Speaker 1 (00:00):
Mastersho of Australia. Back to Win, not just back back
to win. That's what this season is called. Is back
tonight at seven point thirty on ten. It's my favorite
show to watch, but not on an empty stomach. No,
this causes me.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
It's a problem, isn't it.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Because it goes for a couple of months. You can't
be watching every night at an empty stomach. Andy Allen
is with us.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Hello, Anie, welcome back.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Get a crew. Yeah, you definitely need to have your
dinner wrapped up by So it's a tough watch when
you're not hungry.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Especially when you do desserts. That's the that's the really
tough one.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
That's the killer.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
It's like going shopping, you know, on an empty stomach.
You've got you. I always say eat before you go shopping,
or you'll come home with a you know, trolley.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
For the junk.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
So it's back.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
We're back. We're back for this season seventeen. Can you
believe it?

Speaker 1 (00:47):
I believe it?

Speaker 3 (00:48):
Readible man, Yeah, Yeah, it's a it's a pretty crazy
seat to think. I suppose that. The great thing about
this season season back to Win. We've actually got contestants
from season one right through to season sixteen year, Yeah,
which is really special. I think it just goes to
show how much the competition means to so many people,

(01:11):
so many ex contestants, Like we've got three that have
actually been on there. This is their third time to
try and win, so.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Sort of they're never giving up sort of series definitely.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
And then we kick it off of the bang with
Gordon Ramsey in the kitchen you get go. So it's
a bit of a baptism by fire.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
That's great.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
It's just a victim of one of those weird swatting
situations in La on the way, Candy's house got raided
by the police because there was supposedly gunshots there. But anyway,
that's another story for another time. Tell me which contestants
are we going to see returns some of the faves?

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Who's some of the faves? So the Big Three which
we're calling them, is obviously Laura Callum and Sarah Todd
So they've actually, like I said, they've been on twice before,
so this is the third time around the block trying
to lift that trophy. I think you know those three
of like you know, they're kind of post to people
for Master Chef because they've gone out into the industry
and done so much over the time that like, you know,

(02:09):
this is the one thing that they really want and
they haven't got their hands on yet. So that's really cool.
And then, like I said before, we've got like a
contestant from season one, Andre, which, believe it or not,
Poe and Andre are on the same season way back,
you know, seventeen years ago, and he's the same. He's
in the industry, he's got like four or five restaurants,

(02:30):
and you know, for him to say, yeah, I'm going
to drop everything, he's got young family at home, I'm
going to come back and try and lift the trophy.
It I think it speaks volumes for how much people
want to be the champ.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Absolutely, mate. What is it like when Gordon Ramsey walks
into the room. When he strolls in, is it crazy?

Speaker 3 (02:50):
Hectic? It's hectic. He's just got a presence, like you know,
he's not a short guy by by any by any means,
and then he just he just really does command everyone's
attention and respect. And I feel like it makes for
such a good first episode because when Gordon's in his
element is like when he's running a Service Challenge, and

(03:10):
that's exactly what we throw the contestants in two from
from the get go. So it's like three different teams.
You know. The captains of the team are the you know,
the Big Three as I called him, Laura Callum and
Sarah and Gordon just absolutely goes for it. So it's
a it's an interesting one.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
I hear you put the spice rumor to bed recently.
What's the spice room because you know, for the years
we've always sort of believed that you can't handle certain spices.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Oh okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, so I'll put it
in bed. So I like spice. Yeah, it just it
makes me show my emotions. So that is sweat. It
can sometimes be tears, It can be sometimes sometimes it
feels like my teeth and them like it all happens

(04:04):
when it doesn't mean I'm not enjoying it. I just
showed my emotions.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
So maybe, mate, it's sounding a bit like product placement here,
but maybe you could wash it down with one of
your beers. You came up with Travis Fimble from Boys Follows.
You know, yeah, yeah, it is good.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
It's another thing that I'm super proud of and I
mean it's it's pretty epic having having your own beer.
I think I've be hopefully cracking a traveler watching watching
the show tonight over there. But it has been an
epic process making. I still I still remember like because
it was a bit of a backyard job. We we

(04:42):
we met up with a brew and I was like,
we've got this idea for like a clean crisp lager.
And yeah, mate, I was like, I feel like we
should put this in it and that in it. And
we we just did these little pilot brewers, like a
twenty letter pilot brow and some of the stuff that
came out was not very exciting at all. So it
took about three or four revisions, but we got it right.
And now yeah, we're loving it and people are to it.

(05:04):
It's been been a great process.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Could you have found a bigger spunk to replace to
release a bit? But I mean that he just comes
across as such a easy going, laid back dude.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
Am I Ranch, you have hit the nail on the head.
Like Travis Travor lived in la in Hollywood for a
long time. He is just a country boy at heart,
Like that's what he loves. He just loves being on
the farm, he loves being back home. And when he
rang me and said, mate, I just want to create
a beer that celebrates country living, in country lifestyle, country values,

(05:37):
I was like, man, that's that's you know, I grew
up grew up in the country as well. Like this
aligns with me so much. And it's pretty easy to
kind of promote something when you when you've lived it
and still live it. So yeah, it's gone. Well, Traveler.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Turns there you go seven point thirty on ten. Always
a pleasure and he looked forward to this season. Sure
we'll chat to you again.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
Thanks so much. Chat
