Eight people have died while trying to cross the English Channel from France to England in a rubber vessel.

It's the second deadly incident involving a migrant boat in the Channel in as many weeks.

UK correspondent Gavin Grey rescue services identified 60 people on the vessel.

Eight people have died. This is another boating tragedy on
the Channel.

He was at the scene in northern France. Six taken
to hospital, including a baby with hypothermia. Rescue services alerted
at one am local time to the waters north of
Boulogne Sioux Mayre. It was a rubber vessel packed with
sixty people on board. Countries they came from ranging from Eritrea, Sudan,
Syria and Iran. And all this less than a fortnight

after twelve people, including six children, had died when a
boat carrying dozens of migrants sank, in the deadliest loss
of life in the Channel this year. This has been
a busy weekend. On Saturday, eight hundred people across the Channel,
the second highest daily total made so far this year.

A really dreadful and continental Europe. At least seven people
have died, many others are missing. After widespread flooding across
eastern and central Europe. More rainfall expected in the coming days.
Surging river levels really really causing problems for authorities. Tens

Romania where five died. In the Czech Republic thousands have

been evacuated, and on Sunday one person who's found to
have dowed in southwest Poland that was a firefight of
tackling flooding as well in Austria also died. I'm afraid
some amazing statistics four hundred and fifty millimeters of rain
has fallen since Wednesday evening.
