Photographs and memories are all Diana Devlyn has left of
her mother, father, and brother after she lost each of
them suddenly to heart attacks.

Speaker 2 (00:13):

Speaker 1 (00:22):
The mother of two is now vigilant about exercising and
maintaining a healthy diet to lower her risk of heart disease.

Speaker 2 (00:30):

to be around for my children and for my family.

Speaker 3 (00:35):

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Better off having a really healthy breakfast and something that
contains whole grains.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
One in five women's skip breakfast, prompting a reminder to
take the time. Oats contain beta glucken, which can lower
the risk of heart disease. Add fruit and protein for
more nutrients. Menopause and hormonal changes can also increase the
risk of heart problems for women, as lower estrogen can
lead to higher cholesterol.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Eating well is important, moving more, managing stress, not smoking,
not vaping, limiting alcohol.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Regular checkups are also recommended.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
If you're over forty five, you are eligible for a
Medicare subsidized heart health check. Go and see your GP today.

Have you ever wondered what life might be like if you stopped worrying about being wanted, and focused on understanding what you actually want? That was the question Hope Woodard asked herself after a string of situationships inspired her to take a break from sex and dating. She went "boysober," a personal concept that sparked a global movement among women looking to prioritize themselves over men. Now, Hope is looking to expand the ways we explore our relationship to relationships. Taking a bold, unfiltered look into modern love, romance, and self-discovery, Boysober will dive into messy stories about dating, sex, love, friendship, and breaking generational patterns—all with humor, vulnerability, and a fresh perspective.
