My Heart podcasts here more mixed one or two point
three podcasts, playlists and listen live on the free iHeart app.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Mix one O two point three Haley MAXI The Morning
two K Tuesday. So when you play the Money Minute
with Michelle Murphy after nine and all day while you work,
it's not one thousand, it's two thousand dollars. When you
get ten questions right in sixty seconds, how good is that?

Speaker 3 (00:30):
We want to know from you if you're willing to share.
Thirteen one or two three is our number. The moment
that you realize you wanted to change. This is off
the back of Burjo sharing with us yesterday because he
looks amazing and I'm noticing it every day.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
You're just shedding the weight.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
But I've known you for fourteen years and I know
that there's it's been a battle for a long time. Yo.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Yo. Yeah, you know, up and down, very up and down.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Yeah yeah, But this time it took a moment to go,
do you know what I Am actually going to do this.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
I'm going to go on Manjara and I'm going to change.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
Can you reshare that moment with us when.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
I went to the barber my hairdresser puts the case
when he's cutting your hair, and he actually can't do
it up around my thick neck and he uses like
a makeshift method with some other safety pins and stuff
like that, and he doesn't say anything, and I don't
say anything, but I know the buttons don't just click
like they should. Yeah, and it's embarrassing, you know.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
See, Sometimes it's an addiction. Eating is an addiction.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
And you would know this because you have a daughter
that you love more than anything on this earth, and
I know you want to be fit and run around
with her.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
But sometimes that's not even enough, is it.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
It wasn't enough, nah, because I can still be a
decent parent and play with her and do everything I
need to do. But yeah, there are things that sort
of happened. It's like when I went on a plane
and one of the belts didn't fit and I had
to literally just put the buckles under my gut for
takeoff and landing and pretend that my belt was done
up because you didn't want to ask, because I didn't
want to ask for an extender.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Okay, so that was your moment yesterday, and I reckon
that's inspired Probably a lot of people maybe you talking
about this yesterday was their moment right far out Burgo
has done this.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
I'm going to do this too.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Oh do you know what I just said to the
guys off here, like I love I'm on Manjaro to
weight loss injectable and I bloody love it.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
This is not an ad for this particular type of injection,
by the way, go and see a doctor please say it.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
This one just works for Burjo, but we would love
it to hear your moment.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Yeah, thirty one h two to three, give us a
ring if you've got one, Lara, And when a paras
already picked up the phone, Lara, did you have a
moment and did you lose some weight?

Speaker 4 (02:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (02:37):
So about thirteen years ago, I went to buy a
new pair of jeans and I couldn't fit into the
size twenty two. So I went yep, nope, put them down,
walked out the shop and never looked back. I still
to this day work out, only eat healthy. I only
started walking and putting my food on a dinner plate

(02:58):
instead of like a like I didn't. Then I started
getting serious. After about twenty.

Speaker 6 (03:05):
Odd kilos off most probably went down about seventy kilos,
but I'm fifty on kilo slider. I've like over the journey,
I'm nearly sixty now, so over the journey, I've sort
of stayed that fifty five kilos slider.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
What do you say to people that are in that
little predicament that you before you had that moment.

Speaker 6 (03:30):
You literally you know if that if your journey is
to take something, do it. But it's it's mind and
you have to be committed, Like thirteen years. I make
sure I get my steps, I go to the gym,
my lift weights. I only eat healthy if I want.
If I want chips or pizza, I'll eat it.

Speaker 7 (03:51):
You're good, But like just every now and then, I
eat I eat chocolate most days, but I eat two
squares and I have a big set every single day.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
Do you feel better?

Speaker 6 (04:03):
I don't like not being fit.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
Yeah, that's so good. And it is it is the
power of the mind. It is all up to you.
Nobody else can help you.

Speaker 7 (04:12):
Yes.

Speaker 6 (04:13):
And my first walk I did, I don't even know
how long, and I went, I turned back and you
know what, three or four months later I was running.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
And then and from the moment works.

Speaker 7 (04:27):
Yes, yeah, thank you.

Speaker 6 (04:28):
And then from that I went to boot camp and
from that I went to gym. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Progress, love it. Thank you Lara, that is exactly what
we're after. Thirty one oh two three. Did you have
a moment? What happened to you back in Modbury North?
You started? Oh Manjaro as well, same thing as Burgo
last year. Can you tell us about your moment back?

Speaker 5 (04:46):
Yeah, I've been.

Speaker 8 (04:47):
Through years of insertility and marriage split up and I
was about to chance fifty and I thought I can't
keep doing this. I was on a bit of a
roller poaster up down and I decided no, if I
wanted longevity, I wanted to be healthy, then I needed
to do something about it. And it was all about
the mental chance of me and Manjari helped switch off

(05:09):
that thing in your brain that makes you pray food.
So it was it was a big stat And I've
lost thirty six kilos so far sixthen and doing so
much better life and stuf been since I've been a teenager.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
That is amazing. And do you know what it's You're healthier,
You're going to live longer. That's absolutely better.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Yeah, Okay, the moment for Beck turning fifty a big milestone. Okay,
give us your moments, Adelaide, when did you have a
moment that you knew I need to change thirty one
O two three.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
It's really like a switch, it really is. I'd love
to hear those stories. Thirteen one O two three
