Speaker 4 (00:13):
Good morning, and what a season for the Fever.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Oh mate, how good is that?

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Let's start with WA's best team at the moment, our
favorite team, I reckon the West Coast Fever Minor Premiers.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
They are in super Netball.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Is still one game to go and there's still the
Minor Premiers already, which means I'll finish on top, smiling
on top of the table super Netball record of eleven
straight wins labor history. In front of a regular season
record crowd twelve thousand yesterday at rac Arena.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
The Green Army out in force. So good.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
It means the Major semi final will be at rac
Arena on Sunday week. So they're just about there thump
the giant seventeen points. Actually, here's our favorite commentator, Sue Gordion.
Here's how she called it. At the end, we are
throwing to the.

Speaker 5 (01:01):
West Coast Fever and they are about to break two
impressive records. Record number one is eleventh consecutive wins. No
one's ever done that in Suncot Supernetbo and.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
Record number two. They are minor.

Speaker 5 (01:14):
Premiers for the first time in the club's history, and
the spies on the faces at the dunching staff, the
Green Army and the players are like the West Coast Fever,
who will host the first semi final here in pooth.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
Go the Fever.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Oh I had good. I tell you what.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
You know, what's amazing about that smiley is that if
that was men's sport and we'd won eleven straight and
we're minor premiers like we did in ninety ninety one
at West Coast Mate, we would have gone absolutely coco
but a very true and the girls were so composed
there was no you know, they were just say oh yeah,
we'll just move on to their mate.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Us.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
We would have gone bananas. Anyway, Well done, West Coast Fever.
You want to talk about at footing. Wasn't a great weekend? Yeah,
local teams. Dock has made it hard for himselves losing Sydney.
They've really got to beat Hawthorne Saturday night here under.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Steady the Ship.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
It's all on the line.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Yeah, it's amazing.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
They've got ten wins, but they're Nights, so that's pretty
unusual to have ten wins and be out of the eight.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
They're not careful.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
They could be the first team to have fourteen wins
and not make the finals, if you know what I mean.
So they started slowly. Caleb got tagged out of it
by James Jordan. He only had eleven touches, which is
his lowest since his deboot season in twenty twenty eleven touches.
They pushed him forward and he did kick a goal,
so that was a good idea. It was a cooler,
as they call it, put on Jordan Clark as well.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
They probably knew all that was going to happen, but
they couldn't do anything about it. Do you love that
Murphy Reid.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
A watching?

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Did you see him get absolutely mixed if you know
what I mean. Ye, he got ran through. I thought
his ribs were going to come out the other side
of his body and he just was down a umbrella
and then he got up and kept playing. He gave it,
ey mate, What a kid he is. So they got
a good one there. Yeah, so big game for them

(03:03):
this weekend.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
But Hagen massive games coming up.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Yeah, Hayden Young just around the corner. So what day
do we speak to him? Thursday? He might be able
to tell us that he's in I reckon he's almost
ready to play the Great Mouse Eagles.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
So we talk about.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
Going out of the office. You go now. I was
watching it on the tellic.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
It's nice and cold there. I believe a lot of
people left it three quarters time.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
I might have been on that training barrow.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
What are you doing, oh mate, I've got to get
home big day tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
After last week's fight against the Pies. I was really
hoping for more there.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Yeah, that's a good point.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
They've showed so much, but that's what you get with
young teams that are up and down.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Reuben Jimmy one of your favorite.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
Players, so he continues to shine.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
I saw that Danny ol laid that gave him ten
out of ten.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
Week in week out. He gives one hundred and ten percent.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Yeah, he's an absolute belder. So yeah, Harley did his best.
What about Carlton again? But pumped by Collingwood right at
the MCG which was not unexpected. But the Blues fans
when they were coming off the abuse that they cop
from the fans. It's incredible from their own fans. And
then some of them are quite upwardly mobile, if you
know what I mean. Like so they speak okay and

(04:11):
they're sort of you know, they've got teeth and all
that sort of stuff, like the Collingwood fans. And but
when they get on the radio, they can't listen to
this fella.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
Suck them all. Suck them all. The coach, the assistants,
they're not good enough. They weren't good enough last year.
The players don't care. You've got Charlie who five in
his opponents at three quick a time.

Speaker 5 (04:35):
What's that about?

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Could he get her any less?

Speaker 4 (04:38):
Our foot?

Speaker 1 (04:39):
The IQ is deplorable.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
What are they training? Seriously, tell me Terry, what has
happened a club?

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Well?

Speaker 4 (04:49):
He gets points for being passionate, mate.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Settle down, buddy, We'll see what happens. I haven't won
a flag since ninety five, you know, so it's been
a long time. But I oh, you love wimbled and
so I'll start there. I know you love the tennis.
And it's a big game tonight. Demon Or versus Djokovic.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Pasting strawberries and cream. It's going to be a crag.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Last year they couldn't get it done because demon Or
was not feeling well.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
So now's his chance.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
Eleven v six Jordan Thompson Overnight had to retire her
to Taylor Fritz, so that that os He's out, so
demon well he's our last man. Leyton Hewitt's son Cruz
is killing it in the juniors.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
Talk about following a dad's footsteps.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
Oh may, he's a clone. He even gives it.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Come on the old fist pump and the what's that,
the half cobra whatever they call it, that signal and
in the women it looks like Saberlenka are going to
She's going to be. It's a round of sixteen at
the moment. British Grand Prix Overnight, Lando Norris Wan, Oscar
Piastri the our boy.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
He was second, He's the royal deal. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Nico Hulkenberg third, he hasn't been up there for donkeys years.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
He was loving it. The trophies are.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Made out of lego. Really as good as lego. Yeah,
it's a sod. Check it out on YouTube. You'll be
blowing away. Oscar a bit unlucky. You copped a ten
second penalty for basically breaking behind the safety car. So
he was leading at the time and then he got
overtaken by Norris and then he said to his team,
because they're both from mclarenet on the radio, said listen,

(06:16):
you know, if you think that's an unfair penalty, maybe
Lando should give me back the lead. And Lando said, no,
I'm not doing that. So it's only down to eight
points between him now for the title.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
So huge.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
In the cricket, Australia won the second Test in Granada
versus the West Indies.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
Fourteen wins in a row.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Yeah, yeah, that's right. So that means we've retained the
Frank Warrel Trophy too. So we've defeated the Windys by
one thirty three runs. They just couldn't handle our pace attacks.
Stark in that I don't know what we're going to
do when they all retire those books, but at this
stage we go on gangbusters. More than ten thousand people
went to Bunbury's hands Over on Saturday to watch the Maturitas,
a seedy Panama Yeah powerhouse, and they beat us. This

(07:01):
is a bit of a shock. So I don't know
if it's the wind or what. When the Eagles went there,
but there's a rematch at HbF Park tomorrow night.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
I'm tipping the tillis de bounced backstrip.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
Aslutely right, that's what exactly going to happen.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
And I wanted to quickly mention the waffle couple of
upsets my team Perth or burlou where Buroloo for Naydoc week,
we've changed our name. We had probably the best win
since I've been president.

Speaker 4 (07:27):
You must ever spring in your step this morning.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Bear yes, thank you, my friend. Considering our injuries and everything.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
We beat East from Antle and the Eagles beat Subiake,
so South from out on the team to beat. They
knocked off Clermont and let's finish on a wonderful night. Well,
it's a bit of sweet. Liverpool's made this incredible gesture
to the family of Diego Jota. I'm told they will
pay the remainder of his contract to his family, so

(07:54):
up until June twenty twenty seven. So that's three hundred
thousand ossie a week up until June twenty twenty seven.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
So beautiful. What a moment of pure class from Liverpool.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
Yeah, classy, classy by the Red
