Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's one of two point three Max and Ali in
the morning. All right, if you've just joined us, Yes,
we know that Coldplay is the biggest band in the
world or certainly in our little corner of the world
at the moment, especially right now. Yeah, and we are
still giving you your chances to get a row of
Coldplay tickets. But Analise from Uncle Bringer Hills reached out
(00:20):
to us. And Analise is twenty four years of age.
She's living with a terminal illness and this will be
her last concert tonight. She's gone to Melbourne. She's with
her mum and her sisters, but her dad at last
minute couldn't go.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
They got a spare ticket.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
And instead of selling it or doing anything like that,
she just said, look, I want someone to come and
experience this magic with me. They are an incredibly special
band to her for so many reasons. Yeah, and she
wanted to pass on the good vibes.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
I've been through so much crap and I've now seen
that I want to help people as much as I
can with what time I have left. So I want
to give this away so someone can get the same
joy that I'm going to get. Seeing Chris Martin and
the Fellows tonight.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Analiz you you have been putting your story out there,
and part of this has been a story that you
have hidden for so many years because you were embarrassed
about your illness. But how are you feeling now that
you've been speaking to all of Adelaide.
Speaker 3 (01:12):
I know I've been sitting here in tears, especially because
you played Universe.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
And we're like, well, of course we did for the
girls now much we thought it would be maybe a
little bit of a tall sort of order to say
to somebody, hey, we've only got one ticket, we don't
have a way to get you to Melbourne. We don't
even have accommodation.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
Right tonight, in the middle of the week, but the.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
Phones have been going off. First, I'm going to introduce
you to somebody from no Longer down. Her name is Dannielle,
and she might be a little bit familiar to you.
Danny el you were one of an Lisa's nurses, weren't you.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
I was?
Speaker 4 (01:47):
And she is absolutely inspiring. She's just amazing. How are
you gorgeous girl?
Speaker 1 (01:55):
Well you started speaking, Dannielle, she was okay.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
I know, I know, so beautiful, Annalise, I had the
utmost privilege of caring for her when she did come
to the hospital, and you will forever be in my heart.
Speaker 5 (02:17):
As I listened to your story this morning, my daughter
looked at me and said, Mommy, you were okay, You're
just honestly, you are just You're an angel, you really are.
And I know it's one ticket and I'd love to
be there, but my eight year old daughter would absolutely
(02:38):
There's no way I could go without her. Yesterday I
made ninety six calls to try and get through likely.
Speaker 4 (02:50):
You're just amazing.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
Thank you, Daniel for just even picking up the phone.
Now the good news for you, Dannielle is Michelle Murphy
still got rose of tickets to go.
Speaker 6 (02:59):
I know her.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
Also, thank you very much ringing up because I think
a lot of us that don't exist in a nursing
world or live in this space sometimes wonder how your
nurses get through it and how you feel and if
you emotionally you can go, you know, and meet these
incredible people that you change their lives. And it's just
so clear what an amazing you nurses and medical professional.
Speaker 4 (03:23):
Yeah, yeah, she's just honestly, I will never forget you,
and I know that that nose ring. You won't forget
me either.
Speaker 6 (03:36):
Wow a bond you go and.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
Get ready to ring Michelle Murphy again and again. Thank you.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
All right, Well we have to find someone who can
accept just one ticket and not have an issue that's
going to break her and her eight year old daughter up,
which is while we continued going through the phones and
Alice and we have on the line in Peters Susie,
Good morning Susie.
Speaker 6 (04:04):
Good morning Max and Ali and Emilie.
Speaker 7 (04:07):
How are you all okay?
Speaker 1 (04:09):
Now, Susie, you were one of the first on the
phone to be able to put your hand up for this. Now,
a lot of people would say, well, why would you
do this? Why would you put yourself under pressure to
get to Melbourne tonight to sit next to a lady,
incredible woman that you've never met before, to go and
see yeah it's coldplay, but yeah you don't. I don't
even have anywhere to stay.
Speaker 7 (04:28):
Why does this appeal to you?
Speaker 6 (04:32):
Well, listening to Amalise has touched my heart and similarly
I just get so much from her strength and your
ability Analise to deal with something so difficult at such
a young age. My husband had the possible genetics for
(04:52):
Huntington's disease, and I wish that his two brothers, who
passed as little ones, had taken them taken it to
their g but unfortunately, Pete at fifty five was diagnosed
with Huntington's and I went through that journey with him,
as did our four daughters. And he loved Cold Clay
(05:13):
and introduced us to him. He loved his music and
it was one thing that helped him to keep going.
And his attitude to life was similar to yours in
that it became really positive and after the anger and
all of the emotions of the rollercoaster emotions that you
(05:34):
go through, and yeah, whilst I don't have any of that,
I did go through with him, and it was extremely difficult.
We lost him January two years ago, in twenty twenty two,
which was hard. And I've just bought a new place
here in Saint Peter's and it's the first house I've
(05:58):
had without him. A bit tricky. I'm sorry, because I
don't have anything wrong with me.
Speaker 7 (06:12):
To apologize.
Speaker 6 (06:16):
And when he died, I used to play all day
long his iPod and then it died and I freaked
out and I managed to get all the music off
it by some amazing computer company, and I'm too scared
to play it in case it didn't work.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
So what do you think? So you obviously want to go.
This would be such a celebration of life and her
mum and her two sisters. So yeah, I don't know,
an what do you reckon? Is she a good band mate?
Speaker 3 (06:53):
I would be absolutely honored. Thank you so much, I
know it. It's excivently just as much. You guys WoT
the same journey with us, even though there's nothing wrong
with you. You are going through the exact same thing,
just in a different way.
Speaker 6 (07:12):
Yeah, yeah, thank you.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
Look after us, our bloody angels.
Speaker 5 (07:19):
Think well.
Speaker 6 (07:19):
At times I wasn't an elysee. At times I turned
into an Irish bansheet.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
Well, I don't know about you, but we're all tearing
up in the here. I think we've achieved the number
one rules, don't send an idiot idiot over there. So Susie,
you've passed that. Now what about getting to Melbourne? Because
we can't help you with that right tonight?
Speaker 5 (07:43):
Yeah, I have.
Speaker 6 (07:45):
Weirdly enough, I was going to see my daughter in
Melbourne who's studying over there currently in ophthalmology. And I
was going to see her. They live in Torquay, and
I bought flights but forgot that.
Speaker 7 (07:56):
By double book you got if you got flight has
tobour like credits to Melbourne and then can you stay I.
Speaker 6 (08:07):
Could stay with her, she's in Talkey.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Have you got anything at home that we need to
look after today?
Speaker 6 (08:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (08:16):
Actually I have.
Speaker 6 (08:18):
Two dogs and two cats. But I have amazing friend
who lives in North Adelaide, and I have another daughter
because we have four, who lives just up the road
and who actually is a nurse in hematology, so she
deals with a lot of terminal patients and I help her.
When she loses someone that really touches her, she can
(08:41):
come through and set them.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
God, thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
And a last I can't wait to meet you and
your family either.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
Girls. This is just we can cry the dight away.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
An left after.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Here's what's going to happen. Now we are going to
let you go an Als. You are in Melbourne waiting
for tonight to see this man that is so special
for you. Susie. You've got to ring people to look
after dogs and cats. You get the flight, Sworded. You
got to tell your daughter you're going to be over there.
We are just so happy that you guys have found
each other. Enjoy tonight so very much, so.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
Much to everybody, seriously, like I don't know how to
thank you.
Speaker 6 (09:38):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
You're the one that came through and wanted to speak
to us and wanted to give away a ticket. Please,
We're going to have to check in with you again.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
Here's the deal. We do need a selfie of you two,
all right, cry have the most beautiful night on behalf
of all of us, and we'll be living it with you.
We cannot wait to talk to you again tomorrow, to
see thank you so all of your dreams and say
how to your mom and sisters will be joining you
to analyst from all of us.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
I will all right, thank you so much. I love
you all all.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
Right, We've got to get out of here. Oh my god,
I'm gonna go on, lie down, take a breath, all right.
Michelle Murphy has more Coldplay tickets, rows of them to
get to you. Get you in the running, so enjoy it.
In the meantime, we will be back probably rest tomorrow morning.
