Speaker 1 (00:01):
This is politics or entertainment, or maybe a bit of both.
Donald Trump now entertainment. Second, this is Donald Trump has
threatened to revoke comedian and actress Rosio o' donald's US citizenship,
calling Rosie a threat to humanity.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Okay, that's entertainment. Here's our entertainment Debeta for a fee.
What's going on?

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Yeah? What is this? Round? Seventy five, seventy six. I
mean we've been down this path.

Speaker 4 (00:24):
A few times. This has been going on for twenty years,
Rosier Donald versus Donald Trump, trading insults gets nastier every
time around. And of course, the big difference now as
opposed to when it all first began, is that you
are dealing with the president of the United States who
took to his social media called truth Social and said
he is considering revoking her citizenship. Now it's sort of

(00:48):
it's unclear if he can actually do that. Most people
think that's not an option open to him anyway. But
that's the thing that he's thinking about. And look, I'm
not a major Rosie o'donald fan, but I think saying
she's a threat to humanity is maybe overstating the case. Well,
of course, Rosie had to fire back, didn't she and
a scathing retort that she provided as well included and

(01:09):
she decided to include a photograph with Donald Trump with
Jeffrey Epstein as well, referring to his sexual misdemeanors in
the past. Whole lot of stuff that she dredged up. Now, interestingly,
this has just dropped. This was an interview that Rosie
gave a couple of hours ago in Ireland on a
radio show and she's talking about this latest round and

(01:32):
she's saying it that she got drawn into it. Thought
it was a joke at first when someone showed it
to her on truth Social and she thought, well, I'll
respond anyway, didn't really realize it actually was Trump who'd
written that. Here is Rosie O'Donnell just a couple of
hours ago on radio in Ireland where she now lives.

Speaker 5 (01:51):
It had a red check instead of a blue check.
So I thought it was a fake account. I said, oh,
that's kind of funny, but it's fake. And he said
it's not fake. It's on his truth Social. I don't
go on true Social, I don't follow him or anything.
And then I sat down and wrote the reply and
posted it. And to tell you the truth. That was
kind of the end of it for me, because I

(02:11):
know we can't do that, but the Supreme Court has
given him unbridled powers, and who knows what he can
and can't do.

Speaker 4 (02:18):
So she moved to Ireland of course, to get away
from Trump, and full credit to her, a lot of
people talked about leaving the United States if he got
back in she actually did do it. But I got
to say, I think they both seem slightly obsessed with
each other. So this will die down and she will
still she won't get a citizenship revoked, and we'll have
a rest for a while, then we'll come back and
do it all again.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
And then that's three months time.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Let's see that. I meantime, Paris Jackson, she's expressed concern
and this is all over her late dad's.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
Estate, yeah, which is a major beneficiary of with her
two brothers, and clearly it's in a state that is
still very active. I mean money still comes in from royalties,
a lot of them. You've got the stage show which
is running here in Australia at the moment. There's a
lot of money coming into that estate. But she is
concerned about massive bills that are going out and being

(03:06):
paid that are not really specified as to where the
money's going or why. Now they seem to be legal bills,
and there would be a lot of legal stuff going
on with that estate. But at the same time, she
wants to know what it is. As a beneficiary, she
feels she's entitled to know what it is these payments
are actually being made for, and she says she's not

(03:28):
getting the answers, so now she's going to spend more
on legal bills to take this to court to find
out time from audits.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
Can you imagine how complex all of that is.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Yeah, that's what they bang.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
On, just these webs everywhere. Justin Bieber's new album Swag
still has got social media in a frenzy.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
Yeah, So it dropped and people seem to be really impressed.
It's the most downloads, there's all sorts of facts and figures,
most downloads that Beaba's ever had for a release in
one day, most streamed first non Spotify.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Over the last three days, all that stuff.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
So it's off to a great start and the critics
like it, and most people are saying it's a freedom
that he's never had before because he's free of Scooter
Braun who he had to pay almost fifty million dollars
at Australian dollars to be free of now that because
of a canceled concert tour a couple of years ago
and also unpaid commissions. And this is the first time

(04:23):
where he's been completely free to create music as he wants.
And you know so much what we've seen of Bieber
in the last few months. He looks disheveled, he looks unhappy,
people are concerned about his state of mind, et cetera.
Yet he's still able to create this great music and
in fact, even Scooter Braun himself has gone on to
social media to say he thinks the album is absolutely fantastic.

(04:43):
So let's wait and see over the next few days
and weeks as to how it continues to sell. But
it does seem justin Bieber is back on the charts
where he belongs.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
It's good news. Celebrities. They've been spotted at Oasis's Manchester
show yes.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
And of course Manchester being their hometown, it was an
extra special gig. They did the first shows in Cardiff
and Wales kind of a warm up, I guess, and
to come back home to Manchester.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
Sell out shows.

Speaker 4 (05:11):
Needless to say, Orlando Bloom there is a massive, massive fan,
decided to film himself up there, singing along with all
the songs that he seems to know so well, and
he's uploaded that to his social media, clearly having a
very very good time. And the other person I wanted
to show you was recently there is it looks happy.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
I have seen so much of him lately. He was
at the and now he was at Wimbledon.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
On the yard honeymoon.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
And in Perth a couple of weeks ago as well.
But so the other person who was there recently married Melvie,
who also seems to be having a very good time
on the shoulders of her husband Rory.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Have a look at this. Nothing like a good chorus.

(06:16):
The people behind, people behind you.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Remember I said on your shoulders at the Sherbet reunion
and everyone was so upset with that.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
They really were my neck ached for weeks. That is
that's typical honeymoon behavior right there. In a couple of
weeks that were saying no, no, I'm not putting it
on the shoulder.

Speaker 5 (06:34):
Get yeah, that's it.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
But they're on their honeymoon, so it's okay.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
But for now, he'll do.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
It for now.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
He's not happy happy, And it's a very long song,
about five and a half minutes.

Speaker 5 (06:46):
That's long.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
Neither was I. When you're on you would have it.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
And I didn't want to get down. You're like, get
off my neck. I'm like no, we're going through a kebab.
It made you walk all the way down the street
to the cabin vance.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Yeah, thank you, thank you.
