Lisa was dumbfounded by the number of people taking icy dips in ocean over the weekend and the guys discussed the ridiculous calls 000 dispatchers have received recently. Inspired by Clairsy’s security check at Optus Stadium, the guys opened the phone and text lines to ask listeners ‘What are you driving around with in your boot?’. Barra popped in to chat about the bumper weekend of sport – including Fyfe’s calf awareness, Ross Lyons mysticism and the Eagles surprisingly good game. On The Shaw Report, no one is surprised that AC/DC has added a second Perth show. Brad Pitt’s F1 took the number one box office spot with a massive opening weekend and Lisa is impressed by a 2000-piece X Files Lego set. The Angel’s John Brewster phoned in to chat about his upcoming tour and his days of playing golf with AC/DC.

Speaker 4 (00:39):
Yesterday morning, Sunday morning, eight am, right gone to the
beach for a walk. I know who even am I
down to.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
Before I said it?

Speaker 4 (00:50):
I know, I know O Cad must be old age.
I can't sleep as late as I used to, so
we've gone down to the beach for a walk. Not
on the beach, but you know the walkway along the
top and in front of the old Indiana Teahouse, Yes,
tea rooms, tea in front of Indiana. There were people swimming.

(01:17):
This is just before eight am in the morning, Sunday morning,
on Sunday morning, and it was about nine degrees with
it feels like temperature of eight. I had about sixteen
layers on and a beanie. I should have had gloves
on as well. It was absolutely freezing. And then so

(01:37):
these were these are polar bears, aren't they. They were
a little bit older, a little bit crazy, and they
were out there having a dip, but just having a
dip and then in again. Yes, But then along the
coastline people were swimming, and a considerable number of people
were swimming laps along the You know, my dad used

(01:59):
to do it. Mom and dad lived. Dad would swim
in the geograph a near where they lived. But I
don't know if he did it at eight am on
a Sunday morning when it was eight degrees.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Yeah. People are incredible, aren't they.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
People. I just couldn't believe how many people were actually
swimming these lasts.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Yeah, there are a lot of people who do the
ocean swim, so they might be training, because it's much
different swimming in the ocean, isn't it swimming in a pooling.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Train when it's a bit I think.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
They care, you know, Like and you talked to any
of the polar Bears, they talk about how incredible it is,
how refreshing it is when they get out, and then
they were all going.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
To have a copy.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
Really did look refreshingsh.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
I did it once for some wacky radio challenge and
the mate Dan filmed it and I'm going shrink edge
and a listener came down and did it with me.
I'm going, what are you doing?

Speaker 4 (02:48):
I came down to the old shrinkage drink edge, I
was swimming it came down.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
This guy came down and jumped in the water with
me and said, what are you doing? Mate? Oh it
was ridiculous. I'd never do it again. I ain't no
polar Bear people are incredible.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
I'm going to stick to terr heated pull and yes, yes, let's.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Talk sport with the Adrian Barrage.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
When you've got to get work here, you've got to
get into work blubber. Their eight trade stores are everywhere,
so when you need it you can get it or
check out work clubber dot com dot at you.

Speaker 6 (03:20):
Good morning, Barra, morning Lese learning Clearsy still on the
high from the big game last night. I'm sure you
were pumped Claresy being at the game, LEAs off the stadium.
Six straight wins for the Dockers. Was it cold? No,
it wasn't the starlight Purple Hays game, twelve point win,
avenging that embarrassing ten goal lossing eight weeks ago.

Speaker 7 (03:43):
That was the whole thing, was it? The old coach Lise.

Speaker 6 (03:45):
You should have seen Rossy lyon ross the boss walking
on the ground like you know you owned the joint.
Speaking of pav hugging five, he's a genius. He's a
genius at the mind games and the tactics Rossi and
after the game, he was quite he was quite funny.
Even though they lost, he was in quite.

Speaker 7 (04:04):
A good mood.

Speaker 6 (04:05):
And we in the media we tried to pin him
down about whether Sarong was being tagged embraceuare and had
all that work, and he's going, no, no, there's no tags.

Speaker 7 (04:13):
And then he started talking about supernatural forces.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
I'll hang on, I don't.

Speaker 7 (04:20):
Think he used this one they ever listen to.

Speaker 8 (04:23):
Maybe I don't know, maybe it's a Cicadian rhythm of
Saints versus Dockers. They just I don't know. I can't well,
I can't explain a little bit. But yeah, I think
that's a simple explanation. They go and compete pretty well.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Guess what we're trying to ask.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
It's so rare for Rum and Brayshaw to not have
big numbers when they're not being tagged.

Speaker 8 (04:43):
So well, I got no idea. I left it. They
put some jusu on him. I don't bad jusu.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Hug and Cicadian rhythms.

Speaker 6 (04:53):
What's jusus beauty, isn't he he knows about bad juju?

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Three grand five It touches to half time, which is
pretty rare.

Speaker 6 (05:03):
Yeah, he needed to put some bad jusu on Jordan Clark.

Speaker 7 (05:06):
He was on fire, turned out of ten.

Speaker 6 (05:09):
He's in All Australian form. I've been saying for weeks.
He'll be in the All Australian team. Murphy read you
love Murphy Reid least the.

Speaker 7 (05:17):
Bruce lepl headband. Yeah I do, I do. I love it.
He's brilliant.

Speaker 9 (05:24):
Yes, I just a couple of words in your mouth,
you could win, right, He's a baby's Kid Jackson, Darcy Tracy,
all the stuff.

Speaker 6 (05:36):
Yeah, he's a belter, thinking Harley and then that five
I was I was tweeting in the last quarter, going
get five on.

Speaker 7 (05:48):
He's got a clearances. You're getting killed the clearances. Get
him on. And then it turns out he couldn't come.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
On, couldn't come on.

Speaker 7 (05:54):
He was injured. He actually tried to warm up.

Speaker 6 (05:57):
It was the sub and he tried to warm up
at half time and he got calf awareness.

Speaker 7 (06:03):
How are you aware of your cars? How are they
quite aware? Yes, when you're doing the personal training aware,
there's a lot of calf awa awareness.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
It kicks in later you've had a little twins. Did
he on the stairs?

Speaker 7 (06:17):
Justin Longman said anyway.

Speaker 10 (06:19):
Came up to the box early in the in the
third quarter that he had some calf awareness. So he
tried to warm up at well halftime, he did some
run through his and then he felt some awareness in
his car. So I'm not sure whether we could have
put him on if he if we had an injury.
But see, since we didn't have an injury and we

(06:39):
didn't have any players really flagging, it was safe option
was to just leave him out of the game.

Speaker 7 (06:45):
Leave him out.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
Isn't it weird that ever happened before that? The sub
has been injured. I don't know, you think you should
have a sub sub.

Speaker 7 (06:50):
He's getting ears, he's getting a bit older.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
The sub was made aware.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Yeah apparently.

Speaker 7 (06:55):
Yeah, I had broken cheekbone awareness in my first game
for they.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
Did we win?

Speaker 7 (07:02):
I've got it? Have we haven't got time to say goodbye?

Speaker 2 (07:05):
Have you time?

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Good?

Speaker 6 (07:09):
And he's destroyed the SCG. It was eighty eight days
ago a concert you know, those wild sophisticated classical music lovers. Yeah,
they stomped all over the joint and the oval is
still wrecked. And so they're going to docors are going
to play Sydney this weekend and then yeah, eighty eight days,

(07:30):
eight days and so very dodgy. They reckon. They'll still
play there. I wouldn't play Alex Pierce on that. And
can you play Voss and Amos at the SCG. That's
the other question, big question. Yeah, come in the Eagles.

Speaker 7 (07:44):
I'll be able to mention these guys.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
Happy with the Eagles, very goose, he was.

Speaker 6 (07:47):
So pumped, gave Colin with a big scare in Melbourne.
We're all expecting the pies to come over the top.
They did eventually, but it was great scenes all fresh
faces hanging out together at the breaks, you know.

Speaker 7 (07:59):
The new kids.

Speaker 6 (08:00):
They've got seven debutantes this year. I think, I really
do think there's light at the end of the tunnel
Macarthy again.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
Yeah, they didn't get the ball.

Speaker 6 (08:11):
Light at the end of the time. We're not an
oncoming train either. It's actually it's actually looking good. So
I looked at the team that played Collingwood last year
and there was only eleven of that team that played
on Saturday, so it's been.

Speaker 7 (08:22):
A massive turn. Now.

Speaker 6 (08:24):
I wanted to tell you about the British and Irish
Lions who were in town on the weekend. Big, big
crowded up to stadium forty seven thousand almost Saturday night
and the Lions pounded the Western Force, which you know,
they're a very very famous team and a lot of
people don't understand about the British and Irish Lions why
they're so important in world sport. It's because for over

(08:45):
a century, over a century lease they've embodied the spirit
of rugby, uniting the best players from England, Ireland, Scotland
and Wales and they go around the world and take
on the world's best toughest opposition. Yeah, it's a really
big big thing. A lot of people flew in from
the UK and Britain. How does that work for the UK?

Speaker 11 (09:08):
And the.

Speaker 7 (09:11):
UK is and Britain's the whole lot, right.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
United Kingdom is the whole thing. Yeah, and our northern
suburbs of Perth.

Speaker 7 (09:18):
Exactly, Mink half a butler was there and all the
rest of it. So it was good.

Speaker 6 (09:22):
So and I noticed that up to starting getting some
good mentions in the British press. Here's one quote from
the Daily Mail, dal Express Express or something. The Lions
scored a half century in this picturesque picturesque Noah's Ark
of a stadium on the banks of the Swan River,
which will also host the first test of the Ashes
series later this year's. It is a bit arc shaped

(09:46):
and't it. They absolutely loved it. So a lot of
the and froms coming to Western Australia to watch the
rugby and the cricket as well.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
And they need to be educated because they all love
the whacker. For all those years that I've.

Speaker 6 (10:00):
Been someun burnt at the Yeah, how they never wore sunscreen?
Unbelieving three million beers a lobster. At the end of
the day, they give it continental. The Matilda's are inaction
last night as well at HbF Park. They've been living here.
We're tilly Town. We are tilly Town, we are the
Tilly's Town. They're just here for four matches. I think

(10:20):
readers just said, all the games here, let's have them.
It's worked out beautifully. That was a one all draw
last night after they won three to one earlier in
the week against Slovenia. Now the Australian Austrian, the Australian
Grand Prix, the Austrian Grand Prix. There's no kangaroos here.
Remember the Americans when they turn up in Austria and
where's he? Where's the kangaroos? The Red Bull conceded defeat.

(10:43):
Max Verstappen basically can't win the championship now. So now
it's out of Oscar and his teammate Lando. And Lando
won this race miles ahead. Isn't he fifteen points? So
it could be a charge to the end. I know
you love your f one, so you're right. It could
be a battle all the way to Abu Dubbi in December.
That could decide it able Dubbi and I'll quickly mentioned

(11:06):
the waffle well on a West perthay your teammates, the Red.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
And the Blue. Paul Santa, oh, god of the month,
mulch of this week.

Speaker 6 (11:14):
But a big win and at least East Perth ruined.
Tony Knights swan song to speak sorry not sorry three
twenty three games. He retires not sorry good after that
match because they can't make the finals.

Speaker 7 (11:28):
So he said, that's it. I've done enough from going
back to Basso.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
Thanks guys, very good, a great week, thanks mate, love
all all the.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
Best, More crazy, more podcasts soon.

Speaker 4 (11:40):
People are stupid, and they are because listen to this.
A woman calling to vent her frustrations about Donald Trump
being elected US president, a male asking for help to
change his car tire, and even a person requesting assistance
to find their lost television remote. These are just some
of the calls made to Triple O. Triple O.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
Sorry, the last one was.

Speaker 4 (12:04):
Made the emergency police number, Police Fire and emergency.

Speaker 3 (12:11):
How incredibly frustrating for.

Speaker 4 (12:13):
Them, That is absolutely ridiculous. In fact, police say, you know.
Among these moronic and time wasting TRIPLO requests of the
forty four thousand, two hundred and seventy five Triple O
calls made to police last year. One in ten was
categorized as a non emergency and redirected to a lower priority. Q.

(12:34):
Look around you, One in ten of the people around
you is an idiot judge amongst us.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
Yeah, absolutely, well, there's not ten people in our workplace,
but we could do that.

Speaker 4 (12:46):
There is a woman who dialed Triple O to inform
police that ducks were crossing a busy highway, and another
person reported his neighbor's tree was blocking his view. Now
these this is funny, but it's not funny. Yeah, because
these time wasting morons are wasting time that could be
used to save lives.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
It is very frustrating for those taking the calls. Like
you say, you have free up time if you're not
making those and they're saying that one in yea one intended.
It is really really sad that the wrong reasons have
been used. But some people just have real trouble looking
after themselves.

Speaker 4 (13:23):
I don't know how some people make it through the day,
how declaires.

Speaker 3 (13:25):
I really do not.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
We had this discussion earlier this morning about five thirty
and our producer Susie said, we get calls on our line.
Don't do it now with people saying where's my remote?
Or get lighter numbers?

Speaker 4 (13:36):
Have you got a lot numbers?

Speaker 12 (13:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (13:37):
Well, fair enough before or after the draw before.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
After that, maybe helping with can you help me with
some dating advice?

Speaker 4 (13:45):
Keep in mind if you are one of these idiots
but usually idiots, don't recognize.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
Myselves as being idiots, but idiots.

Speaker 4 (13:51):
There is no there is no benefit to calling triple
O in the hope of getting a faster service than
one three one triple four. Because you're non urgent. Nonsense
is quickly identified and re rooted to a lower priority que.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
And in some cases you cold end up with a penalty.
There is something like a twelve thousand dollar five.

Speaker 4 (14:11):
There is a twelve thousand dollar fiveating a false belief.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
If the police had time to carry that through, that's
that's a fair whack and well truly deserved, I think.

Speaker 8 (14:20):
So.

Speaker 4 (14:20):
Remember Triple O needs to be reserved for emergencies like
where someone is seriously injured, witnessing a serious accident or crime,
or when life or property is at threat. Yeah, it's
just a matter not because you've lost your emotion.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
Yeah, just stop and think about it. It's the best
way to do it.

Speaker 4 (14:37):
I don't love stopping and thinking about it is going
to help.

Speaker 3 (14:41):
Be something done on a daily basis.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
The Angels are going for Broke. You can catch them
at pre Social Friday July eleven and the rose Mounts Saturday,
July twelve. You can get tickets through the Angels dot
com dot you and John Browster's with us. Good morning John,
Are you good John? New two are new songs.

Speaker 13 (14:58):
We've got new songs. Yeah, we've got the ninety nine
album out recently. And Nick Norton's now singing with us
and he's fantastic.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
We spoke with you boy Sam not that long ago,
and he said there's a new found energy in the
band with Nick coming from behind the kitten coming up front.

Speaker 13 (15:14):
Yeah. Well, I've always known about Nick. He was actually
at school with my son Sam and and he had
a band that he had his own band at one
stage called Ganger. They were fantastic and so he was
the front man. They're the songwriter. So he's a big talent.
So we're having the time of our life these days.

(15:35):
And I say, all.

Speaker 4 (15:36):
Right, well, new songs classic and I believe you'll also
be playing some deep cuts this time around deep cuts
of course, lesser known songs on an album. I expect
the fans love that.

Speaker 13 (15:47):
Yeah, we've got so many songs. That's our problem, just
like what what do we include, but more importantly what
we leave out? And it's always disappointing to us that
you have to leave out some songs can't play forever,
you know, these sort of shows that we're doing. So
but yeah, no, it'll be a good show.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
Yeah, it'll be like a massive spring stage show if
you play almost everything, all the favorites four hours.

Speaker 13 (16:12):
Yeah, we've been around too long, you know.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
That's good.

Speaker 4 (16:16):
Longevity is going to start doing it over two nights,
you know, Part ah, yeah, Part B.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
Yeah, I'll watch this space.

Speaker 13 (16:24):
We might do that later on.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
Yeah, we'll be talking about the songs that the fans love. Mate,
there are so many of them.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
But what about you, You had a personal favorite or two
in the collection of your favorite kids so to speak
that you.

Speaker 13 (16:34):
Yeah, actually, one song I love is skid Row after Dark,
and we're going we're going to add that into the show. So, yeah,
that's one of my favorite. So in my song Marseille,
it was a great song to play, you know, usually
finishes the show before we do an encore, and yeah,
that one's like riding the perfect wave to me.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
Take me away? Do I say beautiful?

Speaker 4 (16:58):
So Over the last week or so, your mate s
A CDC have been in the news with their tour announcement.
You opened for them on the nineteen eighty one Back
in Black Tour nineteen eighty one. Do you remember anything
about that tour?

Speaker 13 (17:11):
I remember everything about it. There was a great tour.
That was the first time we met Brian Son Johnson.
We were great friends with Bon Scott and you know,
it was a great tragedy when Bond died. But Brian's
a great guy. I'll probably get a chance to catch
up with him in Adelaide. You know, we haven't seen

(17:31):
Angus four years, but we were all good friends. I
used to play golf with A and George. We used
to go together.

Speaker 4 (17:40):
How is a golf game? Do you get to play
different courses around the country when you're on tour and
do you have a favorite one here?

Speaker 13 (17:47):
Yeah, Karen is probably my.

Speaker 1 (17:52):
Can you speaking of Angus? Can you believe that man?
He's like an elite athlete at seventy isn't he to
play the way he plays ends up on a in
some stage like a crazed mosquito.

Speaker 13 (18:02):
Yeah, he's incredible. Uh he I was going to say
he liked Rick, but then Rick rich his whole life
standing still done pretty much.

Speaker 3 (18:12):
Yeah, yeah, wonderful guitarist, your brother.

Speaker 13 (18:16):
Yeah, the Angus is and if you watch, if you
watch Angus closely, every step to you that he does
is part of the actual song.

Speaker 3 (18:25):
It's like, yeah, real performance, it's all in rhythm.

Speaker 4 (18:29):
Yes, yeah, you're bringing special guests. Disgraceland sounds so nice,
does that?

Speaker 13 (18:37):
Yeah? Yeah, they're They're pretty exciting. I haven't actually, to
be honest, I haven't seen them play yet, but but
I'll be seeing that Nick this weekend. But everyone, you know,
they're gone over. You know, they've only played with us once,
but they went over very well. So that's what we
chose them to come with us on this tour.

Speaker 3 (18:58):
I love it. Hey, John, women a little bit of
long history.

Speaker 1 (19:01):
And absolutely yeah, yeah, no doubt, no doubt ever. The
is it was the last time you sat down and
wrote a song and said I'm going to write a
song today.

Speaker 3 (19:07):
Can you remember?

Speaker 13 (19:09):
Actually a while ago? Because the latest album. I mean,
I wrote some of the music for it, but I'm
sort of getting a bit lazy with the words these days,
and particularly when we've got a songwriter like Nick North.
So you know, there's a song called Escape on the
new album that I wrote all the music, but I

(19:32):
just handed it over to Nick and it's wonderful.

Speaker 4 (19:34):
But like I said, you don't have enough for him
for all the songs as it is, so maybe it
doesn't really matter.

Speaker 1 (19:39):
I just want to get this straight. I'm writing down
notes from the show It more Bland. You're watching, Oh my.

Speaker 4 (19:44):
God, it is so good, smashed out about six episodes.
Yesterday I thought I thought I might just have a
look at the first episode of Mobland. Well, next minute,
no chance of stopping. The sun has set.

Speaker 3 (19:59):
Yeah, okay, you've got a high.

Speaker 4 (20:01):
Bottle of one. And it is so good.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
That's a that's a Sunday. You know.

Speaker 4 (20:07):
It's interesting because there was some mixed reviews for it, right,
but everyone I know said it was good and I
trust them, and I thought I'll give it a go. Well,
Helen Mirren ou Mirror's ourself and Tom Hardy is Tom Hardy,
fixer London crime family and their fixer.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
Doesn't go back. Richie knows how to do this stuff.

Speaker 4 (20:29):
I really does.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
So this is Mobland. I love taking tips from you
because it was good. Paramount, Okay, very good. So after
the footing, I was really I was so much on
a high. I needed something more mellow, so I didn't
have Paramount. So I was in Honestly, at nine o'clock
last night I was watching Escape to the Country when Jean,
Jeane and Norman one of the lovely country has any

(20:50):
more a lovely country place in the Cotswolds.

Speaker 4 (20:54):
This is actually funny, you should say, But this family
lives in the cost.

Speaker 3 (20:59):
Well maybe there maybe we Javen, Barry, Norman.

Speaker 4 (21:02):
The matriarch and Patrio hell Marrin and Pierce Brosn they're
out in the costume peace prosn too.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
Yes, oh there you go. Yeah, I think I'll go
with your choice next time.

Speaker 4 (21:10):
Very different side of the it's a little bit different.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
Different to Alistairs showing your house.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
Yeah more Clezi, Oh, Lisa, More podcast soon The Sure
Report on ninety six AIRM.

Speaker 4 (21:27):
News just through this morning, they're probably not so surprising
news just through this morning ac DC is adding a
second Perth show. It'll be Monday, the eighth of December,
so now they're doing Thursday the fourth and now Monday,
the eighth. Adopteris Ticket's gone sale through ticket Tek at

the first shows last week around the country, they delivered
record breaking sales. They sold it an average of twelve

(21:49):
hundred per minute. Holy Dooly Yeah, Brad Pitt's f one
movie won the weekend movie Race. It made around two
hundred and twenty million dollars at the global box office
in the first weekend of release. Durors in the Sean
Diddy Koombs trial are set to start deliberations later today
our time. The trial lasted seven weeks. The prosecution and

(22:10):
defense gave their closing arguments last Thursday and Friday. And
if he has found guilty on any of the sex
trafficking and racketeering charges, he's facing between fifteen years in
life in prison. Something for lovers of Lego and The
X Files today, I imagine you've worked it out. This
file's Lego. The Lego set called The Truth Is Out
There has just won the top prize in Lego's Build

(22:33):
a Nostalgia Nineties throwback competition. The X Files setup was
up against designs for Jumanji, which came second, Buffy the
Vampire Slab which came third, and Edward Scissorhans in fourth spot.
So with your two thousand piece X Files lego set,
you'll end up with two levels, a bottom level recreation
of the iconic X Files office and a top layer

(22:55):
complete with the UFO and gray Alien figures include Moulder
and Scully of his assistant director Walter Skinner, Jersey Devil,
and Eugene Tombs.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
Very good merchandise Central. Find Scully's head in your handbag.
It's on stage soon as you know. I've worked a
bit for the Dockers, doing some MC work in a
room and I've got to park underneath the stadium. So
at that point in proceedings, when you're parking under the stadium,
you have to go through the security drill, which is
fair enough to and good morning with the security stuff

(23:24):
at Optors. They do a great job, yes, which I'll
be very busy later in the year with Akadaka crowd
coming in for a big night. But I got to say,
the security guy outside of the stadium stops you at
a gate that goes down like check point Charlie, and
he says, he said to me, can you please open
your boot? I said absolutely, so I said it's easy
for you to do. I just clicked the button. He

(23:45):
opens a boot and normally they checked the boat very
quickly and say on your way, thank you very much
if you go. Yesterday, the guy said to me, what's
in the bottle? And I'm sitting in the car still,
So I get out of the car and go and
look at the bottle and I said, either whit bottle,
that's my content lens contact lens fluid.

Speaker 3 (24:00):
Yes, it's saleene, yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
Exactly, and he goes, not the white bottle, the clear bottle.
So I grabbed in my wet pack the clear bottle
out and I said that my friend is c. K One,
that's Calvin kleinb Would you like something? Would you like some?
And I thought it was really interesting that that was
the bottle of zarft. I think you thinking it's some
kind of fluid or something, or break fluid or you
know what I mean. I thought it was an interesting
thing to ask me about.

Speaker 4 (24:23):
I've never seen a bottle of colover.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
However, he was very thorough, So you can't knock him
for that, but I just thought it was a weird one.
And then I thought, actually, what are we taking to
the phones and find out what people have got in
their boot?

Speaker 3 (24:33):
I've got the c K in the boot. What have
you got in the boot? Is it something unusual?

Speaker 4 (24:36):
You know? My boot is very very small, it is.
There's definitely no golf clubs in there is a there's
my dog's bed, yeah, for when we go on road
trips together. Yes, and she sits on the seat next
to me. Well, actually trust climb over on to me.
But she's supposed to sit on the seat next to
me in a bed. And that's maybe about it.

Speaker 3 (24:58):
There's no body going there.

Speaker 4 (25:00):
The obligatory sort of like tool things you have that
that come.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
With Yeah, of course you have your jacke and stuff, yes,
I guess cable ties.

Speaker 3 (25:11):
Not much room for anything else in your boat, No,
not in my bo.

Speaker 4 (25:14):
My boot is a bit of a non event.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
Yeah, we would love to hear if you've got something
really quite odd in your boot as well.

Speaker 4 (25:21):
Anything else in your boot that he thought was a
bit weird.

Speaker 3 (25:24):
That was it.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
It was to travel with I have a bit of
tu yeah, but it's just like this summer year. It's
four jackets and a couple of jumpers. There's not much
much really exciting in it. It was about it, but
I just thought it was funny that he went the
clear one. But he didn't want any of my case.
And maybe it was going to clash with whatever a
colony was wearing at the time.

Speaker 4 (25:41):
Well maybe he didn't wear colone.

Speaker 3 (25:43):
Quite possibly possibly.

Speaker 4 (25:44):
Paul inba good morning.

Speaker 3 (25:46):
I bought good morning.

Speaker 4 (25:47):
What's in your boat?

Speaker 12 (25:48):
It wasn't my boot, it was I was in there.
I used to work for a well known roadside assistance
club company. Okay, I got called out to a lady
with a flats and as we were looking at the
spare tire, I lifted the boot carpets and on top
of the wheel the spare wheel was a shall we say,

(26:08):
an intimate ladies pleasure instruments. And I looked at it
in the off and as I looked after and the instruments,
she looked at me, going, oh, I would.

Speaker 5 (26:24):
Put that you really can't you can't deny that the
stage can you?

Speaker 4 (26:36):
Did?

Speaker 3 (26:36):
You?

Speaker 13 (26:38):
Did?

Speaker 12 (26:39):
You?

Speaker 3 (26:41):
You're good than you could imagine that?

Speaker 1 (26:49):
Yeah, so much, so much variety.

Speaker 4 (26:53):
You think a lot of people don't necessarily cleaned out
their boot very often.

Speaker 1 (26:56):
No, and sometimes you go especially off at the end
of the winter. Like I said, jackets, jumpers and all
kinds of rubbish. Got the scarf in there, which there
this summer, and it's like, oh, better clean this bloody thing.

Speaker 4 (27:06):
Marissa and Aroanda, Good morning.

Speaker 14 (27:08):
Good morning, Lisa and Clasa. How are you today?

Speaker 4 (27:10):
Good? What's in your boot? Marissa?

Speaker 14 (27:12):
People think I'm weird because I will volunteer to help
animals out, and I've got a cage that if I
if I see a bird that count, I save them
and I'll give them my friend. They save their wins,
so they help them to fly a game. And I
volunteer to speed stray cat. So my boots full of.

Speaker 3 (27:31):
Weird.

Speaker 4 (27:31):
I don't think you're weird at all. I think that's awesome.

Speaker 14 (27:35):
People tell me off to wife, but it's weird.

Speaker 3 (27:39):
Just ignore that weird part of it. Massa. You're doing
good work and you're prepared. You've got the cage ready
to go. It's better in a cardboard box. I'll get out.

Speaker 14 (27:46):
Thanks guys for that. I appreciate that.

Speaker 13 (27:48):
Thank you, Yeah, good on you.

Speaker 4 (27:51):
Thanks Marissa. David Midland what's in your boots?

Speaker 11 (27:54):
It's not my boot. Thirty years ago, it used to be.
A copper pulled the car over at the back of
less Murdy and while we're talking to the driver earlier
in the morning to bang him from the boot. What
we get him to open it and it was his
It was his naked younger brother in the boot.

Speaker 3 (28:09):
Naked.

Speaker 4 (28:10):
What is the backstory there?

Speaker 3 (28:13):
Yea more.

Speaker 11 (28:14):
It turns out they've been at a party. His younger
brother had been acting like a trained seal and everyone
wanted him to go. He wouldn't get in the car,
so they all bundled him into the boot and sold
the brother take him.

Speaker 3 (28:23):
Mind trained seal.

Speaker 4 (28:28):
So dig yeah, did you say, well okay, yeah, well.

Speaker 11 (28:32):
No we had Obviously when he's cut out the boot,
he wasn't happy, and then he's noticed the two coppers,
so he's waned his neck in a little bit. We
had a word too. He put his clothes on, sat
in the car, and his brother took him home in
the front of the car.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
Did we get an explanation why he was naked? Was
he just like streaking at the party or it.

Speaker 11 (28:49):
Was just because he had been performing like the front seal?
At his party and just being an idiot and everyone
got upset with him.

Speaker 1 (28:54):
Yeah, gotcha. I really thought you had to say it
with someone who'd been at the driving. Oh my god,
it's even better.

Speaker 4 (29:02):
That's hilarious thanks to a great way.

Speaker 1 (29:05):
The cat was making noises at five to three this morning.
Just what you want. She knows every trick in the book.

Speaker 4 (29:10):
That cat, My cat was snoring.

Speaker 3 (29:12):
Yeah, I'd rather have snoring next to me than the
cat going. You guys got to wake up. I'm ready
to play.

Speaker 1 (29:16):
Yeah, every trick in the book and noisy blind company
and chirping like a bird, all that kind of stuff.

Speaker 3 (29:25):
After watching bird TV all afternoon yesterday. There's a couple
of TV.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
I call it bird TV because the bird's out the
front and she just sits here and watches him like spellbound,
dreaming of biting heads off. But she can't get to them,
which is the good. You can look after her bird

Speaker 2 (29:39):
Like crazy and Lisa
