Wasn't something I was sort of planning or thinking about
going into the game, But sometimes those things happen when
you are Yeah, you don't think too much about it.

You just go out there and play footing and have fun.

And yeah, it all happened, and I was just glad
that I was able to contribute and get a good win.

Yeah, absolutely, and the team that's kicked eighteen points on
the day. Mate, kicking those three goals so got you
over the line and that was I was a bit
of ratic for a while, but not yourself.

Yeah, I know, I sort of ripping into the boys
a little bit. I just said, it's just kick it straight.
But yeah, it was a little bit frustrating at times
because we yeah, we had forty odd shots on goal
and created a lot of opportunities and yeah, I mean
there's a lot of positives to take out of it,
but yeah, some sometimes it becomes contagious when you're kicking
points and then everything sort of start kicking more points

and it's so Yeah, it was frustrating, but we knew
that the game was looking the way we wanted to.
So yeah, we're certainly not stressed about that. But hopefully
this week we can kick a bit straighter.

Yep, you've got some fans minwou Lee. Yeah. Now you
a golfer. Have you played golf?

Yeah? I play a little bit of golf.

I'm remember at roll Freo, which is where Min Wu's
that's his home course. So yeah, he's actually a massive
Freer fan, so it's quite funny. He quite often will
be pretty happy to see us, or he gets around
us a fair bit and we're like, mate, you're.

You don't realize how famous you are, but it's pretty good.
He's always down at Royal Freo and he says to

I got a leaky roof of my house it was
raining so much and that was the day you were
meant to be playing. Did you end up getting out

I didn't. I wanted to were We all had plans.

I think we had twelve bucks all ready to go
and then it was so wet that yeah, I think
the course they canceled the golf on the day because
it was just too wet.

So I was disappointed, But hopefully this week.

We didn't get time to talk about this last week,
but the people behind the smash hit Formula one series
Drive to Survive are currently making a series about the
AFL and the Docors are one of the five teams
in the league that are being you know, followed about
are we going to see some bit of you on screen,
maybe featuring you. Don't know, they've been with you.
Speaker 4 (02:58):
Yeah, they've been around the club on a few days.
Speaker 5 (03:01):
They're sort of in the background so you don't really
notice it, which is good. But I think they're sort
of following five his journey and he'll sort of speak
about his journey through the club's lens, so he's sort
of like the main protagonist. And then they're grabbing people
off to the side to do interviews here and there.
So I'll probably you know, have to do a little
interview and speak about probably a little bit about five Feet,

but also about the club and this year. So yeah,
it's a little bit. It's exciting, but it's obviously in
the background.

It's not really well that's the key to the show,
I guess, to make it as flying the Wallers.

there's just an extra came here.

So hopefully, hopefully we have a good year and it
has a great product at the end of the year.

the edit. Mate, you talk about the dangerous forward line
with Tracy Amos and Voss get mentioned a lot the
big boys, but when Michael Frederick was Swakowski last week
brilliant and Murphy Reid at firing, it's becoming more and
more dangerous leading up the finals.

I think everyone's sort of complementing each other really well.
And I think the exciting thing about our full line
is we've got multiple threats and in any game, someone
could stand up and have a big moment. So now
chemistry down there is going really well and if we
can keep providing them with opportunities as a midfield group,
they'll be very happy.

play the game in their front half. They've been moving
the ball a lot quicker lately, which is probably a
little change from what we've seen in the past. So yeah,
clearance is going to be important and also our team

So it's a good test for us because the team
day has been a strength and clearance is something we
probably haven't done as well in the past and it's

something that we really are working on hard. So they're
going to challenge us in that area and hopefully our
team Deacons can stand.

a couple of k you know, history of being a
