Speaker 1 (00:00):
And it is all Britney spears all the way this
morning because her brand new memoir The Woman in Me
has been released. Now she's done the audiobook, but when
I said she's done it, she's done the very very
first bit of it.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
Yes, this book has been a labor of love and
other emotions that come with it. Reliving everything that you're
about to hear has been exciting, heart wrenching and emotional,
to say the least. For those reasons, I will only
be reading a small part of my audio book. I'm
so grateful to the amazing Michelle Williams for reading the
rest of it, and to you for listening.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
I've got to say, I don't know I could read
and listen to a whole book in that voice.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
Do you think I couldn't? She sounds like she's auditioning
for a sequel of Alvin and the Chipmunk.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
It is a little bit like that. And of course
Michelle Williams broke back Mountain whole lies the things she
was with Heath Ledger and yeah, yeah, exactly. Okay, So
here is now Michelle Williams's voice, but this is Britney's words,
and there is so much in this book, and you're
going to be smashed with it right across the next
twenty four to forty eight hours. Everybody's going to be
talking about it. But so much surrounds Justin, Tim Blake
(01:06):
and Britney Spears, two of the biggest stars in the world.
Of course, their first kiss when they were on the
Mickey Mouse Club together. They stayed on touch. She ended
up touring with Justin and in Sync. They had lots
and lots in common, she says, and she was so
in love with him that she says, and I quote
it was pathetic. They dated for three years, they were
living together. At this point, both of their careers were
really taking off. But she says that she knew that
(01:27):
he had been cheating on her, but just chose to
ignore it because she was so in love with him.
That was until she then cheated on him with an
Aussie choreographer take a lism.
Speaker 4 (01:37):
There were a couple times during our relationship when I
knew Justin had cheated on me, especially because I was
so infatuated and so in love, I let it go.
When in Sync went to London in two thousand, photographers
caught him with one of the girls from all Saints
in a car, but I never said anything. Another time,
we were in Vegas and one of my dancers who
had been hanging out with him, told me he gesturedtored
(01:58):
a girl and said, yeah, man, I had that last night.
I don't want to say who he was talking about,
because she's actually very popular and she's married with kids now.
I don't want her to feel bad. There were rumors
about him with various dancers and group bees. I let
it go, but clearly he'd slept around so I did too.
Speaker 5 (02:14):
Not a lot. One time with Wade Robson.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
I mean, we knew that Justin Timberlake was nervous about
this book coming out, but oh boy, wow, we do
you Reckon.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
He was most nervous about the fact that we would
all learn that. He says things like, yeah, man, I hit.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
That so gross. It is so gross, like horrible, horrible, horrible. Anyway,
they go through it all, They go through the breakup,
and Brittany says that she believes Justin used her as
ammunition for his debut solo album. We played that Crimeyer
River song right, and the whole narrative became that Brittany
was a horrible, horrible person. And JT could do no
wrong right, which often happens unfortunately between men and women
(02:53):
and celebrities. Anyway, she kind of said that she was
actually happy when Justin told the media that they you know,
because it was so much about their sex life. Can
you imagine being a kid, and when I meet a
kid she grew up really early, but still a kid,
having the entire world obsessed with whether or not Justin
took her virginity, Like, it's just bizarre. Can you imagine
(03:15):
growing up as that person?
Speaker 3 (03:16):
She's sexualized very early Britney, and I mean a lot
of it, like that hit me baby one the time.
But she's still sixteen or seventeen or something.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
I don't know her age, but yeah, that was kind
of the one, wasn't it. But just because she did that,
it was like everybody had free reign over it, which
isn't right anyway. Once she got free of him, she
started dating and she speaks about some of her other
famous relationships. She had a brief fling with Colin Farrell,
you know the movie Start What Yeah, And this was
the first person that she was with after JT, A.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
Sar guy who I thought was handsome and a club
promoter of friends that I had good taste.
Speaker 5 (03:50):
That guy is so cool.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
My friend said, his name is Colin Farrell and he's
shooting a movie right now.
Speaker 5 (03:55):
Well, talk about balls.
Speaker 4 (03:57):
I got in my car and I drove up to
the set of his action movie Swat. There is no
security or anything, so I went straight onto the sound stage.
We wound up having a two week brawl. Brawl is
the only word for it. We were all over each other,
grappling so passionately.
Speaker 5 (04:13):
It was like we were in a street fight.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
I mean, there's so many things to take out of
that story.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
Boy.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
Number One, you can drive straight onto a lot and
there's no security. Is that because they're filming Swat?
Speaker 3 (04:23):
Watch Out? Watch Out? Hugh Jackman, Yeah, go to on
that coming for a grapple.
