Speaker 1 (00:47):
You're like relationship dramas, whether it's with your significant other,
someone in the workplace, a friend, whatever.

Speaker 4 (00:52):
Yeah, that's exactly what Maria and Croydon has done. Maria.

Speaker 5 (00:59):
Hi, Maria, Wow, beautiful guys.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Said that about my singing.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
Maria, You've got an issue that I think is quite
common and I think everyone needs to know the answer to.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Can you share with.

Speaker 5 (01:11):
Us what it is? Yeah? Okay, So I've been friends
with this guy for two years. For context, we also
used to work together, but then, like you know, we
moved on from that job and we've both remained in contact,
like texting, we catch up, we go for drinks. We're

(01:32):
both single. I have developed feelings for him, At first,
I thought it was kind of like a school little
school girl crash type, like, all, this guy's giving me attention,
but like I've tried to date other people, but I
have feelings for him, but it's like the risk of
how do I get out of the friend zone? Like

(01:55):
I'm well and truly and deep.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Yeah, okay, so Maria, can we paint some more picture here,
a little bit more context in this friend zone? Like
what are you guys doing? Do you hang out? Do
you go to the movies together? Are we sending memes
to each other? How friendly are we?

Speaker 4 (02:10):
How often are you texting?

Speaker 5 (02:12):
We're probably texting maybe every second day, but it's gotten
to the point like he'll send me photos of the
girls he's going on dates with, or be like how
do I respond to this message?

Speaker 4 (02:25):
So like, okay, I have been in this exact position,
and I ended up marrying the guy. We were friends
and we'd go to movies together, we'd text every couple
of days, and I loved him and he never knew.
How I'll tell you how I got out of the
friend zone is we were out one night at a
pub and I just went up and kiss him. So

(02:48):
you could try that but there is a massive risk
that if he doesn't feel the same, then it'll be.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Embarrassing for you.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
But what have you got to lose really because you
feel this way, So you don't want to continue being
friends with him because it's going to hurt you because
you love him obviously.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Yeah, okay, so it sounds like to me, Maria, he
has no idea if he's sending you pictures of the
girls he's going on dates with. He's not clear that
you want to jump out of the friend zone. Can
we can we start by maybe just just testing the
waters a little bit and going on some more serious
dinner dates type thing.

Speaker 5 (03:26):
It's okay, I suppose Max, Can I get Can.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
I get inside your brain for a second as a guy?

Speaker 2 (03:32):
And Burgos as well.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
So if you were doing this and you were sending
her photos of like the girls, would you do that
if you had feelings for her? Or would you not?

Speaker 2 (03:43):
No, that's not to say I wouldn't do that if
I had feelings for her. Let's not say I couldn't
develop feelings for her.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
But couldn't it be I want to I don't want
to be with this person, or I want to make
you jealous?

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Absolutely.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
If I liked you, I would not send you pictures
of people I was going on dates with. If I
was really well, I am good friends with you, I
would if I was single, I would send you pictures
and we would talk about them.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Yeah, okay, he just doesn't know at this point. But
she's keen on him. Yeah, that's all it is. How
do you not know though?

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Are you flirty? Are you touchy? Are you?

Speaker 5 (04:17):
But I feel like it's been a bit flirty my game.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
Yeah, sometimes we don't come across like that.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
All right, we're going to put it out of this.
I don't know. Sometimes Haley, Haley could be flirting with me.
I don't know. She's probably not. She's married. I'm not
she's married, but I don't know. My brain doesn't really
understand her language half the time.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
Thirteen one o two three. How do you get out
of the friend zone? Creative ways to do it? We'd
love to help, Marie.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Or maybe you think it's not possible. We'll take all calls.
Thirteen one oh two three. You go in the running
for that five hundred dollars Ninja slushy machine with Haley
and Max on mix
