Speaker 3 (00:18):
It's Hailey Max in the Morning, Hailey.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Hand Maxes World Famous.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
All let's learn a little something about Hailey Pierson right now.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
You have to answer it truthfully. That's the wall of truth. Okay.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
I want to ask, first of all, just for clarity,
how long have you been married to your husband?

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Jimmy?

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Oh god? Two thousand and seven.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Okay, you guys from the outside that Peter have a
fantastic relationship. You get on very well, You got your
two kids like I love it, You laugh at each other,
and as far as I'm aware, sparks still fly. But
I want to know when the last time you guys
went on a date was.

Speaker 4 (00:55):
The last time I went on a date with my husband.
I actually can't remember. I think it was a year
and a half ago.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Do you know what it is? I reckon if you're in.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
This position as well, I'm going to think of the
chaos of life at the moment, where we're both work
full time after school every day, there's some form of
sport on and then weekends we have a soccer game in,
three basketball games on a Saturday, and then Saturday night.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
My favorite place to be.

Speaker 4 (01:21):
I know that I'm all over everywhere in South Australia whatever,
doing fun things with my job, but my favorite place
to be is at home, of course, with my two dogs,
my two boys, Jimmy, and just chilling. So whenever we
go out, it's always with the boys because I feel
guilty going, well, it's been a busy week, I haven't
seen them. If I go out with Jimmy, then I
don't know I can to see my kids.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Do you feel like that hurts your relationship to your husband?

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Do you know the bad thing is? I know, like
you know, we've been together forever.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
I've been with him from more than half my life,
and I feel like we're always going to be okay.
But I probably do do the wrong thing by putting
kids are always number one. Work is number two because
it's quite busy. I have three jobs, and then he
probably always is number three.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
That's pretty bad. Do you think that he would like
to be a little little notch higher.

Speaker 4 (02:08):
Of course, he would probably like to be higher, but
like I don't know, we just don't ever.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Just go out the two of us.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
If we go out, it's with other people, or it's
with the kids or whatever. We're not like a romantic
couple either, Like you won't see us in public, you know,
like holding hands and kissing or anything like that.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
We don't do that, hold hands in public.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
No, we've got a thing with holding hands. We don't
like holding hands.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
What do you mean, no normal thing?

Speaker 2 (02:32):
No, I know, but it's a weird.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
I feel like it uncomfortable, and I do it on
purpose to make him feel uncomfortable, and like we have
a joke when we do it.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
We touch, but it's not like we're like.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
Overtly like it's not a PDA.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
No, we're not like that.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
You're in this position before you you haven't got kids yet,
so it's just the two of you. But then when
you add in kids and another dog and life, it
just gets so crazy that you do kind of put
your partner maybe to the side a little bit.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
It doesn't mean I love him any less.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Busy debate.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
Do you think that your relationship would be better if
you guys made time to date each other?

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Yeah, we still talk.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
I call him probably twenty times a day, so we
still talk all the time.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
It's not like we're lacking communication.

Speaker 4 (03:14):
No, and then he'll always write me really rude messages.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
What are we talking?

Speaker 2 (03:19):
I'm not reading them out.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Dad's not reading about don't hanging rude or saucy.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Saucy not rude, doesn't mean to me?

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Just do you look terrible today? Fat? Really ugly? The
Spark's still alive.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
The spark is still alive. It probably could be better
if we went on dates together, but I don't know. Haley,
Max's producer, Bella. We've just had someone called in Helen
not alone. People are really really resonating with this. We've
got Amanda, let's talk to her next.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Amanda, Okay, last name, hug and kiss?

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Oh good?

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Or maybe not? Yeah, maybe she's got some advice for you.
That's coming up next with Haley and Max on Mix
