Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome back. Kim Kardashian's making headlines today after those hairy
underpants yesterday. The wide reaching chat on the Call Her
Daddy podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
From Always joined by entertainment editor Peter Ford. I've had
listened to some of this. She did not hold that digit.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
She no, she didn't on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
It's worth listening to. And she actually is very circumspect
in the past talking about Kanye because obviously co parenting
presents difficulties and challenges anyway, even more so when you're
dealing with somebody who does have serious mental health issues,
and also it's all aggravated by extreme wealth that complicates

(00:38):
everything as well. And this story I think emphasizes that
she talks about the Lamborghini, so I think it says
a lot when she tells it. Here's Kim Kardashian loved that.

Speaker 4 (00:49):
You.

Speaker 5 (00:50):
I mean, I would like come home and we had
like five Lamborghinis, and I'd come home and they I'll
be gone, you know, if he was in an episode
and I'd be like, oh, where's all our cars, like
my new car, and it would be like, oh, he
gave him away to all of his friends. And then
I'd be like huh okay, and then I'd come home
again and at a different point, we had, you know,

(01:11):
five more Lamborghinis, and then I'd wake up in another
episode and they'd all be gone again, and that time
I was like, keep them guys, you know, like I
don't know, I don't know what to say, but like
I never felt like I didn't know. You know what
you're going to get when you wake up, and that's
like a really unsettling feeling.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
I think it was Ted Bulpit that said not the
Kings would well not the Lamborghinis. Wow, Yeah, Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
I love the complication of extreme wealth.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
It would be the last complication. You wouldn't it as
long as.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
You have five more than this day hate paint. Details
of Diane Keaton's estate have been revealed, but a surprising
family member said to inherit a small fortune.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Yeah. Reggie, her dog, and in fact, in the very
last post she brought up on Instagram, she was with
Reggie and she was a noted and more lover. I mean,
she gave to so many various animal charities. So this
revelation is that she has made arrangements for Reggie to
be looked after five million dollar US donation and for that,

(02:14):
Reggie will be cared for till the end of his life.
And this is not uncommon. Actually there's a more extreme
example of it. But if you are single and you
have got dogs, and you know that you are seriously ill,
you want to know your pets are going to be
cared for. You may not want to entrust that to
another family member. So five million of the one hundred

(02:35):
million dollar estate has been set aside to make sure
that Reggie is not only cared for, but anything that's
then left over will go to that particular animal charity.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Beautiful Stuff. Keaton's former coastar, Bette Midler, appeared on Stephen
Colbert's talk show this week and she was spectacular.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Yeah, she was fantastic. She's almost eighty. I think she's
eighty in December, looking good. She even sang a bit
of a parody on a wind beneath my wings. She
was in really good form. But of course they had
to talk about Diane Keaton, having only just lost her
a matter of days ago. They were co stars and friends.
First Wives Club, of course, is a classic movie of

(03:13):
modern times, and in this you can just see how
much admiration and love Bet has for Diane Keaton, have
a look.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
I have a great memory of her with Goldie Hahn.
When we made First Wives Club. I had never worked
This is our first scene together. I had never met
them before. I was so intimidated because they had been
before the cameras for you know, many many, many many movies,
and I was a little bit of a newbie. I
made like five. So we sat there and they started

(03:44):
telling stories. And I'm telling you, I never laughed so
hard in my whole life. I just laughed. The entire
day just flew by like a dream. Was It really
was brilliant and magical.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
So yet another person, especially over several days now, just
writing about what a lovely person she was to be around.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Yeah, good stuff. Hey, thank you, Pete. We'll be back
to you again.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Charlotte, thank you,
