Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hey, welcome back. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has opened up
about the band's billion dollar world too pay.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Ford is back. What has he said?

Speaker 3 (00:08):
Yeah, well, he said a lot. Most interestingly about his
writing process. He commits himself to writing twelve minutes every morning.
Sounds an odd number, I know, but that's what he's decided.
Twelve minutes every morning. He writes down stuff, almost like
a venting or a cleansing process, and sometimes that will
end up evolving into a song. Sometimes he will literally

(00:30):
flush it down the toilet. This is how Chris Martin
tells the story.

Speaker 4 (00:34):
At twelve minutes in the mornings, I write anything that's
in my head, and it's often very terrible, yeah, and
very depressed or very anxious, or all of the stuff
that you don't really want anyone else to hear, but
you need to release. Yeah. So I do that for
twelve minutes and then I burn it. You literally laid
it up the payer, or tear it up and flush

(00:55):
it away.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Because you just know if anybody got hold of those
that never got saw the light of day, that he
worth a lot of money one day.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
It's very similar to what Larry does of the morning
He gets up and decides he's going to work for
twelve minutes a day, and that's what he does, and
then just wings.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
The rest of it. And sometimes I don't. Sometimes I
just get these notes and flushing down and spilet. Beyonce
is celebrating the launch of her new whiskey.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
The interesting now.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
We're keen right, So this happened on the weekend, happened
in Paris. Actually she's channeling a bit of the old
Marilyn Monroe. There isn't she Gucci dress? And this is
all because of the Sir Davis line of whiskey which
she has launched, and it's named in honor of her
great grandfather, her paternal great grandfather, who was a moonshiner
and the South back in the prohibition days. So now

(01:46):
that everything's legal, she's gone, as you can see over
the top, and very glamorous with that launch at the weekend.
Look at that duel encrusted whiskey bottled purse on the
nails and the nails to match that. That's the symbol
of Sir Davis as well. So very clever.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Thanks Pete a mate, We'll see you tomorrow. M
