Okay, I'm about to share something that is pretty foul foul,
but I feel like I've experienced it and I have
to live with that that. I feel like I need

I found something really repulsive in my accommodation over the

summer break. I just need to preface by saying the
lead up to it, I'd never been to Barley before, right.
I bid on at a charity auction on a house
over there, a villa, so I had no idea where
I was going. I went with my beautiful little family,
my two boys, my husband Jimmy, and my mom and dad. Right,
beautiful multiple generational holiday. So we get there not knowing

where this villa was, and it ended up near near
the jail, Chappelle's jail. It was the worst area, the
Bali nine. It was the Barley nine. It was a
really horrific area. So this is my first taste of Barley,
which I will say I have fallen in love with now,
but at the time I was not enjoying.

You were sort of locking down your boogie board.

Yes, yeah, I really was. We get to our villa
and it wasn't cleaned yet, right, so it was it
wasn't looking great at the beginning, and I was regretting
where we were staying do you want.

To call out charity that you bought?

Speaker 1 (01:15):
I don't regret that. I don't regret that good cause.
So we're there. It's pretty foul. My husband's really positive
about everything, so he's like, don't straight, it's fine, it's fine.
I was like, okay, I need to like fall in
love with Balley really fast, otherwise I'm going to be
in a grumpy mood all holiday. So I thought, let's
get a message that my favorite thing in the world.

So we got these two people to come over. My
husband and I lay on our bed and these beautiful
Balalinese ladies were massaging our feet for an hour.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
It was heavy. This is what it's all about.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
So good. And when that finished, they left and I
was like, thank god, I've fallen in love. Now, Okay,
I'm fine, I'm at peace, relaxed. As I stepped off
our bed, I stepped on something that I was like,
what is that? There was something on the floor. I
moved my foot and under my foot was the most.

Resive thing you could ever think of in my room,
like a rat or something not a rat, worse some
I'm going to hand you a photo just warning you
pretty foul.

And when I send this photo to my friends, they
also gag.

That's a sanitary pad. That's a used sanitary pad. That's
not red, it's.

The other another color. It was an old sanitary pad
on my Okay, I wasn't gonna say the color because
now the visual people are going to be hanging in
their cars.

What the hell even does that?

I don't have those bits made. I don't understand how
this thing works, but I feel like I shouldn't look

But why was it on my floor? I was like,
did that just come out of her pants?

Or was it under the bed?

Speaker 2 (03:17):
And it just like I just kicked it out exactly.

Like that, as you can imagine. Now, I was like,
I need to get it out. I was calling my
friends at the travel agency. I was calling Bird Joe
like books a lot of my travel for me. I
was like trying to get out of his place because
it was so gross.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
That is disgusting.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Okay, now you know why. When I told my best
friends at a cafe in Thebeton, she ran out and gagged.
I would love to hear, though, if you have one
of these stories on thirteen one oh two three, What
did you find in your accommodation? You don't have to
be as foul as that, No.

What do you find in your accommodation? Can be gross,
can be nice, can be anything in between. But it's
something unexpected. Hotel room, Airbnb thirty one o two three.
