Speaker 1 (00:00):
Australian idol is on. It continues tonight on seven at
seven thirty. And of course Marcia Hines, the judge with
the what rhymes with judge that means most sludge? Well
she's the host with the most anyway, Marsia, good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
He at least I would have said fudge. Oh god,
you know, that's the only word I can think of.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
How you guys doing, We're down to the top thirty.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
How do you feel about the talent of this group
this year?

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Well? I got to say, you know, like I've been
doing this show for years and the vibe in the
general public's amazing, and it's great talent. It's just great
talent and there's something for everybody, which is the best
thing for a show like this.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
You know, Hey, Marsha, I was watching the other night
and I thought, this is You're the absolute best person
to have it here. I'm looking at couple of these
w A kids who were sixteen and that was your age.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Man.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
You got into JC Superstar, wasn't it. So you're a
perfect person to have to guide them along.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Yeah yeah, I was sixteen. Wow. So you know, like,
and if you apply yourself, ages got nothing to do
with it, you know. And if that's what you want
to do and it makes sense to you in your
life and you've got people who support you, it's all good,
you know.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Yeah, Singers closely brought it up just a little aside.
I did see the new production of Jesus Christ Superstar
the other night. I'm mad because I've been telling everyone
all week that you were my first.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
You you you were my first.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
That's how long I've been going to see that show. Wow.
But it's very good, by the way, very good production.
Back to the top thirty. We've got four four wa
fik very young.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Very very talented, very talented and very driven and you know,
like Gisella. I found Gisella in Perth. I was doing
a gig myself, and I actually went and asked if
she wanted to audition. She not only did she audition,
she came and sang on you know at the theater
that I was working at, which was amazing. And then

(02:03):
she had to do something, so I kind of left
the stage and then something in the audience screamed out
saying something else. She stood there and sang a cappella,
which is not an easy It's not easy Okay, so
the girl's talented. You know, the kids are just great,
you know, and you know, when you're young, your bulletproof. Man,
what you're scared of? You shouldn't be scared of anything, right,
And so they're gain their game, which is beautiful.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Fear that it's a great challenge. Will we say three
people go home again?

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Oh? Absolutely, you will have a lot to deal with
it one. And this is what's interesting. It's a lot
to deal with at once. But you know, it's fascinating
in the sense that it's an ensemble thing. You know,
like being a musician, you usually work with other people
and you have to learn to work with other people.
And this is when you're going to see, you know,
the stitches come undone in this scenario.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
Yeah, how's Carle going a bit light? Ladies going to run?

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Yeah, thanks for asking. Man, he's doing okay. We're going
to try and take you know, one day at a
time and hopefully this might make him a bit more
a bit more health conscious.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Yeah, yeah, well he went road last night.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
He is road.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Yes, what do you mean he went.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Like that?

Speaker 4 (03:08):
He likes that Bundy guy, doesn't he Yeah?

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Yeah, yeah, yeah he did. And but you know what
he said. Lisa was absolutely right though, because I listened
to the singers like I Show, Chris Brown, quite a
few other singers they're using auto tune. If they use it, okay,
but it can't be everything for them, but they can
use it as an instrument or something to, you know,
make their voice sound a different. I don't have a

(03:31):
problem with that at all. But as long as they
can sing without it, I'm cool.

Speaker 4 (03:35):
Yeah, okay, okay, with the tick.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Well, fair enough, well. It is the second challenge of
Top thirty Week. Tonight Group Challenge, The pressure mounts are
three contestants are sent home and the remaining hopefuls advanced
to the final round of Top thirty Week, the Solo Challenge.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Lovely to check in with you, Marshall, thank.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
You, thank you so much. Clazie and you guys take
care And I know it's early.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
Over there, so it's always good to catch up.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Queen alright man by Hearts
