Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's KFI AM six and you're listening to the Conway
Show on demand on the iHeartRadio app. But we have
some breaking news here. They might be looking for an
aircraft that has gone down off the peninsula there Palace Vertees.
So it's it's only been one report that a plane

(00:21):
went down, but they're taking it seriously, although they have
no planes have been reported missing. No planes have reported missing,
so it's odd, strange, but yet they're taking it very seriously.
They have a command post there on the peninsula and

(00:43):
they're trying to.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Figure this out. But it's it's odd.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
It's really strange, strange afternoon, and so we're keeping an
eye on that.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Plus we have.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
I think we reported earlier on the station that one
of the members, singer Liam Payne, died. One of the
One Direction members has passed away and I guess falling
off of some building. It was a former One Direction

(01:19):
Liam Payne died after falling from the third floor, third floor,
that's thirty feet, very hard to survive that from a
hotel room in Argentina. Emergency services were called Wednesday evening
in order to deal with a man acting erratically and
perhaps under the influence and it turned out to be

(01:41):
this kid, well, I guess not kid anymore. But singer
Liam Payne died after falling from a hotel room. So
we're going to have I think Jojo is gonna go
Jojo Wright is going to come on and talk to
us about it. But that's a big deal. That's a
big deal. That's a very very popular group at one point.

(02:02):
And if you're a fan of that group, you know
his work, you know, you know how popular that that
band was for a long long time. And you know,
I this is Odd Crozier and you're more of a
music guy than I am. But I looked up the
net worth of Liam Payne and I thought, you know,
for a guy who wasn't the you know, the star

(02:26):
of that group of One Direction, he can't be worth much.
Guys worth seventy million dollars. Wow, seventy million dollars. That's unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
Had a friend of mine who's older than I am,
texted me and said that the Pain's death really stings.
He said, fan or not, we watched him grow up
for fifteen years. Yeah, yeah, ah man, a lot of
bad news. And then we're gonna have this story here
probably in the next hour. But there are some ballots.
They've been found in a storm drain.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
So here we go.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Here we go with you know, not knowing what's going
on with the election. It's like ten to fifteen, maybe
twenty ballots found in a storm drain, and we're going
to try to figure out the details on that, which never.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Makes sense to me because it's like, you don't know
what's on the ballot. If somebody's going to intentionally throw
them away, they don't know what's on it, exactly right.
They're making an assumption what based on where they got
the ballots.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
From maybe or maybe you know, somebody just wants to
sew you know, kind of you know, the craziness already
and maybe they print it up or they have some
envelopes they just tuck stuffed them with, not even ballots.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Sewing discord.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Yes, exactly right, and that's already happening, already happening.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Here we go. This might be a crazy election.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
But I like when Bill Maher was asked, Hey, what
are you going to do if Trump wins?

Speaker 2 (03:52):
And his reaction nothing, Go.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
To work, go to eat, go to the toilet, do
everything I did the day before. Whoever wins, your life
is going to go on. It's going to go on
in a big way. It's going on. It's going to
go on in a probably exact similar way no matter
who wins, unless and I always say this, unless you
work for the government or in the military, and then

(04:17):
your life is going to change. But if you're just
an average citizen working at an average job, you're not
going to really notice as you go through life who
the president is because it doesn't really affect you much.
I mean, you'll know it because you'll read the news
and watch the news on TV, and you hear people
talking about it, but it's not going to directly affect

(04:38):
a lot of people's lives. You might pay more in taxes,
or you might pay less in taxes, but it's not
going to be a life changing event for ninety nine
percent of the people who live in this country. It's
just not and I'm probably I don't know, in a
small microcosm. Proof of that is that my life doesn't
change at all between presidents. My life wasn't any different

(05:03):
under Bush than it was Clinton, Clinton, under Obama, Obama,
under you know whoever, Reagan. It just wasn't different at all,
and so for people to get really worked up on
who's gonna be president, whether it's Harris or Trump, take
a breath, take a deep breath in your life. The
day after will be really, really similar to the day before,

(05:24):
really similar. I know, I know you're on the red
team or you're on the blue team, and your guy
or your gal's gotta win.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Where it's the end of the world. It's not. It's
not the end of the world, not even close, not
even close. All right, Dodger update.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
If you're watching the game or listening to the game
half ass on the radio, then you probably already know this.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
But if you're not, then you notice this.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Dodgers are up two to nothing in the third inning.
And I thought that Mookie Bets caught this ball, but
evidently it fell out of his glove.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Let's watch this again real quick. I thought he caught it.
Oh he didn't. He smothered it.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Okay, all right, So the Mets have one on, no
outs in the third bottom of the third inning, and
we'll keep you updated on that score so you can
continue to listen to us instead of watching it on TV.
We've got a Deli meat recall. People are still flipped
out about Deli meats. You love them, You enjoy them,

(06:26):
big part of your life since you were a childhood,
from your childhood, and mom used to buy that package
of meats. Was that one meat we all had that
came in the in the plastic package. It was like
sixty nine cents for buddy, yeah, buddy, yeah, but oh
was that the best?

Speaker 3 (06:42):
I lived on that when I when I moved out
here and I.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Was in my car, man I and my favorite was
the honey turkey oh.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
And the pastrami pastrami. Ah, turkey pastrami.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
And then as you get older, you're like, wait a minute,
I hate that. Oh no, I still I still you
still get the Oh.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
I get a little sad every time I walk by
the aisle because I'm like, I shouldn't put I want to.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
And you could eat a whole package oh easily. And
you got to fluff it up though. You got to
pull it each slice apart the sandwich.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
Just like Arby's Man.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
You got to pull all the pieces apart and then
put them back together and makes it nice and airy.
Wait what yeah, roast beef sandwiches at Arby's Man. I
open it up and separate all the slices to make
it nice and airy, and oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
How have I not done this?

Speaker 4 (07:26):
Dude?

Speaker 3 (07:26):
But that also allows you to put sauce in between
many layers horse and arby in between the layers of
the meat.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
Oh, oh my god, how have I not done this?
Because when I was a kid, my grandmother got baloney
slice so thin you can read a newspaper through it.
And that's the way. That's the best meat, when it's
really really thin.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
The only time you would want baloney when it was
thicker is if you were going to fry it.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
Yes, right, exactly, exactly, all right, we got the Dodgers
are playing and we got thin baloney.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
That's great. Have we taken the quarter break yet? We
have not? Guys, got to do that? Huh?

Speaker 1 (08:00):
All right, We're still looking for the plane off of
Palace Vertus. We'll keep in contact with you and find
out if that's a true story or if somebody was
just I don't know, imagining it.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
That's possible as well.

Speaker 6 (08:11):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
AM sixty.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Conway Show. Dodger's still up to zip. The third inning
is over. We go into the fourth Dodgers too, Mets, nothing, nothing,
all right, Jojo Wright's gonna come on with us and
to talk about some horrible news with Liam Payne, who

(08:39):
was with One Direction has passed away evidently in Argentina,
fell out of a hotel or some kind of building,
and very bad news. A lot of kids, especially a
lot of young women, love that guy, love him, and.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
Not with us anymore. Horrible all right.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
Some creepy figures. Creepy figures spotted behind home plate at
Dodgers Stadium. What's going on?

Speaker 4 (09:10):
If you watched yesterday's game between the Dodgers and the Mets,
you may have noticed some weird looking people in the car.
I mean, other than the normal wheels.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Oh I remember, yeah, the ones with the yellow shirts.
Take a look at the two.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
People wearing bright neon yellow right behind home plate. They
had these weird grins and expressions on their face the
entire time. So the two people are likely part of
a viral campaign for the film Smile Too. The same
marketing tactics were used for the film's first movie at
ballparks across twenty.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
Two Man, they've gotten a lot of publicity off this thing.

Speaker 4 (09:42):
The two creepy people did break character when a foul
ball headed their way, but.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
Data, we're not shut where they stood.

Speaker 5 (09:53):
It was so much more menacing when they were standing
behind them.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Yeah, they got free publicity from everybody, including us, So
congratulations they won. All right, let's talk about the Starbucks.
Everybody loves Starbucks once in the news. We'd like to
give you the news people still love Starbucks.

Speaker 6 (10:11):
Out Starbucks and the new CEO cutting back on deals.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Rhann and alleys here with what you need to know
on Rihanna. Is this the first of many changes to come?

Speaker 7 (10:20):
Hey Michael, good morning. Yes, customers will notice several changes
they've been brewing after disappointing sales at Starbucks.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
Uh oh, new changes at Starbucks. Let's find out what it's
going to go down.

Speaker 7 (10:30):
Two straight quarters now. So the new CEO is cutting
back on those promotional offers, so you're not going to
see those buy one, get one free deals or any
of those other deep discounts that the coffee chain was
using to try to lure customers back.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
Now the hope is, well, there's a good idea.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
The new CEO comes in and instantly takes more money
out of your wallet.

Speaker 7 (10:49):
Now, The hope is that this will help reposition Starbucks
back to a premium brand while also reducing strain on
employees who get swamped handling all those deals.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
You know, I'm going to make a prediction here, and
I don't known stock in either company, but I'm thinking
about buying some. I think that the new king or queen,
whatever you call it, of coffee is going to be
Dutch Brothers. I think Dutch Brothers is a billion times better.
The customer service is unbelievable. Kids love it, and you

(11:22):
got to invest in companies that the new generation loves
because they're going to be around for a long time.
Kids love Dutch Brothers. They absolutely flip out over Dutch Brothers.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
So maybe it's a stock to buy. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
I don't know much about buying stock or selling stock.
I've never been good at it, and maybe no more
than I do, probably do. But I would think a
company is going to be around for a long time
and make a lot of money. Dutch Brothers and their
ticker symbol. I think it's a New York Stock exchange.
They're listed in NYSC.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
It's Bros. Bros. So maybe look it up. I don't know, maybe.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
Make a couple of bucks enjoy yourself. But I think
that's the wave of the future. Dutch Brothers.

Speaker 7 (12:08):
The CEO said in a letter that it needs to
get back to its roots as a community coffee house.
So we may see changes to the seating and the
design of the shops when you go in to get
your coffee in the coming days. But guys, it appears
that there won't be any big changes to these seasonal offerings,
at least not now. So you're pumpkin spice slant taste
should be safe, thank you please?

Speaker 2 (12:33):
What a joke?

Speaker 7 (12:34):
Right, Pumpkin spice slant taste should be safe?

Speaker 2 (12:38):
I got a big big gofa after that.

Speaker 7 (12:40):
Yeah, at least not now, So you're pumpkin spice slants
should be safe?

Speaker 5 (12:48):
Thank you?

Speaker 8 (12:48):
Away.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
What's going on all right?

Speaker 1 (12:51):
That is uh And we're still looking for this plane
crash off the Pacific Peninsula Palace vertus. If we have
any more information on that, we will bring it to
you a as a hey, and then when we come
back from commercial Jojo Wright is going to be with us.
You can hear him on I don't know, he's on
Kiss FM and he's on ninety eight point seven. He's

(13:13):
all over the place. He's got the show on. I
think he's on. I think he's also on Coast one
O three point five. Guys, everyone is that him? I
didn't see him. Hey, buddy, I didn't see you. Come
on in man, Jojo Wright. How you dude, let's flip
that microphone on you. Bob, Hey, I haven't seen you.

(13:34):
Why I see you in the parking lot because we
end our shift, I think at the same time.

Speaker 9 (13:37):
Yeah, every time I'm walking down, I'm like, there he
is high five on the way out.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
You know, and you're going one way and I'm going
the other, you know. But goodness, how are you, buddy?
I always used to see you.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
I don't see you as much me because I'm not watching.
I don't get up that early. But you're still doing KTLA.

Speaker 9 (13:49):
I haven't done KTLA as far as filling in for
you know, our good friend Sam recipes.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
Buddy, that show is not the same without Sam, is
you know? I Wow.

Speaker 9 (13:58):
Last time I saw him was Chrissmus of last when
he came here to do a lot of the Christmas updates.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
Then when they and and it was just.

Speaker 9 (14:07):
Like the rest of us shocked but the last time
I filled in for Sam was probably twenty just before
twenty twenty, and I've been over there done a couple
of promo hits. Matter of fact, I'm gonna be over
there on Monday doing a promo hits.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
Oh that's great.

Speaker 9 (14:20):
But but yeah, just I haven't filled in for him
in a in a while and got still still shocking, man, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
You know it was.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
It was a one two punch too, because you know,
Sam Ruben passed away, and and I love the fact
that they did like five straight days of just tribute
to Sam Rubin.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Loved it.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
They just did Sam for five days. I mean literally
there was nothing else on. And then Mark Chrisky had
his stroke. Yeah, and that show in the morning without
those two guys, it's not the same.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
It's it's real.

Speaker 9 (14:50):
I went to there was a Sam a little gathering
last last week. I believe it was at gotta forget
the name of the restaurant, but but I saw Mark there.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
Oh yeah, he's a huge friend, but a big, huge friend.

Speaker 9 (15:04):
Yeah he I you know, And I text Bark briefly
after he had his stroke and he said he was
doing fine. I know he went through a lot, but
standing there with Mark in a crowd of people. I
felt very kind of protective over him because the waiters
are walking around with food and there's Mark. You know,
he's doing great, yeah, but you're still kind of in
your in your in the back of your mind, like God,
I got don't bump into Mark. So I kind of
put my hand around Mark a little bit. I don't

(15:25):
know you noticed it. You know, he was just and
he looks like he's on TV. He looks like he's
doing great in personal he looks like I thought he
was a little like, just are you okay?

Speaker 2 (15:33):
Mark? Are you good?

Speaker 1 (15:34):
But you know, I thought he looked better after the
stroke than he did before. Really yeah, he he he
wears strokes well. He he would punch you.

Speaker 9 (15:45):
But he's doing really well, you know, from what I
can tell you.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
He text me or I text him, you know, two
three times a month. I love that guy.

Speaker 9 (15:52):
He's a great dude. That whole that whole team is
just it's one big family over there. It really really is.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
And I especially love when he screws up and they
busted his balls.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
It seems to happen a lot. Are you're on the
air right now, I'm on the air right now. I
just a little behind the scenes.

Speaker 9 (16:07):
I recorded a couple of tracks just to make it
seem like I'm there, but I'm actually here live live.
Then I'll go back to Kiss FAM and a couple Okay.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
So real quickly, bad news with Liam Payne.

Speaker 9 (16:16):
Yeah, wonder if you guys have one direction A lot
of one direction fans. There were a huge group for
Kiss FM and for a lot of people loved one direction.
Liam Payne was one of the original five and he
passed away today. I'm sure you've given.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
On all the info. Thirty one years old. It was
in Argentina.

Speaker 9 (16:35):
Happened at five o'clock in the afternoon in Argentina, which
is right about one o'clock or just after one hour time,
and he was on the originally reported the third floor
of a hotel. They corrected it to the fourth floor.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
He fell.

Speaker 9 (16:48):
They don't know why. Was it an accident or did
he you know, do it intentionally?

Speaker 2 (16:53):
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (16:53):
Ongoing investigation, it's just getting started. We won't know for
a while. But he fell from the fourth floor balcony
of a hotel room in Argea and passed away. And
uh he was in Argentina, to see Nile Horn another.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
Member of One Direction.

Speaker 9 (17:07):
Wow, he was there to see Nile and I don't know,
I don't know what happened.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
You know, the news spread quickly because my daughter got
home around two forty five this afternoon and the first
thing she said is she goes Dad, a guy from
One Direction just died.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
Yep. I mean that that news spreads quickly now with
the internet. It is.

Speaker 9 (17:23):
It's crazy, and it's just he was thirty one and
not the news any of us expected to hear. You know,
I had KISSFM, like I said, we you know, we've
known the guys of One D for a while. I
bet and uh, I guess one story that pops in
my head if you want to. I mean a jingle
ball a couple of years ago, back when One Direction
was four members because Zany left, so four members it

(17:43):
was Harry, Nile Louis and obviously you know, Liam and
I got up from the table. You know, we have
a little interview table, like you know, just like you
guys did. Sure, and I got I had my phone
sitting on the table. I walked away and Liam grabbed
my phone. I guess I had it unlocked, and he
starts taking like about one hundred selfies of himself. So
and I posted a couple minutes ago. So you see

(18:03):
his face and then you see, you know, you see
Louis in the background, and.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
Oh that's so great. It's a you know, but this
cool you other kind of connection with them. It was,
it was, it was pretty neat.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
Oh that's awesome, dude, there you go. But you know,
I I because worth seventy million dollars. Is that a
lot of money? Is that that a real number?

Speaker 2 (18:22):
Yeah, seventy million dollars. I'm not surprised.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
I can't believe how much money that group must have
made for he made up and that's not Harry styles.

Speaker 9 (18:30):
No, that's one d together. Now Harry's made his own.
Who knows what Harry's worth, but he's Where were you
when you found out the news, because I know you
had a relationship.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
I was.

Speaker 9 (18:38):
I was, you know, I mean, I didn't know him
as probably as good as a lot some people think
I did. I probably know you know Nile better and
maybe Louis a little better, just because I've spent more
time with him. But I interviewed him quite a few
times over the years. I guess I kind of kne
him a little bit, and uh, I was downstairs at
Kiss FM.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
I was prepping to go on the radio. Unbelievable.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
We got to take a break. I know you got
to get back up on the radio. I appreciate you
coming down. If you hear any of anything, could.

Speaker 9 (18:59):
You let I absolutely tears anything Anya Jojo Wright, get
on social media and follow him.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
It's at Jojo on the radio. Right enough? Okay?

Speaker 1 (19:16):
Is the keyword balls? Billium? It's at Jojo right?

Speaker 2 (19:20):
All right? At Jojo right? What radio?

Speaker 6 (19:24):
What is it?

Speaker 2 (19:25):
I'm gonna correct this, what is it? What for?

Speaker 1 (19:28):
My myg is just Jojo Wright? Jojo Right? What's your Instagram?

Speaker 10 (19:34):
You?

Speaker 2 (19:34):
Two balls? Is mine? All right? At Jojo right? Okay,
Thanks buddy.

Speaker 6 (19:42):
I appreciate you're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand
from kf I Am six forty Conway Show.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
Still wondering if a plane has gone down off the
coast of California, Palace Vertus, Pacific Peninsula, that area.

Speaker 2 (19:58):
We don't know.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
There's a report or that somebody saw a plane fly
or fall into the ocean, and you got to take
it seriously, but there have been zero reports of planes
missing right now, as of you know, six forty, there
are zero planes missing in California. Now, it could be

(20:21):
a plane that is homemade. It could be a plane
that doesn't have a didn't have a follow up a file,
a flight plan. It could be a guy who's on
drugs and just was seeing things.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
And they have concluded the search tonight. Oh they have
it's over. Yeah, they just can't.

Speaker 3 (20:41):
That just came across fire and baywatch crew said they
concluded the search efforts.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
All right, well and they found nothing.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
So now they go back to that guy and see
if he was too high to continue.

Speaker 10 (20:55):
You know what, There's been a ton of UFO sidings
off of Pallasford no way.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
Yeah, is that what you mean recently over the years.

Speaker 10 (21:05):
Yeah, I didn't know that, And even people insist that
they've seen some entering and leaving the water. So some
people believe that there's some type of a you know,
underwater station or something. Is that right on the backside
of Catalina?

Speaker 1 (21:22):
Yeah, George Georgette knew Norri. That's classic.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
Wow, I didn't know that. Coast to coast, you know
what you want reports.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
I heard that somebody, somebody had ten thousand ballots and
they're throwing ballots into the ocean.

Speaker 10 (21:40):
Whoa are they the ones that they found in the
in the body and they just.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
Yeah, there's more in the alleys, more in the gutters.
They're everywhere, They're everywhere.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
So yeah, but there was a report that they found
ballots in the gutter. And that's just going to make
people crazy. People are already nuts, and that's going to
make them just a little.

Speaker 2 (22:00):
Speaking of you know what's coming up, Oh, ghost to ghosts.
We're two weeks from ghost to ghosts over six hours
of ghost stories. Ah, that's cool, that is a cool deal.

Speaker 6 (22:14):
All right.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
If you're coughing and I hear people coughing all day long,
you might have whooping cough.

Speaker 9 (22:23):
Oh no, Doctor Jaren is back with us and we
were talking about whooping cough.

Speaker 11 (22:28):
Yeah, I know it's it's it's a name that actually
sounds funny, but it's a very serious condition. This is
a respiratory infection caused by a bacteria. Even this starts
out as what seems to be a cold for about
two weeks and then progresses to the second stage, which
are these violent coughing attacks that can last up to
three months long.

Speaker 9 (22:47):
So you can get whooping cough.

Speaker 11 (22:48):
Yeah, well, the treatment involves antibiotics, and it's about focusing.

Speaker 2 (22:51):
On those say, three months violent.

Speaker 11 (22:53):
Coughing attacks that can last up to three months.

Speaker 1 (22:57):
WHOA, no, three months of coughing, that's out of control,
that's worse.

Speaker 11 (23:02):
Yeah, well, the treatment involves antibiotics, and it's about focusing
on those who are high risks. And I talk to
my residents and my medical students about this because you
have to not only pay attention to the history the symptoms,
but also focus on those who are most at risk,
which includes children under the age of one. Statistically, one
out of every three kids who gets this diagnosis is
going to be hospitalized, so you have to make sure

(23:22):
that you have urgent treatment. And then also pregnant women
for the same reasons, because you don't want a pregnant
mother delivering with an active infection. As a mother who
has texted you on your personal phone and the medical
advice when my little one was sick, what are the
things that we can do to make sure that we
don't get in that our little ones don't get this
great question. So number one, basic mitigation efforts that we've
all learned hand washing, washing surfaces.

Speaker 3 (23:43):
But there you go.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
Do you hear that? Kids, you're how to get how
to avoid the whooping cough? Hand washing, hand washing, hand washing,
we're played a thousand times, so everybody understands handwashing.

Speaker 3 (23:56):
That does seem like the thing that kids hate most
in the world. Oh yeah, brushing their teeth, yes, they
hate it.

Speaker 11 (24:02):
Hand washing, washing surfaces. But then also making sure that
your children are up to dated on their vaccine schedules.
And for adults, we have to make sure that we
get updated on that vaccine about every ten years. And
then for pregnant women because of the risk we discuss,
we encourage to get vaccinated in the third trimester. So
hand washing, washing surfaces, and making sure that you're updated
on your vaccines.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
There's more of this this season than there have been previously,
which is sort of scary for us, Like, what is
there anything different we should be doing? So they're a
dying in the background coughing, But is there anything different
we should be this? Yes, guys dying in the background.
Is there anything different we should be doing?

Speaker 11 (24:37):
So a great question. So right now we've surpassed seventeen
thousand cases. That's quadrupled the number we saw at this time.
Last year.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
A couple of reasons.

Speaker 11 (24:45):
One, we saw a drop during the pandemic for the
same reasons that we protect to get.

Speaker 1 (24:48):
Your hands and get Vaccinay, if you're still into vaccines.
I think a lot of people are not into vaccines anymore.
I think it's going to be very difficult to get
people to back into vaccines, you know, with the flu
vaccine and.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
What else is there?

Speaker 1 (25:03):
Rickets, shingles the whole run.

Speaker 6 (25:08):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
Am sixty.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
We have some bad news for monkeys and monkey lovers
in Hong Kong. A section of Hong Kong's oldest zoo
is still closed today after nine monkeys, including three from
a critically endangered species, died for reasons that they don't know.

(25:37):
It's a mystery, total mystery. Two officials are investigating what
cause the deaths of the monkeys, which included a squirrel monkey,
a braza monkey, and no Good No Good. Also four
white faced sakes I died and they're gonna, you know,

(26:00):
perform what a neckruptcy That a sort of an an
autopsy on an animal. Well that's exactly what it is.
But there are fewer than six thousand of these monkeys
left in the wild. It seems like a lot, I
don't know. But then and then also there's there's monkeys

(26:22):
in Mexico that are dying.

Speaker 12 (26:23):
But this might be the heat, especially the howler monkeys
in the southeastern state of Tabasco. It's so hot in
the region, heat dropping dead. Eyewitnesses say it feels like
monkeys are falling from the trees like apples.

Speaker 10 (26:42):
Now.

Speaker 12 (26:42):
Local media says that over eighty mid sized primates have
been reported dead so far.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
It's not good when monkeys start dying, because the next
step is us there's some kind of disease going around.
That's the first step to another pandemic. That we could
get another pandemic rolling with these monkeys. No good, no good.
So we're gonna keep an eye on that and to

(27:09):
see if anything comes of it. Bathroom QR codes you get,
you know, instead of having a key to get in
the bathroom, you simply take your phone and scan it
over a QR code and that lets you in the bathroom. Okay,
that seems fair, right. You don't have to bring the
big key from at a gas station that's attached to
you know, a plunger or a hubcap and bring it

(27:32):
into the bathroom with you, and that gets all gross
after a while. Baby, you can just scan a QR
code and get into the bathroom. However, there are some
privacy concerns about the QR.

Speaker 8 (27:42):
Codes, also known as quick response codes, are everywhere restaurants, online,
and now at bathrooms here at Edison High School.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
How does this thing work?

Speaker 13 (27:52):
So when you ask to use the restroom, you have
to go and take your phone up, scan the QR code, ryme,
and then they make you put the phone back, and
then you have to go use the restroom, and you
can't even look at your own timer to see if
you're running out of time or not.

Speaker 8 (28:05):
Some students are so angry and feel like it's a
privacy infringement that they've been circulating a petition on change
dot org saying.

Speaker 2 (28:12):
The policy goes a somebody who's got a lot of time.

Speaker 8 (28:15):
In their hands, that they've been circulating a petition on
change dot org.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
They got enough time on your hands to get a
bathroom petition going, saying.

Speaker 8 (28:23):
The policy goes against the government's duty to protect the
health and safety of students.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
Did you say duty duty too?

Speaker 8 (28:31):
I think you did duty too protect the health and
safety of students. They call it unconstitutional.

Speaker 13 (28:37):
I think it's completely, uh, disgraceful.

Speaker 8 (28:41):
To some students, it's a big deal.

Speaker 1 (28:43):
I think it's everything's a big deal to students. Everything
is a big, big deal to these students.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
Disgraceful to something disgraceful? How about that disgraceful.

Speaker 8 (28:53):
To some students, it's a big deal.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
I think it's I think it's insane.

Speaker 8 (28:58):
Edison's principle reportedly says it's a way to know where
students are during an emergency. But while some students are
trying to learn to cope with the new bathroom policy,
some of their parents didn't even know anything about it.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
Well who cares? I mean, what are you gonna do?

Speaker 1 (29:14):
Go home and say, hey, dad, guess what I now
have to take And now I have to use a
QR code before I take a dump, And Dad's like,
you know, I just got home.

Speaker 2 (29:24):
Go tell you mom. I could care less?

Speaker 10 (29:26):
All right?

Speaker 1 (29:27):
We talk about QR codes every Wednesday at six point
fifty and as always, that's being brought to you by
Oh Advanced Hair. Yeah, one day treatment, life changing results.
Make your appointment today at Advanced hair dot Com Advanced
hair dot Com. All right, Dana Carvey has one of
the best impressions going on right now. He's on Saturday

(29:50):
Night Live, and maybe you've seen it, and it's it's
a great impression of Joe Biden. And let's tell you
how this impression came together.

Speaker 5 (30:01):
People have asked me about the Biden impression. The ice
cream cone was not planned live. I was kind of gesturing.
I thought, here's ice cream, big gob, here's Maya's face.
And I didn't want to hurt her, but I just
mean to put the rest all the rumors and all
the talk.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
Yeah, everyone's been freaking out about this, but you also
had a big glob on your mouth the whole time,
which is that.

Speaker 5 (30:21):
I didn't know it is basically, mister Magoo and Tim
Conway had a baby.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
How about that mister Magoo.

Speaker 5 (30:30):
And Tim Conway had a baby.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
Being dong with that impression. That's kind of wildmo is
that would make you like your half brother? Oh yeah,
because my uncle is mister Magoo. Ry exactly what's on
the Big Show night Bob. We'll we have to keep
hope alive for our Dodgers. I don't want to Chinston.
We're watching the game in studio, trying to pull them along.
And I don't know if you know this, Tim, but

(30:55):
Americans trust in media is at an all time Yeah, Addy,
I thought that's inconceivable.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
Does that include us? I guess so? Oh no includes radio?
Oh my god, what have we done? And there's a
new Diddy accuser?

Speaker 1 (31:09):
No oh man, yet another one, another three thousand something
like that, but there'll be more.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
It's a lot. It's a lot.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
Hey, you turn you turned me onto This is a
casm cosm cosm. Man, what a what a great idea?
Did you get a chance to look at it? Yeah,
it's a it's a kind of a it's a big theater.
It's in Inglewood, yep, and you can it's like you're
at Dodger Stadium or whatever you know field you're at
looking out the Cowboys and the forty nine ers game
this weekend. But it's only twenty two bucks to get in.

(31:37):
It seems cheap.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
It's reasonably yeah price.

Speaker 3 (31:39):
Yeah, I haven't found the right event that I want
to go to, Like I want to catch me in
the a USC game there or something.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
Yeah, it really is a great idea. I wish they
put one in the valley. Valley's got nothing. You know,
we don't football, we don't have hockey. We have basketball,
we do a baseball.

Speaker 2 (31:51):
Got nothing. Let's see if we can get them on, kid.
We have a racetrack. We have a five star restaurant.
We have a spy star. Five star restaurants in the valley.
Not one.

Speaker 1 (32:01):
Really, the clothes we have is up on Supulva, not
even an enzino now on Supulvin. The near last and
