Speaker 1 (00:01):
Prince Harry has suffered a reputational blow this morning as
the country Chad cuts ties with one of his charities.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Yeah, let's get some more his O entertainment edit Peter
Ford Hope, Pete, what's going on? Well, this is an
organization called African Parks and Prince Harry is a former
president of it, but he still remains on the board.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Now.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
They have for the last fifteen years in the Republic
of Chad.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Chad is in Africa.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
It's bordered by Libya and Sudan and has population of
about twenty million people. And they obviously have been very
concerned about their conservation the elephant population in particular, and
they've reached a point that they've decided now with immediate effect,
no notice that African Parks, that's the name of the organization,
are out and they are accusing them basically of not

(00:46):
doing their job and getting results, but more to the point,
in terms of a charity and its image, they are
accusing them all so financial irregularities, of not auditing the accounts,
not being fully trans parent on how money is raised
and spent.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
So basically it's bad. Now, this is a bad.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Look for Prince Harry No one is suggesting that he
personally has done anything wrong or profited in any way,
but because on the back of what happened with the
Center Bali charity, it just looks messy. And the problem
when there is any scandal for any kind of charitable
organization is people just stop giving. There's so many people
out there shaking tins these days for very worthy causes

(01:29):
that if there's even a hint of a problem, people
think I'll direct my money elsewhere.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
So not a good day for Prince Harry.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Benefit has reunited on the red carpet.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Yes, so this is for Kiss of the Spider Woman,
a movie that's about to open. If you know the
backstory here, written by the Argentinean writer Manuel Pwick, started
off as a book, became a play. It then became
a movie, then became a musical of the movie. Now
we are doing a movie of the musical that.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Has had many lives.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
It's had many lives, and interestingly, with this version with
Jennifer Lopez as the star of it, they are marketing
it very much as a sort of a romantic love story.
It's really not. If you know the story, it's quite
a dark story. But Anyway, they had the big premiere
in New York and it was the reunion of Jennifer
and Ben because Ben is actually one.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Of the executive producers of the movie.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Now, clearly this all came together during that time when
they were back together, but they are speaking about each
other quite lovingly. Ben is singing her praises, not surprising.
It's obviously a movie that he's got an investment in,
and she's been quite open, as you'll see on the
view in saying the movie wouldn't have happened had it
not been for Ben.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
Have a look at this.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
I wouldn't dream of not being or you know, this
is an incredible story. This is the kind of role
I think that you know, Jennifer has want a player
her whole career, and she's fabulous.

Speaker 5 (02:58):
In the movie.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
I'm really excited for her. People are get a chance to
see because it.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
Was better and go.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
She's great.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
I'm just thrilled to be here tonight.

Speaker 5 (03:05):
His company, Artist Equity, it was a brand new company
at the time, and they financed a movie with Mahari
with the Mahari Group, and it was it wouldn't have
been made if it wasn't for him.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Give him that credit for sure. And I have been
listening to the soundtrack.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Actually it's fantastic, so I'm hoping the movie lives up
to that.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
It was a great stage musical. Two.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
All right, Pete, hey, listen, we've been on for about
thirty five minutes and I mention of Taylor Swift. Can
you fix that please?

Speaker 3 (03:29):
Yeah, we have to fix that. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
So now her publicity machine has now moved to the States,
so she's doing all the major outlets over there.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Started off in England, we got a lot of snippets
came out of all that.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Now it is now in America, so all the Tonight shows,
she's everywhere you look. And then in this clip, she
was asked about the Super Bowl. There's been a lot
of buzz that she would be the halftime entertainment next year.
Now we know, as we saw just earlier bad bunnies
doing that. But in this case looks it kind of
is suggesting that she was sounded out by who books

(04:01):
the X But she also is kind of suggesting that
she thinks it's Travis's turf and she thought it best
to sty away.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
That's my rating of it. See what do you think?
Jay Z?

Speaker 5 (04:12):
Has always been very good to me. Yes, our teams
are really close. It's like they sometimes will call and say,
how does she feel about Yeah, And that's not like
an official offer or an official or like a conference room.
Conversations are really close. How does she feel about it?
In general? And we've been we're always able to tell

(04:33):
him the truth, which is that, like I am in
love with a guy who does that sport on that
assual field, like that is violent chest the whole season.
I am locked in on what that man is doing
on the field. Can you imagine if like he's out
there every single week, like putting his life on the
line doing this very dangerous, very high pressure, high intensity sport.

(04:58):
And I'm like, I know what my choreo should be.
And this has nothing to do with Travis. He would
love for me to do it. I'm just too locked in.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
So was she offered it or not? Off? Do you reckon?

Speaker 1 (05:11):
I think she was sounded out about it. They put
the feelers out and she's like, no, that's that's I
couldn't do it because I've been too focused on him. Yeah,
I agree, that's assuming they make it though, I mean,
like that's true if Travis's team doesn't make it next year,
well then.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
They playing the Grand Final in Brisbane's.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Coming to Brisbane super Bowl. Yeah, thank you people. Seculator
