Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well with some more entertainment news.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Now global star Tenny Swims has cynthy NRL into a frenzy.
This is just days out from the big NRL Grand Final.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
Let's catch up with this. His Peter fordback with us.
What's going on?

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Pick Well, he's sick and there's no confirmation as to
whether he's getting better and whether he'll be able to
perform on Sunday. So this stems back to last Friday
in Hawaii. He was there to do three shows, but
he took the stage on Friday night and during that
show said I'm sorry, I can't go on and just left. Now,
the Saturday night show was canceled. The Friday night show

(00:34):
was then moved to Sunday night that then got canceled.
So it looks like it's a fairly serious condition. Whether
he'll be ready or not is the big question, you
would like to think. And some kind of throat infection
could be brought under control with the space of a week,
but maybe not. If it's really really serious. Perhaps that's
the way and the doctors may say you are injuring

(00:56):
yourself by going and performing at this point in time,
so they won't say it publicly. But you can be
guaranteed the NRL is already working on a Plan B.
They probably had a Plan B. Anyway, any sensible producer would,
but you would have to now be seriously looking at
who is available if we need them on Sunday, And
ironically it'll probably end up being an Aussie act and

(01:17):
they get no end to people saying we only want
Aussie acts on these big events.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
So we have to wait and see Noilsy Yeah playing
Lara Zil Club out the back now back somewhere is
way down perfect. Still on topic of sporting entertainment, the
twenty twenty six Super Bowl halftime act has been announced.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
The reaction pee well Bad Bunny, who's he is from
a lot of people.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
I suppose Bad Bunny is still.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Something of a cult following in this country. He's massive
right around the world, particularly in the Latin American countries.
He's just recently played a whole residency in Puerto Rico,
which saw thousands and thousands of people travel to Puerto
Rico specifically to him. He's not a safe choice for
the super Bowl. He is quite political. He's been quite

(02:05):
vocal about his opposition to Donald Trump, and in fact
on this world tour that he's doing, he's not actually
playing any dates in the United States because he's fearful
there could be ice rays and deportations to people who
turn up to see him perform. But he's obviously not
too worried about Super Bowl Day next year because he
is now the confirmed act for that.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Is it? So is the American No, he's put it.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Like him Larry. He wears really cool outfits and glasses
and hats, and he's very, very theatrical in his presentation.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Yeah, it sounds like exactly the sort of performance that
I'd like. He's not that niche. If I've heard of him,
I'd never know anybody. If I've heard of bad Bunny.
That's what you call Tony when you're angry at him,
little bad buddy. Hey Peter. The Queen of Pop Madonna
has given her first ever podcast interview.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Yeah, so she's obviously you can be guarantee he's had
hundreds and hundreds of offers to appear on podcast, but
this is her first one, and it's a podcast call
on purpose. It's very much about health and spirituality and
make yourself feel happy and calm, and that's why she
was eager to do it because we've known through the
years that she has embraced various forms of meditation and

(03:16):
religion and spirituality, so she's well versed to be able
to talk about it. This is Madonna on the.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Podcast a lot through the years, like what is the
reason you're still saying? What is the reason you keep going?
Why have you not fallen by the wayside like other people.
Definitely a lot of my peers who who are no
longer with us, like, what would you say is the key?
And I would say that is my spiritual life. I

(03:44):
absolutely would not be where I am or who I
am if I did not have that. I'm not here
to promote a product or I don't want anyone to
buy anything. I just I want to share something with
people that has pretty much saved my life.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
That sounds dramatic, but.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
It's true, So check out the full podcast. You know,
Madonna is a very astute, wise woman. You know, she
does some old things at times, but she's pretty cluey
and she has last a distance. As she indicated there
a lot of her peers are no longer around to
tell a story.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
That's joy Shetty. He used to be a monk for
many years. This is really successful. Well that's the month guy,
the Monk guy. Yeah, Joe Shetty, thank you, Pete, thank you,
thank you, Petter coming off for you. If you're too
scared to make Italian knoki at home, today's recipe is quick,
it's easy, and I'll have your cooking like a pro.
Oh that sounds good. I'm always scared to do nilki.

(04:42):
Yeah no, it's it's not that hard time. You just
get some stick around for that. You got the shops
and buy it
