Well, two of Hollywood's funniest men teamed up this year.
Will Ferrell and Steve Carrell led an all star voice
cast indespicable me for.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
They're an absolute right. I was lucky enough to sit
down with the A list actors in a Brecky TV
exclusive see very well, thank you my mind way back
to Nugatu's real similarity handling some of the vibes, Yeah,

Honestly, when I saw the film, I did not recognize
Well's voice.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
You had no idea.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Well, I knew it was him, but it did not
sound like him, and I think that is a testament
to his vocal acting ability. I found it I fantastic.
Rented a small cottage in Provence and I lived there
and uh spoke with the people.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
So this was a character, kind of a character, so
you'll mean to those people, and it's this role has
cost me so much money.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
I bout a push pushas the French. Right, Yeah, okay, good,
that was.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
We've got a little bit of a game here to
play with you. If that's all right, We're calling it
despicable me despicable. You just cue the jingle if you could.
Thanks mate, despicable me, despicable you. Here we go. It's
really good, Steve. What is one despicable thing about Will?

Speaker 3 (01:22):
He makes me laugh on camera and ruin takes. And
I hate it because I pride myself. I really do,
because I pride myself on being able to keep a
straight face one on camera. But I can't do it.
I can't do it with him. There there were moments
in Anchorman that were impossible.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Well, well, what is one despicably brilliant thing about Steve?

Speaker 3 (01:47):
He's about to host a new game show.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
He'd like to tell you.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
About it, something called despicable, despicable job.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
You guys have started in four films together, Will, Can
you name them? Anchorman? One yepant to Yes, Bewitch, Yes,
Melinda and Melinda oh d D Dean Two points remember
are seen at the basketball court.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
I will never forget it. It was going to be
a one. We weren't told it was a wonner, which
means just a camera just follows you the entire time
and if you screw anything up, there's no cut points.
There's no cutpoint.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Oh at the racetrack, No, the one in the best Okay, okay.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
So he said, But don't, don't. He told us it's
not a wonner. He said, we'll shoot it this way
and then we're going We're go in and get coverage
on everything, so don't worry about screwing anything up. And
we did it one time and he said lunch and
that was it.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Well, wait, do you say your friendship with Steve? In
twenty years.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
Time, I will be ninety six, so we'll probably be
back in my house in Provence.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Yeah, and I'll be perfecting.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
I'll probably get the French accent down by then. And yeah,
just be playing cards, dominoes and drinking tea.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Tea and occasionally some absence. We're going to have to leave. Despicable,
despeakable you there maybe an outro there from you will.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Time to go, what's the end of the show, Despicable me?

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Despicable You?

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Did we figure it out? Probably not?

Speaker 2 (03:24):
That just seem like it's just a riot. It was
just a chat. I just went on and on and on.
His team was and wrap it up, wrap it up.
But that was so funny. I could chat to them
all day.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
And are those jungle situations when you throw out a
question like that and you're not quite sure they're going
to pick it up absolutely

Speaker 2 (03:38):
