Speaker 2 (00:21):
It could be yours. Lady, It was time for the
Strawberry Letter with my good friend. Shirley Strawberry.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
Wants to listen.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
To me, Lord Junior, you're giving me marrital advice. I
just want you to know, all morning I hear is
a I have a series of things that I'll be
suggesting to you before this morning show is over to death.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Go ahead, Shirley.
Speaker 4 (00:46):
He's just trying to help, and I still got some
more advice for you in cool all right subject, here
we go. He brought me the wrong closed ye're Stephen, Shirley.
My boyfriend and I used to spend time at each
other's homes, but that stopped when he brought me clothes
that don't belong to me. He's a big fan of
(01:08):
going to the cleaner so I told him to take
my work clothes that I left over at his house.
He called and said he was going by the cleaners
and then coming to my house. He said he also
watched my workout clothes and he's bringing them to He
came in and laid the clothes on a chair and
we ate dinner. He said he was leaving because he
had an early morning.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
The next day. I got ready for bed and got
the dry cleaning to hang it up. I had a
skirt of blouse and a blazer. There was also a
pair of pin striped pants in with my clothes. I
called to ask to ask him if he went to
the dry cleaner that he usually goes to because I
had a pair of pants that weren't mine. He said yes,
and he gave me the receipt number. I went to work.
(01:52):
I went the next morning to return the pants and
found out that the pants were brought in by my boyfriend,
and the owner of the cleaner showed me the detailed receipt.
So at that point, I'm furious with my boyfriend. I
went home and looked through the workout clothes he washed,
folded and put in a bag for me. I found
a pair of leggings and socks that weren't mine. My
(02:12):
man has had someone over to his house, and she's
comfortable enough to be leading clothes there. I painted the
picture in my own mind. I didn't need his lies
to create doubt. In my mind. I thought back to
all of the nights he came to my house early
and said he had to get to bed early, so
he left by eight pm. That must be when the
girl comes over and gets naked and leaves her clothes.
(02:35):
I know exactly what it is. Am I way off?
Or am I right? Can't wait to hear from you, guys.
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
SI.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
I think you're really reaching here. He couldn't have been
stupid enough to knowingly give you another woman's clothing, so
he must have honestly thought they were yours. I mean,
whose were they? Did you ever find that out? Why
don't you just ask him? The cleaners could have gotten
his order mixed up. Pens stripe pants are usually men's pants.
(03:04):
And as for him leaving your house to go to
be with another woman at his house, I think that's
a reach too. I mean, yes, aightpm is rather early
to leave, but he said he had to get to
work early. I mean that story is easy to check
up on. And are you saying that after he leaves
you at eight o'clock, you guys don't talk anymore, you
don't talk to him anymore that night to say good night,
(03:27):
or you guys don't chat the next morning. I just
think that's a little weird. Anyway, the leggings and socks
could be from someone from a long time ago. But
I'm just gonna say I think it was very nice
for him to put your clothes in the cleaners, pick
them up, bring them over to you. Then he washed
and folded your dirty workout clothes brought them to you two.
(03:47):
Not many men would have done all of that. I
just in this particular situation, I don't think you have
enough evidence to accuse him of cheating. I think you
should simply ask him what happened before you create and
create any more thoughts in your own mind.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
Steve, I am in utter shock.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
I am I can't I can't even believe what I
just heard, and from who I heard it from.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
I'm I don't even.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
Know how to respond to this letter because I had
so many counter statements ready and they all going out
the window. Because Sureley is on the guy's side. I
cannot but believe this. The homes that you have wrecked
over the years, the relationships that you have destroyed in
(04:41):
this letter, the people who can't go back to their house.
You change locks, you you you, you put sugar in
gas tanks, cut up tires, busted out windows. You have
put people on blasts on Facebook. The fact that you
you believe in this guy, I.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
Just think it's a stretch.
Speaker 4 (05:05):
Lord.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
Let us take this time, gracious, gracious one, it's.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
Always time for a prayer.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
Now take our time to realize how you've, through prayer
and supplication, changed a woman right in front of our eyes,
a woman who has never ever believed in not now
(05:32):
man that has ever been in the Strawberry letter. To
see this complete turnaround, to watch it destroyed the whole answer.
What I will do now, Lord her Mercy.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
Surely said, I think she's reaching.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
I think she's reaching, Lord her Mercy.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
You know I'm a girl's girl, but I think she's reaching.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
I do well.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
When we come back, I'm gonna go blow by blow.
How the man is free and clear on this one
except by her last line in this letter.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Which says.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
This he said, this must be the girl that comes
over and gets neked and leaves her clothes. I know
exactly what it is, and I'm not gonna let him.
I don't need his lives to create doubt.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
In my mind. Lord hem Mercy, we come back. Wow.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
All right, Steve, we'll have part two of your response
coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's
Strawberry Letter subjects he brought me the wrong clothes. We'll
get back into it right after this. You're listening Morning Show.
All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
The subject he brought me the wrong clothes.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
Well, you know, just listening to the letter title he
bought me the wrong clothes, I knew what this was about.
He did surely surprisingly to me, said the woman that
wrote this letters reaching and she should ask the man,
which I agree with she did. She should ask the
man instead of just making this whole scenario and then
(07:23):
don't want to hear nothing he got to say. But
he has a clear out and here it is. Then,
Stephen Shirley, my boyfriend and I used to spend time
in each other's homes, but that stopped when he bought
me clothes that don't belong to me. He's a big
fan of going to the cleaners. Okay, we have the
cleaners involved. This is starting to have a loophole in it.
(07:45):
So I told him to take my work clothes I
left over his house. He called and said he was
going by the cleaners and then coming to your house.
He said, he washed my workout clothes and he's bringing
them to Sureley said in her response, what man does that?
And who the hell do this right here? Certainly not me.
(08:06):
I've never washed the woman's clothes and folded them and
bought them to her house in my life. And I've
done everything for physical activity, everything, but I've never ever
done that.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
Very nice.
Speaker 2 (08:19):
He came in and laid the clothes on the chair.
We ate dinner.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
He said he was leaving because he had an early
morning the next day. I got ready for bed and
got the dry cleaning to hang it up. I had
a skirt of blouse and a blazer. But there's also
a pair of pinstripe pants with my clothes. But these
are pinstripe pants with your clothes that came from the
clean nurse. It came from the clean nurse. I called
(08:45):
and asked him if he went to the dry cleaner
he usually goes to because I had a pair of
pants that weren't mine. He said yes, I went to
the same clean as I always go too. And you
having a pair of pants that they chords that ain't
got nothing do with me. He said yes, and he
gave me the receipt number. I went the next morning
to return the pants, and I found out that the
(09:06):
pants were brought in by my boyfriend, and the owner
of the cleaner showed me the detailed receipt. So at
that point, I'm furious with my boyfriend. Why cleaners make mistakes?
You trying to tell me your boyfriend ain't got no
pinstrip pants. I beg to differ. He could have brought
(09:30):
in some pinstriped pants on more than one occasion. Right now,
Your husband, your boyfriend don't know how you got them
pinstrip pants, and you set up in here talking about
no he bought them in because he tried not to
be wrong. The cleaners is trying to stay clear and
act like we do. Our biers is right, those are
(09:52):
your pants. The cleaners could have made a mistake. So
at that point, I'm furious with my boyfriends. I and home,
looked through the workout clothes he washed, folding and put
in a bag for me. I found a pair of
leggings and socks that weren't mine. Okay, so and and
my man has someone over to his house and she's
(10:14):
comfortable enough leaving her clothes over there.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
Okay. I painted the picture in my own mind. Well
there you have it. Well, paint something else.
Speaker 3 (10:28):
But you don't want to do that because you don't
need his lives to create doubt in your mind. See,
you want to be right at all costs, even if
it's at the cost of your relationship. It's what Shirley
was trying to say to you, that you're jumping to
conclusions without enough facts. I bought back to all the
I thought back to all the nights he came to
my house and early and said he had to go
(10:49):
to bed early, and he left by eight.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
You can go. He gotta stay at your house.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
He got a house.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
That must be when the girl comes over and getting
neked and leave her clothes exactly. Yeah, that's it. I
know exactly what it is. Yes, you're right?
Speaker 2 (11:08):
Am I way off? Or am I right? Wait? A minute. Now,
hold on, excuse me.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
You just said that must be when the girl comes
over and gets naked and leaves her clothes. Then you
said I know exactly what it is. Then right after
you that, you said, am I way off?
Speaker 2 (11:27):
Or am I right? Kate? Wait to hear from you.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
Guys, See, you run your relationship on clicks and likes
and what people thinking.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
All this here, you ain't.
Speaker 3 (11:41):
Now, you ain't saying nothing about your intuition tells you
he's cheating. You just painted a picture in scenario, and
that's what the one you want to ride with. Okay,
now let me say this to you. Ride with your decision.
Ride with your decision without asking your man for an explanation.
Just go ahead and ride with that decision. Now, suppose
(12:03):
you wrong. Suppose the cleaners made a mistake. It happens
all the time. I can't tell you how many times
I done got somebody else's stuff in my cleaners, and
I can't tell you how many stuff things of mind
is missing from the clean So now you took this
man's word he don't make no mistake down in his cleaner.
(12:26):
Girl buy So now guess what, based on this story
right here, you ain't seen him with no girl. You
ain't got no text message, just no pictures, no Facebook,
no Instagram nothing. You ain't seen nothing. You got some
bad clothes in your blondry bag. Now you do, Okay? Cool,
that's why you ain't.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
Got no man.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
Post your comments and you didn't.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
Have another one too. He ain't the first one.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
