Actually, we did a we releaseda lot of songs before, so we
were playing the record before the recordactually came out. So when you're in
a band, record released day intwenty twenty three isn't really that important because

now already playing the music, everybody'slistening to it already on streaming, So
it's not like a U, youknow, ninety four when you released a
record, you actually got the recordsin your hand. Nobody has heard it
until you get the actual give itto people. Yeah, totally. So
how are people receiving the new album. It's awesome. It's with giving,
with putting the songs out before therecords released. It's awesome because people are

able to engage with it. Andwhen we played the shows, people had
already been able to digest some ofit and you know, singing along with
the songs already, because that's apart of always sort of sucks. It
sucks for the band. It sucksfor the people who come to the show.
They just got they were just ableto get the record the day before.
They haven't had a chance to digestit, and then they go to
the show and they're like, Idon't really know these songs, and it's

this positive spin because there's so manynegative spins on how music is released today.

go to all the festivals, youget to experience all of them. You
know, we just you know,we obviously are going to more than punk
rock ones and things like that,but you get to experience a lot of

me about the announcement for tomorrow forPunk in the Park, which I do
that one too. I'll be doingthe punkin drub like the final. Yeah,

So hey, yeah that and youknow because you see me, Yeah,
you're at more festivals than I am. Yeah, for sure. We're on
tour a lot. We're on tourall the time. So last year was

I was burnt out after last yearbecause it's all catching up after COVID,
So like I was on one everyweekend from April till November. Yeah,
you're you're on tour or you're ata festival every weekend. We're at a
festival every weekend and then five showsin between and then going to another festival
the next weekend. So yes,we all of us were in the same

boat. After COVID. We're like, fuck, we gotta we gotta play
some shows and get back into it. And so we just booked ourselves way
too heavy. Yeah. And mymy daughter, she'll say to me,
she'll come to like one festival andbe done by half a day. And
I don't know how you do thisevery weekend, Dad, Like I'm done

or again, it's in your blood. I don't know how. I don't.
Yeah, that's the point. Igo home and it's like depressing.
What will I do now? Yep, you're a lifer. They're like the
rest of us, you can't.It doesn't matter. We'll be doing this
till we die. I love itand I loved and get a see you

Yeah, because I remember what theworld is, you know, see
what the world is outside of this. I remember the first time I went
to Europe and I was taught fromyou know, at my age. I'm
fifty six, so I was taughtgrowing up, don't go there else.
It's scary out there. We're theonly free country. Yeah, And I
went to Europe and I was like, what were they talking about? Now?

The parents in Europe so they don'tgo to the States because everybody gets
shot all the time. It's like, I go there another example of Amsterdam,
went there like twenty six years agoand they waned the American money.
They loved it. Last time Iwas there, I was out of euros.
I'm like to accept US dollars andthey're like, no, that's monopoly

money. Like, oh my god, it's so embarrassing. Like everywhere I
went was so embarrassing, and Ihate that, Like why should it be
embarrassing. The other thing is thatyou get stuck in when you go to
other places, you get stuck ina position of having defend to defend US
policy. Yeah, and you're like, I understand why it's happening. I
don't agree with it, but Ihave to explain to people why it's happening.

And they're like, yeah, youguys are fucking crazy. I'm like,
we're sort of a little bit.Yeah, but that's why we need
voices like you, Dad well,and people need to travel and meet other
people's that's we've been incredibly lucky ifjust as human beings to be able to
interact with people and activists all overthe world. All the people that we
interact with are people were getting shitdone and making stuff happen. So that

gives us an optimism because we see, ah, the world isn't full of
horrible people. The world is fullof amazing people. Yes, we just
have to fund about some of thehorrible people. And I'll tell you one
last thing. I will say itall that just popped in my head.
So, like my youngest daughter,she's total woke and her mom doesn't like
that. She's woke. Yeah,you know, and she blames it.

Are you ready? She blames iton our daughter going to college. Yeah,
well yeah yeah, And it's like, yeah, that's why I said.
I'm like, uh yeah, becauseyou get a full rounded education and
called a well round education. Likeit was so funny. She even brought

up she was like I remember itwith specifically this one class. I'm like
humanities and she's like yeah, I'mlike, well, duha, teaching people
to be humane to other human beings. Like that's a bad thing that we're
trying to get rid of it.And Florida, we're trying to get rid
of that that that experience of understandingother people. And you know, the

people here love it. I hateto say it, I live here,
but the people here love it.Or else DeSantis wouldn't have a place,
he wouldn't been a landslide. Sothere's a lot of people who who think
that he's on the right track.So and then they have the people leave
in California, leaving New York comingto Florida because we're the only free state.
But you're not free to read,you're not free to go Disney,

You're not you're not free to beLGBTQ. You're not free to be anything
but a neo nazi. Yeah,fuck crazy, Oh my god, Well,
thank god. We have a festivalhere and you guys and so yeah
and and rock and roll. Thisthe festival is a place for all the

weird kids and all the everybody who'slooking for something else in life. This
is the music is very secondary inthese situations. It's just a catalyst that
brings people together. But people areable to come together and be who they
are and be who they need tobe, and that's an awesome thing.
So we love that. Aspect offestivals is that, um, it's a
place for people to express themselves ina free way and to nobody's an outcast.
