Speaker 2 (00:01):
Yeah, the years ago I was tasked with debt collecting
at ID where I worked. I found countless people with
jobs and several benefits, and only one complained when I
had their benefits.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
Stop. Thanks for that.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Coming up nineteen past five, Now the Wiggles are putting
on a rave for kids.

is the brains behind other New Zealand festivals like Daydreams
and Sound Splashes promoting the idea, Hey Mitch.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Hello Mitch, how is this going to work for kids?

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Well? That is a good question. I've never done it before, okay.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Because I mean, let's cut to the chase, right.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
The reason that grow nuts go to raves is so
that they can take drugs and listen to trippy music.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
So why do kids want to go to Raye?

Speaker 3 (01:01):
Well, this is actually for the kids and the adults,
because that's sort of how we're targeting it. But are
you expecting there.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Are adults there who are going to take drugs and
listen to tripa music while around the kids.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
No. I believe they're going to bring their kids to
the rave to introduce them to proper production, which is
what we're going to put on.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Alrighty, I mean, how many are you It's going to
be dark? What is it going to be dark?

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Dark? Yes, it's run from one p m Till seven pm,
but the indoors is the arena, so that's dark and
then outside more like a festival style.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Can When you say arena, how many people are you.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Expecting five thousand?

Speaker 1 (01:35):
I'm a little bit worried about losing the child in there?
Are you?

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Are you going to promote like leashes and todd lorrains
and stuff like that.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Ironically, we do have these like led foam sticks that
you give your kids and they're very bright colored and
they can sort of set them to a color and
you know you'll be able to find them.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Okay, cool, all right, I'm glad you've thought this one through.
Do you, I mean, do you reckon? There's a market
for this.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Stuff, I believe. So look, we I only announced it
this morning. I did it in honor of my daughter,
who just arrived a month ago, so it's new to me.
But we've just announced it that and the reception has
been crazy. Yeah, we've had five hundred people sign up
in the last three or four hours, so that you start, Yeah, it's.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Not bad at all. Is she sleeping through the night yet?

Speaker 3 (02:15):
Absolutely not, which is why I'm currently in the unslept
getting to you.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
So when you go to the rave, you're going to
feel like you're on drugs, But that's just a sleep deprivation.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Isn't it.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Yeah, Yeah, I'm sure that's how it goes.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Yeah, good luck with it, all right, listen, tell me
what the ticket prices.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Are then, so we try to keep it super affordable.
So we've got the adults and kids individual at fifty
nine dollars, but then we have a family path at
one nine nine, so you're sort of saving forty bucks
if you get the family path.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Mitch, Thank you very much, Mitch Low event promoter two
hundi bucks to go to the Influence.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
I don't know anyway, We'll see how that goes, Look,
I'm just going to put it out there that I'm
not going to be an early adopter of this particular thing.
So i just put it out there for other people
to try, and if it's awesome, maybe I'll get into
it later on.
