At the end of each week, Mike Hosking takes you through the big-ticket items and lets you know what he makes of it all.

Donald Trump: 2/10

Possibly his worst and easily his maddest week yet. Tylenol, the war, Jimmy Kimmel, James Comey, the visas, the escalator, and the teleprompter. Unhinged doesn't even come close.

Jimmy Kimmel: 7/10

Won the moral ground on free speech.

Disney: 2/10

Lost the morale ground by being spineless, and putting their prices up.

Fonterra: 9/10

The numbers and the success are amazing.

The Ranfurly Shield: 7/10

It's changed hands four times this season and the last two have been sensational games.

Palestine: 4/10

Are you as surprised as I am that after all those pledges of recognition the war hasn't stopped, the food hasn't flowed, and Hamas are still open for business in Qatar?

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Time now to mark the week. Little piece of news
and current events that's as popular as a lavish promise
on climate at the UN Assembly week Trump two? Is
that a correct statement? By the way, Possibly as worst
easily as maddest week yet on Tyler and Old the
War Kimmel combing the visas the escalator the teleprompt unhinge
doesn't do it, Jimmy Kimmel seven, It made me realize
how many of my friends are never watching the show

(00:20):
at any other time won the moral high ground on
free speech. Disney, though, too, lost the moral high ground
by being spineless, and then they went and put their
streaming prices up. Palestine four. Are you as surprised as
I am that, after all these pledges this week of
recognition that the war hasn't stopped, the food hasn't flowed,
and her massa is still open for business? And Qatar?

(00:41):
Sarah Ferguson two, Wow, what a miserable little suck up
she turned out to be. Froontierra nine numbers and the
success are amazing. The OECD growth forecast this week six.
Anyone that's telling us the world's going to be better
than we thought, it's worth a listen, I reckon Huntley
six the deal. That's a sign of pragmatism and a

(01:02):
reality check. EV's four Porsche fell off the decks and
Honda stopped making one of their cars, all because theory
never met reality and it was never going to airways
as an Airways Corp seven funnier than kimenl Ona's Best Night.
We're going to talk to the vendor, they said, Oh,
the vendor's us, who knew almost as funny as Zuckerberg

(01:22):
trying to make glasses video calls four. That's too bad.
I don't know what happened Ranfilly shields seven? Four times? Yeah,
four times this season in the last two sensational games.
Are the Government six talk about hustle roads openings this week?
You notice that operation money money, money, a lot of

(01:43):
money this week. That's what minus zero point nine does
for you. Are the All Black seven will be fine?
I mean, yes, Australia are better than they were, and
yes we lost the other weekend, but remember how angsty
we got about Eden parking the South Africans a couple
of weeks ago. Let's save ourselves the energy, shall we?
And that is the week copies on the website and
in an internal report written by a bloke from the
ABC This Week finds marking the week even less biased

(02:05):
than one news which isn't even a little bit vised.
