Under Black Sky Release New Single “FireFly"
Announce 'The Undead Road Show' Tour This Fall!

In addition to the new single, Under Black Sky has announced their upcoming fall tour, The Undead Road Show. The run kicks off October 22, 2025, in San Antonio, TX, bringing the band’s hauntingly powerful live performance to fans across the U.S.

UNDER BLACK SKY: THE NARRATIVE

“You are not alone. The sky has cracked. The blood remembers.”

The world was once bright — but the light was a lie.

Centuries ago, a secret Order vanished beneath the surface of history, burying knowledge too dangerous for the world above. This Order — now known only in whispers as The Order

Beneath — kept one truth sealed: that some voices are not born, but summoned… when the world turns on itself.

Now, the sky has cracked. From the fracture, sound bleeds through. Not music — a signal. A call.

Four souls answered.

They were not chosen. They were claimed.

Marked by pain. Branded by betrayal. Broken by a system that promised dreams and delivered chains. But from the ruins of their pasts, each one emerged transformed — avatars of chaos and clarity, shadow and scream. Not men. Not monsters. Something in between.

They are known only by their roles:

• KRYSIS - The Prophet — voice of the unspeakable.  (Vocals)
• BEAST - The Executioner — fury without apology. (Drums)
• ONYX - The Seer — eyes that pierce the veil. (Guitar)
• JAXX - The Redeemer — bearer of the final key. (Bass Guitar)

Together, they are Under Black Sky — not a band, but a reckoning.

Their debut transmission, Bad Blood, is more than an album. It is the first chapter of an awakening. Each track unlocks another sigil in the codex. Another fragment of the truth long buried. As their presence spreads, so too does the influence of the Order Beneath.

Those who hear the message begin to change.

Reality glitches. Symbols surface in dreams. Crimson keys appear. Shattered glass reveals hidden figures. A storm begins to churn within them — not of fear, but of defiance. And then they know:

They are not alone.

The purge has begun.

And Under Black Sky is leading the charge.

Speaker 1 (00:04):
Hi, you love one too, Dear Susu.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Wow were you young?

Speaker 1 (00:36):
This is the pipe Man here on the Adventures pipe
Man w four c Y Radio, and I'm very excited
about how we who we have on now because this
is a badass musician from Under Black Sky and they
have the coolest new single. It's called Firefly. So let's
welcome to the show, beast.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (00:56):
I'm good man, Thank you for having me.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Oh my pleasure and and uh man, I was actually
on my way to the studio today I was listening
to the song again because it just has that vibe
where you know, it's it's you want to listen to
it over and over again.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Oh it's that's killer. Thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
So let's tell the listeners out there that don't know
your whole story there a little bit about the story
behind Under Black Sky.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
Well, we're four guys that uh, you know, we just
felt so we wanted to do something that no other
band has done before, and that's uh, you know, create
you know basically create you know, a movement and not
just play our instruments and hopefully get fans like we
want to bring people in and let them be a
part of what we're doing total So that's that's kind

(01:46):
of how we got started.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Nice and uh so you also you announced the Undead
road Show coming this fall, and so what can we
expect from a live show by Under Black Sky.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Oh, we got some surprises. So we'll be bringing you
into our order. So you're all gonna be inducted. Anybody
who sees the show is automatically inducted into the order.
They're gonna experience, you know, not only the music, but
the light show they're gonna have just they're gonna feel
like they're immersed in an experience, not just just seeing

(02:24):
some live music.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Nice and so, tell us a little bit about this
song and what it's leading to with the new album,
Like this is the spark for the new album.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Tell us a story about that.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
Well, I mean, I guess when we talk about Firefly,
we always like to say the Purge begins and we're
bringing you along and we're introducing you into our world,
and we're letting you know like that we're here, we're
not going anywhere, and this is what you're gonna this
is the kind of stuff that we're gonna hook you
in with. And that's how Firefly just it's an incredible hook,

(03:00):
and once it gets you, you can't get it out
your head. And you know it's there, and you know,
like you said, you want to listen to it more
than once. And then once it's there, it's like, oh, man,
get out of my head. And that's exactly what we
want to do to people.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
No doubt.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
I can't wait to get off the interview and listen
to it again. And what about the rest of the album,
Matt tell us a little bit about that.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
It's pretty much, it's a good it's a good rollercoaster.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
Well we go from we got some slower songs and
we got some really heavy bangers that's just gonna make
you make your head spin and just take you through
the emotions, take you through what we're feeling, you know
what what is a society needs to feel?

Speaker 2 (03:38):
And it just takes you from start to finish.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
And so for you as a musician, what was that
one moment in your lifetime that you knew this was
your mission right now?

Speaker 2 (03:56):
You know.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
It might be uh, you know if I was a
little like tiny kid and I'm watching Alex van Halen
with four bass drums, and that one moment was like
that is so cool.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
I have to do what he's doing and I can't.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
There's no if you turn on that video for Jump
right now and I still get the same feeling, right,
So that's that's what That's what kickstarted it.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
That's way cool, you know.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
And I always give credit to drummers more than most
musicians because I played drums for nine years and I
still sucked.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
It's like you.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Definitely the coordination part alone. Sometimes I would feel like
it was like that thing when you're a little kid
and you're rubbing your head and your.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
Belly at the same time.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
To me, that was playing the drums, and so you know,
the fact that you have like this amazing talent that
you're bringing to us, that must have been I gotta say,
it must have been a lot of work over the
years because the spark was way back when you were
seeing it for yourself, but then you when you were
doing it, Like, what would you say to other people

(05:07):
playing drums?

Speaker 4 (05:09):
Just always be supportive of one another. I mean, everybody's
going to start somewhere and it's always not you know,
we always all of us suck. I'll tell you today,
you know, but it's just just you know, keeping positive
about it and knowing and I'll say this my dad,
you know, props to my dad.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
He pushed me and he encouraged.

Speaker 4 (05:29):
Me when I you know, when I when I needed it,
and he was always like my biggest fan. And to
have somebody like that in my corner is really just
really pushed me over the edge to keep going, to
keep at it. And like I said, just I would say,
just always be positive to one another.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
And you know, I love what you said about your
dad because a lot of times parents aren't supportive of
you know, being a musician or many kinds of art.
And so I think the world needs to lie more
art and a lot more parents like yours that support
your art, right you know, because this world right now,

(06:09):
I think that's the best therapy. I think that's the
best escape from everything that's going on, is to consume
yourself in music, especially under Black Sky's music.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Oh yeah, So.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
What else do you want to tell us about? How
you and the and like Crisis and Onyx and Jack's
all had that all come together.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
So you know, we had we had known each other
through mutual friends and like I said, it always starts
with just the just the brotherhood of knowing that we
all had the same vision, that we all wanted to
do the same things and accomplish the same goals.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
And so immediately.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
Talking with Crisis with Jack's it was just it was unbelievable,
just the connection that we had and uh, you know,
bringing Onyx and filling you know, filling up the roster.
It just like I said, it just you know, you know,
when something comes together, when it comes together so perfectly
and it fits that that's that's that's what that's what
we started with, and that's that's kind of what's.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Gotten us this far, and it's just been an amazing ride.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Yeah, I think that's like one of the most important
things because listen, if you don't have that synergy for
making the music or being on stage, you know what
do you have?

Speaker 4 (07:30):
Oh exactly, Like you really need to have like minded
individuals with you that share that vision. Otherwise it's it's not.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Going to go anywhere.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
Yeah, And.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
How else are you going to have fun and give
fun to us unless you guys are connected and really
like you can tell when you see people live on
stage whether you know they're just a bunch of bros
having a great time. But also entertaining us, or they're
like going through the motions, or maybe they don't even

(08:03):
want to be with each other.

Speaker 4 (08:05):
Right, And that's that's important too, because I mean we've
all been the concerts where they look like they're just
going through the motions and it's like, come on, man,
you guys are better than this, you know. And then
when we finally get up there, it's like it's like
knowing that we've wanted to do this for so long
and we're so grateful to be able to do this,
and you know, we want to.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Give it our all and give you everything. If you
give us everything, we'll give it back.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
And return totally. I mean, it's kind of like Ozzie.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Okay, everybody loved Ozzie because Ozzy loved everybody in the
crowd and just loved what he was doing more than
anything else.

Speaker 4 (08:40):
Oh yeah, and it's he was that was such a
loss to the music community, not just metal but music overall.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
They I agree with you, a loss to the world overall,
because with everything, he was still a great human being,
a great musician, and I think he got a lot
of us through a lot of hard times, through many
many years, and I relate that to.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Your music too, because your music is.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
Something that could take us somewhere else that is a better,
more positive place.

Speaker 4 (09:14):
I certainly appreciate that. Just the comparison, you know, that's
that says a lot.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
So thank you, my pleasure.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
And so how do people reach out to you guys
on socials on the web. Check out the new music,

Stuff You Should Know
Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
