We are at Shawshank Prison aka Ohio State Reformatory for the 2025 Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival. Drowning Pool is playing and came backstage in the Press / Artist Lounge to talk with Pipeman Radio of W4CY Radio about what it is like to perform at such an iconic location where Shawshank Redemption was filmed. This closed down prison is known to be haunted so when you go to Blood Prison who knows what will happen.

play all day long.

few things happening in personally September, October, trying to get
some more music finished for hopefully i'll collection of songs
and released before the end of the year. And then

we have a UK run that's been selling out pretty
fast us be Spine, Shank and Me in November. That's
been nice, good guy, so full UK run, looking forward
to that one.

whether you're press. I think he does an amazing job

but like everybody that he has working for him.

about some of the other festivals we've had in the
United States and if they had these kind of crowds,
these kind of weather conditions, kind of.

Scary, what would happen, you know, even down the catering.

I think for you guys, because like I saw TikTok,
Ryan Radkey talking and like he was playing a festival
over there. I won't name which one, but he's talking
about how the food and catering was crap. But even
somebody like him would say, this is the best ship ever.
Speaker 4 (05:38):
It's the best, man. Yeah, everything's top notch here, man.

So what else we got going on after this for
the rest of the year.

A festival next week at Syracuse, and then we're going overseas,
ask at the more festivals that Ryan mentioned, and we're
doing a headline run as well with the band called
Nocturnal Affair just to look at Emorys for all of
August and a couple of brack shows. We have a
few things happening in personally September, October, trying to get
some more music finished for hopefully i'll collection of songs
and released before the end of the year. And then

we have a UK run that's been selling out pretty
fast us be Spine, Shank and Me in November. That's
been nice, good guy, so full UK run, looking forward
to that one.

It's been a lot of song just overseas.

Breaking back into it this year man, and then getting
ready for the Senor twenty five anniversary June fifth next
year or some whenever the Reees starts for that, so
making fans for that as well.

That's a great thing because it's a lot of fun
