Elliot Yeo joined Clairy & Lisa to recap the Derby and shared his thoughts on Harley Reid’s season-ending ankle injury, eerily similar to his own. With Harley now on ice, Lisa asked who’ll replace him as the team heads east to face Melbourne this weekend. Elliot said the Demons will be firing on cylinders after a shocking loss last weekend and said the Eagles better be prepared for a tough game.

Yeah, that second quarter was it was interesting because it
felt like Frio all of a sudden, I had this
dominance but kicking one six to three goals. So they're
outscored by the Eagles in the second team.

Yeah, and we were at one point there. We were
quite efficient as well, so that kept us in the game.
But the story of it felt like we never really
hate control. Always felt like Frio were just miles and
miles ahead of you know, what the game expected from
us as well, which was frustrating.

Now, people have been talking a lot about how your
Harley Read's mentor, but I don't think they meant for
him to get the same thing in his ankle. So
what's what's happened is he's been ruled out for the
rest of the season. It is, isn't it? Which is
what you got? So you know exactly what he's going.

Yeah, and especially young kids who second year player had
a fair bit of load on his shoulder.

So at the same point, you're not going to rush
him back and be like, hey mate, we need you
for one, one or two games and then patch you
up and then bust.

on ice.
