That's right, not long ago now. The under sixteen social
media band starts on December ten, and the alb and
Easy government has put the owners on the tech platforms
like Meta to ensure underage users are removed. Meta has
started telling Instagram, Facebook and Threads users it believes are
under sixteen that they have two weeks before their accounts
will be deactivated. Those messages will start going out today

then download their messages and photos before their accounts are deactivated.
And if you are over sixteen and you receive one
of these message you will be able to do some
face scans to prove your age. Meta is the first
of the social media companies to reveal how it will
comply with this world first ban. Of course, Snapchat and

Police are investigating whether the kidnapping of a grandmother from
a Sydney home is linked to a gangland shooting. Shots
were fired at the home of an Underworld figure at
