Speaker 1 (00:01):
You may have noticed that Swifties are in a frenzy
after Taylor announced her twelfth studio album yesterday.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
It just took over socials, didn't it. From All were
joined by entertainment editor Peter Ford. Are you you may
have noticed this? Pete and she made the announcement longside
of course her boyfriend Travis Kelsey.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (00:17):
Well this time yesterday we were talking about the fact
something was brewing. We knew that she was going to
be appearing, or we had guessed. It wasn't a hard
guess that she was appearing on the New Heights podcast
and we'll be making an announcement, but we didn't know
exactly what the announcement was going to be. But everything
obviously is coordinated to the second with Taylor, and she

(00:37):
dropped a little teaser which did confirm that the big
News which will go to air tomorrow at nine am
Sydney Times. So we'll be across at Live tomorrow as
it goes as the podcast actually drops where more details
will be revealed.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
But they did drop.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
This little teaser after we'd finished an air yesterday.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
I wanted to show you something.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Okay, what we got, We got a briefcase.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Yep, Mick Green, Yep, this is my brand new album,
The Life of a show Girl.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
So yeah, more details tomorrow. Now, orange is the color,
Chris see you up with all this concept of the
Easter eggs that Taylor offers.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
And dropping them, dropping them just to tease.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
Yes, little teasers that Yan now can go back and think, oh, yeah,
she was sending a message there, or she was alerting
us to that when she said that, or when she
wore that. It's very very well constructed the way she
goes about it. She used to do it just to
amuse herself, but now all the Swifties are right into
it now.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
So as to say, more details.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
Tomorrow, some obvious questions that hopefully Travis or Jason will ask,
such as, you know, where's the music come from, what's
your inspiration? Did you write it while you were on
that massive tour? Are you going to go on tour again?
All of those questions will be revealed tomorrow. So meanwhile,
now I don't know if this part was coordinated or not,
but it's only helped fuel the frenzy that exists today

(02:10):
is that Travis has done a massive spread for GQ
magazine and it's a really in depth interview.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
You can see here's some of the vision. There's a
great photo shoot.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
Must have taken several days to really put it all together.
And he's talking about his undying love and respect for Taylor.
So it's all very full on at the moment if
you are a swifties So more details tomorrow as that
podcast does drop.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
It's just too delicious, isn't it.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
It's just a great, definite swamp theme that photo shoot.
Some other big exciting news, A trailer for season two
of With Love Meghan has dropped.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
Yes, it has, and this starts at the end of
the month yesterday. We're talking about the new Netflix deal
that Harry and Meghan have got.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
It's not an extension of the old deal, but we
do know.

Speaker 4 (02:59):
This second series was filmed back to back with the
first series.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
I'll show you a little bit of the trailer.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
What I find interesting is that you would think she
might be calling in some big name friends, you know,
such as Oprah or Serena Williams.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
To be a part of it. That's not the case.

Speaker 4 (03:14):
The only got a big name in the second series
is Chrissy Tagan.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
But have a look for yourself. He was a little
of the trailer. I love the idea of spending time
together and finding new ways to show that people you care.
Look at that. Oh my gosh, I could do this
every day. Let's get creative and you learn something new
NICs have done. I don't know what's happening. I'm so
glad you came to show me how to do this.

(03:41):
It is working. Today's about getting out of your comfort zone.
I have no idea how to start. Everybody should have
one of those at homes you think so.

Speaker 4 (03:50):
So Rock and Robin and it drops on August twenty seven.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
I just want a Jay Shetty in there. So he's
a name, ye, trou X monk guy. Yeah he's really.
He's got huge following.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
I've gotted lots of little moments of magic in there too.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
I did.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Yeah, nothing says I love you like a flower sprinkle right.
I'll be watching for sure. An iconic Ossie journalist has
given a candid update about his health.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Who's this peet?

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (04:17):
I wanted to mention this because if you haven't a
chance to see, if don't read The Australian, make an
effort to do it today. Because Mike Munro has written
a very powerful piece. I mean, he's one of our
great journos and communicators.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
This is possibly the.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
Most powerful thing he's ever done, because he's revealed the
fact that he has in recent weeks undergone a radical prostatectomy.
I hope I've said that correctly and oddly enough, there's
a backstory to it. Obviously, with his work through the years,
he's done many stories about prostate cancer. In fact, it
was ten years ago on seven Sunday Night program where

(04:50):
he actually did have a prostate exam on air, and
that was in itself a very brave thing to do.
It reduces stigma, it raises awareness all of those things.
And lo and behold, although he's been having regular tests,
it was determined in recent times that Mike in fact
did have prostate cancer. Now in the story today, he's

(05:11):
gone through all the details and the fears and the
realities and the risks that exist for a man when
they have to go that type of surgery. So have
a look at it, and we certainly send Mike all
of our love and good wishes.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Of course, he's one of the good guys. And Peter
quickly Ryan Reynolds has given Deadpool fans a bit of
a tease, yes, talking about dropping Easter eggs.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
The word is that Ryan could be back as Deadpool
in the next Avengers movie. Now this is because on
his social media today he's gone.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Now that's what he's dropped.

Speaker 4 (05:43):
You can see the Deadpool's signature all there in red
on top of the Avengers. So people are putting two
and two together, hopefully not getting five, and they believe
that Deadpool is on the way back very soon.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Okay, dropping teasers all.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Over now anything anymore, it's gonna be all like Cloak
and Jackets. Thanks by

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
