Ardie Savea is set to face disciplinary action from the Sanzaar Foul Play Review Committee.
The Hurricanes captain was cited after making a throat-slitting gesture to Melbourne Rebels halfback Ryan Louwrens after an altercation last Friday.
Weekend Sport host Jason Pine says Ardie Savea will face some sort of sanction for his actions, but he believes the citation is 'ridiculous'.
