Speaker 1 (00:00):
Mixed one a two point three halea Max in the
morning that we couldn't get the job done, couldn't give
that one thousand dollars away ten minutes ago to Emma.
But after nine o'clock and all day while you work,
another chance for you to win one thousand dollars every
single hour with Haley and Max's money minute.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
That's on the way. South Australia's got a brand new
tourism campaign out and about. It is essentially called the
Simple Pleasures tourism campaign.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
From the sa TC. Love those yeah, I know.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
There's a new ten million dollar campaign and they brought
it out around gather rounds so that we can have
it all of our billboards, it's in our papers, it's
on our TVs while all of these interstate visitors come
over and they flock here and it's a whole bunch
of different things, but central to it it is a
couple of paintings done by local artists and they are
you know. One is looks like a patchwork quilt like

(00:49):
the night sky above it.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
It looks maybe Flinder's rangersy. It looks beautiful. It's beautiful.
It's a distinct art style there's another one.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
That's another city of Arts.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
Yeah, there's another one.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
It's like a footy game and it's just sort of
painted of the boots and the sheer and hitting the
ground and again it's like patchworky ground and like it
looks a little bit childish, but done by someone who's
good at art.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
Yeah, that's what art is.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
It's nice. It's nice.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
I was looking at it and going because we are
we have got so many people from all of Australia
coming to Adelaide and I want them to leave our
state going, oh my god, how good is Adelaide.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Yeah, so we thought is nice enough?

Speaker 4 (01:26):
Yeah, it's nice, But then I was like, what about
you know those like uniquely South Australian things that we
have that only Adelaidians know about.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Because people know that the Flinders Rangers is beautiful. Yeah,
they know that if you go to the Barossa you're
gonna watch a game of footy and then two minutes
away you could have quite possibly the best red woman
on the planet.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
They know we have the best beaches in the world
in Kangar Island.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
People know that they know that stuff, but do they
know about Tea Chow and yin chow.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
Do they know about those like the green pepper chicken?
Do they know about that stuff?

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Have they walked down Chinatown?

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Yeah, at eleven pm on a Saturday night and thought,
you know what, I will duck in there?

Speaker 4 (02:07):
Have they gone past the West Terrace maccas at three am?
We all know that because everybody in Adelaide has at
one point in their life had a few too many
drinks and gone home and swung past that maccas.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Give us a ring thirteen one oh two three. If
you're if you're if this is evoking any emotions? If
you have Have you ever driven the Brittannia round About
and nailed it and you've thrown your indicator on at
the right time and you've indicated off the round Do
it purposely.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Because I'm arrogant.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
I know I can do it.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
Sometimes I just do figure eights around the Britanniar round About.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
Do they know about Johnny and Rondell Moore? You don't
have to say anything else about him.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Everyone knows Johnny and performers. Do they know that we've
got three pigs, two balls and a pigeon?

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (02:44):
Do they know that once upon a time there was
a rumor that there was a razor blade in Magic
Mountain on the water's like, we all know that rumor
not true.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
No one ever saw anyone get cut up. You've thought
about it when you were on the water slides at Magic.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
That is what makes you South Australia. And we know
that there was Dazzle Land. We all went there and
then it disappeared and everyone wonders why.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
And we know that expressways don't have to go in
both directions sometimes they can just go in one. Yeah,
give us a ring thirty one or two three, you
got one for us, Tish and Blair Athol does give
us something simply a simple pleasure of yours around Adelaide.

Speaker 5 (03:18):
Oh, there's there's a fair few things that are lovely
in Adelaide. I just mentioned the mini golf down at
West Speech. Yeah, yeah, I have love taking photos. I
recently went there with the execs for your hotel Social
Club and yeah, fantastic, absolutely fantastic, fantastic.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Yeah, min Yeah, West Speech. We're talking.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
They've got all sorts of like dinosaurs and things and
crazy stuff.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
And that's that's bowl Land, Yes, that's for us, the
ball Land, and they have certainly got dinosaurs that you
can interact.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
With the minigolf state.

Speaker 5 (03:57):
Yeah yeah, yeah here there.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Thank you too.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
That because we thought we might actually make our own
radio version of the ad.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Yeah you know, I'd love to do that.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
There's so many amazing, simple pleasures in South Australia that
everyone needs to know about, but just those uniquely South
Australian things that only us as a club, the Adelaide Club,
know about, Like.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
A Charlotte pancake, a Chlot pancake, having you a commute
interrupted by someone driving on the O Barn.

Anywhere else you don't get it.
