Speaker 2 (00:08):
Right then I realized, my dear, how many times I've
watched that movie with my kids?

Speaker 1 (00:13):
Do you know how many times you've actually played me
that little drop ever since you found out Madison was
getting married.

Speaker 4 (00:18):
Tell me about it.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
It's cute, it is cute. It's very cute.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
It is Father of the brideweak.

Speaker 1 (00:26):

Hello, hello, hello.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Well, congratulations first of all to you and Major Nelson. Well,
I'm an i Jennie fan, and it's just the most awesome,
lovely news.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
And how are you doing?

Speaker 1 (00:46):
How are you keeping a lid on the nerves or
the excitement or everything?

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Good?

Speaker 4 (00:52):
Pretty pretty excited.

Speaker 5 (00:54):
I'm starting to feel a bit more real now, being
year out. Yes now, but no, not not.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
Too nervous yet.

Speaker 5 (01:02):
I think once it hits sort of the week of
all the months leading up to it, it will be
a bit different.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Yeah, that's right, because the weekend past a year, wasn't
it a year ago?

Speaker 6 (01:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (01:12):
I know, it's just flown bough already.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
The week of you get swept up in a bit
of a whirlwind of just in this love from everybody.
Everybody is just so happy for you, and everyone's loving
each other to bits, and it's it's all.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
It's a really wonderful week. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:31):
Yeah, I'm really looking forward to it. Here's a lot
of planning at the moment comes first, Yeah, but it'll
be good to see it all come together and just
enjoy the day. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
I'm very excited for the people who who don't know
the story. Can you tell me if you tell us
briefly about the engagement and the when Nelson actually asked
you to marry him, Where was it and how to
go down?

Speaker 4 (01:56):
Yeah. So we went on basically trip of our time
to Europe and that we've been planning for years.

Speaker 5 (02:05):
And we ended up in Santorini on our knee he trip,
and we visited this winery which Nelson had actually gone
to a few years ago already and just said it
was the most amazing place he's ever been, Okay, and
I'd always wanted to go there.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
So we just planned a little day, a little day
out just the two of us away from the rest
of the Compehee group.

Speaker 5 (02:27):
And we had some wine and it was just very casual,
and then all of a sudden, Nelson said, do you
want to take some photos? And I said, yeah, of course,
like why not mess you either.

Speaker 6 (02:37):
And then you were going to take some photos of
the two of us, and then I was looking out
the view and then I turned around and he was
down on one knee. I was already tearing up by
this point, and I think he was as well.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
And yeah, it was just it was just the best
moment ever.

Speaker 5 (02:56):
And of course we had heaps of people watching as well,
which definitely I don't think help the nerves.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
It was really nice everyone, you know, everyone was taking videos.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
For us, and they were clappy and cheering, and yeah,
it was just such a special moment.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
We set the bar high for anniversary celebrations, maybe destination.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Yeah, so you get.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Home and you tell mom and dad who was who
teared up? Quicker mum or old mate?

Speaker 4 (03:29):
I don't know what wed well, obviously I think they
knew yeah already, but everyone was just super happy. And
we actually facetimed or called them while we were.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
Over there, so.

Speaker 5 (03:45):
That's yeah.

Speaker 6 (03:46):
Yeah, so we called everyone because we were still over
there for another week and a half or so.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Before I came home, so Nursa drove all the way
to Frio to ask my permission. But he came twice
because I was at a funeral the first time. Wasn't okay,
come again the next day.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
I don't think not not everyone does that these days,
and I think that that is I think that's a
really lovely noble Madison.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Is Stella going to be the ring bearer?

Speaker 5 (04:10):
We have decided for now we're not having Stella at
the wedding.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
I'm very sad, probably just as well. Stella is Madison's
French frenchie and she is gorgeous. But yes, I don't
blame you.

Speaker 6 (04:24):
Just a lot of work.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Yeah yeah, they they have their own rank.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Yeah, you've got enough to worry about on the day
without scooping.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
I've got a couple of really important things that we
have to sort out now. Between now and the wedding day.
You have to get Nelson to switch from the West
Coast to the doctors. Oh no, no, no.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
I might change names or religions for their spouse, but
not their football team.

Speaker 6 (04:56):
No.

Speaker 5 (04:57):
Yeah, it might be hard to convince him, be right.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
And I know Mum's listening. Who should do this speech first?

Speaker 4 (05:03):
Mum?

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Or myself. What do you reckon? Because I said suggested
she goes first and I'll stand up if you needs support.

Speaker 4 (05:11):
Yeah, maybe maybe, Mum, because I think if you went
thirst you would just she would just get really, really
nervous more than she Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Maybe I should be brilliant, should be great.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
Madison.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Aside from the wedding, if I may, I can't let
you go without hour.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
We wouldn't have to ask something.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
I have to ask you, you know, to tell us
one thing about mister Clare's that is going to maybe
surprise us all.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Oh, is it the time we have to go?

Speaker 5 (05:41):
Oh gosh?

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Does he like does he like to listen to show
tunes in the car or does he like to sing?

Speaker 2 (05:49):
When he's supposed to make Madison wake up in time
for school?

Speaker 4 (05:55):
That's true, Actually, I remember that does love singing.

Speaker 6 (06:00):
When we were Sam and I were a lot younger,
we would.

Speaker 5 (06:06):
Drive wherever whenever and we would jam. I can't remember
exactly what song it was, but there was a couple
of songs that we just loved and we were just
sing the top of our line.

Speaker 4 (06:17):
That was a good memory, and Dad would wake me
up with some nice singing as well.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
A beautiful morning from Oklahoma.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
It crazy meaning to us and we meaning to ask you, Clezy,
how excited is Sam, Sam's medicine's brother, cley Son.

Speaker 3 (06:36):

Speaker 4 (06:40):

Speaker 1 (06:44):
You're going to have a couple of protective fellas there.

Speaker 5 (06:49):

his little sister get married.

Speaker 3 (06:54):

Speaker 1 (06:57):

else you want to tell.

Speaker 4 (07:03):

Speaker 1 (07:10):

the bride, and there will be plenty more to talk
about as we as we approached that day.

Speaker 4 (07:18):
I've had a bit of a listen to some of
the things during planner.

Speaker 3 (07:22):

Speaker 2 (07:40):
