Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome back to the morning show.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Justin Baldoni has lost his six hundred and twelve million
dollar defamation lawsuit against co star Blake Lively because the
active failed to meet a deadline.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Yeah, let's get some more his HO Entertainment editor pitiofod
high Pete. This is a huge twist in the it
ends with us saga.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
What has the judge said.

Speaker 4 (00:19):
It's a very big twist.

Speaker 5 (00:20):
But it's a bit of a complex story and the
headlines are not really telling you the correct thing. So,
as I'm sure most people know, Blake Lively suing Justin
Baldoni for sexual harassment and other matters, he was countersuing
her for defamation. So it was actually a couple of
months ago the judge turfed out Justin's case and said

(00:41):
this doesn't stand up. And he had up until the
weekend just gone to file for an appeal against that decision.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
He did not file. People are saying like they make
it sound like he.

Speaker 5 (00:52):
Forgot to do it. No, he didn't want to do it.
He's not going to launch an appeal. That is his
own choice. Now. The grounds upon which the judge said,
I'm not going to let you pursue This is because
the defamatory comments that were made were actually in court filings.
They weren't actually said on a chat show, they weren't
set on social media, they were in court documents, and

(01:14):
therefore that's considered to be privileged speech. And I don't
know why his lawyers didn't tell him this before, So
therefore you can't sue. So that means that's gone. But
the other case of hers suing him, that's still full
steam ahead, and obviously he has to protect himself in
that case. That goes to court the end of March.
So she hasn't won anything, per se. He hasn't lost anything,

(01:37):
per se. It's just that one major chunk of that
complex story no longer exists.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Such a long lead time, isn't it not being in court?
Tilly March next year? Friends with Benefits page Jennifer Andison
has hard launched a new relationship.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
What do we know about him?

Speaker 4 (01:52):
Well, we've been reading about him for a while.

Speaker 5 (01:55):
Some people have said hehr he's a magician, he's a hypnotist,
he's a well guru.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
And there you go.

Speaker 5 (02:02):
That's what she had put up on her Instagram. Jim
Curtis is his name. It was his fiftieth birthday, and
you know, jen is very circumspect about what she shares,
particularly when it comes to her love life and whether
it's busy or not busy. But we've known Jim and
her have been together for quite some time now. But
now this is obviously what they call the hard launch.

(02:23):
So I had to look through his Instagram account just
to see it because sometimes you hear, you know, hypnotist
and wellness guru, you think, oh, this guy might be.

Speaker 4 (02:31):
Really spooky, but he's not.

Speaker 5 (02:33):
It's a lot of common sense, it's a lot of
positive thinking. These are one of the many clips that
Jim has put up to his social media account. This
is the new love of Jennifer Aniston's life, Jim.

Speaker 6 (02:45):
Curtis and relationships are the most important things for happiness.
So having people in your life that nurture you and
help you grow as a person, it's super important. So
you should not be alone, nor should you saddle. If
you're in a love relationship, or if you're in a
relationship with someone that doesn't fulfill you, then you should

(03:06):
go out there and cultivate more friends. Definitely don't settle
for that relationship. At the same time, also don't be alone.
So that's the paradox of late.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
So how cool was that?

Speaker 5 (03:16):
If you're a big star, you know, having your own
personal therapist on call twenty four to seven.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
That's pretty good.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
I like that.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
I like his vibe, you know, like instead of calming
and that when you're in.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
A relationship with a hypnotist, do you have to permanently
worry that at some point you're going to dance like
a chicken in public. I was on first out of
the friendship, and I have to do that?

Speaker 2 (03:36):
How did I?

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Yeah, definitely for Nats reportedly up to something GCE Pete,
what's going on here?

Speaker 5 (03:44):
Yeah, well, reportedly you'll see a lot of stories at
the moment, they're doing the round saying she's going to.

Speaker 4 (03:50):
Write a tell all book and she wants revenge.

Speaker 5 (03:52):
And don't believe it's She may write a book, but
it's not being done on the premise of trying to
down Hugh. They have an agreement between the two of
them they're not going to say anything disparaging publicly about
each other.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
Both very very wealthy people.

Speaker 5 (04:09):
She certainly doesn't need it to write a book to
get some money coming in.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
She's doing just fine, because she's got so many other interests.

Speaker 5 (04:16):
One of Deb's main things, of course, has been the
issue of international adoptions into Australia. She's not going to
let that go. That's her real passion, and she may
be writing a book based on that. So supposedly she
was seen in a publisher's offers, since she had notes
and sample pages and all that.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
Take her with a grain of salt.

Speaker 5 (04:34):
You won't see her at any point slagging off you
or vice versa.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
Now, if you wonder where Kylie Gillies is, she's over
standing by to support Pedro Pascali case just in case
he misses out on People Magazine Sexiest Matter.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
She's not allowed within two.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Hundred meters of him at this point. But what's happening
with the People Magazine Sexiest Matter life? I feel like
we were starting the countdown was yesterday. We're still talking
about the count Are we any closes?

Speaker 4 (04:58):
Yeah? Well, we are close to finding that. We certainly
will know later today.

Speaker 5 (05:03):
There's a chance we may even know by mid day
today because it's being revealed in the Jimmy Fallon show,
so that tapes that around about an hour from now,
so word might leak out from that. Meanwhile, some of
the past winners have got together to compare notes and
work out who they think might be this year's recipient.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
Have a look.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
And now I'm about to hand the phone off to
another sexy man.

Speaker 5 (05:26):
And here you go, man, I'm passing to the only
sexiest man alive to ever receive an egot.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
I'm passing the phone to a sexist man alive whose
cover was almost a sexiest mine.

Speaker 6 (05:39):
If you have some saus I'm selling. Butt is sexy too,
is it?

Speaker 4 (05:44):
But I just have to hand us off to the
next guy. I'm going to pass on the phone to. Well,
this guy, he may be on his chest, sexy little.

Speaker 6 (05:59):
He did the whole thing.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
So yeah, here is one sex foulf to another.

Speaker 5 (06:06):
And Australia's Jacob Alaudie is a short odds favorite, as
is Travis Kelcey. So Glenn Powell missed out last year
he was the favorite. So often they do have surprise choices.
I think it's got a lot to do with who's
got the most enthusiastic publicist, quite.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
Frankly, but we will know in the next few hour.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
What do you reckon, Eddie? We'll keep counting down That's
what I know. For think.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
I like Jason Kelsey, Travis Kelsey's brother, Normal money, one
for the normal guys, had a great sense of humor.
I reckon he could be a winner.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
It's not Dancing with the Stars days, well, is it.
We can't know, we can't count down to it, we
can't count down the boat.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Okay, today is the countdown to people sexiest only.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
Thank you, Petere, to you, coming back to
