Yeah, ripped up, bad news, need ad so you don't have come
running. Just as fast as wecan. Shooter's gonna help coming. Man
Dix is the Troubleshooter Show. NoTom Martinez, Hi Tom Martino. Here
(00:27):
listen, I got you right here. While I have you this I brought
to you by Fixing twenty four toseven. Now, I'm gonna tell you
somebody real quick, real quick. Then I go on to your calls.
I have never seen a deal likethis in the entire time I've represented fix
It. This is the time.Normally they do a clean, an extreme
clean of the furnace or air forthirty nine bucks okay each or either or
(00:49):
in the summer you get the airand then winter you get the furnace because
they do that no no breakdown guarantee. I just want to tell you right
now, right now, and thenwe'll talk later on to in detail.
But right now, there's only twentysix of these available at twenty six dollars.
But listen, it's for both forthirteen dollars each. You get an
(01:14):
extreme clean, adjust and tune witha no breakdown guarantee. Now, why
would you do both? Well, maybe you've never had them done before.
And that's the only condition here newcustomers, So if you haven't had them
done before, then you haven't hadthem done. Get them both done because
they both work in conjunction with eachother. If you're a regular customer,
you've been having one and then theother one and the other, that's fine.
But right now is your chance toget in for twenty six bucks.
(01:38):
I swear to God, if yougo to coffee with your kids or your
wife, you're going to spend thattwenty six dollars. Here's the number seven
to zero five two six thirty ninethirty nine. Or go to the website
fixmihome dot com and then we'll betalking to Hannah. She's one of the
fine peeps there that I know, along with George and the gang. So
twenty six dollars both furnace and airtwenty that's thirteen each. I swear to
(02:02):
God that that's more than the gasthat takes them to get their Why are
they doing it? They want toput their sticker on there and be your
company. They want to impress you, so take advantage of it. Seven
two zero five two six thirty ninethirty nine. You can't go wrong now,
I want to talk about a squatterwith Kurt Kirk a squatter. Not
(02:22):
that I love talking about squatters. In fact, this whole damn country is
just so divided about everything in theworld. God Almighty, you know,
I don't know. I think we'regoing to come down someday. Listen,
this is what I think. Ithink someday we're going to come down to
businesses aligning themselves politically, although theyshould in corporations, this ESG thing and
(02:46):
all this other stuff. Companies aregoing to be either one side or the
other. Liberal, conservative, progressive, I don't care what you call but
you're going to have leadership falling onone end or the other. Therefore,
investors are going to follow that.Customers are going to follow that, restaurants
are going to follow I swear Icountry, I don't. I'm not saying
(03:08):
I like this. I see acountry where people are even going to live
where the political climate suits them. You see a lot of that right now,
people moving to Florida and Texas areaway from So I don't know,
anyway, I digress, I reallydo feel that. Hey, do you
(03:30):
remember at the time when we coulddisagree and not hate each other. God,
what the hell happened and this yearis going to be the word Kirk
on that lovely thought. Let's startoff our Monday with a squatter issue,
right, what's happened in Kirk? All right? Now, well, secually
(03:53):
happened to my mother. She hasapartments and we have there, so what
does she have an apartment building? He had like three apartments in it,
okay, and one of them thisguy just decided he was going to live
there. Of course. Yeah,So we went through the normal channels,
(04:16):
you know, beliefs. Now,did he claim that he had a lease,
did he claim he was paying? What did he claim? Because they
have to make a claim. Ihe did not claim anything. And and
my mother says, well, hedoesn't have a lease, never signed a
lease, He never asked me anything. I want to get our real estate
attorney on and I'm going to tellyou why. Normally, when someone squats,
(04:42):
they had they make a claim likeI live here, or I rent
here, or we had an agreementor something. I'm not sure what happens
if they're stupid enough to squat andnot make a claim. Squatting usually,
I believe now I might be wrong, usually comes with a claim, which
(05:08):
means then if he doesn't have aclaim, can you just go and kick
him out? Kirk uh I reallywant to, Katschina. If you could
get Brad O'Brien on O'Brien legal services, that would be a good one.
Let's do that, Katschina. Iknow Kitschina is in mourning today, but
(05:28):
can you do that for me?Kachina? Can you pull yourself out of
the doldrums? And you know whyshe's in You know what's going on with
her? Ray? Come on,we all know, right, don't we
know what's happening? Do you knowwhy she's in mourning? Because Dollar Tree
has closed its doors? Yeah? After thirty five years. You hang on,
(05:54):
Kirk, We're gonna get you ananswer. I'm serious, okay,
as to what she can do ifthe guy hasn't made to claim or wherever?
What state is she in? Denver? Colorado? Oh? She's in
Denver, Colorado? Thank you?Hold on, Ashley? What's happening with
you? Ashley? Hey? Didyou send me an email? I did
(06:15):
you know what? I love thefact that I recall that right now.
I'm trying to find it. Somethingabout your stuck. Tell me what's going
on? So the short part ofthe short answer is that we haven't had
solar panels on our roof for overseven months because our solar company, Sunrun
REFU just had you absolutely anything toget them up. Well, let's let's
(06:36):
start at the beginning. How longhave you had this system? So we
bought the house three years ago,it was already on the house. Oh,
you inherited the system. Yes,we finished sam when we moved in
the house, we went ahead andbought out the rest alone. So the
solar panels are our very clear, but they're still supposed to be serviced by
Sunbrin well, sun Run. Whois sun Run? So they're supposedly one
(07:00):
of the top solar companies in thecountry. No, they're not. It
says when you look online that whenyou look on they're like, hey,
sun runs one of the best, and they're not. I could never go
with them. Was it installed bysun Run? No, Originally it was
owned by the event and then sunRun bought them out and so they took
(07:23):
over the contract. Now, whenyou take took over the contract? What
contract? So basically, so sunRun is on the side of our house.
They have the box on the sideof their house. They're supposed to
do all the warranty and do allthe servicing, and all did under warranty.
It is under warranty. How doyou know this based on our contract
(07:44):
and also the contract for I hateto keep asking these, but I what
contract? The contract when you boughtthe house or the contract after you bought
it you signed up with sun Run. Tell me about your contract. So
the contract you originally had was withVivin and then they had a really hard
time moving all of our stuff over. But then after we got a bunch
(08:05):
of hail damage on our roof lastyear, Sun Run then signed to had
us contracts to have them take offthe solar panels and then reinstall them,
and that included all of the informationof will maintain a warranty from previous So
you signed a contract how long agowith the sun Run that to detach and
(08:28):
rate set the panels was in September. No, I'm talking about that actually
said if you let us take thepanels off and put them back on,
we're going to service this whole systemfor you forever or what what were the
terms. It just doesn't sound rightto me that this company comes in to
take off the panels and reinstall themor supposedly reinstall them. But you say
(08:50):
it also was a maintenance agreement. How much were you paying for this maintenance
agram? Well, not fortiving it. It was for anything required to maintain
the warranty, so not like maintainingand checkout on it every year. But
they were supposed to maintain the warrantyfor any damage to the solar panels.
And okay, what warranty do youhave? What do they mean by a
(09:11):
warranty? So it was supposed tobe ten years from the time of installation
of the solar panels, and thena twenty five year manufacturer warranty. Okay,
And you're saying sun Run took thison, Yes, and what do
you pay them for this? Wealready paid for the solar panels, so
(09:33):
it's but you didn't pay You didn'tpay sun Run for them. I believe
we did because I believe at thetime that we bought the house, sun
Run was already the one in chargeof the solar panels, and so he
paid off the loan. It wouldhave been the sun Run but you did
us. But that contract was thatsigned with you were the previous homeowner.
(09:56):
The original contract was with the previoushomeowner. But then we when we bought
the house, we had to takeit on and so we just paid off
this. Yeah, but I don'tcare if you say you took it on.
And Ashley, please understand most ofthose contracts are only for the original
purchaser. Do you actually have acontract that extended to you from sun Run?
(10:22):
Yes? Do you have it inwriting signed by sun Run, Yes,
that they will take care of that. They will honor the warranty of
our solar panels from the previous onefrom where originally was it was supposed to
be ten years from the time ofinstallation. Okay, now, okay,
(10:43):
now here's what I want to know. They took them off so you could
have roof repairs and never put themback on. Well, what they have
fed is we don't have people inthe area, so we're going to hire
a subcontractor or do it. Thesubcontractor Nova Source turned out to be fraudulent,
so Novas Source without the permits theywere supposed to have before done by
(11:07):
sun Run, who didn't do theirdue diligence, they took off the solar
panels. They've been on our fencefor the past seven months, and I
was the one who found out thatNovas source was charuduling because they were Okay,
here's where are your panels right now? They're on our fence. So
did you pay for both removal andinstallation or just removal? We had a
(11:28):
contract for removal and installation and wewere working. How much did you pay?
How much did you pay? Itwas full? Then here's what I'm
going to tell you, Ashley. You need to start from scratch. You
cannot depend on Sun Run to servicethis. You didn't pay for it,
so just just cut them off, just forget them. Okay, I'm going
to have some suggestions for you.Hang on. I promise you some solid
(11:52):
suggestions. I'm Tom Martine. Wehave more coming up. And don't forget
the most extraordinary deal ever for extremeclean of both furnace and ac. Just
twenty six dollars for both thirteen dollarseach seven to zero, five two,
six, thirty nine, thirty nine. Go with a sure thing Denver's Best
(12:20):

now three oh three seven to sevento one. Help. You'll think you're
his only customer when you choose Frankdurand the real estate man dot com to
(12:43):
list your home with Remax Alliance threeoh three nine two zero sixteen twenty two.
All right, listen, I don'tknow how we're gonna do this because
we only had twenty six available, but thirteen, Han is telling me.
Now, Hannah, you're telling methat you can get both done for twenty
six dollars of full extreme clean fortwenty six bucks. But if someone just
(13:09):
wants the furnace or just wants theac done, you mean to tell me
you will roll a truck for thirteenbucks, honest to god, for thirteen
dollars. Yes, you want toknow why we're gonna do that? No,
Yeah, he's crazy. Why areyou gonna do it? Seriously?
Are they serious? We want todo this? Right, We're playing a
long game here, Tom Enough.Of course you're hoping the quarterback. Right,
They're gonna see how good this is. Okay, no other company goes
(13:33):
this far. Thirteen dollars. We'regonna guarantee no breakdowns. This summer at
that guarantee, and then we're gonnahave a feen dollars if you just want
your air done thirteen bucks. Buthere's what I want to say. Okay,
are you you said there's twenty sixavailable now? Is that gonna be
twenty six at thirteen, twenty sixat twenty six and twenty like twenty six
furnaces, twenty six acs and twentysix combos? Or are we gonna do
just twenty six no matter what becauseit must be sold out by now?
(13:56):
Is me twenty six no matter whatwhat? People call in for six bookings
for this very special office. Okay, people, they've got a call.
But it'll still even after twenty six, it'll still be just be thirty nine
bucks anyway for one or the other. But right now, twenty six available
at thirteen dollars, or you cando both for twenty six. You can't
beat that's seven two zero five twosix, thirty nine thirty nine. Let
(14:18):
me go to the phones. Igot two experts standing by. Brad O'Brien
is a real estate attorney. Brad, you know, I know we talked
about squatters before, and I knowyou're probably sick and tired of talking about
it. But let me ask youa question real quick. In the past,
I thought that a squatter would makea claim, for example, and
let's bring Kirk up to who called. They would make a claim saying well,
(14:41):
I have a lease, or Ithis is my place, or we
have an agreement or whatever. Kirksaid. In this case, his mom
has three apartments in a building,a triplex, and somebody moved into one
of them. But apparently, Kirk, let me get this straight, that
(15:01):
squatter is not making any claim. What do they say when when you ask
why are you there? He justkind of says, I just moved in
here. Did he say did hesay I had an agreement? Or did
he say I just need a placeto live? I mean, does he
give any explanation? No? Notreally. The thing is he's been there
(15:28):
for a while now. And howlong has he been there? It's been
like five months or month? Wait? Wait wait wait wait wait wait Kirk,
why would your mother let that orwhy would you let that happen for
five months? Well, I can'tdo anything about it because I'm I'm real
(15:48):
sick. I'm barely walking, andyou know, I just got old,
and I'm old are you How oldare you? I'm about fifty eight,
Kirk, kill you tell me you'retoo old. That's cool. Anyway,
you're sick, Kirk, I don'twant to make fun of that. If
you're sick, if you're truly sick, or to say, what's wrong with
(16:11):
you? Man? I have anatrophy? And by abd are you?
Okay? Okay, okay, listen. So so you're not just fifty eight,
you're fifty eight and you have diabeteswhich is out of control? Right?
Yeah, okay, listen? Right? So are you are you overweight?
Kirk? Yes? Okay? Butthis guy is, you know,
(16:37):
just acting like he owns the wholebuilding. Oh okay, So Brad does
a squatter right? First of all, does a squatter get more rights the
longer they're there? I just needto know that one thing. Do they
no? So long as they're neverthere with permission of the owner and they
(16:57):
don't pay rent? Now, whatif the squatter is not making any claim?
Can't they just have him removed?Yes, there's an expedited eviction process
for squatters. Has to be somebodythat's not related to you, never paid
rent, never had a lease, truly an unauthorized person, and that expedited
(17:19):
process can be done as quickly,as quickly as two or three days within
the court. Now is this new, Brad, This expedited process. No,
but it's not really used very oftenbecause typically somebody has has either paid
rent or they had permission to enterin the first place. This is truly
like a squatter. Somebody's broken toan vacant place and just squatted. What
(17:41):
if he changes his mind in themiddle of this process and says, oh,
we had a verbal agreement, Well, that's a question of fact.
I mean, you can still thelamb. The owner can still proceed as
if it's a squatter case, andthen there's a hearing then like a day
or two, and if the squattercan prove that they had some then it's
(18:02):
not no longer squatter case. We'vedone the expedited eviction. You did it.
Yes. When the sheriff showed upover the Denver shriff, he says,
we have to have twenty people andaccess to a truck to move his
stuff. Twenty Wait, wait, you have to have twenty people. Yes,
(18:25):
Well, hold on a second. You did mention one time, Brad,
in passing, and I didn't writeit down but you said something about
the sheriff can demand that the thatthe eviction be done in an hour.
Yeah, one to two hours. The sheriff doesn't want to be on the
site longer than one or two hours. So you either have to hire a
professional moving company or show up withyour own help in trash bags. To
(18:48):
do it yourself. You have toput who decides how many people the sheriff
eyeballs on site. You basically haveto show them when they show up for
the eviction that you can get it'sdone in an hour or two. In
Denver it might be an hour.Yeah, the guy doesn't have nothing.
I mean the furniture that was inthere. Wait a minute, so what
happened? Wait? Wait? Wait, so what happened When the sheriff showed
(19:12):
up? They would not let youevict. They would not let us evict,
and we had to get a locksmith. You know something, Brad,
These sheriff's deputies have no uh,I don't know. They have no business
trying to practice law, in myopinion, don't you think that that was
wrong for them to do that?Well, they size up what's in there.
(19:37):
As far as furniture and stuff,I can't believe that they would have
said twenty people are necessary, evena professional crew. Are you sure they
said that? Kirk? Yes?Did you? Okay? Who was the
deputy that told you that? Doyou have a name? I don't know
what my mom does. I wantto get the name and what sheriff's department
was it? Denver? Share? Now, once he had this order,
(20:00):
Brad, and he was turned awayby the deputy, can they just redo
it or do they have to gothrough the entire process once again? Well,
if it's been pretty recent, heshould be able to try again with
the same writ of a restitution withouthaving the same writ. How long ago
was this writ, this court order? Kirk? Three weeks ago? He
(20:23):
can he still use it? Doyou think, Brad? I don't know
the hard deadline, but I thinkthat's still recent enough. Yeah, they
want another one thousand dollars to doit. Who does the Denver sheriff?
What are you talking about? Anotherthousand? What are you talking about they're
talking of let's going back to courttalking to the judge again. Well,
(20:45):
no, no, no, no, the sheriff doesn't practice law, Kirk.
I know. Did the sheriff tellyou you have to go back to
court. Yes, you know what, Deputy Doc. We need to call
the sh aff's department. What thehell are these guys doing practicing law,
Brad? Do they have a rightto tell him me? You have to
(21:06):
go back to court. They're notgoing to honor that writ No, and
the sheriff see is normally like onehundred hundred and fifty to execute a writ.
No, he meant it's going tobe another thousand to go back to
court. It doesn't sound right. No way, Kirk, I'm not here.
We need to talk to your mom. Okay, we're not hearing.
There's something we're not hearing. Isyour mom able to talk to us?
How old is she? She's ladysick? Okay, is right now?
(21:32):
He's admit she's sleeping. Okay, never mind, Kirk. But Kirk,
are you saying you try to reserveor re execute this eviction? And the
sheriff said, we're not coming untilyou get a new one, right and
again with the twenty people and thetruck and okay, you know what,
(21:56):
let Deputy doc you're there, getWe got to call the Sheriff's department.
There's nothing in the statute about twentypeople or anything like that. I just
can't believe the Sheriff's department. Weneed to get some names and make some
calls, Kirk. And personally,Kirk, I don't believe what I'm hearing.
So did you hear this? Personally? I'm hearing a second hand from
(22:18):
my mom. Okay, I don'tthink your mom heard it correctly. Okay,
So I can't go over there foryour mom. If you can't do
it, then we're just going tohave to rely on her, and she
doesn't want to do it. Soyou may just have to give up your
place to this guy forever. Idon't know what to tell you if no
one will step up and do it. If you can't do it and she
(22:40):
can't do it, then this guylives there. Did he show up?
Let me ask you this, Kirk. Did he show up all of a
sudden or does he know someone livingthere? How did he find the place?
My guess he's the son of oneof my mom's friends. Well,
(23:02):
did you talk to one of thosefriends I have? They had a falling
out somehow, and I don't goWell, Kirk, your mom may just
have to give up her place. That just might be. You know,
there's no magic here. If youand her won't stick up for your rights
and won't do what you need todo. It belongs to him. We've
(23:26):
already done that. We've already hadthe sheriff at the house and he no.
No. What I mean is defythe sheriff. You go tell the
sheriff that they're wrong, You talkto their superiors, and you make sure.
See you haven't talked to anyone,Kirk, You're leaving it to your
eighty six year old bedridden mother. She's not but oh, okay, nothing.
(23:49):
Well, we need to figure outwhether you or your mom wants to
take this on with the Sheriff's department, because Deputy Doc needs to talk to
one of you and get to thebottom of it. I'm Tom Martinez three

I want to uh go to brooknow about this solar system. And then
I want to mention that deputy Chopperhe's going to take the one instead of
Doc. He'll take the one forthe Sheriff's department. He has he knows
people over there. He's an excop or police officer or whatever you want
(25:41):
to call him. And let's talkto Ashley. Ashley, let's talk about
this. So Brooke Ashley said shebought a house and inherited a solar system
and that she had storm damage andneeded to get the panels removed and reinstalled.
(26:02):
She hasn't been charged yet, butshe said she found a company who
supposedly was going to service the system. So they took off, they subcontracted
someone to take off the panels. They were going to now also service it.
And I said, what do youmean service it? And she said,
(26:25):
well, our solar system has aten year warranty on some things in
twenty five years on another and sunRun said they're going to take care of
it. And now sun Run isbasically ignoring her. Ashley, Do I
have that right so far for themost part? Yeah, I mean sun
(26:45):
Run they're the ones who are supposedto be over how they own our and
monitor our account so everything. Yeah, but they don't own your account.
I just want you to know that. Okay, they don't and you have
no obligation to them. What's sobecause you haven't paid them a dime and
so so far, all you haveis a company that said they were going
(27:07):
to help you and have done nothingexcept remove panels and left them there.
And you said the company they sentwas fraudulent. Yes, so certainly you
don't feel an allegiance to sun Run, do you not at all? Okay?
Now, let's talk to a goodsolar company Red Rocks, Roof and
(27:32):
Solar, and I want to talkto brook Brook. First of all,
Brook have you heard of sun Run? Yeah? Absolutely so. Sun Run's
a nationwide installer. So a lotof folks have utilized sun Run in a
variety of aspects for their solar Arethey good company? I found that most
(28:00):
folks that work with sun Run wishthat they hadn't. Okay, now,
next question, who is this subcontractorAshley that removed your panels? Nova Source?
Have you heard of Nova Source? No? I have not heard of
them. Okay, that's because wouldyou explain this to her and explain it
to everyone? How solar companies comeand go like bubbles in oozing poop?
(28:27):
Yeah? No, you definitely,I mean that's that's normal. There's a
ton of solar companies that start upand then they are able to do what
they say that they're going to orhelp out customers the way that they're going
to and things fall through the cracksfor sure? Are they electrical contractors?
Did you see their license or whatmakes you say that they were fraudulent?
(28:48):
So they were not licensed in aRapahoe County to take off and to remove
and reattach solar panels and sun runsout. They're supposed to give us their
license summer beforehand. They did not. And it was only when they weren't
No resource wasn't doing anything, andI finally called a Rapahoe County and to
see what the status of our permitwas and where are your panels? Right
(29:11):
now? They're leaning against our friends. Yeah, okay, are you are
you an unincorporated a rapa Hoe County? Yes? Yeah, so unincorporated a
rapa Hoe County is unique every otherplace to pull a detach and reset permit
or remove and reset whatever you wantto call it, is like a single
(29:33):
day quick permit for a rapa HoeCounty. It takes one to four weeks
to issue a permit, so you'reat least looking at five weeks out minimally
probably to have your panels redone. If you work with a company that is
licensed a rapa Hoe County requires eithera general contractor or a engineer on full
(29:56):
time. Last, you have tobe naps and certified, and you have
to be a electrical contractors. Noother jurisdiction in Colorado requires all three,
so they're very difficult to get licensedin or to do it. Are you
licensed there, Yes, we are. Here's what I suggest, Ashley.
Let's just cut right to it.You're beating a dead horse. I would
(30:19):
leave sun Run in the dust.Forget about them. You don't want them.
They already picked a fraudulent company. You don't want sun Run, you
don't want a Nova source. Whatyou want to do is simply get a
good company to come and finish thejob. Since you haven't paid a dime,
you'll be money ahead. That's myrecommendation. We're not going to waste
(30:41):
our time trying to go after sunRun. You haven't paid them, and
in fact, why would we goafter them. We don't want you working
with them. So, even thoughthey're the one for all of our information
about how much we're getting from oursolar panels and what we're saving through the
energy company and things like that,if we go with another like if we
(31:04):
just switch companies like that, we'ldjust switch to or listen, let me
explain something. The manufacturer's warranties havenothing to do with sun Run. They
have bsdu into thinking that they're helpingyou and they're not. And this information

one hundred percent on that. Socan you take why is it that people
think that they only can use onecompany for warranty work? Can you talk
about that? Well, some companieshave it within their warranty that their warranty
voide it. So, for instance, in my if you work with us,
(33:43):
we have a thirty year parts inlabor warranty, But if you have
somebody else do it, then ourwarranty goes away. But the manufacturer ones

the way, fix at twenty foursevens with us. And we've been talking
about this extreme clean and let meexplain this real quick and then I'll get
to your calls at three oh threeseven one three talk three oh three seven
one three five to five an extremeclean. The reason I emphasized it so
much is truly, truly, truly, I had a rattle in this is
a true story, and one awhile ago because I've known George for so
(36:09):
many years. But at Fix,at the owner, I had a rattle
and it sounded like my furnace wasfalling apart, and I was afraid I
need a new furnace. And hesaid it was caked and on dirt on
the blower that was causing it tobe out of balance. And all they
did was cleaned it. Well,I shouldn't say all they did. It
(36:30):
was an extreme clean. They actuallyremoved that cage, cleaned it and then
cleaned the burners which were burning yellow. Then they went pure blue and they
it was like the whole furnace waslike made now. And he said,
yeah, this is what I'm introducing. This was years ago, and he
said we're going to do it forthirty nine bucks. And I said,
whoa, you just spent two hourshere and he said, yeah, but
(36:51):
we want people to see what wecan do. And that's the story of
that. Seriously, I was withit when it was birthed, and so
from then on in they kept doingthirty nine, which would have been like
two fifty ars. Seriously at least. But anyway, today today it's thirteen
dollars. I swear to God thirteendollars. Now, I don't care who
you are. I don't care ifyou're skeptical about anything. You can't get
(37:14):
anything for thirteen dollars. So they'llcome and do your complete air conditioner today
for thirteen bucks or not today. They'll schedule it today if you schedule today,
right, So it's thirteen bucks oryour furnace for thirteen or both for
twenty six. Obviously thirteen plus thirteenfor those from marktsas equals twenty six.
Now I want to mention this thatis today only twenty They said twenty six
(37:37):
were available. But I have tobelieve that they're extending that number because they're
still taking calls. And I knowdamn well that they have twenty six.
But at least until it ends, they reserve the right to end it.
But call seven two zero five twosix thirty nine thirty nine fixed my home
dot Com? Do you want toadd anything to that? Before we go
to the calls and talk about stuff, what do you want to add to
(37:59):
that? One of the big questionswe get is we give a no breakdown
guarantee. Yeah, yeah, Andpeople asks us, how can you make
that guarantee. Yeah, you reallyhit all the points. But the big
part of that is the number onecause of the breakdown. The breakdown it's
going to cost you fifteen grand whenyou have to replace it. Is that
dirt, dust and debris it's cakedon there. People don't realize it.
The first thing that goes the blowermotor. That's that is the key.
(38:22):
We actually pull that out. Whenyou show the homeowners that blower motor just
how dirty it is, all ofa sudden they realize. And then what
happens is that cakes on, Itresists, starts, then the seals start
breaking, oil starts coming out,it seases. Then after that the burners,
the burners get caked up, andthe valves, the little holes where
(38:44):
the gas comes out. I mean, there's so many things that happen,
and the dirty or your house,by the way, the worst it can
happen. Yes, So in additionto this, if you ever get this
done, and you should, youshould all also consider duckt cleaning too.
That can help your house. Andthen in general, basically, what can
I say? You have to changeyour stupid filters, Yes, I mean
(39:07):
people never do it now. Iwhen I had these guys, they just
were at my house. Now,you wonder how do I keep getting these?
Well, because I'm a member ofthe Green Bubble Club. So they
came and did a cleaning for us, and they said, do you see
this filter you have? Tom AndI didn't buy it, Stephanie did,
so I'm not going to take theblame. It was a thick, high
(39:28):
efficient filter and it was supposed tobe like really good. They said,
don't get this great filter. Youwant the most wispy filter. Yes,
exactly. You want to be ableto see your hand through it. Okay,
so hold it up to a lightand you want to see your hand
wave right now? Why? Becauseyou do not want to choke down your
(39:49):
furnace. People think the thicker andthe more thick and better that the better
off. They are right, andit's not. You want a wispy filter
that you can see through. Thesecret is, however, you must change
that filter monthly, or at leastevery two months. Now. Obviously,
if you have a really clean housewith an electrostatic air cleaner and all of
(40:10):
that, you might be able toget away with two months. But I
would say they're so cheap, whybother trying to go more than a month.
And there's my there's my speech now. An somebody doubted me when I
said that dollar stores are shutting down, but they are in fact not just
(40:32):
dollar stores but Dollar Tree. They'reshutting down and I saw that. Let
me let me look for it here. But I saw that, and it's
it's true. So uh, that'swhy I joked with I joked with Kaschina
that her she's in mourning because ofit. But the dollar stores have closed.
(40:58):
I think there was like six ofthat one. Let me find it
here. I have the actual namesof all of that. Yeah, Dollar
Tree stores and also dollar stores. Now my YouTube morons know about it,
so I'm surprised you haven't heard thatthey were closing and they just can't make
(41:19):
it anymore or they'd have to changetheir name to the five dollar store and
that's not going to work that well. So what's happening is, let me
think how many stores, like hundredsin addition, because it's more than just
Dollar Tree and Dollar Tree though isbig, big, big big. But
(41:40):
anyway, that's according to the newsI read. Of course, this is
not inside information for me. Thisis literally what I have read. Now,
Deputy Choppers here, Deputy Shopper,do you have a follow up on
anything. Oh, I'm working onI already contacted the dever Sheriffs. I'm
(42:07):
waiting on them to get back tome. But have you talked about the
fly in? Because I was inmy car and I didn't hear the beginning.
Oh what I said was I thinkit was off the air. I'm
thinking, I said, Deputy Chopper, and I or I said, I
guess. I said it to myYouTube morons on the chat that we got
together on Saturday and went to thiscountry airport, which right now I'm not
(42:29):
going to give the name because andI'll tell you why, because I don't
want it to be overcrowded anyway.I couldn't believe all the people that show
up from all these little What happensis this guy on the first Saturday of
every month has a fly in wherepeople come and have pancake breakfast and all
of the guys in these airplanes fromlittle country airports join It. Wasn't it
(42:52):
fun, Chopper? Wasn't it fun? I had almost forgot how nice airport
people are, But it was great. It was a good time. A
lot of airplanes to look at andyou know, pancakes and sausage. No
politics, just fun exactly. Thebiggest controversy is who had the who had
(43:15):
the best airplane? I mean, come on, hey, here's the deal.
So we went in and a Chopperand that's hence the name Deputy Chopper.
By the way, he actually gotto fly. But I just want
to say, somebody, Chopper, the seatbelt fit. I was so impressed.
I mean, you're making tremendous progress. I'm serious. I hope you
don't mind me talking about this.Did I violate hippodology? I don't.
(43:39):
Yeah, I don't carry. Heyit's working. Yeah, choppers, Uh,
choppers doing well on a diet. And we were joking about the seatbelt
not fitting well. It fit evenbefore it was just a little tight that
I think he was more comfortable thistime. I think what we ought to
do, chopd is one day havea YouTube more on gathering at the hangar
(44:04):
and take them for rides. Whatdo you think that's a great idea.
Yeah, I might even throw onsome hot dogs and burgers, but who
knows I might do that. No, I'm not gonna mte do it.
I'm going to do it. Soyou got to remind me. Yeah,
it'll be only you got to besigned up on YouTube for the show in
(44:29):
order to get it. You can'tjust show up and then we'll do rides.
Well that would be a lot ofthat. Yeah. So anyway,
Chopper, let me know when youget a hold of the sheriff, because
what they said was on this evictionof a squatter, they got the expedited
(44:50):
eviction, which is being afforded topeople that have no contracts, no agreements,
nothing at all, and they claimthe person just show up. There's
an expedited eviction. But when theyhad the writ to move them out to
the wriit to move the guy out, the Sheriff's department, according to this
(45:12):
guy, demanded that they have twentypeople to do it. Now, I've
never heard of such a thing.I do know that Denver can demand that
you have enough people to get itdone in an hour. It does not
have to be a professional mover, and you do not have to put it
in a truck or a U haulor anything. All you have to do
(45:36):
is move it to the front. Now, according to this guy, there's
nothing in that apartment. The squatterhas next to nothing, So why would
Denver Sheriff's Department demand that twenty peopleshow up, so they weren't able to
evict the guy that was three weeksago, so they wanted to do it
again. And now the Sheriff's departmentis saying, you need a new and
(46:00):
our attorney says, no, youdo not. You don't have to go
back to court for another one.So we have the sheriff's department practicing law.
Now the deputies are are and Idon't mean deputies like our deputies.
I'm talking about the Denver Sheriff's Departmentthat I think what they're doing is they're
(46:21):
they're pissed off that they're getting theircoffee and donut time eaten into, so
they're I think what they're doing isthey're demanding things that aren't in the law.
So I want to know what thehell's going on with these idiots,
because I just don't think that theyhave a right to do that. Three
h three seven two five five.We got John. He wants to talk
(46:44):
about Tabor. Everyone's wondering where thechecks are. The checks are delayed,
they're coming and we hear that theyunderpaid and we'll have to send another round
of checks John, What is yourquestion? Well, I saw new saw
a news broadcast on Fox thirty one, and then I looked it up online
and read a little bit of thestory. Apparently they still owe us like
(47:10):
thirty four in that. That's rightmoney, that's right that wait wait,
wait, they do have the moneybecause the Tabor money was there. Are
you saying they don't have the moneythey're trying to figure out what to do
with it right now? Well,I think they spent the money, is
what you mean to say? Yeah, I mean, can you believe these
(47:31):
idiots they sent out the wrong amount. First, they tried to keep it,
remember that maneuver. They tried tokeep it. Well, they tried
to eliminate the table. No,that's what I meant. They tried to
eliminate it, saying we're going tolower your taxes. But remember they were
the ones that raised our taxes tobegin with and then turned around and say,
(47:57):
well, now we're going to loweryour taxes by keeping the bottom line
is it's a big scam. Ourgovernor is a scammer. He is a
scammer. He looks for ways.Remember when he claimed it was him that
was giving back this refund, Hisadministration had nothing to do with him.
In fact, it was up tohim we wouldn't get one. I you
know, whether you're a Republican orDemocrat, you can't be happy with Polish.
(48:22):
I'm sorry you can't be Now.Now I will tell you this.
I will tell you this. Idon't think he did a bad job when
it came to COVID. I don'tthink he did such a bad job.
But anyway, no, I wasnot forget he called the selfish bastards though
what oh he called a selfish bastardsWe didn't want to wear masks? Oh
(48:44):
oh oh yeah, Well you knowI'm telling you, man, I just
get so pissed. So anyway,John, did you what was your specific
question? Well, my question wasbecause I haven't really heard anybody else talk
about it except on Fox News onetime and then looking it up on uh
(49:05):
No. But they have to payus, There's no way around it.
They're going to have to do it. So let me see what I can

(51:23):
my tires rotated and I even gotan oil change. That last snowstorm,
I went like two blocks and mywheel literally fell off and your tires were
rotated and they did your brakes,Yeah, they did both. And then
when I drove it down the streetto get gas and this Toyota Tundra,
(51:44):
I just I have the pictures onBreaks which which wheel? Which wheel fell

let's go to Hannah fix At twentyfour to seven. Somebody said, the
no breakdown guarantee is both furnace andAC but but what but we're not going

talk, that's what you would think. Actually, your entire system works in
conjunction, right, So when yourAC is running all summer long, that
(53:12):
blower wheel that's in the furnace right, the whole it is working in anarmover,
it's an error mover. If thatthing is clogged, if it's got
the dirt, dustin debris on there, energy bills are going up, breakdowns
are happening. So really it isthe perfect time to do both AC definitely,
but furnace too. Yeah, soeither so if anything in the system
breaks down, they re they guaranteeit. So anyway, three oh three,

At the US Sun. They republishthat anyway, Let's let's keep going here.
Three all three seven, one, three eight, two five five.
So breaks plus bill we left offwith you a month ago. Breaks plus
(55:49):
tire rotated front driver's side wheel felloff on his two ten Toyota Tundra.
Here's what they need to do,no matter what, whatever, whatever it
takes, they should put you backto reaccident condition. They don't have to
do anything more than that. Okay, if you want to paint your own
car, you got to come upwith an adequate number on what they would
have had to have painted. Theydon't have to give you a new paint
(56:10):
job. Okay, So I think, how much is it going to cost
to repaint the car? It's goingto be like four thousand dollars. And
okay, if they had that frontif they had that front driver's side fender
(56:32):
fixed where the wheel fell off,how much is that repaint going to be
from a body shop? What's seventeenhundred. That's what it would cost,
yes, sir, just that area. Yeah, well look okay, or
would you think it'll be uh,it'll look like because the truck is a
work truck, I mean it mighthave some scratches next to the door.
(56:54):
I mean, Bill, they don'thave to paint your whole truck. Okay,
there you have right now, afourteen year old truck. Fourteen years
old. Okay, if now theyowe it, they owe you the fix.
They need to fix it, nodoubt, and they need to make
a decent paint job, but theydon't. So they should try to blend
(57:17):
it the best as possible. Butthey do not have to paint the rest
of your truck. Now. Idon't know if seventeen hundred is high or
lower whatever, but if you geta few estimates and that front quarter would
have cost you seventeen hundred in paint, then they should give you that money
and then you can put it towarda full paint job. That for sure.
(57:39):
And if they won't do that foryou, I think we need to
put someone on it. Now.Are they refusing to pay anything for the
paint? Well, no, hewas going to do that, and I
was going to like pay half.I mean, if you look at the
pick wait wait, hold on,Bill, I'm not understanding. What were
they willing to do for the pain. They were going to be paid this.
(58:04):
They were going to put a newfender on and repaint it good.
That's all they have to do,Okay, I didn't know. Well,
why would you think they have todo more? And why? I mean
I was going to meet them.Well, I mean, if you look
at the pictures on Google, Imean, and they tried to fix them,
wheel of them even that was donewrong. I had to I had
to go Bill that. Bill,Bill, I'm not justifying them fixing it
(58:25):
wrong. If you heard what Isaid, they need to fix it,
right, Okay, they need toand they need to paint the fender they
put on. But I don't knowwhy you believe they need to go beyond
that. Okay, I'm just I'mprobably just You're probably right, You're right.
I mean, I'm just I'm nottrying to be difficult. I'm just
(58:49):
saying that's all you can expect.Everything else is called better mint now people,
and Bill, You're not the onlyone. A lot of people make
the argument that they were that andhappy. They would have never thought about
painting the whole truck. But nowthat that fender is repainted, it's not
matching perfectly. Blah blah blah blahblah. The courts don't work that way.
(59:12):
They just don't. You don't getto just better the situation by the
fact that you had an accident. You just don't. If it was a
newer truck and you couldn't get thepaint to match, you'd have more of
an argument, for sure. Threethree seven, one, three eight,
two five five. Let's go backto the phones and talk to Mohammed.
(59:34):
Mohammed. What has happened? Oh? Did he hang up? Mohammed?
Okay, we'll go to Kem thenis it Kem k e m or ken
Jim? Kim? Kim? Okay, Kim. What's happening. Well,
I've got a problem with a roofingproduct that was installed on my house three
years ago. Interesting, what's theproblem. Well, that's one of the
(59:59):
synthetic shingles, the fifty year shingleproduct. What is it called, Well,
it's made by the f Waves company. Is it the hail proof like
plastic kind of thing. Yeah,it's a synthetic material. That's hailproof,
wind proof, you know, fiftyyear product. Yeah, I've heard you
(01:00:20):
mentioned mentioned f wave before with oneof your roofing companies that you deal with.
Well, I don't know if Idid. I know Mark mentioned yet.
I thought he was the one thathad that done. Maybe maybe I'm
wrong, but we have talked aboutit before. And who did your roof?
Well, p r Q Exteriors didan outstanding job. I've had no
(01:00:42):
issue with them. They've been superIt's the shingle product that what's wrong with
them? Well, I believe it'sa it's a defective material. What what
the representatives has told my roofing companyis that apparently there wasn't enough adhesive applied
(01:01:05):
to the underside of those shingles whenthey were Now are they saying just this
batch or are they claiming all ofthe f waves They're they're claiming the batch
that was installed in my roof didnot have a proper adhesive on it.
Oh, so what are they goingto do about it? Well, so
(01:01:27):
this roof was installed in twenty one, three years ago. The first winter
I noticed the roof, the machinleswere popping up and they they contact when
in twenty twenty one, during thefall, when the weather cooled off,
that's when the shot it. Okay, it's in the cooler. So they
(01:01:50):
advised PRQ to apply a silicone tothe underside of the shingles and tack them
down nails. So the PRQ didthat. The next winter two thousand fall
of twenty twenty two, the peelingstarted up again. You shouldn't mess You
shouldn't have to mess with us.You paid good money for that roof,
(01:02:12):
man, that's a fifty year roof. It's a fifty thousand dollars roof as
well. And did your insurance payfor that or did you pay for the
upgrade? The insurance paid for it. How did you get them to upgrade
you? It wasn't an upgrade.I had a high quality shingle on there
to begin with. But they okay, very good, very good. So
(01:02:32):
what's going on now? Where doesit stand right now? Well, the
second winter, the shingles popped upagain, and they came up with a
specially my made clip that they wantedinstalled to try and hold them down.
That's a come on, man, just why won't they just redo it?
Well, this is a this isthe third year now and they're still peeling
(01:02:57):
up after they had the clip.Wait a minute, so wait, you
him, you let him put thesilicone, and then you let them fix
it again, and you let himfix it. Let me get this straight.
You let him fix it three times. No, the first time they
put the silicone and nails to tackit down, and then the second time,
the second time they applied clips.Okay, and it's still coming up,
(01:03:21):
it's still coming out. And soI had a representative come out again
this spring, about a couple ofweeks ago, and he took it back.
I wrote a letter. He askedme to write a letter to the
company explaining what had been done inthe last three years. Their response was,
you can do one of two things. We can tack it all down
(01:03:43):
again, or you can put theclips on the whole roof again. But
they won't replace it. They won'treplace the roof. I think they're dead
wrong. Well you and to youand the roofing company, and I agree,
But are the installers agree? Fwave does not agree? Why do
(01:04:09):
they think you should accept this?Well, that's where I'm at with this.
I'm in My roofer thinks it's crazy. He thinks they're a big company
picking on the little guy and waitingto see what I'm going to do.
Well, I want to talk toone of our roofers, just to get
(01:04:30):
there, to get their input.Well, i'd like learning get a hold.
What's that? My concern is,I don't think whichever route I go,
tacking it down or putting clips on, will pass an inspection if I
ever want to sell this house.I'm not sure that. I don't think
that's your worry. I think myworry would be I bought a fifty year
(01:04:53):
damn roof and it's jury rigged well, and they'vemitted that the adhesive must not
have been applied correctly to the shinglespatch, and that's why you went with
an f wave shingle with a fiftyyear warranty exactly. Oh, this is
(01:05:14):
ridiculous. So they're going to fixit for fifty years. Well, I
don't know what they'll do because thefirst clips I applied to it didn't hold
them down. Why is that?Though? I find that very odd?
Well, why would hold on asecond? All right? I want to

Let's go to the phones. JayBrett's he's an expert. He's also the
owner of Excel Roofing. I've knownhim for many, many years, and
we were talking about f wave andapparently it's happening all over the country.
(01:09:24):
So I thought f wave was theShiznit's at first Tailproof hardy, but now
they're having a problem with adhesives andkeeping the keeping the damn roof on the
roof it's peeling up. And nowthey go out and they put silicone nails
or clips. The guy says,I didn't spend fifty grand for this,
And Jay, you're saying, aslong as they keep honoring the warranty,
(01:09:46):
just go with it. Well, how would you feel if you put a
very expensive roof on your house andevery year or so you got to have
people come out and fix the shinglesthat are coming up. And by the
way, I hear your point,Excel is not involved in this job.
I'm asking Jay as as an observerof the industry. Go ahead, Jay,
(01:10:06):
I totally get what you're saying,Tom, and for everybody out there.
The F wave shingles there, plasticshingles are about a quarter of an
inch stick. They kind of looklike a thick asphalt shingle and the plastic
nature of them, they are verybomb proof in my opinion, very resistant
to hail. So I think thatthat's great plastic shingles. Over the years,
(01:10:29):
we've seen discoloration problems as the mainproblem, and we thought that F
wave was the schnitzel. Also,to use your word sometimes what happens is
that the plastic. I don't know, if it's just the nature of the
material or whatever, it will liftup a little bit. I guess the
first question I have for Tim ishow bad are these things lifting up?
(01:10:49):
I mean, if it was myhouse and I had this roof and the
shingles were lifting up more than say, half an inch, I would be
really concerned. They're not. They'renot. It doesn't look like a bunch
of ski jumps on his roof. Then I would let the manufacturer continue to
work with it and see if itgets the problem under control. How far
(01:11:12):
are these shingles lifted him? They'reeasily a half inch, and it's probably
thirty to forty percent of the roof. It's not just a few shingles.
And I've got now, do theylift where they already repaired them or only
in the other sections? Well, the slope on our roof as such that
I can't get up there and lookat it. But as much as many
(01:11:36):
clips as they put on last year, they've got to be lifting up over
the clips and the clips didn't holdthem down, is what I'm saying.
But that the pictures are unbelievable.Did you send me the photos. Did
you send me the picks? Idid not. No, I didn't know
how to do that, but Ican. I might want Jay to take
(01:11:58):
a look at those and we'll callyou back. Jay, would you mind
taking a look at him? Certainly, I'll take a look at those.
Tom So, Kim, how oldis this work? It was installed in
twenty one, so it's three years. So the first three years worst spring,
first spring they did the adhesive andnails, and the last year they
did especially designed clips. And sonow I'm on the the third year,
(01:12:23):
trying to put a band aid onthe same. What percentage of it is
coming up now? I would saythirty to forty percent. That's amazing.
See that sucks. Inty percent islifting up half an inch. Some of
them are half an inch, someof them maybe not as much, but
significant. I mean, you lookat it. You wouldn't believe that it's
(01:12:47):
that somebody is living with that. Here's what I want to do again,

I was reading an article on Facebook. I believe it was with the Colorado
Suns that the Democratic Legislature has negotiatedwith polists and all of the fund whatever
(01:14:00):
millions or tens of millions are goingto be refunded, are going to low
income people. People that tay taxeswill not be getting any refund I'd have
not heard that. Are you sureof that? I tell you I read
it last night on I believe itwas the Colorado Sun that they had reached
(01:14:24):
an agreement and all of the refundswill be going to low income you mean
the additional refunds. Yes, Idon't know. I mean, I'll look
that up, but I don't knowabout that. And that was you know,
I mean, that's the only placeyou read about it. They're calling
it childcare tax credits that are goingto low income people. Okay, I'm
(01:14:51):
going to look it up. ThatI'm just and I believe it was.
I believe the paper or the organizationwas because Colorado sucks and it's for low
income and what is it being calledchildcare tax credits? Oh? Wait that
well, childcare tax credits are awhole different thing, man. That's how
(01:15:14):
they're going to return the Taver refund. Okay, I don't know, bro,
I'm looking it up. I'm doingall kinds of searching as we're talking.
But let me see if anyone elseknows about that or heard about that.
Thank you, Chuck. Threeh threeseven one three eight two five five.
Gary, you have a question ondisability. What is it? Gary?
(01:15:39):
Hey, Tom just got back fromthe doctor and find out I've got
four crush discs in my back andarthritis, and he told me that I
was I would qualify for social securitydisability? Can you recommend? How old
are you? Gary sixty two anda half? Okay, and why do
(01:16:03):
you feel can you do no workat all? And it can't be improved?
As you know? I mean,I don't care. I mean,
if you go on disability, youcan always work on fixing it and get
off disability. But what are yourplans? I don't know. I'm just
in pain and after these X rays, I'm just bone on bone and with
(01:16:24):
the arthritis, and I'm in pain. And he said I would qualify,
so I thought I'd look into it. Okay, So you're looking for an
attorney that does that. Yeah, okay, Pete McGuire, okay, three

(01:18:32):
here three o three seven to onethree talk. Okay, so on the
table, Yes, they are considering. It doesn't say here on any of
the articles I'm reading that it hasbeen approved finally yet, but they are
trying to redirect about seven hundred millionof Tabor refunds from wealthier families to low
(01:19:00):
or income families. They want toprovide thirty two hundred per child for kids
under six and twenty four hundred perchild between six and sixteen to the lowest
of income families. So that issomething you know, isn't it funny?
How listen to this. We payincome taxes in this state and they get
(01:19:26):
a surplus, and according to TaborTaxpayers Bill of Rights, they're supposed to
refund that. And ever since theTaxpayers Bill of Rights have been implemented,
ever since, the lawmakers do nothingbut try to keep it. They try
(01:19:47):
everything they can to keep it,and when they can't keep it, then
they want to redirect it. Itwas our income tax to begin with,
and it was a surplus. Soafter the fact, they're saying, now
that you've given it to us,we do not want to give it back.
(01:20:10):
So they come up with all kindsof reasons to keep it or divert
it. You should get it back. It's a tax refund. It's not
a charity. Why is it thatthe government believes your money is their money,
and then they decide how much youget to keep. Why is that
(01:20:32):
it's the other way around. Don'tyou think it's counterintuitive? You would think
that if you're a legislature that givingmoney to your constituents would curry favor with
them as opposed to not giving itto them, which would get them really
upset. Well, that's what youwould think. But let me explain something
(01:20:53):
in the law of politics that I'vetried to get through time and time again.
And here it is. When you'reof a particular political ILK, and
I'm not saying no matter what ilkit is, you are willing to forego
pain. You are over You're willingto overlook your personal ethics. You're willing
(01:21:15):
to overlook your religion, You're overlookingevery family ties, friendships in order to
be politically right. I don't meanright as right or left. I mean
politically correct in your mind. Andyou are willing to go through pain and
suffering for it. If this countrygoes to hell, as long as their
(01:21:38):
party is in office, they're willingto go through hell. I've said it
before. Political pressure is the strongest, the strongest pressure there is it breaks
up marriages, it breaks up families. Listen, you have people making the
(01:21:59):
sign of the crown for their religion, and then you know saying there's nothing
wrong with abortion. And again,I'm not going to give you my belief
on a board. I'm just sayingthat there's a dichotomy there. You can
belong to a religion that absolutely positivelyoutlaws something, but if your political party
is for it, you will overlookthat part of your religion. So and
(01:22:20):
by the way, I'm not makinga judgment. Well, I'm saying like
it is, and you know that'show it is. That's exactly how it
is. First in life comes thissurvival, absolute survival, breathing and food
and water. Right then politics, even above family. I swear to God,
you don't think I'm telling you thetruth. Talk to parents and kids
(01:22:43):
who don't talk to each other anymorebecause of politics. Talk to best friends
all of their lives that don't talkto anybody. They don't talk to each
other anymore. Politics, politics, politics, So Doc, you say,
why can politicians do this? Becausethey're ill. They believe if they give
the money to the poor, they'redoing what they're supposed to do. And
(01:23:03):
everyone in that party will follow thesame with the other party. If they
do what they believe is right accordingto their party, everyone in their party
will go along with it. You'renot going to ever admit you're wrong.
That's it, and you know that'swhat it is. And I'm talking about
all political parties. If it's accordingto your party, you will grin and
(01:23:28):
you will bear it. You willoverlook a man who can hardly wipe his
ass if you want him to bepresident because it is your party. Or
you'll overlook a man who's accused ofdozens and dozens and dozens of crimes and
grabs women's genitals. Why because itis your party. Now, I know
(01:23:55):
both parties hate me right now becausewhat I'm saying, But it's true.
Whatever your party is is right, whatever the other party is is wrong.
And I don't mean right as andright, I just mean correct and incorrect.
God, I'm so sick and tiredof it. I wish people truly
honest to God and truly wild, truly their their their heart and their conscience,
(01:24:18):
not just political pressure. But thatwill never happen. That will never
ever ever happen. Politics are thenumber one force, number one Chris,
what's happening with you? Chris? What's going on? Hey? Tom good
more, good afternoon. What's goingon? Then? I'm in a situation
(01:24:41):
and I need some help. Whatdo you have a situation? This sounds
serious? What's this? Go ahead? My own two houses. One of
them's free and clear. One ofthem we have a two hundred thousand dollars
note on it. The house that'sfree and clear, we have been renting
for eight years, nine years now. I only kick tenants out because we
(01:25:01):
need to leave Colorado. I've donealmost all of the work to fix it
up, to get it ready tosell. But I heard the one that's
free and clear. What is itworth? Uh, we're probably gonna put
on a market on six hundred,it's okay. And the one that the
one that you live in. Howmuch equity over five hundred? So but
(01:25:26):
you still owe money on it?Right? Yes, there's still a two
hundred thousand dollars note on it.Then okay, got it? So what
what is your question? All right? My question is I'm trying to fix
up this rental and I'm almost done, and I hurt myself and I can't
finish the work. And one ofthe problems is a family member borrowed some
(01:25:51):
money without our permission or knowledge, and well wait, wait, wait,
how do they borrow money without permissionor knowledge? That's called steal, that's
not called borrowing family member? Andshe will sir, are you there,

(01:27:30):
comment on Tabor. Mike, goahead. What's your comment? Uh?
Yes, Tom, As a matterof fact, I called the several times
previously, but apparently last week orso could not get someone onnest for the
CPA or account or you know thattype of thing. Well, hold on,
do you still need a question onthat? By the way, you
still get her? Well, we'lldo that. We'll do that afterwards.
(01:27:50):
What's your comment on Tabor? Well, you know I went ahead and filed
on an extension. Uh as such? What? Oh wait wait wait,
you were wondering where your refund was. Well, no, because my CPA
is telling me that it's disallowed ifyou go ahead and do an extension and
(01:28:10):
that wait wait wait, wait wait, what is disallowed? You're not disallowed.
Well, that's from what I'm tryingto do over the weekend I went
through. You know, I've gota different, different information from the Department
of Revenue and as far well, what did the Department of Revenue tell you?
What they're saying is that if youfiled a extension as far as a
(01:28:38):
federal return, then you're allowed asfar as the TABOR but you won't be
able to go ahead and file forthat until the twenty fourteen return. You
can't get it between you know, even though you did an extension, you
can't get it before then. No, no, no, you only get
it after your final tax return isfiled. Right. Well, they're saying
(01:29:00):
here is that you won't get untilyour twenty twenty four return is filed.
Okay, credit, here's what theysay. Okay, I'm looking on their
site. Okay, say it's notIt does not quit disqualify you. But
if you don't file by the Aprilfifteenth deadline, you may have to wait.
(01:29:24):
After the filing deadline. You haveto wait until your until they know
what your taxes really are. That'swhat that's the bottom line. And so
it could come into the next year. But you won't be cheated out of
it. Well from the information I'vegot to you know it from the well,
sorry you got you got wrong information. They don't keep it. Okay,
(01:29:45):
So what can I tell you,Mike, you got wrong information?
Unless their own website is wrong, you don't You're not disqualified. Okay,
so what I did file do ifyou if you file an extension, you
are still eligible for the refund andit won't be applied towards twenty twenty four.
(01:30:13):
You'll get it, We'll say,if I filed here this, I
don't know when you get it.They say you're still qualified and upon filing
your final your final taxes, youwill get it. Okay, Okay,
that's all I know, man,I mean, I can't go. That's
what they're telling me on tabor,on the on the website. So you
know, I don't know why youthink you're not going to get it.
(01:30:34):
Mike, It's wrong. You willget it. They do not take it
away for filing an extension. Okay, So I'm not going to say it
again, Chris. Let's go backto you, Chris, as far as
this contractor goes, Now, youown a home, one mortgaged for two
hundred with a five hundred thousand dollarsequity, the other one free and clear
for six hundred. You want tosell both and get out of Dodge,
(01:30:56):
right, yes, sir, butyou're trying to fix up which house?
Now? One night we owned FrankClear, this was a rental property and
right you want to fix up therental. So what's wrong? Pretty much
nothing. I've done almost all ofthe work. It's just I hurt myself
and I'm having a hard time finishingthe job by myself. Yeah, and
(01:31:20):
when we found out our money wasmissing, Bacon, we'll hold on her.
Now. When you say money wastaken, that's right. The relative
stole your money. How much money? One hundred and sixteen thousand dollars?
And who is the relative person?Okay, so you won't get him arrested.
(01:31:44):
How did he take the money? My wife's disabled and we had a
trust set up and he was aco trustee. Okay, got it.
So how did he use the money? He had substance abuse issues? What's
that? Substance abuse issues? Okay? So now what is your question for
(01:32:05):
us? Chris? Do you knowany contractors that would be way to work
with me and help me finish thisand either accept payment after the fact,
can do financing? Or do youknow ways that I can tap into?
Yes? I do no ways, yes, fairly quick. Yes, there
are ways you can do it.Yes to all of them. Now,
(01:32:28):
do you have let me ask yousomething. Do you have any income at
all or both disabled okay. Nowcapituli security and I get via disability.
Okay, so you're not going toqualify for a loan. Probably not?
Okay, well you will. Howold did you say you were? Sixty
(01:32:48):
two? Oh no, I'm Mywife is fifty five. Okay, you
can get a reverse loan even atfifty. There are certain reverse loans you
can get. They're expensive, meaningthey're going to cost you for points up
front, not like hundreds of that. I mean they're going to cost you,
(01:33:10):
you know, six, seven, eight, maybe ten grand. You're
going to get a loan enough tofinish that house. But you on your
primary residence, where you have allof that equity, you can easily get
a reverse loan. You don't haveto qualify as far as income. You
(01:33:31):
will have enough money to fix upin a line of credit the house and
then it's not going to hurt youor eat up too much equity because you're
going to sell both houses and payit off. Okay, that's what I
would do. How long would thattake to happen? Approximately? Do you
have any estimates? You could probablyget it in six weeks? Yeah,
(01:33:57):
okay, now maybe less. Youshould call one of our people in power
reverse dot com talk to Mark Masseyin Power Reverse. Now, listen,
I'm gonna tell you something. Hedoes these. It's a little more expensive
because you're not both sixty two,but you can get it done, and
(01:34:25):
you really should because other than that, you're gonna lose it. Here's the
number seven to zero five hundred sevenseven one nine. The only other thing
I could recommend is maybe if yougo to a contractor maybe like Genesis Total
(01:34:47):

(01:42:24):
Okay, let's talk and see whatwe can do for you in your life.
Okay, that's what we do eachand every day Drew is talking about
something he's upset about, and thatis his doctor and all of that was
this after an accident, Drew,Yeah, yeah, and what was prescribed
(01:42:46):
to you that they're refusing what wasprescribed. I'm supposed to get physical therapy.
Yeah, I have two large terrorstsin the right knee. And I
also, now, who's refusing toWho's refusing to give you this? Uh,
(01:43:06):
physical therapy through Jersey manufacturer's insurance?Wait? Wait, wait, hold
on the insurance company? Does doyou have physical therapy coverage? Yes,
they're refusing it. I haven't seenany reason. They're just refusing it,
(01:43:28):
saying well, hold on now, hold on. So it's not the provider
refusing it, it's the insurance companyrefusing it. Yes, how do you
know you have coverage for physical Notall? Not all insurances cover physical therapy
because I was told by the physicaltherapist. That's not the issue. The
(01:43:49):
issue is the car insurance company isrefusing to provide payments, saying it's not
yes necessary, But the doctor haswritten are you prescriptions that I needed?
And I do need it. I'vegot an injured back, injured right knee.
Okay, hold on, do youhave medal. Well hold on in
(01:44:15):
New York or Jersey? Where wasthis accident? Through two eighty seven north
near what state? Bro I justneed to know what state New Jersey?
In New Jersey? Is it inno fault state? I don't know much
about that. All I know isthe state troopers sell me totally. Here's
(01:44:39):
what I want to know. Areyou no if this was the result of
a car accident, is the otherparty paying for your expenses? Or do
you have any kind of medical paymentcoverage? The other party paid for the
damage to the vehicle. My insurancecompany is supposed to pay for physical therapy
(01:45:00):
a New Jersey manufacturer. Is ityour car insurance company or your health insurance
company? My car insurance company?Okay, I get what you're saying,
insurance and then when that runs out'ssupposed to go through medicare. No,
I get it. I get it. So you're saying that your car insurance
(01:45:21):
company is supposed to pay who isyour carrier on your car? New Jersey
manufacturers? I never heard of thatbefore. Okay, Doc, can I
make a suggestion? Yeah? Hey, Drew just asked the doctor who wrote
(01:45:42):
the prescriptions to write the letters ofthe insurance company, and a lot of
times that will do it. Ifhe writes a letter saying that it's necessary
and he prescribes it, very often, that will turn the tables. Thank
you for that. That's very niceto you. Is there an appeal process
with the with the insurance company. My attorney just got the information, so
(01:46:06):
he said he's going to get anothernote from the doctor and he should give
it to where again to do what? Yeah, you should you should send
it to the insurance company that's refusing. In other words, the insurance company,
they have what's called managed care, meaning that they look at your case
(01:46:28):
and because there are let's put itthis way, Drew, there are some
doctors that will prescribe anything, andthey're saying, just because it's prescribed by
your doctor doesn't mean it's medically necessary. So they need to understand why your
doctor is recommending it. Right. There's another reason too, because the insurance
companies, I may need to getan operation on my right knee, there's
(01:46:53):
too large terrors there. They won'tallow the operation until you get the physical
therapy. And they're denying the physicaltherapy, so it doesn't make any sense
what they're doing. And the doctoris a good doctor. He's written,
and I need therapy for the rightknee and the left back. Oh man,
(01:47:16):
I I just don't understand why yourinsurance company is flat out refusing it.
I mean, really, the onlyreason I heard from the physical therapist's
office is they're claiming I don't needit, but they're not giving any reason.
They're just saying I don't need it. But there's an appeal process for
that. Listen. I would dowhat Doc says. First, have your
(01:47:39):
doctor write a letter, not justa prescription, but a short letter as
to why you need it that youcan provide to your insurance company. And
then I would also go to theinsurance commissioner in New Jersey saying that they're
refusing care. Okay, good idea, and then threaten this when you talk
to them in a nice way,bad faith, that they're not giving you
(01:48:03):
what you contracted to get. Justdo that and see what I think you
might get. A reaction that mightsurprise you. Three zero three seven one

We are here to help you solveproblems, answer questions, take complaints,

(01:48:27):
as possible. So earlier, bythe way, this was a real fiasco
because now I'm looking up more andmore stories, and there's all kinds of
conflicting reports. But here's the bottomline. Yes, some dollar stores and
dollar trees are closing, not allof them, not the majority of them.
However, I did mention it becauseI mentioned in the beginning one of
the articles mentioned that a lot ofthem were closing. That turned out to
(01:48:50):
be a bunch of garbage, bythe way, and here's another thing.
There is a move across the countrybecause of the expense of doing business that
if you are making reservations now orappointments and don't make them, more and
(01:49:13):
more companies are now going to chargeno show fees no shows. That goes
for hairstylists, that goes for regularrestaurant reservations, that goes they're getting your
agreement that if you do not showup, they're going to charge you.
Doctors, of course, have longdone that for certain appointments. Dentists are
(01:49:35):
doing it, but they're going tostart doing it for other service industries as
well. In fact, if youmake an appointment to have someone come to
your home for something and you're notthere. They're starting to charge no show
fees or cancellation fees. Again,is this legal? People ask? Here's
(01:49:55):
the bottom line. If you agreeto it at the the beginning of your
relationship, then your business relationship, they can do it. They cannot arbitrarily
do it and say well, we'rejust gonna charge it. They can't.
Okay, they might want to,but they can't necessarily do it unless it's
part of your original agreement. Wehave more coming up on the Troubleshooter show.

this. You'll never find a betterdeal. I mean, I don't care
what you say. Now, therewas some confusions aboudies that we called.
They didn't know about it. Listen, they do know about it. So
if you call, no matter what, make the booking, you will get
the price. Just make a noteof it. They keep breactions of ball
calls. The price is so extraordinary. At first a couple of people thought
(01:52:15):
it was a mistake. It's notthirteen dollars you get your furnace clean,
thirteen dollars you get your ac clean. Get both cleaned for twenty six bucks,
No gimmicks, nothing. Now.Listen, they go there not with
the sight of selling you something, but of fixing and cleaning and adjusting and
tuning and getting you more efficiency.Okay, bottom line, that's what they
do. Now. If there issomething wrong, they're going to bring it
(01:52:38):
to your attention. But there's nopressure ever, Tana. I want to
make that clear. That's not thepurpose is to find something wrong. A
lot of places do that. Theseguys want to get in and out.
They want you to be pleased withthem. No, I mean that's the
whole idea. When you have longterm success, that's because of relationships and
what we really say, this isall about education. It's showing what's going
on the system, then offering options. But really, if you're getting that
(01:53:00):
system maintained once a year, rightbefore the summer, that is the best
thing that you can do for yourinvestment. Whether it is the bills every
single month or making sure that thatsystem is going to run and not have
an expensive breakdown. And you knowwe're only doing this price Tom for your
people. You and George are goodfriends. At the thirteen dollars price,
you're not going to find it anywhereelse. And it ends it to o'clock.
(01:53:21):
You've been calling like crazy. Okay, so okay, good, we
went way beyond the twenty sixth thankyou, But it ends at two o'clock.
So if you want to get infor the for the twenty six bucks,
you'll never I mean, look, once you have it done, I'm
convinced there's no one who's going tohave it done and think they got screwed
on this one. They got. That's the best deal ever. And you
(01:53:44):
increase your efficiency and keep track ofthat. Now, by the way,
as of the latest, here's whatwe're being told the redirection of tabor funds.
One guy said it was a donedeal. I can't find forification of
that. But they are trying withthe balance that's due us. See,
(01:54:05):
they paid a certain amount and thenthere's a balance due that they didn't pay.
We're being told that they're diverting thatto low income families for childcare.
Credits up to thirty four hundred bucks. I can't find where it actually has
been finalized yet, but I'm tryingto do this while I'm also on the
(01:54:27):
air, so you have to giveme some grace here. If any of
you have found differently, let meknow whether or not it has actually gone
through for sure, because I doknow they're trying their damnness to get the
rest of our money. And Isay our money because it is our money.
(01:54:50):
It's the bottom line, it's ourmoney. It is absolutely not there
for them. It's overpaid money tothe tax biller tax Payer's Bill of Rights
TABOR that they're supposed to refund thatmoney. Again, they refunded some.
There was a balanced and now they'retrying to divert that. Okay, you've
(01:55:13):
probably heard with what's happening with theminimum wage all over the country. And
by the way, I'm not sayingit's bad or good or anything. I'm
just saying, with what's happening withminimum wages around the country, you're having
fast food joints now missing their earnings. Picture that doesn't mean they're losing money
(01:55:33):
by any means, but the earningsare not as optimistic. They're missing their
estimates. See estimates of earnings aregiven out on a quarterly basis, and
they're given out sometimes sometimes some morethan that, but it's usually quarterly.
They give out what an estimate willbe for earnings in hopes that stockholders will
(01:55:57):
be energized, and then when theygo beyond that, it's really good news.
But if they don't hit the earnings, it sometimes doesn't farewell for stock
prices. But the companies are obligatedto tell the truth and not to exaggerate
on the earnings or be pessimistic. They're supposed to try to be on target.
(01:56:20):
Here's the deal. Fast food placesare missing targets because their labor has
gone sky high. So the ideawas to try to make all jobs at
least support a family. It's notgoing to ever happen, but that's what
they're trying to do. But here'swhat's really going to happen. More and
(01:56:45):
more fast food joints are looking fora are looking to ai kiosks to fill
orders. Drive throughs kiosks restaurants withoutpeople or maybe two people where there used
to be twelve. And now eventhough the minimum wage is being raised,
(01:57:09):
we're having less people make that minimumwage, or they might make a little
more than minimum wage, but there'sgoing to be fewer of them. So
it's really having the opposite effect ofwhat people think it will have. It
is, it's not helping to giveus more well paying jobs. If anything,
(01:57:32):
it's doing the opposite. It isactually kind of making it more difficult
on workers. And that's just theway it is. Whenever we try to
screw with the economy, that's whathappens, because we do it with the
idea. I'm sure everyone's idea isto try to make life easier for people.
Now there's another thing going on,and I want to know how you
(01:57:57):
feel about this one. It's calledtipflation. That's a nickname given to it.
You know what I mean. Ifyou're paying more for items at a
restaurant. It used to be fifteenpercent, right then it got to be
twenty percent, But you're paying moreanyway, so now it's twenty percent.
And since the average ticket is morethan it used to be, the twenty
(01:58:23):
percent of that ticket would logically bemore. But servers and people in the
business of getting tips say we shouldactually be doing more than twenty percent,
even though the ticket items are goingup, we should now be tipping twenty
five percent. See this part.I don't understand by the way. I'll
(01:58:45):
tip really well if it's great service. I've tipped up to thirty percent,
but I tip ten or nothing ifit's really bad. I've never had service
that bad where I don't tip anything, not in a long time. But
as far as twenty percent, whyisn't twenty percent adequate? If the ticket
(01:59:08):
items have gone up with inflation, the tip increases with inflation. But that's
not what these people are saying whoare in the industry. According to this
article, they're saying that people inthe service industry believe that it should be
now twenty five percent, in somecases even twenty six percent. So think
(01:59:31):
about that. If you're at arestaurant and you spend, it doesn't sound
that bad with lower amounts, right, I mean, if you have twenty
five percent, what do you think? But when you start getting up into
a bill, let's say a twohundred dollars bill, come on, I
mean that could be that could behefty. What do you think? Now
(01:59:55):
on a smaller bill, it doesn'tsound that bad. But here's how I
do it with smaller bills. Twopercentages. If I'm going out to breakfast
and things are only fifteen or twentybucks, I don't ever tip less on
breakfast ever than ten dollars. Imean, I don't care what it is.
If it's twenty bucks, it's tendollars. If it's thirty bucks,
it's ten dolls. Because they workhard for breakfast. You know, there's
(02:00:17):
a lot of pick up, alot of coffee, a lot of different
things. When it gets to bemore than that. Though I've not gone
over twenty percent, do you thinkthat's wrong? Do you think we should
start doing over twenty percent? Iswhat I'd like to know. Plus,
of course, we're always taking yourcalls at three zero three seven one to

seven one three eight two five five. Matthew, Welcome to the show.
What's going on with you? Matthew? I got a quick question for you.
(02:01:32):
I own a house free and clear, and I want to make sure
that if something when I die orsomething happens, I want to leave it
to my siblings or one of mysiblings. What's the what's the smartest way
to do that? Through the willor do the trust? Well, you
you don't need a trust for onehouse. How much do you have in
addition to a house? Just thehouse, only the house. You can
(02:01:55):
do whatever you do, don't doit before you die. Do a beneficiary's
deed? You You can do abeneficiary deed to your siblings. But if
you do that, they have tohave an agreement among themselves as to what
percentage they each get or it willall be equal. Okay, do you
(02:02:17):
want to leave it equally? Whatif can I leave it to like one?
And then say if something happens tothat one, and then you go
down the list there's three of them. Yes, yes you can, Yes
you can. You should have anattorney do it to make sure it's some
right, but yes you can dothat. You don't have to leave it
to all of them. You canleave it to one in a beneficiary deed.
(02:02:40):
Then what would happen if you didthat is it would automatically go to
their estate, not necessarily the othersibling. If you want to do the
stair step that you said, firstsibling, second sibling, third sibling,
then you have to do it adifferent way that you would have to do
in a will. So what youwould do is do a beneficiary deed,
(02:03:03):
but in the will specify that ifthat person is deceased, then it goes
to the next and then the next. So you need a combination. And
of course you can always do ayou know, I mean it gets more
complicated a trust, but you reallydon't need that. Okay, so do
(02:03:28):
you have for let me ask yousomething about your house. First, how
much equity do you have? Idon't know. It was given to me.
It was given to be my grandfatherfive years ago and it's so it's
he's had it since the fifties,So I don't know now when you say
it was given to you, didhe die He died recently, but he
(02:03:50):
gave it to me. Well,he was still alive, he signed over
the Okay, so you inherited hisbasis on that house, which means that
if you tried to sell it,there'd be a lot of taxes to pay.
What's the house worth about? Well, I think the last appraisal is
four to fifty. Yeah, soyou have four point fifty. You have
(02:04:15):
four to fifty of equity because youdon't have any loan, right, So
that's that's some good money. That'ssome good money. However, you have
no loan on it now, rightcorrect. Yeah, So if you if
you, by the way, don'tmake the mistake a set I say,
I said of quick claiming it,make sure that you put it in your
(02:04:38):
will or a beneficiary deed. Soon the day of your death, what
would happen is they would get thestepped up basis, meaning a higher basis,
which would mean in the in essence, lower taxes for them. Okay,
I hope that makes sense. Youought to try calling one of our
attorney Dan McKenzie would be great forthat. It wouldn't cost you that much
(02:05:01):
at all. And he does stufflike that all the time on a one
up basis, and that's mackenzie law. Eight three three c plans eight three
three co plans. All right,So Hannah, some of the feedback as
far as they want to know whenthis ends, because I heard Kaschina trying
(02:05:23):
to explain it to people. Soon the twenty six dollars meaning thirteen each,
you don't have to have them bothdone, but if you do it,
it's twenty six. If you haveone done, it's thirteen bucks.
These are going to be good throughtwo o'clock. You can make the appointment
up through two o'clock. It doesn'thave to be done today, is that
right correct? You just need tobook it today, get it on the
bus before. Yes. So youhave like whatever nine minutes, ten minutes,
(02:05:46):
Yeah, you can. You canhit a little more, a little
more than ten. You have eighteenminutes or something, So call now a
seven to zero five, two, six, thirty nine, thirty nine or
can you do I don't know ifyou can get it on the website.
Can you go on the website rightnow and get it done. You should
call right now because we only havea few minutes. So to make sure
(02:06:09):
you get in there and you specifywhich one you want done or if you
want it both, you should getthem both for twenty six plus. You'll
be crazy not to And that's sevento zero five two, six thirty nine
thirty nine. Again. You knowyou can increase efficiency, no breakdown guarantee,
blah blah blah blah blah. Allright. In consumer stuff, that's
(02:06:30):
really important. What we're finding outis that people on YouTube are cheap skates,
my morons. I'm trying to figureout what they feel is a correct
tip. This is something where Idisagree with a little tipping on to go
orders. People feel like they shouldnot tip on a to go order.
(02:06:54):
And I've seen people work their assesoff on a to go order. Now
it's not the same as serving you, but they put it together, they
package everything up. They're working atthe counter, they're not working at tables.
They're doing just to go, andI think they should get some kind
of some kind of tip. Whatdo you think, Hannah, I don't
(02:07:15):
think they should. I don't know. Well, you know, I worked
in college in the restaurant industry, and it does take a lot of time.
So what I do I do togo is not just throwing it in
a bag and handing it to youeighty five bucks, you know, just
something for their time. That's howI handle it personally. Anyway, somebody
said, if they're standing up whenthey order or get served, they don't
(02:07:36):
pay a tip. It is interestingtoo because you see this, you know,
I mean, I think of placeslike Starbucks where I know they get
paid well, but you're standing rightnext to them when you decide whether to
tip or not and they're watching. You can feel the pressure. Do you
ever feel that? Yeah? Howabout this? How about when the new
(02:07:58):
little key oscar or the iPad orthe whatever where you have your card,
then they turn it around to youand then it has a tip ten twenty
Well, no, it's usually fifteentwenty twenty five. Uh huh okay or
custom right, yep. Custom. So on small things like if I just
get a little cup of yogurt orsomething out as frozen yogur or something,
(02:08:18):
I'm not gonna tip seventy nine centsor a buck twenty five. I always
do a minimum of two bucks forthat. You know what I mean,
and it might be percentage wise high, but I mean, these are there
if they work hard, they're smiling, they're trying to help you. I
like tipping. Okay, I don'tover tip, but I do like tipping.
I think these kids deserve tips. But as far as here's another wrinkle,
(02:08:43):
I'm a little pissed off when therestaurants have service fees or what do
they call them? They call themservice fees right, yeah, or they
call them yeah, that's what theycall or surcharge of some kind. Now
here, here's the thing. Thenthey still have the tip line. Well,
I was at a place, areally nice hotel or resort, and
(02:09:07):
they had a service fee, aresort fee, have twenty percent. They
call it their service fee. Butthen they had a tip line, and
I'm thinking, oh, I'm sorry, I don't think I want to tip
above the twenty percent. I mean, that's a lot of money. So
what do you do in that casewhen they have a service fee? Do
(02:09:28):
you subtract it from what you wouldnormally tip or does this substitute what you
would normally tip. What I dois I ask the server, I say,
does this go to you? Ifit goes to them? Then if
I would do more, I doa little bit more, or if that
was the base amount that I founda lot of times when I asked the
server that say, well, that'sa service stars, so we all split
it. Yeah, so what doyou do? I mean, that's where
(02:09:52):
it's getting odd. But a lotof restaurants are adding it as a service
fee. So I say, whynot just raise prices in general and have
no tipping. I'm wondering. I'mwondering, he would that be good?
Bad? What do you think?Hey? Tom? Yeah? So Ryan
and I were just at Casa Benitathis lesson. How was it? By
(02:10:16):
the way, I actually liked it. I thought the food was a very
big step above. Oh yeah, sure, So we kind of went on
like a little double date thing. But they don't allow tipping anymore. They've
raised the prices, so it's notan all you can eat thing like it
(02:10:37):
used to be. Okay, andyou don't have to take an entire roll
of tombs before you go. It'sconsiderably better in terms of quality. But
yes you don't and there's a lotof up charges. I'm not gonna lie
about that. So if you wantto drink and you want it brought to
(02:10:58):
your table or whatever. You know, there's a charge for that, but
you don't tip, so everything isbuilt in so at the end of the
night, that's it, and Ihad no problem with it. But the
food, the food, is itlike a good Mexican restaurant? Now,
would you say a good Mexican restaurant? I think that is a little bit
(02:11:18):
of a stretch, is it like? Okay? Is it like so it's
not like a good Mexican restaurant. Now would it be comparable to like haciendas?
No? Okay? Is it comprehend? Is it in Taco bell?
Yes? Yes, but it's waybetter than it used to be, is
(02:11:39):
what you're saying. Yes, Imean, like I said, what are
the prices? Like? In general, it's forty five dollars per person and
that is included in everything. Butthat does not include any alcoholic beverages.
So if you want a margarita ora glass of wine or whatever, it's
a little bit of another charge forthat. And then you only get one
(02:12:03):
order of soap apios, which isan order of four, So if you
want another order of soap a pios, you have to pay a dollar for
it. So that's what I'm sayingabout up charges, and there's like different
sauces that you can get which arealso upcharges. Call but I thought it
was okay, but they they havethat whole structure of you don't you don't
(02:12:26):
tip, they I get pay it. Yeah, I like that. I
like that. Three oh three sevenone three eight two five five. Go

(02:13:56):

appreciate that. Now on some lastminute notes here, I made a rant
about how people will undergo political painin order to or excuse me economic pain
and pain. And you know they'llthey'll put up with crime, they'll put
up with inflation, they'll put upwith this, they'll put up with that,
(02:14:16):
they'll put up with immorality, they'llput up with whatever, if it

who doesn't know one of the maingoals of democrats is redistribution of wealth and
(02:14:41):
blah blah blah, and of course, I know you get the other one
