Speaker 1 (00:00):
Mix one or two point three Maxli in the morning
with a bit of George Harrison if you don't mind beatles.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Yeah, oh my god, solo George question Mark. I double
checked I was right though. Good on you, George, that
you had to check. He's going to go far. I
reckon that you had to check, George.
Speaker 1 (00:17):
Okay, have you ever been on holiday? Yes, in a
foreign country, doesn't matter where it is, right and thought,
I wonder what the safety tests are like on this.
I wonder if they have the same workplace health and
safety standards that we and our businesses have to go
through in Australia.
Speaker 3 (00:36):
I have certainly been in a few places overseas in
particular where I've looked around and went they ain't going
to fly out of the business site if the CFMU
comes anywhere near.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
Right, exactly right. And the reason why I bring this
up is because a couple of days back, there was
some incredible footage that showed a little girl, and when
I mean little, I would say seven yep eight. She
was stuck on a flying fox zipline, dangling one hundred
meters over over a cravass.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
Awesome.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
Well, everybody is just going yelling at her trying to
work out what to do. Now, this clever, brave little
girl has basically started swinging her legs back and forward
and inching her way down the zip line like nearly
seventy meters while her terrified father was in tears watching on.
Now that makes me feel sick to the stomach.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
Now, and I guess what country it's in? Ah oh yep?
Speaker 3 (01:32):
Or a zip line where there's no health and safety,
adventure health and safeties? And after thought, are we're in Asia?
Southeast Asia at all?
Speaker 1 (01:43):
But anyway, look, yes, we are in Bali. We're in Bali, Okay?
Now when it then? And here's where it gets interesting
because I have done plenty of silly things in Bali,
I think everybody has. But when local police investigated, they're
field Whilst the owner had permission to establish a beach attraction,
(02:05):
he did not have a permit for building a zipline.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
Awesome. And then the head.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
Of the local fire station told them that the zipline
the owner built was not suitable nor to any standard.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
It's just so good because you can picture it here
someone down at Henley, like an operator down there thinking
just thinking about operating a zip line they'll get arrested.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
They'll get arrested for thinking about it. What do you mean?
Speaker 1 (02:28):
Matt and I went to Vietnam well before kids, and
it was his turn to choose what to do. And
we could have gone to the historic museum, you know,
which is incredibly important and the Vietnam War and everything else.
He shows to go to the water park.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
Awesome, even better, to be honest. Better.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
So we've gone there and there was no one.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
That's what they would have watched in this water and
what we all for. Matt's six foot six.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
And playing footy, so you know, over one hundred care
I'm six foot and I'm not there, you know, And
we have decided to go down the speed slide. Now
there was no one else in this way for it.
There was no one else in this water park.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
Can you paint a picture of how well put together
all of the slides and everything.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
Look like something up and mean look good?
Speaker 2 (03:16):
I no dramas that at all.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
We have taken off down this speed slide. We have
hit the bottom at breakneck speed. We have got stuff laughing.
We have skittered across the pool, we have skidded up
onto the concrete and Matt has gone into the bush.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
Have a little barrier at the end, isn't there, At.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
Which point we worked out the workplace south and safety
might not have been as big in Vietnam either, as
there is of it, you know
Speaker 3 (03:45):
And the fact that most Vietnamese people are literally half
the s
