Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, why were we playing that song by Billie
Eilish Bad Guy? Well, because there is a new survey
out that has listed the rudest cities in this country.
Now before looking at it, guys, what do you think
Adelaide like?

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Like?

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Adelaide's pretty friendly? Don't you think?

Speaker 2 (00:16):
I think we're pretty friendly? And I think Sydney is
easily the rude of city in Australia.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
I would agree with that.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Really, yeah, I think most people would have to agree
with that.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
I think Adelaide can be friendly, but I think we
can be rute on the roads. Like I don't get
a lot of waves on the roads. I get a
lot of you know, speeding up and cutting off on
the roads.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Are you indicating it.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Anyway? Do you want to know the top five? Yes?
All right, little place called Tawoomba up the top Coinsland there.
When I say the top you come out of, it's
the sort of western you up the mountain range. That's
that's the fifth rudest city. I'll leave number four and
I'm going to go up to number three, Brisbane, Queensland.
Third rudess city Rockhampton or Rock of Vargus as we

(00:59):
used to call Iteensland against second city Bunderberg, Queensland city
rudest city in the world. Also where berg Rum is
made coincidence.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
I think that makes a lot of sense.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Actually, so Queensland has taken four of the top five.
Do you want to know who the fourth rudest city
is in this entire country?

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Tell me it is Sydney, freaking Adelaide, Adelaide.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
We're all a bunch of them, apparently. What Yeah? And
do you want to know what else is the commonality
between all five of those cities? Let me just have
a quick to Wombo and Queensland, Adelaide in South Australia, Brisbane,
Rockampton and Bunderberg all in Queensland. I have a suspicion
I've spent all spent quality time in all five.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
You've lived in all of those cities?

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Yeah, I've been billeted out in them. I've played sport
in them. Rockampton I used to go up to every
New Year's Eve for the Rocky bns. Can you imagine that?

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (02:05):
And Bunderberg, Yes, I've been up there quite a few
times to sample some of the goods that they sell
up there.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
So this survey did the nicest as well so, Sunshine
Coast is the nicest place, and if Ali Clark ever
goes there, kick her out, don't hit her in the airport.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Property prices will plummet.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
