Speaker 1 (00:01):
Having a pretty fantastic conversation about Kim Kardashian's Last Things
stick around for that. Megan Mikael sat down with Fortune
magazine for the Most Powerful Women Series. Yeah, our entertainment
edit of Peter Fordy's Live with All the Details?
Speaker 2 (00:12):
What has she shared?
Speaker 3 (00:13):
Pep?
Speaker 4 (00:14):
While she shared a lot, she's good in these situations
she opens up. I mean, of course, anything she says
people are going to criticize and find fault with. But this,
as you say, is the most Powerful Women's Summit being
held in Washington, DC. Some people would question why she
was part of it, but she talks about financial independence
for women. She talks about the future of her with
(00:35):
Love TV series, very vague about that, although there is
a Christmas special dropping in November. And she also does
talk about the fact that when she does utilize social media,
which she is doing a lot these days, she can't
allow the comments to be turned on because it impacts
her and impacts her staff.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
This is mega Markel.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
The question can be around knee sayers, but if you
really see the swallow of support that surrounds the brand
and me, that's what I feel the most, and that's
what I appreciate, but by design, I also recognize that
a lot of those people aren't going to my page
to see negativity. And so not just protecting myself or
(01:16):
the people that work with me, but also the supporters.
So I don't have the comments section on. That's a choice.
Speaker 4 (01:22):
And yet yeah, well, as we all know, never read
the comments whenever in the news. Don't read the comments,
and she certainly wouldn't want to see some of.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
Them, okayete Alec Baldwin has taken a social media following
a car accident.
Speaker 4 (01:34):
Everything okay, Yeah, everything's okay, And as I say in
the classics, it could have been a lot worse. He
was driving the car, his brother Stephen was a passenger
in the car, actually was his wife Hilaria's car that
they were driving, and it was basically head on and
you know, as I say, it could have been a
lot worse.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
He has taken to social media to explain what happened.
But this morning, I was in this car accident.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
Cut me off in a truck, big garbage truck, I
mean a garbage truck size.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
Of a well. To avoid hitting him, I hit a tree.
I had a big fat tree and crushed my car
at my waife's car.
Speaker 4 (02:09):
So yes, he'll be in trouble when she gets back home.
But yeah, it's good that everything's okay.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
Absolutely, a veteran Aussie broadcaster is facing some health troubles.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
Feet you have some information on this.
Speaker 4 (02:20):
Yeah, Sending lots of morning show love to Darren Hinch
this morning. Darren has been readmitted to hospital again. He
was in hospital about a month ago and at that
time it was a life and death situation. He pulled
through there that photogo there. He doesn't look too bright,
does he. He's posted that himself. He's not called the
human headline for no reason. And at this time he's
(02:40):
in there because infection in both of his legs and
I'm told he may actually be having skin grafts sooner
ruther than later. So you know, Darren has a whole
litany of health issues through the years, but like a
phoenix from the ashes, he always ends up rising. Yet again,
he's eighty one years old. There's no doubt he has
slowed down a lot in re at months. He's now
(03:01):
using a walking frame. He has in recent times been
investigating going into an assisted care living facility. So he's
being realistic about the fact that his health isn't what
it was, and we hope and pray.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
That he pulls through this pretty quickly.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
Yes, any lot's of love, old mate. All Right, Jennifer
Anison and Reese Witherspoon are back with another season of
Morning Wars.
Speaker 4 (03:22):
Yeah, so the trailer has dropped, and there are twists
and turns always, particularly between Reese's character and Jen's character,
and they usually involve the character of Corey, as it
does in this scene.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
Beautifully acted. Even the silences sometimes are quite special. Have
a look at this.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
Because clearly I'm a massacrest and even though you're a
huge pen of the I really I believe in you.
Well maybe you shouldn't.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
What does that mean?
Speaker 2 (03:47):
Why a supery?
Speaker 3 (03:51):
Oh? I slept with Corey.
Speaker 4 (03:52):
So there's your bombshell there, and no doubt that's going
to lead to all sorts of ups and downs to.
Speaker 3 (03:59):
Four Series four? And what's that one? What's the one
that's on now? We're watching it now? Fours dropped? Now
it's dropping now it's Stripy.
