at this time, exactly at this time, but the five
minutes after the down fifty five minutes of the own
we will be in mission via Ho, which I accidentally called,
I don't know, Manhattan Beach.

Speaker 6 (02:04):
What do I call?

Speaker 7 (02:04):
I called it Alisa, well, Alisa. I called the street
Aliso right years but I yesterday in a promo, I
called it Manhattan Beach and I went, no, it's Hermosa Beach,
and then ah F and I swore and that whole
F word made it part of it, made it in
the promo. So that's kind of cool, I guess. But

(02:25):
we're gonna be at Wendy's, Yes, Wendy's tomorrow. Are you
coming down?

Speaker 5 (02:30):
Angel?

Speaker 8 (02:30):
You gonna be there?

Speaker 9 (02:32):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (02:32):
Totally, totally, you know it, you know it. So it's
gonna be it's gonna be great. It's in Mission via Ho.
It's not in Manhattan Beach, it's not in Hermosa Beach.
It's in Mission via Ho two three zero two two.
Alisha Parkway Alisha Parkway, right belly and Angel Alicia.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Parkway, Alicia Parkway. And it's really close to Olympiad an Olympiad.

Speaker 7 (02:57):
All right, and maybe you can tell that story during
commercial breaks tomorrow and everybody not on the air, but
I mean off the air, you know, just knock them
out with that, all right?

Speaker 6 (03:05):
Yeah, I dig dong with you said?

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Is that the correct?

Speaker 6 (03:08):
But Alisha Alicia? It's Alis Alicio? What what happened down there?
Where everything?

Speaker 10 (03:17):
You know?

Speaker 6 (03:17):
There's no Ventura?

Speaker 11 (03:19):
Oh it's spelled also well well no, it's spelled Alisha.

Speaker 7 (03:24):
No, that's a different one behind Croser, that's a different one.
There's Alicia Alicio Parkway and and Alicia. There's Alicia Alicio, Okay,
but there's two of.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
Them that that that that's helpful.

Speaker 6 (03:37):
And they're both in the same city.

Speaker 7 (03:39):
Yes, they both cruise, I believe the same city. I
think they both go through Manhattan. I mean, I think
they both go through Mission Vieho and Lake Forest.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Just give me.

Speaker 6 (03:51):
I can't when I get down there.

Speaker 7 (03:52):
I if I if I go west of the five,
I'm fine, I can can find anything. If I go
east of the five, I'm ker can't find anything. East
of that five nothing. And people at the exact opposite,
you know, if they go west with the seventy three
and Irvine and University of Irvine, you see Irvine, they

(04:13):
can't get around there. But I found that easier. East
of that five, I'm done. I am done.

Speaker 9 (04:19):
Two.

Speaker 6 (04:21):
We're gonna be a the tomorrow four to seven pm.

Speaker 7 (04:26):
The big story in Los Angeles maybe Orange County two.
A lot of people went to a USC and UCLA
big rivalry game. They call it the Civil War. I
don't know, I think do or not, but I called
the Civil War USC UCLA. It means something for both campuses,
both of them.

Speaker 12 (04:43):
This year, the Trojans and Bruins had to renew their
historical borrowing this weekend when the two teams meet for
the ninety fourth time Saturday night in.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Pasadena, UCLA.

Speaker 13 (04:54):
Getting fired up early hosting their PEP rally last night.

Speaker 6 (04:58):
Yeah, okay, this is perfect. This is going to be easy.
I believe. Let's see what tone ski there. Okay, let's try.

Speaker 13 (05:13):
To get to LA getting fired up early hosting their
PEP rally last night.

Speaker 14 (05:21):
What did she say rally last night? Wait a minute,
what did this woman say?

Speaker 6 (05:27):
Rally? Last night? Students, fans, and alumni gathered to celebrate.

Speaker 7 (05:37):
The football God. I didn't realize how close I got.
I got within a letter. Oh I can't Yeah, I
got within one letter. Wow, I lettered. I almost lettered.

Speaker 13 (05:50):
Early hosting their PEP rally last night, Student fans and
alumni gathered to celebrate the football team and his players
last night.

Speaker 7 (06:04):
The guy talking is Glenn Walker. I think he's a
USC guy. I think he's a USC dude.

Speaker 13 (06:09):
The Bruins looked to reclaim the bell after winning last
year's matchup thirty eight to twenty.

Speaker 7 (06:14):
Yeah, anytime you talk about last year's matchup and you
won it, he's a USC guy. You can nail it
right there.

Speaker 13 (06:19):
The Bruins looked to reclaim the bell after winning last
year's matchup.

Speaker 6 (06:23):
Maybe he's UCLA guy who won it last year, UCLA
or USC. I want to say it was usc USC.

Speaker 13 (06:28):
The Bruins looked to reclaim the bell after winning last
year's matchup thirty eight to twenty. However, UCLA will have
an uphill battle on their hands, usc is coming into
the game as four and a half point favorites.

Speaker 6 (06:40):
Meanwhile, USC is set to hold their football rally tonight.

Speaker 13 (06:44):
Saturday's kickoff is at seven thirty pm at the Rose Bowl.

Speaker 6 (06:48):
There you go, Did he say that?

Speaker 14 (06:50):
Did he just say that they're looking to reclaim it
after winning last year?

Speaker 11 (06:53):
No?

Speaker 6 (06:54):
Yeah, it was on.

Speaker 13 (06:55):
The Bruins looked to reclaim the bell after winning last
year's matchup.

Speaker 7 (06:59):
If you want last year, well, I think they put
it on a neutral site and you think, I don't know,
but it's odd, so one hundred and well maybe one hundred.
How many people are going to go to that game though?
Aren't they both sort of average this year?

Speaker 9 (07:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 14 (07:13):
Pretty much. Neither one of them is fighting for putting
it on a neutral site. If you win it, should
you keep it for the year. Yeah, you should keep it, right,
that's the whole point of winning it. That's exactly right,
that's exactly right. Crozier nailed it. But I don't know,
you know, I know a couple of guys going. But
it's not what it used to be. You know, it
used to be both teams were fighting for a title

(07:36):
for you know, national title. It doesn't have the glow
that it used to, does it.

Speaker 7 (07:40):
I'm gonna tell you a really embarrassing story about a
U c L. A USC game. My brother and I.

Speaker 6 (07:47):
This is about.

Speaker 7 (07:49):
Eight years after college, eight years after high school, and
my brother and I came up with this dumb idea
that took off like hotcakes. And it was a shirt
in the US see colors, you know, like that golden maroon,
And it was a white T shirt and it was
golden maroon letters and the letters were in the font
of USC, right, so it looked like USC. And we like, all,

(08:14):
you know, broke guys who go to the racetrack, what's
the first idea they have T shirts?

Speaker 6 (08:20):
T shirts?

Speaker 7 (08:22):
So we had a shirt that said you can't spell
sucks in the USC letters without USC, and man, we
sold them for we made it for four bucks each.
We sold them for twenty and we couldn't stop selling them.
They were we couldn't give them away and we were
making twenty, you know, twenty bucks each. So we had another,
you know, a couple of hundred printed for the next

(08:42):
year USC UCLA game. And I go to sell them,
and I've got like twenty of them, you know, on
my shoulder, selling shirts. And I run into a guy
who have known since like fourth grade, right, and he
went to U UCLA or USC, I don't know which one.
And you know, he's already in show business. He's writing,

(09:03):
he's directing and all that. And I'm living with my brothers,
selling you know, T shirts and the irs a ton
of money because we didn't really knock the taxes out
on that thing. And I run into him and he goes.

Speaker 14 (09:18):
Hey, Tim, what are you doing? Hey, just enjoyed the game.
He goes, oh, really looks like you're selling T shirts.
He's going that, well, that is a long walk away.

Speaker 7 (09:33):
I can tell you exactly what blade of grass that
was on Krozier and when that happened, I can tell
you exactly Rose standard Man.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Does he sent you any offers?

Speaker 6 (09:44):
Only No, he has not offered me any one of
his projects.

Speaker 7 (09:47):
But that's cool. Yeah, and we're still friends. I just
had a hiccup. Bump here, bump heer, you know what
I mean. Did a couple of cartwheels early in life.
I should have done that.

Speaker 14 (09:56):
But but tonight this weekend, USC you cla big game Saturday.

Speaker 7 (10:02):
What they say seven o'clock seven thirty? When is a
kickoff here? Let me look at this again, seven seven
thirty pm, seven thirty pm, kickoff at the Rose Bowl
at the Rose Bowl being dong with that Rose Bull.
All right, get out there and enjoy that. That's gonna
be a great hopefully a great game, you know, but
there might be it might be sold out. There might

(10:23):
be one hundred thousand people out there. It's gonna be
a beautiful night to hang out there. It's supposed to
rain earlier in the day, but I think it should
be cool by game time.

Speaker 6 (10:32):
All right, when we come back where.

Speaker 7 (10:34):
Our guests there is at four thirty, Yeah, four thirty.
We got a cool guest coming on four thirty. By
the way, Doctor Ray is coming out with us tonight.
Shawn Birch is coming out of this night from the
Rap at four thirty David Vasse to talk about the Dodgers.
When we come back, we will tell you whether Sho
hey o Tani won the MVP unless Croach is gonna

(10:55):
do it in the tease spoiler alert, Yeah, I hope
he doesn't.

Speaker 6 (10:58):
Maybe he does. Is that happening.

Speaker 14 (11:00):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (11:00):
Maybe I don't know. And then Doctor Ray coming on
at six oh five. Lots of show and we're gonna
be in Orange County tomorrow at Wendy's.

Speaker 6 (11:08):
Two three zero two two, Alicia Parkway.

Speaker 5 (11:12):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
AM six forty.

Speaker 7 (11:19):
We have David Vasse coming on with us talk about
the Dodgers and uh, he's great right five point thirty five,
and he's going to be talking mostly about Showe Aotani
Shoe Aotani has won the National League MVP.

Speaker 6 (11:33):
That's a big deal.

Speaker 7 (11:35):
Aaron Judge won it for the American League and shoot
Otani won it for the National League. And he was
in a rehab year, a rehab year, rehabilitating from surgery,
and yet he wins the MVP award.

Speaker 6 (11:57):
That's incredible.

Speaker 7 (11:59):
I mean, I don't know, guy joined the fifty to
fifty club during a rehab year, fifty to fifty, fifty
home runs, fifty stolen bases in a year where he
was trying to get better.

Speaker 6 (12:16):
That's incredible, It's unbelievable. Got kicked ass.

Speaker 7 (12:21):
Talk a little bit about show, ay Otani. Let's see
if this is it here?

Speaker 6 (12:24):
Show Hey Otani. Let's talk a little.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
Bit about show. Hey oton not gonna help.

Speaker 15 (12:29):
The team on the mount.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
Oh.

Speaker 6 (12:30):
I know how I'll get better.

Speaker 16 (12:31):
I'll steal fifty bags this year.

Speaker 6 (12:33):
Great at a level that is almost his stort.

Speaker 9 (12:36):
Can you believe this?

Speaker 17 (12:38):
This is the show that's never end.

Speaker 15 (12:40):
I mean, this guy's hitting calls to parts unknown time.

Speaker 6 (12:45):
Who did you join?

Speaker 9 (12:47):
Tayer so hell Tony start still fifty fifty tib he
is not a human.

Speaker 7 (12:55):
Do you remember when he hit his fortieth home run?
He had forty stolen bases and forty home runs, and
he hit his fortieth home run in really wild fashion.
I believe, if memory serves me right, A walk off
Grand Slam home run, A walk off Grand Slam home
run for his fortieth stle, for his fortieth stolen base

(13:18):
that day, same day, and fortieth home run that's never
been done. Before and that may never happen again ever.
So show you sho aotonic congratulations a MVP right here
for our our Los Angeles Dodgers, dig dong with those Dodgers.

(13:39):
All right, So at five point thirty five, we're gonna
have David, I say, come on, and he'll he'll give
us the scoop.

Speaker 6 (13:46):
What's going on? All right? The Wizard of Oz and
what is that? Wicked?

Speaker 5 (13:50):
Man?

Speaker 6 (13:50):
This thing is unbelievable.

Speaker 7 (13:52):
Every time I turn TV on, I see nine different
advertisements for Wicked. It's all over the place. It into
toy stores, it's in the you know, Target and Walmart,
It's everywhere. It's on billboards. They must they must have
spent I would say north of two hundred million dollars
advertising this movie easily. And man oh man, everyone's talking

(14:18):
about it. And I think it opens this weekend. I
think people are, well, is it this weekend? It's open now? Okay,
only that's right Thursday, Yeah, the Thursday opening.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
Will you go see it?

Speaker 7 (14:28):
You know I went to see the play. I think
I'm all wicked out, wicked out, wicked it out.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
That's pretty good, I have to say, is that right? Yeah?

Speaker 14 (14:35):
I'm irritated. They had to break it up into two movies.

Speaker 6 (14:38):
Wait a minute, this is the first or a second? Yep?

Speaker 14 (14:40):
First first, there's another one next year.

Speaker 6 (14:43):
The second longer than the play.

Speaker 7 (14:46):
Yeah, I went to see the play and I couldn't
hear anything. I'm like one of those old guys going.

Speaker 6 (14:50):
What what what?

Speaker 3 (14:54):
That's hot?

Speaker 6 (14:54):
Yeah? It was pretty hot.

Speaker 7 (14:56):
You know, when you're married to have a kid, you know,
you know, you don't believe to be on much anymore.
But it's not my modeling days. It's between modeling and
my dad days. I'm a tweener right now.

Speaker 14 (15:12):
You're in the middle.

Speaker 7 (15:13):
That's right, that's right. She should have grabbed me when
I was doing Runway.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
Yeah, but weren't you like seven?

Speaker 6 (15:19):
Yeah, I was young. Yeah, I was like, uh, I
think I was.

Speaker 7 (15:22):
Let me see, when I was doing Runway, by the way,
how many of you losers can say that when I
was doing Runway zero.

Speaker 14 (15:31):
Zero zero, I came in second place to be the
next Gerber baby when.

Speaker 6 (15:34):
I was a baby? Is that right?

Speaker 17 (15:36):
Wow?

Speaker 6 (15:37):
Competition or whatever? Who'd you lose out to?

Speaker 9 (15:39):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (15:39):
Is the guy still around like eighty maybe five?

Speaker 14 (15:42):
Now?

Speaker 6 (15:42):
Is he?

Speaker 7 (15:42):
Is he in his fifty early he's in his fifty smoking.
If the iron lung should have kept track of wheelchair,
that's great, Yeah, they should. They should have every year
had a picture of him.

Speaker 6 (15:54):
You know.

Speaker 14 (15:55):
Now you keep it on the brill on the baby bottle. Yeah,
now he's the food bottle. He's living in it, you know,
y m c A smoking a pack at two packs
a day. That's why you were going to be the
national Gerber baby. Apparently, that's what my mom always told me.
And what were you like six months old or so
like that? Wow, man, I have long ride home blaming
another baby.

Speaker 6 (16:20):
We're never gonna get work.

Speaker 9 (16:21):
With this kid.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
Something about this in the back?

Speaker 6 (16:24):
Why do you think he lost?

Speaker 7 (16:25):
Look at the the size of his nog and Ma,
that's crazy man, that that's a big deal to make
the Gerber baby.

Speaker 14 (16:33):
It would have been.

Speaker 7 (16:34):
That's a great title for your book too. Second place
in the Gerber contest almost dismissed.

Speaker 6 (16:44):
That's great, man, all right, Wizard.

Speaker 7 (16:45):
Of Oz taking off belli O has some kind of
connection to it.

Speaker 6 (16:48):
What's your connection to it?

Speaker 13 (16:49):
Again?

Speaker 6 (16:49):
Your mom saw it or something?

Speaker 3 (16:53):
Did my mom saw it?

Speaker 6 (16:54):
Yeah, so you have some kind of connection.

Speaker 12 (16:55):
To und played Glinda on Broadway is not Wicked?

Speaker 3 (17:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (17:01):
What?

Speaker 6 (17:02):
Oh?

Speaker 18 (17:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (17:03):
For how long?

Speaker 3 (17:05):
For a good run?

Speaker 18 (17:06):
Did?

Speaker 6 (17:06):
Wait? Did I see her then in it?

Speaker 3 (17:08):
Remember?

Speaker 12 (17:09):
I asked you, because when you got back, I showed
you a picture. I don't think she was in it
when you saw it.

Speaker 9 (17:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (17:14):
I don't remember a lot of it. My wife and
daughter stayed, but I split at halftime.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
That's called intermission.

Speaker 6 (17:24):
Oh was that right?

Speaker 14 (17:25):
That's not halftime when you leave and go watch a
game for the other half.

Speaker 6 (17:32):
Wait, they don't call it halftime.

Speaker 3 (17:34):
No they don't. They call it intermission.

Speaker 14 (17:36):
Whatever, ladies, you're one of those Broadway snobs.

Speaker 12 (17:40):
Oh yeah, everybody calls it intermission.

Speaker 3 (17:44):
No one calls it halftime. And I'm the snob.

Speaker 6 (17:47):
I was back in the hotel before that. Curtin went up.

Speaker 12 (17:50):
Since you were watching halftime. If you were back in
your hotel, you might have been watching a game.

Speaker 7 (17:55):
Possible, but I don't remember. If that was your I
couldn't tell. I mean, look, I barely see the stage,
so you.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
Don't remember the actors that were in it.

Speaker 7 (18:06):
No, and believe it or not, I didn't save the playbill. Wow,
I know that's tough to believe it is. Yeah, I
don't have him around the house shuffling him around, thaying, oh,
remember this, Remember Oklahoma, Remember I saw I saw the
third I saw you in Oklahoma on your third run.

Speaker 6 (18:23):
I'm not one of those guys.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
Did you see any other plays?

Speaker 6 (18:27):
Yes?

Speaker 7 (18:27):
I went to see Chicago and the song I really
liked in Chicago came in the first half again.

Speaker 6 (18:37):
Gone at halftime you left? Yeah, what it.

Speaker 7 (18:40):
Was all pretty much resolved for me at half time. Yeah,
I saw the actresses, all the actors.

Speaker 14 (18:48):
I just get uncomfortable with the guy dancing in front
of me, you know, I mean he's looking at me.
I'm looking at him, and you know, I don't know what.

Speaker 3 (18:57):
World was close for you.

Speaker 7 (18:59):
Well, I don't know, like twentieth Row or so, but
I don't know another world where that happens.

Speaker 14 (19:03):
He was singling you out with his eyes, and I
don't know, maybe maybe not.

Speaker 6 (19:07):
I like to think so.

Speaker 7 (19:08):
But to go watch another pay to watch another guy
dance is odd.

Speaker 6 (19:13):
It's odd. I'm with you.

Speaker 3 (19:15):
You know they're performing. You're there to see them perform.

Speaker 7 (19:18):
It's not just the guys too, it's the women too.
And like you go there and you and they're dancing.

Speaker 3 (19:23):
Singing, and acting.

Speaker 14 (19:24):
Yeah, that's what Broadways, and they're telling you the story
that you already sort of know.

Speaker 6 (19:31):
I just can't get into it.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
You are the opposite of a snob. You're like a boom.

Speaker 6 (19:42):
The Broadway boom. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
I would go see that.

Speaker 6 (19:46):
And I couldn't follow Hamilton at all.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
Hamilton, are you kidding me at all? You're a history buff.

Speaker 6 (19:53):
I just I kept saying, hey, slow it down, slow down.
I couldn't. The words were too quick. Slow that down, buddy.

Speaker 5 (20:07):

You're on demand from KFI AM six forty.

Speaker 7 (23:18):
Wicked Hamilton, Hamilton, Miss Hamilton. All right, we have a
We're going to get to Sean Birch here from the Wrap,
really cool online website there. It's a big American media
company covering business and entertainment media, and he did a
story to include us, so that was kind of cool.

(23:39):
But before we get to that, the four fives a
mess four or fives a mess.

Speaker 6 (23:43):
Here is the latest.

Speaker 19 (23:45):
This is on the northbound side of the foural five
at Scoball, as you said, and this is a crash
that happened at about four to ten involving that LAPD
motor officer and several other cars, including that blue Tesla
that you see to the left of this scre Now,
I'm not pushing in too much on the officer right
now because he is still being tended to buy the

(24:05):
La City Fire Department, and at this point we do
not know his condition. I was able to quickly see though,
that it is a male officer who looks like is
about to be put into the back of that rescue
ambulance and will of course be off to the hospital.
Ronald Reagan Hospital is our nearest hospital and it's only
a few miles away, so.

Speaker 9 (24:24):
He is most likely headed in that direction.

Speaker 19 (24:27):
Now, this has all lanes of the North Found four
oh five freeway completely shut down.

Speaker 7 (24:33):
Here, Oh boy, all lanes northbound four h five. All
you kids that thought you were getting away early for Thanksgivings.
There's another another story, bigger story here that this cop
got into an accident and probably going to UCLA Ronald
Reagan Hospital.

Speaker 9 (24:50):
In the West LA area.

Speaker 19 (24:52):
And the delays are extensive on this one, and it's
unclear when everything will reopen. But at this point, this
North Found four O five is all the way into
a Culver City, that's.

Speaker 9 (25:03):
Latest from the Supovida Pass and New Shop before I'm
Eleana Brino. Let's head it back down to you in
the studio, Ileana.

Speaker 16 (25:09):
Can you tell us exactly what happened from what you understand?

Speaker 19 (25:12):
From what we understand, Robert, that motor officer was driving
in the carpool lane, and when he got two Scurball
was apparently involved in a multi vehicle collision.

Speaker 9 (25:24):
At this point, it's unclear if he was cut off.

Speaker 19 (25:26):
By one of these other vehicles or if he simply
lost control. But again, this happened about twenty minutes ago,
and it took some time here for the fire department
to be able to stabilize him enough to put him
on the.

Speaker 9 (25:37):
Back of that gurney and get him now to a hospital.

Speaker 16 (25:41):
Illiana, thank you, and as Ileana pulls out and shows
us that shot again. This is the four or five north,
that very busy artery, Annabel, right as the commute has begun,
So best to find alternate ways to get home if
you can.

Speaker 18 (25:55):
Right now.

Speaker 7 (25:56):
Yeah, that's horrible, Angel they said to Culvert city I'm
at and that's probably been extended.

Speaker 11 (26:02):
Oh that's it's already backing up from the ninety so
it's only going to get worse.

Speaker 14 (26:06):
Okay, So that's the Marina del Rey free wind. Yes, yes,
bumper to bumper, no action all the way.

Speaker 3 (26:13):
To Skirball absolutely stopped that whole.

Speaker 6 (26:17):
Stretch and supulvited.

Speaker 11 (26:18):
Probably is a mess too, then, Oh yeah, a lot
of people already bailed off to Supulvota Boulevard and that's
just absolutely loaded also, and.

Speaker 6 (26:26):
You know what builds up to the.

Speaker 3 (26:27):
Canyons, Oh, the canyon roads.

Speaker 6 (26:30):
Let's get those quickly, cold water. Yeah, gottle pilot.

Speaker 3 (26:35):
So far they're not too bad.

Speaker 11 (26:36):
But now people have word that the four or five
has closed. You know they're heading over there.

Speaker 7 (26:41):
Yeah, absolutely, all right, Angel, thank you, Well, keep on
top of that breaking story. The four or five northbound
closed at Skirball Is that right, Angel, closed at Skirball.

Speaker 11 (26:53):
Yes, right at Squirball Center. And I just took a
look at Supulvota Boulevard that's just stopped from Wills Boulevard.

Speaker 7 (27:01):
Okay, that this is going to add another hour or
two to people's commute easily, easily.

Speaker 6 (27:06):
All right, we'll stay with.

Speaker 7 (27:07):
Us, We'll stay with you, So calm down, we'll all
get through this together. I know you're listening to KFI,
you're in your car, you're on the four or five,
and a lot of people are using the F word.
Guess who also is using the F word? The officer
guy got hit. Yeah, he's throwing that thing around too,
because he's you know, damaged and badly shaken up there,

(27:28):
so we'll keep you give you up an update on
the officer and also the traffic as well.

Speaker 6 (27:31):
All right, let's talk to us. Sean Birch here. Sean,
you're on KFI? How you bub?

Speaker 18 (27:37):
I am doing great, and I just want to say,
is a former Petro some Money intern? I am honored
to be on the Conway Show right.

Speaker 6 (27:43):
Now, Buddy.

Speaker 7 (27:44):
I was just told that you were a member of
that show. And I love Petro Some Money. I've always
told management here if I was starting a brand new station,
I would start with Petros and Money.

Speaker 18 (27:56):
I can't argue with you, obviously I'm biased, but it
is great sports talk, and I got to say to
Conway Show is not too shabby either.

Speaker 9 (28:03):
You're the best.

Speaker 18 (28:04):
If I can get my shout out, Glenn, biggest fan
in Orange County.

Speaker 6 (28:07):
Oh that's great man. All right?

Speaker 7 (28:08):
So the Rap is A is becoming a really big organization.
And I remember it wasn't it Sharon Waxman that started out?

Speaker 6 (28:15):
Or is she still involved?

Speaker 18 (28:17):
Yep? Sharon's my boss and she's still running the joint.

Speaker 6 (28:21):
Okay, and how long has the rap been around?

Speaker 18 (28:24):
We started in two thousand and nine. I've been there
for about four years now. I was there for about
three or four years, took a break and then I
came back a few months ago.

Speaker 7 (28:34):
But a lot of breaking news on the rap. You know,
it used to be a two publication town. It was
Variety and it was the Hollywood Report Reporter. And now
you know, with online, you guys have made a pretty
good name for yourself.

Speaker 18 (28:49):
I'd say, so we're definitely the independent Hollywood trade that
if you want to go to an outlet that isn't Pennscam,
isn't a Hollywood Reporter, a Variety right the place to
be for you.

Speaker 6 (29:01):
Yeah, and that's cool.

Speaker 7 (29:02):
So you did an article on Jay Leno. Did you
just happen to be listening or did were you listening
to the podcast?

Speaker 18 (29:10):
What happened was is I saw you shared the clip
on X the night before. Why I was going to
sleep and when I woke up the next day, even
though normally I cover like tech and more business news,
I said to my others, I was like, we have
to cover this. They got this new interview with Leno.
This is a great story and everyone was on board.

Speaker 7 (29:29):
Buddy, you are the best. You're welcome to come on
any time. I hope they're paying you over there. You're
not interning anymore, right.

Speaker 18 (29:37):
I'm making it in terms of media salaries, you know,
no one's ever too excited of those. But I'm doing
just fine.

Speaker 6 (29:42):
Excellent.

Speaker 7 (29:43):
Tell Sharon I'm a big fan and I we'd love
to have you on next time, coming studio.

Speaker 6 (29:48):
I'd love to all right, so much, thanks buddy, you're
the best.

Speaker 7 (29:51):
Sean Birch with the rap, Go see the rap. That's
a great publication.

Speaker 14 (29:56):
You know a lot of these, you know, the Hollywood
Reporter and v they're great, but they're sort of really inside,
and celebrities get pissed off when Hollywood Reporter or Variety
does anything, you know, off color negative, and so they
try not to do that.

Speaker 7 (30:13):
It's like that, Oh, let's go to Channel four and
watch this. This is the ambulance taking this officer. Oh no,
they're already gone, but the officer is on his way
I believe to Reagan Ronald Reagan Hospital at UCLA, and.

Speaker 3 (30:26):
He's actually trying to get to the officer.

Speaker 6 (30:28):
Oh really, they're trying to get to the officer.

Speaker 11 (30:31):
Oh no, he's heading up to pulvtor right now because
he can't go up the freeway.

Speaker 6 (30:36):
Oh I see.

Speaker 7 (30:37):
Oh I thought they already had him stabilized and off
to the hospital.

Speaker 6 (30:41):
Oh wow, that's horrible.

Speaker 7 (30:43):
All right, or we're gonna take a break, We're gonna
come back with more of the story. This is a
big story in Los Angeles. It is the four or
five north bound. It is completely shut down. It's closed.
You've got to find an alternate route. If you're going
up to Venturi, you may want to go pch There's
a lot of canyons involved that you can go through
the canyons and it will get horrible right now, according

(31:06):
to Angel, but you know she lies. And also the
one oh one, the one on one. You can take
the one oh one. I bet that's wide open. Angel's
wide open on the one on one. There's like nobody
on It's like Christmas morning.

Speaker 3 (31:17):
Yeah, it's like Christmas morning. No, it's solid.

Speaker 7 (31:21):
Come on, all right, all right, there's no way to
get out of town. Everything's jammed. But look, this officer
is it needs some help right now. So let's keep
our concentration on getting this guy better and then hopefully
open up those freeways in the next hour or so.
What do you think, Angel, What was HP telling you anything.

Speaker 11 (31:40):
Well, I am checking in with them right now, but
I think that they're trying to get some lanes open
as we speak now that they've you know, got the
officer ready to transport, they're just waiting for the ambulance
to get up there. And I just heard from one
of my producers and we're double checking on this that
there might be two lanes open currently.

Speaker 7 (32:00):
So okay, all before we go to break, let me
play this real quick, because this is huge breaking news.

Speaker 6 (32:06):
There's a lot of people involved in.

Speaker 15 (32:07):
Tracking that ambulance with the LAPD Motorcycle Unit officer inside
as he is being escorted by a group of at
least six LAPD units, likely over to Ronald Reagan UCLA
Medical Center. Just getting off the four oh five now
at Willship Boulevard, involved in a serious crash on the
northbound side of the four o five just moments ago
at Skirball Center Drive. We're going to keep you posted

(32:28):
on the condition of this officer in the meantime, take
a look at the four oh five. Traffic on the
northbound side of the four oh five is now backed
up all the way down to Anglewood pretty much as
you make your way northbound through West LA. It is
a traffic nightmare during this rush hour. You could see
traffic in both directions pretty heavy through West La here,
but especially as you make your way through this pulvid

(32:50):
Of Pass. It will be shut down completely for a
major investigation. Reporting live FROMIRE seven. I'm Chris Christy, ABC seven.
I witness knew that.

Speaker 7 (32:58):
You know, I grew up in the San Fernando Valley.
This is a real insult to the San Fernando Valley.
The northbound freeway is closed, so when the ambulance gets there,
they could get to Encino Hospital in four minutes. They
could get to Sherman Oaks, you know, Providencia, they could
get to Holy Cross. They can get to all of these,
you know, Saint Joe's in about nine minutes because all
that traffic is stopped. There's no traffic on the northbound

(33:20):
four oh five from that accident. They could literally get
to Encino Hospital in probably five minutes with lights and sirens.

Speaker 6 (33:27):
Code three. I call that bella. That's code three police language.

Speaker 7 (33:30):
And no, they're going to turn around and fight traffic
to get to Ronald Reagan Hospital.

Speaker 6 (33:36):
Tells me two things.

Speaker 7 (33:37):
One, it's a serious injury and that maybe, you know,
the Valley hospitals are ill prepared to handle and they
have to go to Ronald Reagan to attend to this guy,
to tend to this guy. So whether he's in shock,
whether he's severely injured, when you go to Ronald Reagan,
that's top shelf, top shelf, Ronald Reagan Theater, Cedar Sinai,

(34:03):
Saint Jose in Santa Monica, top shelf. And so that
means that there's something serious going on here. We're live
on KFI. We're gonna keep following this story. One of
the four or five closed at Scroveball Center.

Speaker 1 (34:18):

KFI AM six forty.

Speaker 7 (37:28):
Doctor Ray's coming on with us Doctor Rakers Sherry at
six o'clock.

Speaker 6 (37:32):
I believe six oh five.

Speaker 7 (37:35):
David As five thirty five, talked by the Dodgers show
Aotani MVP. No, uh, surprise there. But the big story
is the traffic Angel Martinez, there's an accident with an
officer on the four h five North.

Speaker 6 (37:48):
You said they're opening up two lanes.

Speaker 11 (37:50):
Yes, I'm about maybe fifteen minutes ago. Ten minutes ago,
highway patrol said that they'll be blocking off the carpool
and the two.

Speaker 3 (37:58):
Actually now they've just up to the three left lanes.

Speaker 11 (38:01):
So I also looked at Alert California has a camera
that looks at the Supulvita Pass, and traffic actually looked
like it was moving. So cars are squeezing by somehow,
maybe just in the right lane and off to the
right shoulder, but cars are getting through. That's on that
four or five northbound coming up at Skirball Center, and

(38:22):
Mike's on his way to go check it out there
pretty soon.

Speaker 7 (38:26):
Yeah, you hope that they're just really cautious with the
officer that went down and then he's going to be okay.
But man, oh man, on a Thursday at four o'clock.
I can't imagine a worse time for that to happen.

Speaker 11 (38:39):
Oh, it's awful. Yes, before then idea, I was just
going to say. One of our producers just said that
it's the two right lanes that are open, So that's
why traffic is starting to move nicely. And tulaser backing
up out of Culver City from just about the ninety

(39:01):
just ninety.

Speaker 7 (39:02):
The people that are in the first couple of lines there,
they can literally go to Palmdale with no problem.

Speaker 3 (39:08):
Oh.

Speaker 11 (39:08):
Absolutely, put the pedal to the metal once you pass
you know, the scene here not really, but you know
you could.

Speaker 7 (39:15):
Yeah, you're gonna fly at least for aw yeah, yeah,
all right. We're gonna have updates on that all night
long here, at least until that gets back to normal.
Four or five northbound Angel What time did you say
that happened? A little bit after four ten? After four?

Speaker 3 (39:28):
Yes, yes, it happened.

Speaker 11 (39:30):
It was reported at four to oh nine, and then
they had all lanes shut down there, oh geez. First
maybe at about four thirty, right around there, four thirty
they held all lanes for a little bit. Okay, Now
it's the carpool and two left, and as far as
the traffic goes, the flow of traffic once you passed

(39:50):
the scene of this wreck, you still have a slow
drive ahead of you, so don't get too excited.

Speaker 3 (39:55):
Through, Yeah, Sherman Oaks I into. Yeah, it's pretty heavy.

Speaker 11 (40:00):
It's not as bad as it usually is, but it's
pretty heavy ahead all the way to the five merge.

Speaker 7 (40:04):
All right, Okay, we will keep an eye on this.
The four or five northbound closed right there in the
in the past at scirvation.

Speaker 3 (40:13):
It's the lanes you're light.

Speaker 7 (40:14):
Right, lanes are open. I'm sorry you, Right, lanes are open.
And now people are squeezing by. But that traffic goes
all the way back I imagine to the airport.

Speaker 6 (40:22):
Is that safe? The same?

Speaker 3 (40:24):
Pretty close?

Speaker 11 (40:25):
I'm calling it the ninety okay, yeah, just the south
end of Culver City, right there at the Marinaway.

Speaker 2 (40:32):
Bye.
