If you're a parent and your kids are loving that
song and you have to play it all the time,
I'm with you, But I'm not sick of it.
Speaker 1 (00:22):
I like I'm shame. I'm waiting for the day that
I get sick of it. I'm not at all. I'm
so far from me.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
Yeah, I love it. Mix on and two point three

Speaker 4 (00:34):
I'm just going to read out a WHATSAP message that
happened last night between our team. Someone sent through the
video of Robert Irwin and his mum dancing on Dancing
with the Stars.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
It's all over the news.
Speaker 4 (00:47):
He probably would have seen it on your Instagram this morning.
Max's reaction, you're the first thing you said was the
most staged, fake made for TV crap I have ever seen.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
The Irwins are yuck, to which I replied, what did
I say? Oh? I was just crying. That video really
got me. Okay, so we need to talk about this now.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
This is Robert Erwans on dancing with the stars, right,
He's everywhere at.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
The moment, but the massive in the US. I'm shocked
at the impact that the Irwins had over there. I
knew Steve was massive, but they love.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
They love him.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
Yeah, And he was dancing to Phil Collins You'll be
in My Heart with his partner, and towards the end.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
Of it, his mom comes on stage and this is
the part they've got me. His mom came on stage
and then they danced together and it was a.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
Really the camera did a three point sixty. It started
with Robert holding his arm out to his dance partner
and then you couldn't see the dance partner for two seconds,
and then the camera zoom's back out and he's holding Terry's.
Speaker 4 (01:47):
Hand and then they finished this dance together and it
is so emotional and between a mother, a single mum
who lost her husband in a freak accident, and her
little boy who lost his dad when he was two. Yeah,
(02:10):
how could you look at that in any other way
than a beautiful moment.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
Steve Irwin was a national treasure. He was the face
of Australia. I completely understand that I grew up and
I got I had Steve Irn on the screens and
I love that he was. I reckon he was. He
did more for tourism in Australia than any tourism.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
Campaigns I do. So why are you bagging them?
Speaker 2 (02:31):
I'm gonna shoot bamby a little bit here because Robert
Irwin was two when his dad died, and all of
the interviews he gave after this were just like I
know that he would be proud. I know this about
my dad. I don't remember anything for when I was two,
and I know that it's tough growing up without a dad,
and I know that that's something that they've been through
the family. But he keeps talking as if like this
is what my dad would have wanted.
Speaker 4 (02:51):
You don't know, it's stuff growing up with our dad.
Nobody would know that unless you've been through that. He's
not crying going I'm like I miss my dad. It's
a crying of like this outpouring of emotion of like
I lost my dad and my mom had to mom
and dad, both my sister and I and she's done
so much and it's such a tragic loss.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Let me ask you this.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
It doesn't get easier.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
Is there any bit of you that looks at the
irwins now, whether it be Robert or Terry or Bindy,
and you go, sure, nice, good for Australia. Still doing
great things over there in the US, But they come
across it's just a little bit fake and stage managed.
Is there any bit of you that thinks, yeah, no,
I'll be completely honest.
Speaker 4 (03:33):
I think the way that sometimes Bindy will talk to
the media and Robert is very acting, but that's the
that's their character, and that's what Steve was too. Steve,
but that moment on stage is what we're talking about.
That was real.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
His mum never moved on. She never there's been twenty years.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
Why don't we play the audio of his post dance
discussion and there's actually a moment in it where you
can almost hear the crocodile tears.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
Before you play it.
Speaker 4 (04:08):
When you listen to it, you will hear someone who
is being a performer, and then you will hear the
real emotion breaking through halfway through when he realizes what's
what he's saying.
Speaker 2 (04:18):
It was a it was a hard, hard week, but
so beautiful.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
I've been thinking about this so much. My mom and
dad would just like.
Speaker 4 (04:28):
The ultimate team my mum, and her strength is the
reason why I'm here.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
I cannot even imagine. I can't put into words how.
Speaker 4 (04:36):
Proud my dad would be of her, and I truly feel.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
In some way, I don't know how.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
I feel that he's that he's here in some way,
and I hope he's proud.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
Did you get that you think he's acting?
Speaker 2 (04:51):
I think that a lot of that is put.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
On Oh that's cuts me deep.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
We've interviewed him a few times and he's so lovely
and he's so nice, but I just feel like I've
not ever heard an original opinion. You could say to him, Hey,
what's your favorite color in the rainbow, and he'd be like, oh,
I can't pick one. I couldn't pick one the color.
Speaker 4 (05:08):
Okay, but that's that's that's performer, Robert. That moment last
night that you're bagging was a real moment with his mum.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
I'm not sure that it was. We'll agree to disagree.
Speaker 3 (05:19):
All right, hot Tea. If that wasn't hot Tea, I
don't know what was. But we'll do more hot Tea next.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Gross Brittany news.
Speaker 4 (05:27):
Brittany she cheated on k fed with with one of
her backup dancers in a quite in a gross way.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
I got lots of yucky news for you, Mi,
