(00:00):
It's camp I am six forty andyou're listening to the Conway Show on demand
on the iHeartRadio app. All right, I've got a lot going on today.
We've got Alex Michaelson coming on.He's always great. He comes on
at what is it four thirty Yeah, four to thirty five. We'll hang
out with him. A street fightSanta Anna, middle of the day,

(00:20):
pretty rare, Pretty rare. Afight here in the middle of a Santa
Anna street today. It's raising alot of questions. This is along First
Street near Euclid. The video showsone man punching and kicking another man lying
in the street. Police say theygot nine to one to one calls and
they're aware of the video, butby the time police got there, both
drivers were gone. Ah. They'reencouraging anyone of the information on these men
in the video to call police.Man, guys and gals are hot out

(00:44):
there, and this is gonna bea hot weekend. We're gonna be in
the nineties and hundreds over the weekend. So here's my tip. I lay
it on everybody. So far,I've only had one taker, name is
Angel Martinez. But here's the tipon how to keep a lot how to
stay alive. I'm gonna give youa t up on how to stay alive
in Los Angeles. If it's morethan ninety degrees out or at eighty five

(01:06):
ninety right, and it's gonna benorth of them. If a guy's driving
around with his windows open, donot honk at him. Don't honk at
him. He doesn't have air conditioning, and he's really really pissed. Because
nothing makes you crazier than heat.Nothing, It boils your blood. I

(01:29):
think that's the problem. I thinkthat's a major problem in the Middle East.
I think if all those people inthe Middle East had air conditioner,
head air conditioning, we'd have lessproblems. I think the air conditioning.
Instead of dropping bombs on these poorpeople, we should drop air conditioners.
And I think a lot of thoseproblems are go away. So see not
bombs, Yeah, ac ac that'swhat they need. But do not honk

(01:55):
at a guy or a gal ora guy wanted to be a gal or
girl want to be a guy. There's a whole run I gotta follow here,
but don't do that over the weekendbecause you could get shot. You
could get shot. Don't honk atanybody. Don't flip anybody off with their
windows down. That guy's already pissedand he's on edge. I've taken I've

(02:17):
taken Timmy's advice as he mentioned, and it has probably saved my life.
That's right, that's right. Yes, yes, I'm responsible for Angel Martinez
being alive. That's pretty cool.Alright, Really, we're live. We're
all still live here on camp. What was that? What was that?
Bellio? You're great? Oh,thank you? Great timing too. They

(02:38):
can't all work perfectly, Queen oftime, you're great. You know I
always say about Bellio, they alwayssay two things. One when she gets
some sleep, she's as sharp asthey come. And two she has really
great great you're timing timing, it'screwedthat up too. What's going on?

(03:05):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior ondemand from KFI AM sixty. Growing up,
my uncle's were all very musical.Everybody in my family played an instrument.
My sister Kelly played the piano,my brother Pat played the guitar,
my brother and the drums. Mybrother Jake played the piano, little guitar,

(03:27):
my brother Corey Sean. Everybody played, and my dad played saxophone.
My mom played the piano, andon Sunday, you know, occasionally the
whole family would get together like acrazy Brady Bunch hour and everybody would play
an instrument and you know, andknock out a song. And because I
couldn't play an instrument, I wasreading Sports Illustrated in the corner. So

(03:47):
we're in the room though, right, I was in the room. Yeah,
I was told I had to bein the room, so I was.
I remember times like I'm just gonnago to my No, you will
be in here with everybody else.My mom was big on that. Yeah.
And when my mom introduced us.My mom had six kids, and
whenever she introduced us to somebody new, she made us line up in age,

(04:10):
which is pretty humiliating by about fifteen, and she made us line up.
So it was Kelly, Timmy Patrick, Jamie Corey, and Sean and
it was like a sound of music, you know, with the Von Trapps
to linding up to meet new people, to down the other woman go up,

(04:31):
and so everybody played an instrument. My uncles all played. My uncles
were great. My uncles were terrificmusicians. And then I hear and they
used to play at Molly Malone's.My uncle Jack, Carrie and Danny and
Wally, all four of them andTommy, five of them would play at
Molly Malone's and they would play there. I don't know whenever they were all

(04:54):
in town, you know, twoor three times a year, and everybody
would go to Molly Malone's and bepacked and they'd have a you know,
I'm singing and drinking and it wasgreat. And then I see Molly Malones
caught on fire, and that washorrible. I couldn't believe it. Molly
Malone's, one of the great barsin the world, caught on fire.
And let's see what what kind ofdamage, and let's see if they can
come back from this. Right,Oh my god, I'm driving by Molly

(05:17):
Malones is on fire. That's certainlywhen not when my uncles were there,
I'll tell you that I'm driving byMolly Malones is on fire. It is
on fire. Holy Cannoli residents andregular patrons were stunned to see their beloved
neighborhood bar up in flames early Thursday. I was shocked. I mean,

(05:38):
it's sad Sea now, the iconicIrish pub in LA's Beverly Grove neighborhood has
been in business and under the sameownership for more than fifty seven years.
Wow, it's a family place, you know. We really are a family
here. Owner Damian Hanlon says itwas just after one pm when he received
frantic calls from his neighbors. Heyman, your place is on fire.

(05:58):
Come back, get up here, get up here. By the time he
arrived, firefighters had extinguished the flames. Fearing the worst, he tells us
he was surprised and thankful when fireofficials told him Molly's was still standing.
Oh good, Okay, it's goingto survive. Handlin also says he's especially
grateful to firefighters for attempting to savethe historic local artwork on the bar's walls.

(06:18):
It's beautiful in there. It's likeliterally going to Ireland without the airfare
and hotels and meals. And isthat enough? I mean, look at
it. It's amazing what they did, the work that they I mean,
what they saved. This incredible. It's just incredible. Can anyone give you
to hear that noise? It's amazingwhat they did that the other owner banging

(06:39):
his head on the bar, It'samazing what they did the work that they
I mean, what they saved thisincredible. It's just incredible. Can anyone
give you any idea of what startedthe fire? No? No, it
started outside and it wasn't electrical,So that's all I know. Started right
down in that corner. That's thefire department says. Molly's is known for

(07:01):
its live music. That's right. So when I got home last night,
I looked through old tapes for hoursand hours and hours, and I found
a tape of my uncle Jack playingat Molly Malone's. Is that wild?
Yeah, here's my uncle Jack,Uncle Jack Dalton, I'm playing at Molly
Malone's. This is probably nineteen seventyI don't know, seventy one seventy two,

(07:25):
somewhere around there. Off Jane bythe way. Morning. He had
an Elvis thing going on. Radical. It's a radical Elvis thing going on.
Radical. Cheez John and call meJo. I love you Jack.

(08:01):
You know he sho's so very lowhim, he was rough. No,
do know what do you? Oh? Yeah, that's my uncle Jack playing

(08:26):
it. Molly mimans, Yeah,I don't know what him. This song
reminds me and I don't know whosings this one. I don't maybe I
know, you know, but itgoes hello window, Oh yeah, yeah,
that's who sings it, Willy Nelson, Yeah, Hello Walls, Hello
Hello. Yeah. That's a greatsong. But here's more of Jack Dalton
playing at the Molly below. Jaydo be and I think it is.

(08:58):
I think it's nineteen seventy one. It's a cassette tape talk about Joe,
spend my whole my eating grew.It doesn't get up stairs wing to break
down, eating grew my wife.Man, the great war worm man.

(09:24):
You know his car bomb story hurtsmy stole. That's not being a fire.
So we keep with the water man. Who's this guy? I wouldn't

(09:48):
get my house. No group doesn'tsound of what good guys at all.
It's like that, bring us home, bring us own money. You're so
nice to be. My uncle Jackcalled beautiful man, beautiful beautiful man.

(10:11):
One of the last guys to playat Molly Malone's before it caught on fire.
I think nineteen seventy two. Maybethey've had bands there since, who
knows, but I'm glad it's gonnabe fine. Molly Malone's is gonna survive.
That's great news. So we cango down there and buzz down there
and see some beautiful, beautiful Irishbands. You're listening to Tim Conway Junior

(10:33):
on demand from kf I Am sixforty every single Friday. We have our
buddy on Alex Michaelson and he joinsus. Now, Alex, how you
bob ding dong with you? Timmy? How are you ding dong ding dong
ding dong with you? Hey?I got a quick question for you.
Yes, here's how my, Here'show. How people are they? You

(10:54):
know they hate a lot of peoplehate Donald Trump. I don't if you
picked up on it, they do. Yeah. So there was a question
that was asked to people and itwas it was phrase like this, Donald
Trump wants to eliminate the tax ontips, and thirty eight percent agreed with
that. But when they took DonaldTrump's name out of that question, sixty

(11:15):
two percent agree with it. Isthat wild? That is a state of
our apolitics, I guess. So. So it was a kind of a
wild week leading up to this debatenext Thursday week from yesterday. And I
think there's going to be Super Bowlnumbers. I agree, I mean,

(11:35):
yeah, Trump made this comments.By the way, in Nevada where he's
trying to, you know, winover the workers there. In their comment
in Las Vegas about the tips,Yeah, I mean it's interesting because DNN
is doing the debate, but theyare making it available to the other networks
to simulcast good and every network isgoing to be simulcasting it, including Fox

(11:58):
eleven. If people want to watchit there, We're going to be doing
a live post show edition of theissue is with John Kobalt's going to be
in studio with us after listeners. If you want to come on to Tim,
You're welcome, but I know you'vegot a job to do it.
Yeah, I'll be working, butI appreciate the invite. Always invited during
work hours. I like that.I like that. But but yeah,

(12:20):
I mean it's going to be hugebecause I think and I think that the
stakes are really on Biden. Imean, the because Trump you kind of
know what you're going to get, right, He's going to do what he's
going to do, although it'll beinteresting to see how he handles these rules
where the Michael get cut and allof that, and not having a studio
audience. But I think the overwhelmingmajority of independent minded voters want to get

(12:46):
a sense of is Joe Biden soold and so out of it that he
can't do the job anymore, orand the old guy's still kind of got
a little bit left in the tank, Okay. And I think I think
that people are going to be watching, especially the first fifteen to twenty minutes
of the debate, trying to thinkabout that. See, I look at

(13:07):
it a little differently. I mean, not not the debate, but the
election this year. You know,it took us two hundred years as a
country to get a trillion dollars intodebt. Now we do another. We
do a trillion dollars in debt everyone hundred and ten days. So this
party's coming to an end. Itdoesn't matter who's in the oval office.

(13:31):
Yeah, but I mean Trump didn'treduce the deficit in a meaningful way.
I'm not saying I'm saying I'm sayingneither one did. I'm saying, whoever
ends up in office, the overalldebt of this country is so overwhelming that
I think we're in for a reallybad spell no matter who's in office.
Yeah, at some point, youactually have to pay your bills, that's

(13:52):
right, Yet, I mean right, now, you know, the United
States only has the money to paythe interest on it. Now that's all.
That's that's it, and nobody talksabout it, and just printing more
money seems to be the solution, which is what they do. Yeah,
I mean, you're right, thatis an issue that has not talked about
that much and not something I thinkthat's an animating issue for Donald Trump and

(14:13):
his supporters. Would they talk aboutthat are animating issues? They talk about
the border and immigration and sort ofthat fear that the other is coming and
it's time to protect what we haveand we've come too politically correct and it's
time that somebody strong enough to pushback. And of course the Democrats are

(14:33):
concerned that Trump doesn't believe in democracyand that this could be, you know,
the end of the country as weknow it, and they want somebody
to fight him back, right,And it's not the most joyous election we've
ever seen in our lifetime, itcould be one of the most important.
Who's on the Big Show night theissue is So we've got a big exclusive

(14:54):
this week. Robert F. Kennedy'srunning mate, Nicole Shanahan had not done
a Team News interview or sat downwith any mainstream journalist in new months since
she's been announced until now. Shesat down with us for a extensive We
talked to her for like forty fiveminutes at her house in Malibu on a
whole bunch of topics that are alreadymaking a bunch of national headlines written about

(15:18):
in all these different outlets in thelast few days. On vaccines, on
abortions, on how she's going towin the race, on her qualifications for
against me, all different. Howyou got nice place? Of course,
she had a nice place. Yeah, I mean, you know, she's
got some serious, serious coin. You know. There was a protest across
the street from US here on Californiaand Olive, and they're protesting Warner Brothers,

(15:41):
the parent company of CNN. Theywanted RFK Junior to be on the
stage on the debate next Thursday, and their chant was more voices, more
choices, which I thought was interesting. But there were probably a couple hundred
people out there protesting. Yeah, they did simultaneous protests at the different CNN
offices around the country at right, just in Washington and New York and Atlanta,

(16:04):
all making that point. And youknow, I mean, Robert F.
Kennedy could be a significant factor inthis election. He is polling really
well, the best since any sinceRoss Bureow in terms of independent candidates.
And frankly, if the show isreally bad next Thursday, when everybody looks
at these two candidates and think,uh oh, we want another choice,

(16:26):
you could see Robert F. Kennedy'snumbers go up with the day that scene
is really bad for both of them. I think you're onto something, Bud.
I'll be watching tonight at ten thirty. Does when does it play again?
Are you still on? Like atone thirty in the morning, right
one thirty in the morning. Weair again on Sundays at nine am after
fut Sunday, and then we alsoair on a sister station, Channel thirteen

(16:47):
Sundays at twelve thirty pm, Sofour times to watch the issue's And what
is that new se cup show onTV? Is that your is that local
Fox eleven? It is produced byall the Fox stations and it airs right
now once a week six thirty andit's focused on the swing states. It's

(17:07):
called Battleground and it's a look atyou know, what's happening in all the
different swing states as we get closer, because ultimately this whole election really isn't
gonna be determined by us. Sure, we're determined by a few thousand people
in a few states. That's right, buddy. I appreciate you coming on.
Have a great weekend, and realquickly, did you treat Dad right?
On Father's Day? We had agreat day. And you know,
my sister just had a baby abouta month and a half ago. Dad,

(17:36):
Grandfather's Day. Wow, we gotto spend the day with the baby
watching golf, great golf match thatday that was so fun to watch,
and at the pool and barbecuing. It was like a perfect tax. Did
your daughter treat you right? Sheput a picture of my daughter and I
hugging after her last game of cheerand I that was the perfect gift for

(17:59):
me. That's all I needed. And then she had to go to a
party. Somebody arranged a birthday partyon Father's Day, which allowed me to
slide out of the house and goto Sant Nita and then to Lo sou
Win. Buddy, who are youtalking to Seriously? It's wrong with you?

(18:21):
God? That is so insulting. All right, but I really appreciate
you coming on. Have a greatweekend. We'll talk to you next week.
Good luck at the track. Seeyou buddy, all right. Alex
Michaelson, the King of Local.I don't know political shows. I guess

(18:41):
you're listening to Tim Conway Junior onDemya from KFI AM six forty and the
LA Kings have unveiled a brand newlogo, brand new logo for your Los
Angeles Kings. And I looked atit for twenty minutes and I can't tell
what's new about it. And I'ma big Kings fan. I've been a

(19:03):
Kings fan since the late sixties.Yeah. Love The Kings finally got a
Stanley Cup in twenty twelve, anotherone in twenty fourteen. The sports highlight
of my life and a personal highlightof my life. I was happier about
that than most things that have happenedto me in my life. When your
team wins the Stanley Cup, man, there's nothing like that, nothing like

(19:25):
that in the world. And Iwas at the game where they beat the
New York Rangers, who went intoovertime, and I knew that if I
was in that bowl in the arena, that they would lose. So I
got a hot dog and a cokeand I sat outside the arena and listened
to the game on the radio andwatch it on TV out where they sell

(19:49):
concessions, because I knew if Iwas in sitting down one of the seats,
Kings would have lost. And theywon, and I was the only
guy sitting there watching it TV setlike us at home, and they won
the Stanley Cup. Well, nowthey got a brand new logo. Well
it's a new era for the Kings, or reimagined era, you might say.
LA unveiled their new logo today.King's president Luke Robotiz said the evolution

(20:14):
is rooted in the team's fifty sevenyear history and embraces the elements of their
eras It features a modernized version ofthe logo used from nineteen eighty eight to
nineteen ninety eight when Wayne Gretzky wason the ice. Oh that's why I
can't tell the difference, because it'sthe same logo they've used before, and
an updated version of the original King'sCrown from nineteen sixty seven. Ah,

(20:36):
the crown's different. Okay, I'lllook at it again. The black and
white colors will stay the same, but in an enhanced silver will be showcased
on the new Jerseys coming next week. Go Kings, Go Yes. Yes.
The Stanley Cup continues Tonight Edmonton isplaying the Panthers, and if Edmonton
wins tonight, then they win inFlorida for Game seven. They will have

(21:00):
come back and erased a zero tothree deficit and win the Stanley Cup in
seven games. That hasn't happened sincenineteen forty two, where the Toronto Maple
Leafs did it. That hasn't happened. The last time that happened. Hitler
was alive. Hitler was in nineteenforty two. Hitler was alive and kicking

(21:23):
ass. Norm MacDonald had a greatline. He said, I don't know
if you guys are history buffs outthere, but we've had two World Wars
and Germany started them and they tookthey wanted and they took on as their
enemy the world. And he said, and it was close, it was

(21:47):
close, but it hasn't happened sincenineteen forty two. Hitler was still alive.
Last time this happened, I sawthe highlight from the other nine.
I'm not sure if it was justthe last game, but the save by
the Florida Panthers of that puck justnot getting into the net. Oh yeah,
where he was completely laid out andjust swung his stick around. That

(22:07):
was one of the most amazing savesI've ever seen. That was wild.
Yeah, there's been some great games, and now we're going into late June,
almost July with the Stanley Cup.Usually with the NBA and the NHL,
they're usually playing their finals at theexact same time, and usually the
NHL finishes before, but not thistime. NHL keeps going. He keeps
going and going. Man, it'sgonna be July if they Hey, if

(22:30):
they win tonight, the last gamewill be June. I think twenty third
or twenty fourth. And that's late. Is that late? All right?
I have a charger at home thatcould kill me. And there are six
hundred thousand portable chargers out there. They can wipe you out, and I've
got one at home. I havethis exact same charger at home product that
could be in your bag right nowthat could pose a fire risk. More

(22:52):
than half a million my charge powerHub all in one portable charges are being
recalled. They're sold exclusively at Costco. Yeah, I bought it at Costco.
It was like fifty nine bucks orsomething like that. The Consumer Product
Safety Commission says there have been atleast one hundred and twenty reports of chargers
overheating while charging. Oh, Igot to get rid of this thing.

(23:14):
My charge says it received reports oftwo residential fires that cause significant property damage.
I don't know. Do I takeit back to Costco? I guess
yeah, take it back to Costcothe hell, let them deal with it,
you know. I bet they're thrilledof nine hundred chargers coming back that
all could catch fire. But itwas a great charger. Well it wasn't
killing me, so I enjoyed it. I enjoyed it. But take it

(23:37):
back to Costco. Get your moneyback on that charger. Let's fine out
which I think it's called my chargerproduct that could be in your bag right
now that could pose a fire riskmore than half a million. My charge
power hub all in one portable charges, that's what they are. My my
charge, My charge, my chargepower hub all in one portable charges.

(23:59):
Yeah, wipe the out kill you. It could kill you, so stop
using it. Take it back toCostco and get yourself a new sweet one.
Yeah, new sweet charger, man? Do I love chargers. When
I get a new one, Ifeel like I'm a kid in a candy
store. Love those chargers. Idon't know why. Seems kind of random.

(24:21):
I know, weird things that Ihook up with, like oh,
I got a new charger, Anew charger, my wife and Darla who
