with us now. Good morning, Well, good mister Bloody Wilson.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Mate, how a polite?

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Is that?

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Delightful?

Speaker 3 (00:26):
I haven't been called that this last time I was
in court.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Your honor.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
So it's been three years since we saw you. Tell
us about the new tour.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
Well, it takes three years to do a circuit these days,
with the way we get around, we do about one
hundred and twenty concerts a year, right, and I'm finally
back on home turf in February. As they all would
say in the.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Enjoy I'm so excited popping up for me.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
It's well, how cool is that I can go and
do a show and then drive home and sleep in
my own bed.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Yeah, that's been over forty years of touring and performing.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Yes, I mean, is it.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
You're looking at?

Speaker 1 (01:07):
Is it no, no, I was thinking, can you believe it?
It's gone by and you remember every bit of it.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
And I'm grateful for every minute as well, because I
never expected it. I thought what I was doing was fine.
I was just writing songs for and about my mates
and Caldilly, Mike the Master, Fart and people and and
so my mate said you you should record some of
that stuff and if you do, we'll buy it. This
is back in car Sette days. Yes, so yeah, So

(01:39):
I went ahead and I did. I recorded, and they
kept their promise as well.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
They they brought it by and everyone else. Now your daughter,
the lovely Jenny Talia is supporting you, I.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Believe on the tour she is.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Jenny from Australia. It's that was a bit out a lot.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Doesn't make it.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
It was funny because it was both your filthy minds
who went there got a nice ring. Yet I've got
to say, do you look out into the crowd and
see familiar faces and then these younger generations laughing at
what you're doing? Very much?

Speaker 3 (02:20):
So yeah, for something that I thought was strictly for
the Blakes, I was surprised when they started bringing their
wives along. And now the kids, the kids, grandkids. You
get three generations of the same family. You get a
lot of these days as well. Is the bride's no doubt?

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Ah, oh yes, a lot.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
And they sing along as videos foot club. Yeah, there
are for a bit of cheeky, aren't they They are
and I not.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
That's what it's all about.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
So you're visiting a lot of country towns, including Calgoley.
Of course it must have a special place playing in
Calgooley because a lot of the songs are about them.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
About Yeah, certainly initially and even nowadays. If I'm writing
a song, I think that reminds me of such and such,
Bob the Butcher or whatever. Yeah. Yeah, there's always that
Calgarly reference. And there's always a Calgarly connection every show
I've done, ever, Yeah, somebody so my uncle from Calgarilly,

(03:24):
or my my dad was there during the Second World War.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
You know, my grandfather grew up in Calgary. So there
we go.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
That's today. What was the maiden name smith, James? Yeah,
there was a few of them. That's funny because my grandmother,
she's mister Wilson.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
It's funny because my uncle went to a knock shop
there once. That's interesting.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
Usually now I, because you're sitting there with a guitar
in your lap, that you're going to play a song
for us.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
I can do that. I love you too, I can
do that. Do what about? I'm a sort of blood
that would like to think that if I could go
back in time Ben Joe and Henry and even then Killy,
it would be good naighte of mine because they're piss pots,
poets and outlaws, and I can relate to that, and

(04:26):
I can relate to their attitude too. In a word,
dilly gaff and that means d I l l I
f d I F DEALI gaf. Do you want to
sing it with you?

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Do I like I give a fuck? Deli gaff.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
Am? I being direct enough?

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Deally gaf.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Just another way of sign I couldn't give a fucking
rats ass mate? Do I look like I give a fuck?

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Deally gap your turn? I didn't like?

Speaker 1 (05:00):
I give him?

Speaker 3 (05:04):
What a team?

Speaker 2 (05:07):
It's ninety f M choirt. I got to say, Lisa,
you mind the funk word.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
It never loses its appointman. Just beautiful piece of work.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Thank you again. When you talk about the people that
come to my shows, the amount of people now that
have got a tattoo somewhere on the Yah's really ship lads.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
That's cool. But I do need to thank you. I've
had to for a long time. Forgive me if I've
got this wrong, but I'm pretty sure you go be
the gift that keeps on giving. That was a penis
and larger many years.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Ago, keeps on giving as herpes.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
It was a Kevin Bloody Wilson magnifying glass. So thanks, Yes,
my drawer, Yes you go one another one. Yeah, very.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
C clazy's used it the wrong way. It used it
in the direct Sunlin.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
Put the hell out of it.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
I know he's gotta he's gotta blame.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
Learn to blow pick aloud, to take a piss. Attending
made it's smaller.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
Kevin Bloody Wilson is going to be at Crown Theater
