كتاب:عشرُ خرافاتٍ عن اسرائيل_ايلان بابيه
كتاب مهم للمؤرخ الإسرائيلي إيلان بابيه، ترجمته سارة عبدالحليم، وإيلان بابيه هو أحد أهم المؤرخين الجدد. ورغم أنه ليس كل ما في الكتاب جديد لكن الوضوح والوثائق التي اعتمد عليها تعتبر حديثة إلى حد ما. أيام كانت قضية فلسطين قضية عربية فوق قطرية كانت معظم الكليات العربية تدرس كتاب المجتمع العربي والقضية الفلسطينية كمتطلب جامعي. أعتقد أن كتاب بابيه الذي نحن بصدده يصلح ليقرر في أي مرحلة من مراحل التعليم الجامعي أو العادي بدلاً من اجتهادات في الكتابة تؤلف على هوى السلطة في البلد الذي تُدرس فيه القضية. روجت إسرائيل لمجموعة من المقولات على أنها حقائق، وهذه هي التي أتاحت للصهيونية أن تبني دولتها على أساس نظري أقنع العالم بحق اليهود في فلسطين، ولكن ما وصل إليه المؤرخون الجدد يفند هذه الأسس جميعاً ويثبت أن ما يروج على أنه حقائق إنما كان مجموعة من المغالطات التي لا تصمد أمام البحث العلمي النزيه. قيمة هذه الأبحاث أنها قامت لتحمي اليهود من أنفسهم أي من الصهيونية. يقول الكاتب، إن كتابه في النهاية من تأليف يهودي إسرائيلي حريص على مجتمعه تماماً كما هو حريص على المجتمع الفلسطيني، ومن شأن دحض الخرافات والأساطير التي تكرس الظلم أن يعود بالفائدة على كل من يعيش في الدولة أو يرغب في العيش فيها. فالدولة تشكل قاعدة يمكن لكل قاطنيها الاستمتاع بالمزايا والإنجازات الكبرى التي يقتصر التمتع بها حالياً على جماعة واحدة.
