Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on DEMYA from KFI
AM six forty am six morning.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
It is The Conway Show. OJ Simpson is back in
the news. He's not with us anymore, but his belongings
are and a Bible belonging to OJ Simpson. That seems
odd that that chap would own a Bible, but he did.
He had a Bible and it's being sold at auction,

(00:31):
like all good bibles should be. You know, once a
guy dies, let's make money off his Bible. And that's
what's happening here. But I think that he probably scratched
out some passages on how to treat others. Maybe that's possible.
Let's find out what OJ Simpson what they got for

(00:51):
OJ Simpson's Bible.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
A Bible belonging to OJ Simpson is sold in an
online auction for eighty thousand dollars.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Wow, eighty grand for O J's Bible.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
Eight.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Well, what kind of brag is that? And would that
be something you showed people when they came over, like, oh,
here's the kids room, here's our playroom, here's the kitchen.
Oh that's O. J. Simpson's Bible. Yeah, I paid eighty
grand for it. Can't you tell that it's never been used? Hey,
where are you guys going? Where are you going? Oh Jay?

(01:26):
I don't know how you tell people? And would you
have it on display? You know, if you paid eighty
grand for you can't just stick it in a drawer somewhere.
You'd have to have it under plexiglass. That's O. J.
Simpson's Bible. Wow.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Eighty thousand dollars. Golden auctions did not reveal the name
of the buyer. The Living Bible was gifted to Simpson
to buy his friend and attorney, Robert Kardashian, with a
personal inscription. It stated the day after Simpson was charged
in the nineteen ninety four murders of his ex wife,
Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
It is inscribed on Kardashian signed it. I think he
wrote You're gonna need this.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
According to People magazine, Kim Kardashian had offered fifteen thousand
dollars for the Bible before the auction, but the offer
was turned down.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Yeah, well, they got eighty thousand dollars for it. Eighty
grand for Oh Jay's Bible? All right? Santa Clarita, the
newest victim of neighborhood crime. Yep, our neighborhood's on edge.
In Santa Clarita home burglaride.

Speaker 5 (02:28):
Two brazen burglars climbed through an unlocked side window of
a Valencia home as a dog barks in the background.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Here we go, it's on again. It was, it was
never off, but it's on again in Santa Clarita. This time.

Speaker 6 (02:40):
The first thief.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
Immediately spots this indoor pet can and flips it over.

Speaker 7 (02:49):
They started going in, ransacking the front, the living room first,
then they ran upstairs.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
And did they get the safe? Everybody's got it safe nowadays.
Did they get the safe?

Speaker 7 (03:00):
Back to my room, my daughter's room, my son's room,
But mainly the mess was in my room and my bathroom.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
That's where this victim, who wants to stay anonymous, says
they briefly missed a camera set up for her two cats.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Oh okay, so there's footage of these Rhodes scholars. Let's
find out what they took. I'm guessing there was a
safe involved. There's always a safe involved.

Speaker 7 (03:21):
They don't know what they were doing. They were just
rushing in. They're one of the guys I heard in
Spanish say.

Speaker 6 (03:26):
Take it easy, slow it down to it slowly. How
do they know they have time?

Speaker 5 (03:38):
It happened in the West Creek neighborhood on Friday around
one thirty pm. An outdoor camera shows one of the
thieves holding what appears to be a takeout bag at
the front door, making sure no one was home beforehand.

Speaker 6 (03:48):
Once they were in, they didn't waste any time.

Speaker 7 (03:50):
They went through my fire safety metal box. I have
two of them, and they ransacked that day.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
And I think that's what it's safe.

Speaker 6 (03:57):
Is they went through my fire safety metal.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
That's a safe. Yeah, they got the safe. Man, every
one of these burglars, they know who has a safe
and who doesn't. They always get the safe or in
this case a metal resistance box, metal resistance lock box. Yeah,
it's a safe.

Speaker 7 (04:16):
They went through my fire safety metal box. I have
two of them and they ransacked that. They entered my
son's room, they took his PS four. Ah, they entered
my daughter's room. They took her a Nintendo switch. My
jewelry was all over the sink, all over the floor,
everything from the cabinets out on the floor.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
That's sort of an insult, right where they don't take
the jewelry. They sort of give it a one. Yeah,
this doesn't look like we could move this stuff.

Speaker 6 (04:42):
They terrified my animals.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
They took the video game player, but not the jewelry.
That is an insult.

Speaker 6 (04:48):
They terrified my animals too.

Speaker 5 (04:50):
Thankfully, the two dogs and two cats weren't hurt, but
the family and the neighborhood is shaken.

Speaker 6 (04:55):
It's very upsetting. I talked to the neighbors. They were
upset to They couldn't believe that.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
That was happening. Yeah, that's a safe area. I'd be
upset too. Santa Clarita a very, very safe neighborhood.

Speaker 5 (05:06):
After ransacking the house and breaking the garage door frame,
the duo casually strolls out the front door, loot in hand.
The victim wants them off the streets.

Speaker 6 (05:15):
I don't understand what makes them think that that's okay.

Speaker 8 (05:17):
Now.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
This may not be the only Yeah, I'm with her
on that. I'm with her one hundred percent here.

Speaker 6 (05:21):
I don't understand what makes them think that that's okay.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Yeah, I get it. I think most of society is
with her, But there's a part of society that wants
to get everything now. They want it now.

Speaker 6 (05:31):
I don't understand what makes them think that that's okay. Now,
this may not be the only one.

Speaker 5 (05:35):
There are other videos that were posted online showing a
similar attempted burglary in another residential community in Santa Clarita,
just a few miles away, and there's a lot of
similarities between the suspects in.

Speaker 6 (05:46):
That case and in this case.

Speaker 5 (05:48):
So if you live in the area, good idea to
check your cameras, check all of them, see if there's
anything that might help police or the sheriff's department, excuse me,
in their investigation.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
Yeah, it's tough out there. They keep saying crime is down,
crime aza down, nobody's doing anything, nobody's getting burglarized. And
then every single day we have another story about a
restaurant being broken into, cars being broken into, or this case,
we have a lot of these homes being broken into.
And to go through your kids the kid's stuff is outrageous.

(06:20):
You know, if you're breaking to a home, you know,
if you had kids, you would probably leave the daughter
and the son's room alone. Give them a little peace
of mind that you know, you're not going to take
their Xbox or whatever game unit they've got going on.
It's that's like an old time low. When you go
into the kid's room, it's obviously a kid's room. Well,

(06:42):
you could walk in any room in any house and go, oh,
that's a kid's room, and if you had kids, you'd
leave it alone. You know, there's there's probably an unwritten
rule that when you rob a house, leave the kids
alone and their stuff and their room. But it's a
different time, different time, and it's crazy. It's crazy out there.

Speaker 4 (07:05):
You know.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
When kids are going to bed and they're young, they
always think there's a monster under the bed, and you
always have to give it sort of a cursory look
and like, no, there's nothing underneath. You know, you're gonna
be okay, except it may not be okay.

Speaker 9 (07:22):
A young child proves to his babysitter that sometimes monsters
are indeed hiding under the bed. While watching children at
a Grand Ben, Kansas home, March twenty fourth, a babysitter
made a chilling discovery when she found a man later
identified by the local Sheriff's office as twenty seven year
old Martin via Lobos Junior, hiding under a child's bed.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
Hiding under the kid's bed.

Speaker 9 (07:45):
According to a statement shared by Barton County Sheriff's Office
on Facebook March twenty sixth. The young woman found Via
Lobos after one of the children in her care complained
of quote monsters, and she attempted to show the child
there was nothing under the bed.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
How about that first I contact when you look under
the bed and there's somebody staring at you.

Speaker 9 (08:03):
However, the young woman stood corrected. The Facebook statement explains
she came face to face with a male suspect who
was hiding there. An altercation ensued with the babysitter, and
one child was knocked over in the struggle. The suspect
then fled the scene before deputies arrived. The Sheriff's office
says the babysitter was able to identify the perpetrator as
via Lobos. Per the Barton County Sheriff's statement, he had

(08:25):
once lived at the residence before a protection order from
abuse required he stay away from the property. Authorities arrived
at the home around ten thirty pm local time. While
they looked for va Lobos in the area, they could
not initially find him. He was seen by law enforcement
the following morning and attempted to flee on foot. Per
the police, he was captured after a short foot pursuit.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
There you go, wonder why this guy at a restraining
order against him.

Speaker 9 (08:47):
The Yelobos was arrested and booked at Barton County Jail,
where he was charged with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated burglary, aggravated battery,
child endangerment, felony, obstruction of a law enforcement officer, and
violation of a protection from abuse order. Per the sheriff's statement.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Now they're going to throw the book at you up,
but you know it's not la. You do this in
other communities, they throw a lot of charges on you.

Speaker 9 (09:10):
He is being held on a five hundred thousand dollars bond,
according to a warrant from the Barton County District Court.
Via Lobos was arrested earlier this month, on March fourteenth,
for quote violation of protection order. His bond was set
at twenty five hundred dollars. E News has reached out
to the Barton County Sheriff's office for comment and attempted
to locate legal representation for via Lobos.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
All right, well, I don't know what we're doing as
a society gang. Where are you breaking in and taking
the kid's stuff and then hiding under the kid's beds.
There's a lot of nuts out there, a lot of weirdos,
and they're everywhere. You know. They're in small communities in
the Midwest, and they're in Santa Clarita, Woodland Hills, they're
all over the place, Hollywood, West Hollywood, they're everywhere. You

(09:54):
got to be careful. And the only saving grace is
there's too many of us. There's too many people out there.
We can't all get worked by these guys. There's not
enough of them, so the chance of you getting robbed
are pretty slim. But everybody that got robbed thought that
exact same thing the night they got robbed or home invaded.

(10:14):
So I don't know. I don't know what the answer is,
but it's got to change. We can't live like this.
We can't do it. We can't raise kids like this
where you know, you have to check under their bed
to see if there's a guy, you know, there's a
suspect under the bed. And now I guarantee you parents
tonight will be checking under their kids' beds all over

(10:37):
America when they hear this story. You might do it tonight.
If you have young kids look under the bed. Why
wouldn't you? Nowadays you have to. Oh it's crazy, nutty,
it's crazy out there, and we bring it to you
every night right here on KFI. It's Conway Show, KFI
AM six forty. It's Conway Show, the Golden Mics for
this past weekend. That's where they give awards to people

(10:58):
in local news. And I've thought Tim Kates was a lock.
I thought Tim Kates, who produces Petros Money, does Dodgers UCLA.
I think he does the Raiders as well Clippers, and
he's great. And I thought he was a lock. And
I told him he should go, you know, spend the
seventy bucks, go eat a meal and drink and enjoy it.

Speaker 10 (11:18):
And he was told by people who would know even
more than us that he was a lock.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
Yeah, that's right, he was not a lock. He lost.
He lost to somebody from Santa Barbara. No way, good
for the Santa Barbara. Yeah, oh yeah, No, I think
it's great. Who did a story on the Cowboys returning
to I guess cam Rio or Ventura for their Oxnart
spring training ox Nart for the spring training.

Speaker 11 (11:43):
They've only been doing that like forty years.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
Yeah, every year they do that, and so he lost
to that. Yes, that's horrible.

Speaker 11 (11:51):
That seems a little weird.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
And I knew that he lost because I said, hey,
did you win? And he slammed the door in my face.

Speaker 6 (11:59):
He took a hard Huh.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Yes, yeah he did. He said that if he if
he had paid for tickets and went with his wife
and sat there and lost, that there would have been
two people arrested in Burbank that night.

Speaker 11 (12:17):
No, tickets ain't cheap. So I get it.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
Yeah, comedian Paul Rodriguez who got arrested in Burbank and
Tim kits both of them.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
Paul.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
So, comedian Paul Rodriguez got arrested in Burbank. What's going on?
What happened in Burbank with this guy? Well, let's find out.
Paul Rodriguez is a very funny man. Let's find out
what happened.

Speaker 12 (12:37):
Here we are hearing from the lawyer representing actor and
comedian Paul Rodriguez after his arrest in Burbank last night.
Police say they were conducting a traffic stop around seven
point thirty when they found drugs. During their investigation. Rodriguez
was a passenger in the car. His lawyer Bobby Semini
says Rodriguez fully cooperated at old times.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
Actually, his lawyer sounds like a comedian's name.

Speaker 12 (12:57):
His lawyer, Bobby Semini, selling.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
Guest and a comedian's name. Hey, ladies and gentlemen, putting
your hands together.

Speaker 12 (13:02):
For Bobby Semini.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Bobby Semini.

Speaker 12 (13:05):
Bobby Samini says Rodriguez fully cooperated at all times, did
not have any controlled substances in his possession, and was
not under the influence. He says the arrest and the
treatment by officers violated Rodriguez his civil rights and that
he looks forward to proving his innocence.

Speaker 10 (13:23):
That definitely sounds like there's more to the story. I mean,
why would they search him or have it? Yeah, those
too if he's the passenger, it was on the driver
didn't have anything.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
I heard that Paul Rodriguez was sleeping in the car,
all right, And I don't know, I don't know. It's
got to be more to that story. But I was
driving over the weekend and I saw it. I was
about to drive through one of those sobriety checkpoints, and
this drive through, I noticed it. It was like a
block and a half ahead of me, and I wasn't

(13:53):
drinking or anything. I just want to deal with it.
And so I made a turn into it. Do you
know I went into a parking lot and then went
out the back of the parking lot.

Speaker 11 (14:01):
I'm sure that always worked.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
Didn't buz around? Yeah they didn't. They didn't follow. Yeah, No,
but I saw it far enough ahead where I could
slide in. There was a McDonald to the sports store there,
and I slid in there and whipped around it.

Speaker 11 (14:13):
Yeah, because you don't even want to be hassled by
it when you see it.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
No, I wasn't drinking or you know, I wasn't doing
anything wrong. I just didn't want I just don't want to, like,
you know, have to put on the you know, the
happy face, and you know.

Speaker 11 (14:26):
I don't want to be social. And I'm going through
them things.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
Yes, I still get nervous walk going through.

Speaker 10 (14:31):
Those having done absolutely nothing. You're still kind of nervous.

Speaker 13 (14:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
I told a friend of mine who lives in Encino
and he never ever drinks and drives. He's a he's
a dad, he's a terrific dad. He's got a couple
of kids. And I said to him, this is like
ten years ago before our program director told me to
stop doing this. I used to give away the locations
of the of the sobriety checkpoints because they used to

(14:57):
have to make them public. They'd have to make them
public a week before they did him. So I'd give
out the locations on the air, and the cops didn't mind.
They said, oh, you know, that's fine. Let's you know,
people know that we're out there doing this, and I
think it's a public service.

Speaker 10 (15:08):
We used to the same thing of the new room.
We get emails from people, why are you telling people
where they're at?

Speaker 2 (15:12):
But the cops never can They cops never complained, right,
you know, yeah, people on behalf of the cops try
to complain.

Speaker 11 (15:18):
He's like, what are you doing? You tell them where
they're at?

Speaker 2 (15:20):
Yeah, But the cops theory was good, let them know
we're out there doing this, you know, and maybe they'll
drive sober.

Speaker 11 (15:26):
What's the point of it is to catch them or
to prevent them?

Speaker 2 (15:28):
Right? So I told I called. I didn't text or email.
I called my buddy and I said, hey, they were
doing a sobriety checkpoint at the corner of your street
on Saturday night, just to let you know. And he
goes Tim, I find that very insulting that you're calling
me to tell me don't drink and drive near my
house on Saturday night. And I said, I'm just telling

(15:50):
you you the checkpoint there if anybody in your neighborhood
gets a little squirrely on weekends, just to let them
know that's not the way to go home.

Speaker 11 (15:57):
Stay home.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
Yeah, stay home. Yeah, don't go out.

Speaker 11 (15:59):
Don't move.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
That's another thing the cops said. You know, if the cops,
if they knew there's a bunch of sobriety checkpoints in
the valley, maybe people stay home.

Speaker 11 (16:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (16:06):
If you hear that there's one, chances are you're going
to assume there's probably more than one out there.

Speaker 11 (16:10):
Exactly, I shouldn't go anywhere.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
Exactly, right. So I told him that. I called him,
and then I text him on Saturday morning and I said, hey, buddy,
I know you're going to hate this, but that checkpoint's
on your corner tonight, and he wrote back, f you.
Then he calls me at seven thirty that night he was, Buddy,
you're not going to believe this. I had a glass

(16:32):
of wine at my dad's and now I'm stuck in
this checkpoint, and you know, they pulled up to the
checkpoint and they said, yeah, I had need drink and
he said no, and they said, oh no, wait, I
guess yes, I did have a glass of wine at
dinner at my dad's house. Oh, I pull it over
and they give him the whole test. I said, buddy,
I told you on Monday they're going to do that,

(16:55):
and I told you again Saturday morning, they're going to
do that. He goes, yeah, I just sort of ignored
you and in the you know, in the call, pay
attention to anything you say to Yeah, and he got
caught up in it. Yeah, you know, and he wasn't arrested.
He didn't have a you know, enough to drink. But
I think he got lucky. I think he got lucky.

Speaker 11 (17:11):
But they a lot of times they don't.

Speaker 10 (17:13):
You don't have to be over the limit to get
a ticket for or get arrested for, do you why No?

Speaker 2 (17:18):
And And if you had a glass of wine and
somebody plows into you, you can get arrested for having it,
for having alcohol in your system and being involved in accident. Yeah,
regardless of the level of alcohol in your system, and
regardless of whose fault it wash. So it's it's not
a good idea. I'm not preaching. I'm just saying, you.

Speaker 11 (17:35):
Know, right, right for your own Uh, that's right, don't
do it.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
Yeah, Look the laws in California were made for your protection.
So Obama about that, well done, thank you. I appreciate that.
But I went through there was one the laziest guys
in the world were out there on Woodenet I think
it was wooden ed Curd de Soto and I was
driving home one night after looking at going to CarMax

(18:02):
and looking for a new car, and I drove through
a sobriety checkpoint and it was literally right outside the
Highway patrol office. These guys are so lazy. They did
it right in front of their office. No, they didn't
drive down the street or anything. It was literally they
walked out of their out of their station and just
blocked the street.

Speaker 11 (18:19):
All right, guys, we'll meet you over to the place.

Speaker 8 (18:21):
Good.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
And I guess they have to stop every third you know,
you can't racially profile or stare at you know, you
can't profile anybody. You have to stop. And in that
case it was every third car and I was the
third car. So he stops being his license. I showed
my license and he says, he says, if you had
anything to drink? And I said, no, sir, I have not.

(18:42):
And he looked at me, looked in my eyes and
looked at me again, and then gave me my license
back and said ding dong. No I didn't didn't say.
He said go ahead, and I and I split. But
I did see a guy arguing with the cops. I'm
not giving you the ID, I might give you my license.
I'm like, oh, why do you make your life complicated

(19:03):
like that? You know, right now, that's just gonna be
a whole night for you. We just all rolled up, except.

Speaker 4 (19:10):
For a little cracking there.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
Just thought. I don't know why people put themselves through that.
It's so much easier to just show the license and
move on. You know, your your whole life gets caught
up with that. I get it, but it's it's a lot.
It's a busy night, like the old.

Speaker 11 (19:25):
Carling bit, you know, it's like, hey, will you let
me go? I got a truck full of Harold. Come on, man,
I got places to go.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
That's right, alright, relyve on kf I.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
AM six forty.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
Kf I AM sixty Conway Show. We're all very excited
that Richie has won a Golden Mic or two? Did
you get two? Yes? Two Golden Mics? Wow? And that
was a big award show that you went to on Saturday. Yeah,
it was super fun. Did you dress up for then?

Speaker 13 (19:59):
I sure did?

Speaker 2 (20:00):
Were your mom and dad impressed?

Speaker 13 (20:02):
Mom more than Dada?

Speaker 2 (20:04):
Didn't care?

Speaker 14 (20:04):
No.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 14 (20:05):
If it was a trophy for a lot, I don't know,
horseback riding or something, he would die.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
Right. I think your dad knows that you know your
dad's in Palmdale.

Speaker 11 (20:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:15):
I think the words gotten even out to Palmdale, that
those awards so mean much.

Speaker 13 (20:19):
True, true, true, true.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
But I'm glad that you won.

Speaker 11 (20:23):
Thank you. I appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (20:25):
You deserve it, I know. And you went out and
partied afterwards. Did you give a speech when you won? No? No,
it's not like that. No, what is it like?

Speaker 14 (20:33):
They just announce the winner, you go up, grab your trophy, snap,
snap some photos, and then you go back to your
seat and win some more awards.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
Did people applaud you?

Speaker 13 (20:44):
Yeah for the most part.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
That's did you recognize anybody there, like Colleen Williams.

Speaker 11 (20:49):
I did, And I.

Speaker 14 (20:50):
Was sharing with Bellio earlier that it's funny when you
know you work in the field and stuff like that.
You there's so many people, right and you know you
don't know everyone per se. But for me, you know,
working for your show, I'm constantly looking at the news
seeing what's happening, you know, so I can get you
the most juiciest studio clips, you know. And then I

(21:11):
when I was there, you know, I was able to
recognize their faces and be like, Okay, I know her
or I know him, So that was kind of cool.

Speaker 2 (21:18):
Se go ahead, who cleaned up?

Speaker 13 (21:21):
Steve Gregory?

Speaker 2 (21:22):
No, I meant after the Awards show, Oh okay, I thought,
like the wards, I have no idea. So Steve one, well,
yeah he won like a few Wou'd you.

Speaker 11 (21:30):
Fanboy over anybody I did?

Speaker 14 (21:34):
But I don't want to say their name, you know?
Oh really no, because I would crush.

Speaker 2 (21:39):
On on a I don't know what news reporter or anchor, reporter, reporter,
what channel?

Speaker 13 (21:47):
Kate's la?

Speaker 2 (21:49):
Really?

Speaker 8 (21:50):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (21:51):
Can I say who it is off the air?

Speaker 13 (21:52):
You can go ahead and say it off the air?

Speaker 2 (21:55):
Can I say it on the air.

Speaker 13 (21:56):
You can do whatever you want. It's your show.

Speaker 2 (22:00):
I'll give you a tip morning guy or at late night,
afternoon evening. Oh, Glenn Walker?

Speaker 11 (22:09):
Is it?

Speaker 2 (22:09):
Glenn Walker? The silence is speaking right now. You got
a crush on Glenn Walker. Oh that's wild man. I
gotta tell him. I'm friends with him. I'm gonna text
him right now. I think he's married, but he's still
might find it flattering. Text him. Let's see if we
get a response. Let's see Glenn Walker. All right, Glenn Walker,

(22:32):
our producer, our producer Richie went to the Golden Mics
on Saturday night and he has a crush on you.
Any response question mark? Okay, Glenn is very handsome. So yeah,
our producer Richie went to the Golden Mics on Saturday
night and he has a crush on you. Any response, Okay,

(22:54):
Let's see what comes back. I so, did you get
dressed up for this thing?

Speaker 11 (22:59):
I did.

Speaker 14 (23:00):
I wore a black suit, white undershirt. My mom told
me to wear a black tie. I was going for
a bow tie, but she's like, nah, you won you
wear long tie.

Speaker 2 (23:10):
A long time? Yeah all right? And you wore an undershirt, yeah,
like a white button a you know, simple classic and
where was the after party?

Speaker 14 (23:22):
The after party was thrown at this place called Roosterfish
who they have a really dope bar in Venice, but
they just recently opened a new spot in West Hollywood
where the old Pump restaurant used to be at, which
I've never been, but it looks fancy from outside.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
From the TV show. Yeah the Pump.

Speaker 13 (23:40):
Bellio can give some lowdown on that.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
She loves, Yeah, the vander Pump, Vander Pump.

Speaker 10 (23:44):
Yeah, is that where you were canodling with Glenn in
the corner?

Speaker 13 (23:48):

Speaker 2 (23:49):
Did did you see Glenn at the after party? No
comm Did you see him at the park at the
award show?

Speaker 13 (23:54):

Speaker 2 (23:55):
No comment. I don't know if he's your type, though,
I mean, did you have any contact with him? No
comment gets I think he's gonna want to comment.

Speaker 11 (24:10):
No comment is what gets us.

Speaker 9 (24:12):
Yeah, he's gonna want to com you did not see him?

Speaker 6 (24:18):
Okay, let's make.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
That very Thanks for clarifying.

Speaker 6 (24:21):
Sorry, I'm telling you.

Speaker 2 (24:23):
I go okay.

Speaker 4 (24:26):
I don't like that too. I love it.

Speaker 2 (24:28):
I love it. Belly let the let the fishing line
out for a while and then said no, no, no,
no comment. This is where hr lawsuits and you know,
defamation and all this crap gets involved. All right, So
you did not see For the record, you did not
see Glenn Walker there. I did not, but it was
somebody else on ktl A no comment.

Speaker 13 (24:52):
He did not with anybody, okay, other than my friends.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
Did you was? Were there a lot of golden mic
winners at the after party? No, it's just one, just you.

Speaker 13 (25:03):
Yeah, I needed the whole you know, attention to myself.

Speaker 11 (25:06):
Who looks with them in your hands, one in each hand.

Speaker 14 (25:09):
No, I didn't because I tend to get a little
messy sometimes, and you know, I was having so much fun.

Speaker 13 (25:14):
I didn't want to lose anything or leave anything behind
or have it stolen.

Speaker 14 (25:19):
So I decided to just go with the flow and
go without anything, just sunglasses on.

Speaker 2 (25:24):
Just because you know, I'm hoping my next question to
you is not answered by two letters no comment? Okay,
copy all right, I'm gonna ask you a question. I
hope it's not I hope it's not answered by two letters.
A word that has two letters? Okay? Okay, who invited

(25:47):
everybody to the after party?

Speaker 13 (25:51):
Who invited everyone? I did?

Speaker 2 (25:54):
So me?

Speaker 14 (25:57):
You?

Speaker 2 (25:58):
Yes, you invited people I did to celebrate your golden mics? Correct?
What happened to you?

Speaker 4 (26:07):
What do you mean?

Speaker 11 (26:08):
What happened to you?

Speaker 2 (26:10):
What's going on with you? What's wrong with that? Bellio?
Don't play that?

Speaker 13 (26:14):
Tell me?

Speaker 2 (26:17):
I really want to know you don't see anything wrong
with that?

Speaker 14 (26:21):
No, not with my group of friends at least everyone
that's you know, part of my life. They and we
celebrate each other for anything really, from birthdays to wards
to you know, a pimp on your cheek, a little.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
Bit of everything. So how did you invite those in
line with that? Yeah? How did you invite them? Did
you call them?

Speaker 8 (26:40):
No?

Speaker 14 (26:41):
I just let them know, Hey, what are you guys doing?
This is happening this day. Let's go out and have fun.

Speaker 4 (26:48):
You know.

Speaker 10 (26:48):
It started with hey, yeah exactly.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
And did you tell them why the party's happening because
you're golden Mics? Yeah? Of course, Richie. I gotta spend
more time.

Speaker 14 (27:01):
With you, Okay, if if you want to hang out.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
You're going down. You're going down an ugly road, buddy.
I gotta spend more time with you, all right, Let's
do it? All right? I re live on KFI KFI
AM six forty. It's Conway Show Our own. Ritchie won
a couple of Golden mics, two right, two Golden mics
over the weekend for his work in news, and then

(27:27):
he put together a post awards party for himself.

Speaker 14 (27:33):
Yes, so I wrote it, LUs, you didn't get invited,
not yet.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
Dang. Yeah, I'm getting there, okay.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
So I wrote a text to and I sent it
to sixteen sixteen of my friends and this is the
same text I sent. Hi, guys, I'm gonna win a
Golden Mic this Saturday. I'm planning a post wards party
at Hamburger Hamlet. Can you make it? Question Mark be

(28:05):
there in a heartbeat. No host food, no host bar,
no host valet parking, so far, no response nothing.

Speaker 11 (28:15):
He started with, I'm going to win.

Speaker 2 (28:17):
Yeah, I'm going to win because that's how you because
that's how you had to have framed it, right, Richie.

Speaker 12 (28:23):
No.

Speaker 14 (28:23):
I was like, hey, guys, are you guys free x
y Z. I'm getting a little VIP table food, drinks, whatever.

Speaker 13 (28:30):
Just come and celebrate my night.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
Dress to impress.

Speaker 13 (28:34):
That's all I said.

Speaker 2 (28:34):
And they're like, oh, you didn't. You didn't put in
you're going to win a Golden Mic. I just said,
it's an after party. I never said anything aft for
what for celebrating for win?

Speaker 4 (28:44):
Well?

Speaker 2 (28:44):
Eventually, yes, but didn't you think you were going to win?
Because the guys you're with always win. Well, you know,
were you surprised to have won?

Speaker 4 (28:54):
No?

Speaker 2 (28:54):
Okay, there it is my drop, Ritchie. I've got to
spend more time with you.

Speaker 4 (29:04):
Richie is.

Speaker 8 (29:05):
I told him you're not a big fan of the
look at me crowd, But Richie's okay with it.

Speaker 13 (29:11):
Because I am.

Speaker 2 (29:12):
I don't like Yeah, but I don't think that's ultimately
a good plan in life.

Speaker 13 (29:17):
He's let me have my moment.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
I know what to celebrate yourself is?

Speaker 4 (29:21):
I don't know.

Speaker 14 (29:22):
Next time, if you want, I'll ask you, Hey, so
that way I don't have to celebrate myself. Just we'll
use your card on file instead, And then that way
I would feel.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
I'd be more comfortable if I text your friends saying, hey,
your buddy Richie is about to be celebrated. We come
out doing it.

Speaker 13 (29:38):
I guess not.

Speaker 14 (29:39):
But see that's the thing though, with my friends it's different.
We we again, we were We're always constantly talking on
the on the phone or via text. We stay you know,
in contact because yes, we're our adults, so it's kind
of hard to get us all in together.

Speaker 2 (29:53):
Okay, I will give you this though, Ritchie. I saw
the pictures of you celebrating your after party, Yes, because
you showed them to me. And the women you travel
with are very attractive.

Speaker 13 (30:04):
Are you surprised?

Speaker 11 (30:05):
So are the men?

Speaker 4 (30:06):
Well?

Speaker 2 (30:07):
I didn't, I don't know. I mean, well they are.

Speaker 4 (30:10):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
I don't know, well they are. I only have I'll
take your word for it. Bellio, I'll take your word
for you, but I don't know what constitute's a good
looking guy? Is there? Chase on Channel four? Are we
watching a high speed chase on four? I think we
are breaking news Channel four, Channel four high speed chase
on Channel four, They're the only ones on it right now.

(30:34):
Let's flip on the audio Sammy for Channel four. Let's
find out what's going on. Eleana Moreno, you're making our.

Speaker 8 (30:40):
Way through Riverside now, chase on far Chase on far
Sam Bernardino Police airship overhead. I do believe that there
may be other things that this pretty, but I'm working
to confirm on the details of that right now.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
But for now, Toll, which is Toya.

Speaker 8 (31:00):
Camera relations, it's that car there that you see there
in the center of the screen.

Speaker 4 (31:04):
It's a silver Sedan with a.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
Going eastbound, older model.

Speaker 4 (31:08):
Hard to tell exactly what the mook is.

Speaker 2 (31:10):
I'll tell you what direction they're going because the sun
is out. They're going to eat coming up to the
king some very Oh you're right, it is south. What
time is it? Okay, you're right, be all right, Bellio,
it is south. I mean that Crozier, it is south.
You're right. The shadows on the left southbound. Crozier nailed
it south found.

Speaker 8 (31:27):
Older model Jaguar. That's what my bar was thinking. That's
what it looks like to me.

Speaker 2 (31:31):
What is a jag two for two crimes? He might
want to be back that week off? Did you some
good fresh fresh person? Who this guy's going to Richie's
post party in this pursuit.

Speaker 4 (31:45):
So still working from what the other wants are on
this one.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
But this guy's tasting. You didn't want a golden mic violation.

Speaker 4 (31:52):
We've got the Cybernardino Sheriff's.

Speaker 2 (31:54):
Helicopter Channel two five, nine, seven eleven not on it yet.

Speaker 4 (32:00):
I believe it's not on a yet.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
Channel four is on it. The pursuit Lamberdino Police chasing
after a drive.

Speaker 4 (32:07):
Coming up to Central Avenue in Riverside.

Speaker 15 (32:10):
Surprisingly, this Jaguar here is making tracks in the middle
of rush. He's really moving sixty four miles and now he.

Speaker 2 (32:16):
Loves that shoulder. Do you know ground units at all, Alanta?
Do we have any?

Speaker 8 (32:21):
There are some ground units, Michael, but I'm kind of
afraid to zoom out because they're pretty far back. This
guy has been in and out of traffic, so there's
not on his tail right now.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
Not really spinning though he's going sixty five to seventy.

Speaker 8 (32:33):
We first got overhead, we were able to find the units.
I saw at least three or four.

Speaker 2 (32:36):
Of that's like the paint spin worn off the front.
It's an older.

Speaker 8 (32:40):
Jag I bet it looks like right now he was
easy to spot.

Speaker 4 (32:44):
But again, ah, what looks like an older model like Jaguars?

Speaker 2 (32:47):
Okay, yeah, the older model JAGR blutting. The rooms weathered
a little passenger, but still were not original owner. I
imagine that.

Speaker 4 (32:59):
Person relationship is and what they would be awesome.

Speaker 16 (33:02):
We wanted you guys ninety want any idea if the
driver is armed?

Speaker 2 (33:09):
Yeah, he's got a machine gun.

Speaker 8 (33:10):
Colleen cib I've got a bazooka idea.

Speaker 16 (33:13):
The driver is armed here, Wow, nobody else is on
it two five, seven, nine to eleven.

Speaker 2 (33:19):
They're not on a yet, just channel four. Relationship is
chased on channel four.

Speaker 11 (33:24):
To get all the way out there.

Speaker 8 (33:25):
He break snapping victim, But that is what we're hewne
fifteen to fifteen passenger and all of this is right
abound the six fifteen and six may be okay, So
he's gonna flop be flying into a lake.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
El story are if he.

Speaker 8 (33:39):
Continues gender now it is that they've been in the
vehicle with this person.

Speaker 4 (33:45):
But again, h it's a pursuit said.

Speaker 2 (33:47):
Oh, there's one of those human bridges to get humans
over the free one.

Speaker 4 (33:50):
Forty five minutes to get out here and.

Speaker 11 (33:52):
Then soil on mountain.

Speaker 4 (33:54):
But now on the freeway yourself on two fifteen.

Speaker 2 (33:56):
Humans are always putting pavement on those you know, la I.

Speaker 15 (33:59):
The preliminary information should be in a possible kidnap victim
there with the suspect.

Speaker 2 (34:03):
How does this change things? Oh the highway pills right
behind him now, and how they changes things?

Speaker 8 (34:07):
Michael right behind Him'm not going to do something getting
off because they.

Speaker 2 (34:10):
Are going on to another freeway in.

Speaker 4 (34:12):
Most circumstances, that's at least time.

Speaker 2 (34:14):
Just an overpass onto a flyover to another freeway.

Speaker 8 (34:17):
It's going to try to be as careful as possible
what this pursuit does going to it's going to be
held hostage by that climber again Channel four, a kidnapping victim, unable.

Speaker 2 (34:33):
At guy's blowing by everybody. Not much traffic out there
on the.

Speaker 8 (34:36):
Monday at this time, just very preliminary information. But again
it started as a vehicle.

Speaker 4 (34:41):
Streetway is going to apparently that somehow, uh.

Speaker 8 (34:44):
Does this continued light that it was also a situation
where the passenger is a kidnapping victim and all of this.

Speaker 16 (34:51):
Well, you see the minute the traffic opened up there
he did as well. He was going as fast as
eighty five eighty six miles an hour for the first time.
Just on the lower part of your screen there you
see the black and white the squad car coming into
view there.

Speaker 8 (35:05):
Nope, yeah, so why didn't you out of here? So
because it is a little bit easier for me to
follow on this stretch, And now that we're in a
little less traffic and those units are behind him. Now
I see at least three marked units here behind it.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
All right, So he's coming up on riverside on Channel
four high speed chase, older model jag.

Speaker 4 (35:25):
We're coming up to March Airports Base.

Speaker 2 (35:27):
Oh, March air Force Pace. I know that it's okay,
I got him, I got him here.

Speaker 8 (35:30):
This stretch up the freeway is wide open for now,
but I am saying that as you approach March air
Force Base, the traffic really.

Speaker 4 (35:39):
Does slow down significantly. So let's see what this person does.

Speaker 8 (35:43):
We know he's not afraid to use the emergency lane
if he has to to get back to get buy
some of that slower moving traffic. But for now he's
smooth sailing. But that traffic is coming up here very soon.

Speaker 15 (35:55):
Yeah, it's very difficult for even us at this vantage point.
I can imagine only the frustration with officers. We don't
we can't ask too, Okay.

Speaker 2 (36:01):
So he continues here is going to get into Paris
where everybody goes all the way around sky diving seems
to be extremely and then into the lake else in
north area.

Speaker 4 (36:09):
I can kind of see.

Speaker 2 (36:10):
Our green ranch area should sense.

Speaker 4 (36:12):
To look through that from windshield, But.

Speaker 2 (36:14):
Again with Diamond Valley Lakes out there.

Speaker 8 (36:16):
At least two occupants in the car, and look at
him driving here now in.

Speaker 2 (36:20):
The apart before that, the seventy four is what I
was worried about. Beautiful area out there, beautiful traffic.

Speaker 4 (36:25):
Maybe he'll exit, that is a possibility. He's not afraid to.

Speaker 2 (36:29):
Channel four high speed chase. We'll continue to cover it
after this short break. We'll be back in two and
two and two and two. We're live on KFIM six
