Rob.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
He helped transform wrestling into a family entertainment sport known worldwide.
Speaker 3 (00:35):

this kind of niche sideline act and transformed into this
global phenomenon. And he was one of the original faces,
the original superstars all through the eighties, nineties and into
the two thousands with his bandanna, his ripped physique, and
his shirt shredding antics. I mean, even if you didn't
really watch wrestling, you kind of knew who Hulk Hogan was.
(00:57):
As you say, he had a heart attack at his
home in Florida this morning. He was taken to hospital,
where sadly, he was pronounced dead. But Hogan had so
many injuries during his time in the ring that he
once joked he had almost all of his original body
parts replaced. But he wasn't just famous for what he
did in the ring. He also had a number of
movies to his name. He was the star of his
own reality TV show, and most recently he sort of
(01:19):
started dabbling in a bit of politics, at least on
the sidelines. He was a big fan of Donald Trump,
and here he was last year at the Republican National Convention,
really lighting up the stage.

name was not Hulk Hogan.
