Don Fry, from the Flora Masonic Lodge was Mark's in-studio guest talking about the Shriner's For Children Hospital Auction set for Saturday, May 30th, 10am at Charley Brown Park Fairgrounds in Flora.

Mark's in-studio guests were Britt McNeely & Mark Hosselton, Geff Ruritan Club discussing the upcoming Toy Tractor Show set for Saturday, April 4th from 9am to 3pm at the Geff Ruritan Building.

Mark's in-studio guest was Angela Evans, Republican Candidate for Illinois State Representative in the 116th District from the Sesser area talking about her ideas, beliefs and vision for the State of Illinois if elected during the March 17 primary. She is running for the seat against incumbent, Dave Severin.

Mark's in-studio guest was Shain Crank, Republican Candidate for Regional Office of Education District #20. Shain shared his vision and ideas for the office if elected during the March 17th primary. Crank, from Harrisburg is the current Superintendent/Principal at the Galatia Grade School District.

Michelle Scott of Fairfield, Outreach Coordinator and Mariah Hayes from Benton, the Executive Director for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) For Kids were Mark's in studio guest as they both shared what the program is all about and the program is new to Wayne County. Volunteers are needed to be an advocate for children who have experienced abuse and neglect and speak on their behalf in juvenile court.

Dr. Beth Rister, Regional Superintendent of Schools and Sarah Emery, Assistant Superintendent from the Regional Office of Education #20 were Mark's in-studio guest as they discussed education in general and the challenges facing today's schools and teachers. Sarah is also running for the Regional Superintendent position in the upcoming March primary as Dr. Rister will be retiring in June, 2027.

Mark's in-studio guest were George Kostas and Dana Weatherford with Wayne County Search & Rescue discussing their organization which started in March, 2024 and the hopes they have in obtaining their 501C3 designation which will allow them to obtain grants to help with training and needed equipment purchases.

Linda Spicer from the Frontier Community College Foundation was Mark's guest as they talked about the Fifth Annual Fran Carter Memorial Scholarship Fashion Show coming up Sunday, November 2nd at First Christian Church in Fairfield as the foundation partners with Carnaby Square of Fairfield to help support second-year student athletes at Frontier College at this fuindraising event.
