Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hello. I'm Jamilla Risby and I am so excited to
introduce you to Find and Tell, this brand new podcast
where we are searching for diverse Australian storytellers. I'm an
Indian Australian kid, and I grew up watching and hearing
stories mostly told by people who didn't look like me
and whose experiences weren't like mine. Australia is such an

(00:25):
incredible multicultural country and whether it's our first people's to
our most recent arrivals, there are so many great stories
to tell out there, and that's what Find and Tell
is all about. Because at its core, here's the tournament.
It's a tournament of storytelling. Here's how it's going to work.
We are going to conduct an Australia wide search for

(00:48):
four contestants, one of them could be you, and each
of those contestants will be given a chance to share
a unique or interesting story from their life, from their world,
from their brain. I suppose. I mean they could do
something silly, they could do something wild, clever, newsy, intriguing, funny,
whatever your heart desires. Anyway, if you're one of them,

(01:10):
you'll be flown to our studios in Sydney. You will
get training and mentoring from industry leaders, and you'll be
introduced to your very own show producer. Then we'll gear
you up and we'll give you some cash to splash
as you search for stories to tell. So if you
or someone you know would like to get involved, follow
the link in the show notes or head to Find

(01:30):
and Tell dot com dot au. We cannot wait to
hear from you.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
