On the heels of her latest contribution to Forbes, where she writes about mobile and apps, our host Peggy Anne Salz welcomes Philipp Gladkov -- the 30-year old CEO of Pixonic, a Moscow-based studio best known for the massively popular multiplayer mobile game app Walking War Robots. Phil discusses the motivation to develop the game and the strategy he followed to reach a string of significant milestones. In April 2016, the app  broke into the U.S. Top 200 grossing charts. Two weeks later, it climbed to 102 in the charts. We also discuss how has tapping into a new on-demand funding model from Pollen VC has allowed the company rapid access to earned revenues, paving the way for Pixonic to continually reinvest revenues into user acquisition and re-engagement to consistently improve its growth trajectory.
