Speaker 2 (00:36):
Welcome beautiful people to organic healthy lifestyle and I'm Nancy Addison,
your host, and I always start off my show with
a prayer, and so if you'd please join me in
whichever way you would like, I just ask our Divine Creator,
as we stand on the threshold of a new year,
we come before you with hearts full of gratitude and expectations.
(00:58):
We thank you for the gifts you have bestowed on
us in the past year, and we dedicate this new
year to being as wise and thoughtful with our words,
kind with our works, and loving and patient with our family,
our friends, and our neighbors. And we ask for your
divine support with all of this, and also with our
(01:21):
countries and those who find themselves as leaders. Please fill
these people with your love and your wisdom so that
they can serve with divine grace, truth and works that
benefit all people. Father, we ask for your divine wisdom
and discernment as we navigate the unknown paths of this
(01:43):
new year, and grant us clarity of vision to see
the opportunities that you place before us, and the courage
to pursue them boldly. May this be a year of
spiritual growth. Transform us into your image with ever increasing glory,
and use us as your instruments for love and peace
(02:05):
and healing in a world that so desperately needs it.
Give us discipline and perseverance to pursue the dreams You've
placed in our hearts. And may everything we do bring
glory to you, Divine Creator. And we ask for your
protection and provision to abundantly supply all that we need
as we embark on this new year. Thank you, Lord
(02:28):
for the new beginnings and fresh starts. May this year
be marked by your abundant blessings Mighty works in and
through our lives. And I ask this in the highest
good of all concerned, for everyone listening now and for
everyone listening in the future. And thank you. And so
it is so as we embark on this new year.
(02:51):
I just wanted to mention one thing, because I know
that this has been going on in the US, but
there there's been some kind of weird fog over parts
of the US in this last month in January, and
(03:12):
what I've found through many of my research things, and
in particular ke In Kingston, who used to work for
a pharmaceutical company and is now a whistleblower telling the truth.
She has a really great blog on her substack called
stop Spraying Us with elis Ariosold Pandemics, and she goes
(03:35):
into depth on how the government has created these bioweapons.
You know, we all know that these viruses have never
been isolated. I've had so many guests on talking about
this that all the images that we see at viruses
(03:55):
anywhere are just computer generated stuff that I don't know.
I think it was one hundred and over one hundred
freedom of information requests for the government to provide the
evidence of any isolated virus and they've never been able
(04:16):
to do that. So, you know, one thing I've realized
is that there are no transmissible germs and that type
of thing. And what happens is if you're in an
airplane and you get sick, it's not the person who's coughing.
It is the poison that they've sprayed throughout the airplane
(04:39):
that is breaking down your immune system, and we just
get exposed to a lot of these toxins from a
lot of these different things, including these aerosolized bioweapons that
they are kim trailing us with. And so if you
want to look more into this, you can go to
(05:01):
Karen Kingston substack dot com. If you can't find it,
please contact me and I'll send you a link. But
one of the things she says on there is that
doctor Dimitri that's how La Duskalaskis stated that he said
(05:23):
this on CNN that there has been no evidence of
human to human transmission of the H five N one
bird flu. And what's interesting is I've posted this particular
thing on Facebook on my business account about a week ago,
and it was immediately removed. So obviously they don't want
(05:48):
people to see it. And they say they removed it
because it was spam, but it's not spam. And obviously
they don't want you to know that this bird flu
that they trying to make everybody afraid of, they're trying
to make it look like it is like COVID so
they can have another lockdown, so that they can take
(06:09):
away all our freedoms and our rights, and they can
force you to do whatever it is they want you
to do. So everybody out there, stay strong, stay in
your faith, and be tough against these crazy people who
are trying to overtake the world with their global dominance,
(06:31):
in their narcissistic approach. But as we embark on this
new year, I thought today that I would talk about
our vision for this coming year and how we're viewing
the world, and so much of that has to do
with our eyesight. And I've had so many health counseling
(06:52):
clients and friends and different people over the last few
months tell me that they have been struggling with like
vision problems, with blurry vision, things like that. So I
thought I would talk about vision health and how we
can improve our eyesight today and if you have any questions,
(07:13):
you can always put it in the chat. And this
is a topic that's very dear to my heart because
when I was in high school, I was diagnosed with
degenerative eyesight and I was told quite literally that I
was going to go blind because of that. When I
(07:35):
was older, I ended up volunteering at the Lighthouse for
the Blind for fifteen years and working with people who
had lost their vision, and it was a wonderful volunteer job,
and the people I worked with were so sweet, and
many of them had lost their eyesight because of diabetes
(07:56):
or a stroke or different things like that. But it
does make us focus on, you know, what can we
do to make our eyesight stronger and better and more
protected in today's world. So one of the things that
I have found that really affects our eyesight is that
(08:18):
in today's world, we are surrounded by electromagnetic field radiation
just about everywhere we go. You know, they've got satellites launched,
they've got all of these towers up everywhere you go
that they put up immediately when they started the COVID
pancdemic going on. And these electromagnetic field radiations can cause
(08:41):
really dry eyes, and dry eyes can be a real problem.
Lubrication of our eyes is extremely important, and so dry
eyes can actually cause vision loss, and if the dryness
is too long, it can cause corneals guarding even permanent
(09:02):
vision loss. So I make my own saline solution. I
don't like to buy things from anybody that's made by
a pharmaceutical company. So I trust what I make and
I know what I put in it, and so what
I do is I use my own purified water, and
(09:22):
then I add a tiny bit of my mineral salt,
and I use the salt that I get from Redman's
which is called real salt, and it's a mind salt
out of Utah. And I put this in a little
clear bottle dropper bottle, and I shake it up, and
(09:42):
I put drops in my eyes whenever I feel like
my eyes are dry. But also it's winter and our
heaters can be very drying, and like right now it's
below freezing where I am, and so I have my
humidified going. And I'm in southern Texas. Now I know
(10:03):
that they know up in Colorado, in places like that
where the altitude's really high, that you need to have
a humidifier. You just get totally dried out, and you
can get bloody noses and headaches and all kinds of
different health challenges from that kind of situation. So just
get you a good humidifier and have it going on
(10:26):
a regular basis to add moisture to your atmosphere so
that you don't get too dry. In my humidifier, I'm
able to put a drop or two of essential oils,
so frequently I'm going to put in like a drop
of something like peppermint oil, which is naturally an anti pathogen,
(10:49):
but it's also very uplifting and it stimulates your mind,
and so you know, not only is it making my
air clean, but it's also making it uplifting and healthy.
And I have a question here, how does someone make
their own saline? And is this the same as IV saline?
(11:10):
So a little bit similar As many of you know,
I'm a certified International Wildlife rehabilitator, and saline ivs are
called ringers, and those are really really concentrated with very
very heavy, heavy minerals like salt minerals. And this is
(11:35):
what they give you if you go in the emergency
room or something like that, because quite literally, almost all
health problems are a result of chronic intercellular dehydration. And
what is so important about water is water has to
have these minerals in it in order for your body
(11:56):
to even absorb it. And if you are, like say
you're drinking pure water that has no minerals in it,
then your body's going to pull the minerals that are
in your body in order to process that water. So
people become very very mineral deficient and One of the
(12:17):
reasons for this is the extensive use of round up Ready,
which is the has the chemical glyphosate in it. It
is a mineral key lator. They actually use this chemical
in industrial chimneys to remove the minerals. So you know,
(12:38):
wherever they are using this round up ready formulation, the food,
the food that's grown there does not have minerals in it.
And it was also originally patent antibiotics, so it destroys
all life. So most of the food, almost all the
food grown with this chemical, these herbicides are you know,
(12:59):
really deficient, mineral deficient, and saturated with poison. So this
is why I always really encourage everyone to grow your
own organic food, buy your own organic food, but go
organic and try to avoid these herbicide saturated foods that
(13:19):
they sell. But getting back to the question, I make
my own saline solution by really just having some mineral
rich water and you just want to use either your
own purified water by reverse osmosis or whatever system you're using,
whatever clean water you have, and you want to just
(13:41):
make sure you have a little bit of minerals in
it so that it's not empty water. And so I
would say that the saline solution that I make for
my own eyes does not have the intense amount of
minerals in it. That is, you know, like an ivy
(14:03):
sailing bag that they would give you if you go
in the hospital. So it's not quite as not quite
as thick with the minerals. And then here I have
another question. Do the kim trails cause eyes to get guy?
And what is the guy stuff called? Personally, I don't
know what the guy stuff is called, and I would not.
(14:28):
I do not know exactly what all these chemical trails
are made out of, and I know many of them
are incredibly toxic, and sure, I think they can harm
everything about us. And if it gets in your eyes,
definitely it can hurt your eyes. That's one reason I
(14:48):
like my own little sailing solution that I make myself
is because I know what's in that, and I can
rinse my eyes out with that, and it kind of,
you know, clears that out. And what's interesting is, you
know this might help you if your eyes do have
(15:08):
any kind of gooey stuff that is like around your
eyes that they may be dehydrated, they may need to
have some chemicals kind of rinsed out of them and
I particularly at my house have well water, so I
know it's very pure and it's not municipal water full
(15:29):
of chemicals. You know, I can even go and splash
water from my sink into my eyes and rinse them out.
And so this might be something that you want to
do if you're experiencing this particular type of thing. And
you can also rent other things into your eye. When
(15:49):
I was at the Optimum Health Institute, we had organic
wheat crust juice that we would juice every day and
drink because it's high out kline food that has a
lot of chlorophyll in it. It's very healing and it's
really good for healing parts of your body. Like if
(16:10):
somebody had a cut or bad things on them, they
could put like wheat grass, wet wheat grass that they
just used as a poultice on that place. Well, they
told us that we could also rense our eyes out
with this pure organic wheat grass juice. So you know,
(16:32):
you can look into that yourself if you'd like. But
I have actually done that in the past, but I
always make sure the quality is the best quality. You
always want to really double check anything before you put
anything in your eyes. You want to make sure it's
the best quality possible and it doesn't have any chemicals or
(16:54):
additives or anything in it. And so, you know, that's
just one thing I did. One of the things that
I've become aware of very recently is my friend doctor
Brian Artist, who was on my show last month. He
just released two in depth videos regarding cataracts and he
(17:16):
also addressed detached retinas and blindness in these two very
in depth videos. And if you're interested in this, what
he found was that over seventy seventy very commonly prescribed
pharmaceutical drugs, and some of them Marie for an over
(17:37):
the counter and not prescribed you know, like Cortison creams
for cuts and things. But he found that over seventy
of these prescribed pharmaceutical drugs are actually directly causing cataract
formation in people's eyes. And he found and he has
(17:58):
those slides on his website if you are interested in
looking at his website, it's the Doctor Artist Show dot com.
And on his website if you go to let see
I think it's free. What is it called. It's the
free downloads for his clients. You can actually download. It's
(18:25):
called patient Resources. Go to patient resources on the doctor
artistshow dot com and you can actually download his slides
on this. But he found that over over an unbelievable
amount of people are going blind every year, and a
(18:49):
lot of those people who have lost their vision it's
because of cataracts. And he said that forty five percent
of glob blindness is a result of cataracts, and he
said they remain the second leading cause of severe vision impairment. So,
(19:11):
you know, really what he found is so many of
these drugs that you know, even like courtison shots things
like that, or even as men healers, they can cause
you to have cataracts develop in your eyes, so that
you you know, have this problem as you as you age.
(19:33):
And he did a follow up video. I don't think
it's out yet, but he found that if you use
certain nutrients that will help protect your eyes. But I
really don't believe in pharmaceutical drugs because they do not
heal and they do not dress address the root cause
(19:55):
of whatever situation you are experiencing. They just kind of
asked the problem, but they end depth causing more problems
than I think that they help. And so you know,
I really encourage people to try to do holistic, God
given natural remedies instead of doing any kind of pharmaceuticals.
(20:20):
And I think this is very important to do. So
you know, if you want to look into that, it's
his latest video on his website and it's called Cataracts,
So go and look at that if you want to
learn more about that, or if you have any kind
of cataract challenges. And then you know, one of the
(20:45):
things that he found is natural remedies are really nutrients.
And like I was just talking about with a round
up ready in the herbicide it it is just amazing
how the use of all these chemicals in our food
over the last eighty years or something has really decreased
the nutrition of our food. And so you know, you
(21:07):
might need to supplement with certain nutrients. And so I'm
going to talk about a few nutrients that I have
found are critically important for your eyehealth. And we're going
to start with, you know, just the basic ones that
I find are vitally important is vitamin A and then
(21:28):
be complex and vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, zink lutine,
omega three fatty acids, quercetin, paurine, which is a complex
amino acid destroyed by the round up red e glyphosate,
chemical glutathion, chromium, and magnesium, and many of these nutrients
(21:53):
are destroyed in the soil and the food by the
herbicide cheesed on them, and then the food's grown in
this way is you know, really lacking a lot of
vitamins and minerals. But since it's water soluble chemical, it's
down our rain water, we have to assume that it
rains on organic crops as well, and that they could
be harming our food in that way too, So you know,
(22:17):
we may need to do some supplementation, but you know
that is easy to do. And if you would like
any more information on you know, what are some supplements
that would be healthy and not made by a pharmaceutical company.
Oneset are made from whole real food and not made
from like synthetic things. It's really quite amazing how a
(22:40):
lot of companies outsource their vitamins and supplements and they
don't even really know what is in them. So you
want to always order your supplements from somebody you know
is analyzing those for quality, for purity, for effectiveness, and
(23:00):
for it being the authentic supplement that you are paying
to get because these can be really expensive and you
want to be very, very thoughtful. But I have a
free newsletter that comes out about three times a month,
and I put lots of helpful information in there, and
I also provide places where I have researched and found
(23:24):
to be authentically good in places where I order my
own things. And also I had someone say the other day, Nancy,
I didn't even know that you counsel people for their health. Well,
yes I do, so I just want to tell everyone, Yes,
I counsel people for their health and holistic ways. And
(23:48):
if you have a health challenge going on and would
like to work with me, please contact me on my
website organic healthylife dot com or email me at Nancy
at organicalthilife dot com. So getting back to the nutrition part,
(24:09):
we want to really address some of these vitamins. So
what can we start with. We're gonna start with vitamin A.
It's a fat soluble vitamin, and there's two different types
of vitamin A. There's retinol, which is a type of
vitamin A found in meat and poultry, fish, and dairy products,
(24:30):
and this can be directly used by the body. And
then there's the retinol, which is a type of vitamin
A found in meat, poultreine, fish, and dairy. Oh, I'm sorry, cartenoid,
which is a pro vitamin. This form of vitamin A
is found in fruits and vegetables and other plant food
(24:51):
so it's a plant based vitamin A and it's converted
to retinol by the body after being consumed in the
beta keratine is one of the most common and effective
types of vitamin A and keratine and cartenoids are two
types of pigments photosynthesis found in fruits and vegetables and
(25:13):
algae and photosynthesized bacteria. And this is the vitamin A
keratinoid which is the vitamin A in plant based foods,
and being a vegetarian, this is mostly what I get,
but I also do eat some raw dairy and eggs
from a nearby organic farm that's down the road from me.
(25:37):
And the beta carotene is a specific cartanoid found in
plants and fruits and it has a red orange color
which is when isolated. The beta keratine is the most
common keratin kerotine found in plants and humans and animals
can really utilize this when you when you consume it,
(26:01):
and it really is supports your immune system and when
your body absorbs this beta keratine, then your body's able
to produce vitamin A and this is one of the
most important nutrients for your eyesight, and you want to
make sure you're getting vitamin A every day. And when
(26:22):
you are eating these things, you need to make sure
you have a healthy fat in your diet because it's
a fat soluble vitamin. So if you're a plant based
eater and you don't have much fat in your food,
you might want to add a little coconut oil or
omega three fatty acids to that food in order to
absorb the nutrition from the vitamin A in that say
(26:46):
it's baby carrots or sweet potato or something like that,
so that you can absorb it better. And vitamin A
helps reduce inflammation and it keeps the ice moist, so
this is important for you know, if you're in a
dry area, make sure you have enough vitamin A. It
(27:07):
also supports neurological processes and protects your body from infection.
So you know, just some common foods you can add
to your diet would be like sweet potatoes, nl apricots, squash,
pumpkin things like that, those are high in this particular vitamin.
(27:30):
So all of these nutrients and vitamins are important, and
we tend to split them up, but really they work
together like a symphony. So hopefully you're eating food or
consuming food where they're all combined. So the next one
on the list that we need to address would be
vitamin B and be complex is really like a probiotic
(27:54):
that supports your immune system. And because of the extensive
use of this roundup, I find that most people are
really deficient in vitamin B because this herbicide just destroys it.
And so vitamin B twelve or cobolamine is really one
(28:17):
that is uniquely found in animal sources like meat, fish,
and dairy and eggs, And it's the vitamin BEE that
is so vitally important for vegetarians in particular, because these
are the vitamin bes are microorganisms that are primari merely
bacteria that are like live in the water, in the soil,
(28:42):
and so the reason it's in meat is because these
animals are eating grasses, and so that's how you get it.
But if you are a vegetarian, you might want to
take a bee complex, or if you're harvesting your grasses,
like out of your garden. You may not want to
wash it if it's really clean and you haven't had
(29:03):
any chemicals on it, because if you're cleaning it, you
might be cleaning off all your B vitamins and not
be getting those. And the less frequently you obtain vitamin
B twelve, the more you need to take it. And
it's best absorbed in small amounts, and a daily supplement
of about ten micrograms is required every day. And you know,
(29:29):
some people have a little bit of trouble absorbing it
and you might need to get you know, one that's
a complex B vitamins that's methylated. Frequently people who have
had a lot of vaccinations have trouble absorbing B vitamins
and need them methylated. So I don't know if you can,
(29:51):
you know, check and see if this is something that
might affect you, but you might, you know, try doing
one of both and see which one helps you more.
But one of the things you might look at is
the symptoms of a B complex deficiency including B twelve
would be blurred vision or energy loss, tingling, numbing, reduce
(30:18):
sensitivity to pain, sore tongue, a poor memory, confusion, hallucinations,
even personality changes. So you know, it can develop over months,
it could even develop for a year, and it is reversible.
(30:38):
So some people go get vitamin B twelve shots, and
you know you can do that. I really prefer doing
things where people aren't injecting things into your bloodstream, but
that way, it does go straight to your bloodstream. But
you want to use somebody who's doing this that is
a trusted source, and you know what of B vitamin
(31:00):
they're actually putting into you, because you would, you know, ideally,
not want one that's synthetic. You want one that is
made from a real food based source and not one
that synthetically created in a chemical lab. So one of
the things when I started researching this, one of the
(31:21):
things that really caught my attention was a lack of
vitamin B could have been one of the contributing factors
to my vision problems that I'd battled all my life.
So I was a sugar addict, and one of the
things I found out was eating too much sugar and
cooked meats and complete the body's chromium and B vitamins.
(31:43):
And doctor ben C. Lane of the Optical Society in
New York City who I met when I was in
a nutrition panel up in New York about six or
seven years ago, a really brilliant guy. But he found
that it beating to fluid pressure in the eye, which
is a factor for developing near sidedness, is a lack
(32:07):
of these B vitamins. And if you eat too much
sugar or too much meat protein and not enough vegetables,
then you can deplete your chromium and your B vitamins.
So if you're one of those people out there that
never eats vegetables and eats a lot of sweets, and
(32:28):
I have to admit I live in Texas and I
know a lot of people with a diet like this,
and you might want to make sure that you're addressing
a B deficiency, and you may want to take a
B complex, And I do highly recommend doing a B
complex instead of just an isolated vitamin, and I think
(32:49):
it's important because I think they really do all work together.
And then another vitamin in that I really think is
important for us to address is vitamins C. And this
may be one of the most important vitamins that you
have every day, and it's a water soluble vitamin, so
(33:10):
you really need to know, like have more vitamin C
about every six hours, especially if you're not well, because
vitamin C will escort toxins out of the cell. And
I know many of you have listened to doctor Thomas
Levy on my radio show. He's that wonderful cardiologist who
wrote the book Curing the Uncurable with Vitamin C and
(33:36):
he also wrote another book called Reversing Disease with Magnesium.
But he's also a lawyer, and so one of the
things he does is he teaches medical doctors how to
prescribe holistic remedies like vitamin C without being sued because
in the United States, the American Medical Association really looks
(33:59):
very much heavily on doctors that do holistic remedies and
they can actually be fined, so it can be a
little bit dangerous. But he teaches them how to do
this without getting into trouble. So, you know, one of
I have a question here on how do you know
if you're lacking in minerals and vitamins in the body. Well,
(34:21):
I think in many ways you would tell by your health,
like if you have blurred vision or cloudy brain, or
you know you have a lack of energy or you
get depressed or something like that. It's how you feel.
(34:42):
If you're getting all the nutrition you need each day,
then you should feel wonderful all the time. And many
of these vitamins actually support you know your mood and
help you feel better. So you know, listen to your
inner voice and really think about get really quiet, see
(35:03):
how you feel, and see if you have any of
these struggles going on. And if you do, then you
are probably lacking vitamins and minerals. And minerals can be
one of the things that most people are completely missing
and don't understand because these doctors. Medical doctors are not
(35:27):
taught nutrition in school, and they don't know the difference
between different types of salt. And many of them have
been taught by the medical schools to tell you to
eat a low salt diet or to not eat salt
at all. And I really believe this is extremely dangerous.
And I have read books by doctor David Brownstein, who
(35:49):
is one of my hero doctors, who he's written books
on the thyroid, on the importance of iodine, salt your
way to health, and what he's found over the years.
And he's been Detroit and like the Gorder Capital of
the world, which is probably why you became a thyroid expert,
(36:10):
is that all his clients, all his patients were just
critically mineral deficient. And these minerals, and I know the
medical community likes to call them electrolytes. This is a
fancy medical term for the word salt. But these are
water soluble minerals, and this is what we have to
(36:33):
have in order to hydrate effectively. And they're water soluble,
and we urinate them out every six hours. And so
if you're not replenishing your mineral storage in your body,
then it can actually make your body toxic. If you
are low in minerals and your enzymes can't function and
(36:55):
you can't hydrate, and you would be lightheaded. It can
cause all kinds of problems. In fact, if you go
in the emergency room for any reason and are really
struggling with your help, the first thing to do is
they give you one of those they call them fluids,
but it's concentrated mineral liquid, and you will quite literally
(37:18):
die if you don't have enough salt in your diet.
But white salt has usually had all the minerals removed,
it's been bleached, it's had high freakedtase corn syrup added
to it, so that causes diabetes, and it also has
chemical preservatives added to it, which your body reads like
(37:39):
a poison. So any kind of white salt, I suggest
avoiding it always, and if you have it at home,
I would just throw it in the trash. I never
buy white salt. I never use white salt at a restaurant.
I quite literally carry my mineral rich salt with me
all the time wherever I go. I have it in
(37:59):
my purse, I take it with me when I travel,
and I make sure I get over a teaspoon a day.
Doctor Brownstein said, anything below a teaspoon a day for
an adult human is critically low, and if it's low,
your body will actually be toxic and you can't be hydrated,
(38:21):
and quite literally, you will die. Without salt. You will
have a heart attack or your spine will explode. It's
actually what carries the frequency through our blood system, and
it's critically important. So mineral salt is very, very important.
So wherever you are in the world, make sure your
(38:42):
salt is an old mind salt from an old ocean
that was before pollution, that had lots of nutrition in it.
And if it's mind, it was probably sealed off by
a volcanic activity, so it doesn't have all the toxins
in it from the present day ocean. And in fact,
doctor David Brownstein had a recent interview with doctor Lee Merritt,
(39:04):
who was on my show last month, who's was a
Navy spine surgeon, and he talked about the salts, and
he said that he had analyzed the Redmans out of
Utah and that he found it to be a very
good salt along with Himalayan and Celtic salt. And so
that was actually a really good interview if you're interested.
(39:27):
And one listener is saying white salt is good for
cleaning home drains, well great, you found that I use
for that. I use a baking soda, and I use
baking soda for a lot of that type of thing
because I just really don't want white salt in my house.
(39:49):
I just think it is awful stuff and I waste
so many Anyway, getting back to vitamin C, Vitamin C
is an antioxidant. It contributes to the development and maintenance
of your body tissue as well as the collagen located
in your cornea. So studies have shown that the vitamin
C reduces your risk of cataracts, and when you take
(40:12):
it in combination with other essential nutrients, it can slow
the progression of age related macular degeneration and visual loss.
So you know, you really want to make sure you
eat enough vitamin C and the synthetic ascorbic acids that
you see being sold at the grocery stores in places
(40:35):
I would avoid that it a real vitamin C where
the ingredient says from a whole organic food. I think
one of them I get is from a tart cherry,
or some from various fruits from the Mediterranean or the Equator,
and I try to literally make sure I eat a
(40:57):
piece of whole real fruit in its whole, real form,
like a whole orange every morning, or a piece of
a whole grapefruit or an apple, or you know, some
type of whole real fruit, and it's real form, not juiced.
When you drink a fruit juice, it goes straight into
(41:18):
your blood stream without the fiber because you're drinking a
juice there's no fiber in that. It goes straight into
your blood stream, just like pure sugar. So I really
recommend never drinking fruit juice if you drink a smoothie.
That's one thing, because it has the fiber in it
to slow it down from going in your blood stream
(41:40):
too fast. But you know, eat a whole piece of
real fruit twice a day, or squeeze some fresh lemon
or lime juice into you know, your tea or your
glass of water, and get that vitamin C into you,
because this is really important. So fruit zuric vitamin C
(42:00):
or like oranges, grapefruit, limes, lemons, strawberries, but pias, bell peppers.
I avoid green bell peppers they are not ripe. Always
get yellow, red or orange. And then tomatoes also have
a lot of vitamin C in them, and heat can
break them down, so you know, make sure it's not cooked,
and you want to make sure you do that. Oh
(42:23):
my goodness, I can't believe this. This hour has gone
so fast. I've only got about five minutes left. So
I'm going to dress just a couple of things really
quickly here to address some of this. But I think
I'm going to continue this on a later show so
that I can expand on this a little bit more.
(42:44):
But I think our vision is just so critically important,
and so one of the things I highly recommend is
avoiding pharmaceutical drugs of any kind because they can cause
cataracts and vision loss. If you are taking any pharmaceutical drug,
really look at the side effects and realize they're direct effects.
(43:07):
They are not side effects. And I like to call
them side effects, but doctor Bruce Lipton, a major medical
researcher at Stanford University Medical School, told me personally, he said,
they are not directed. They are not side effects, Nancy,
they are direct effects. So do not kids yourself. So
anytime you're taking any kind of pharmaceutical, even if it's
(43:30):
over the counter like a courtisan cream, go look up
that company. Look up the side effects. If you feel
like you have to take that, I highly recommend printing
it out in big font and reading it every single
time you use it until you know for sure that
(43:51):
that particular product is causing those particular health challenges that
may be popping up as you use it. So really
use those with discernment. They are not harmless and they
do not cure in the remedies that I like to use,
(44:13):
and I use for myself, and I'm seventy years old now,
and I find these are very very effective and they
actually address the root cause of whatever situation I'm dealing
with is I use food as my medicine. It becomes yourselves,
your tissues, and your blood. How can it not directly
(44:35):
impact your health? So God, I feel like God gave
us absolutely everything that we need, and so if we
just stick to his program, we should all be healthy.
Another really super important vitamin to address with our vision
is vitamin D, so the beautiful sunshine vitamin. And just
(44:59):
remember or if you have on sunscreen, you cannot get
vitamin D and it only works on the skin that
is exposed to the sun. So if you're in a
cold area and you're far up north and you are
always covered, you are not getting your vitamin D. So
you need to get vitamin D from a supplement and
(45:21):
make sure it's from a food source and not from
some synthetic version. And it is so critical for protecting
our eyes from diseases. It's known to prevent age related
macular degeneration, block coma, dry eye syndrome, and cataracts. It
(45:42):
enables your eyes to heal from injury, and studies have
shown it to have properties in it that fight cancer.
So this is just really important. Make sure you get
enough vitamin D, and especially up in the northern hemisphere
where it's winter, make sure you're getting a supplementation for that.
(46:07):
And just a few foods that have vitamin D in
it are shatachi mushrooms. They're not in very many things,
but shatachi mushrooms, sardines, and egg yolks are three ways
that you can get some vitamin D in your body. Well,
(46:27):
I love y'all so much. We're embarking on a new year.
Let's just embrace that with joy and wisdom and patience.
And I truly love talking with y'all every week and
I love hearing from you. Please email me and let
me know your questions or questions about any of this,
(46:50):
or if you can't find something, let me know and
I'll be happy to get back to you. And as
I close the show, I just encourage you that as
you got through your life and you connect with those
around you, just remember to add that main ingredient. That
main ingredient is love.
