Speaker 1 (00:00):
How do you ever get nervous getting on planes?

Speaker 2 (00:02):
No, I'm a pretty fine flyer. I do get the
inescapable fear when i'm in there. The only time, one
of the few times I feel truly, truly helpless in
this life is when you're sitting on a plane and
you hit some turbulence. Yeah, right, nothing you can do.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Have you seen the pictures out of this Singapore Airlines flight,
Because this turbute that's killed a man and put anywhere
between thirty and fifty people, I'm seeing you report it's
in the hospital. It's unbelievable.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
It really gives you if you ever needed some perspective
on why you should wear your seat belt while you're
sitting down, and you're like, I don't, I'm not going
to do that. It just matter to me. Everyone that's
injured was wearing the seat belt and they flew into
the bloody roof of the plane.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Are you a seat belt wearer? Yeah, all the time.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
I'll wear it loose.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Yeah. So you're like, so you'll probably hurt your knees
because you go up to about the seat height at
the top of.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
The seat, whiplash or something.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, Well it is just astonishing when
you see the video that's coming out about all the
damage that's done, like even the bags, like they went
up and down so much. The bags just busted themselves
out of the overhead. All those people that didn't do
the seven kilograms because they shoved twelve to fifteen in there.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Have you ever been on a flight with bad turbulence
like one that really sticks out, not just a little bit.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Hap Yeah, definitely, yes, definitely, And I am so much
more nervous flying now, I think, especially when the kids
are there, and that has changed everything. I was never
nervous about a single thing getting on a plane. I
was lucky. I'd fly in heaps of places. But now
if I've got my kids there, or even worse, if

(01:43):
I don't, that terrifies.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Me because you might go down and they'll.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Be left without me, and they need me.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
We're all happen. Do you ever think of me when
you're on planes? Interments going m actual needs me? Ah?

Speaker 1 (01:58):
No, I no, I will go think of you next flight.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Great really means a lot to me. The sincerity really
shone through.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
And then I'll just sneak over. Why don't we go
on a plane somewhere.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Yeah, where do you want to go. It's going on holiday.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Okay, we'll go on a holiday. And then while you sleep,
I might under your seat belt just for ships and giggles.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
You said seat belt.
