Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, Jason Pine Weekend Sport hosters with us now pony.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Hello, hello Heather.

Speaker 1 (00:04):
We've learned to catch. I went away for a week
and we started to learn to catch.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
How cool I think that was. Is there a correlation here?

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Did you manifest them to actually have safer hands what
I was doing after a last test?

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (00:16):
I was sitting there manifesting it. Hey, But Nathan smith Man,
how good is this guy?

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Right? So he's on his seat? Is this is this
is a second test, isn't it?

Speaker 2 (00:23):
That's it? That's we could take it?

Speaker 1 (00:25):
With four wickets?

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Yep, he went for a few.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
He got carted around a bit by Harry Brooke, but
I don't think he was the only one who was
getting hit to all parts of the basin reserve by
Harry brook of his son player. By the way, with
a one hundred and fifteen, he got out of England's
to eighty.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
But yeah, Nathan smith it's his home ground.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
What a neat day for him, you know, to go
out on the base in reserve in front of his
friends and family and all that sort of thing and
pick up four wickets. I think if you'd said Tom
Latham when he won the toss and sent England in
that'll be out for two eighty at a round sort
of quarter past four this afternoon.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
He would have absolutely taken that. Absolutely he would have.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
So let's hope that now he and Devin Conway and
hopefully not too many others I can get out there
this afternoon and start chipping away at that deficit.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Wellington is looking quite pretty today, is the weather good?

Speaker 2 (01:09):
You know what it's like in Wellington? Heither you are
welcome back here at any time.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
I know you're not particularly enamored with our local government,
but other than that, you know, it's it's beautiful here today.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
It's how's the breeze because I see some of those
Berhuda Coward trees just swaying ever so slightly.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Yeah, no, it's a very low It's one of those
like Northerly skiffles that.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
You need occasionally. Yeah. No, no, it's a beautiful day.
No good.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Actually, I'm pleased for you guys.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
Now, how do you feel about Auckland f C taking
on the Wellington Phoenix. I mean it feels like it
would take a lot for Wellington for the Phoenix to
beat Auckland f C.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
I think Wellington won the game. I've got them. I've
said all week I think Wellington to win the game.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Well, look, I won't be putting anything you know, significant
on it, but I look.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
At the two sides.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
I say, right, these two sides are both very good defensively.
Auckland f C haven't let a goal in the five
games Wellington and only that three and then five games,
two of those were against Auckland.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
They're good defensively.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
So you say, right, which of these two teams has
the better tools in an attacking sense to unpick the other?

Speaker 2 (02:11):
And I think Wellington.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Do you know, I look at a guy like Costa Barbarusis,
Marco rohas a couple of their Japanese imports. Auckland have
been very good at the back, but haven't really cut
teams apart in the attacking third. So and what will
be a tight game, it's not going to be a
four to three Heather, I think this is a one nill.
So I can say I've got Wellington winning at one
nil tomorrow. And I think that's a good narrative too,
that you know, one each both away from home sets

(02:33):
up Harbi number three in February pretty nicely.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
Yeah, totally well, listen, good luck because I still think
it's going to be Auckland, all right.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Mate. That's Plainey Jason Pine, Weekend sport host.

Speaker 4 (02:45):

course a Sunday Hero News TALKSZ'B.
